Even The Algos Aren't Convinced By The Latest Greek Deal Rumors

Tyler Durden's picture

You know it's bad when on an illiquid Friday, a Greek Deal Rumor headline only manages a measly 5pt ramp in the S&P 500... Wolf cried just one too many times? Wednesday saw 25 point vertical ramp on the same headline...

Same old same old...

There is a rumor/theory circulating throughout the FX underworld, according to which the Greeks are purposefully coming with such headlines in order to make some money in the FX market! Meaning they are placing their orders and later are coming out with the story and headlines capable to move the markets!

Can't say if could even be possible, but it sounded like an interesting theory. Probably just bulshit!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

The Eurocrats have to keep their membership the same or ever increasing.

stop referring criminal, manipulative market practices as being conducted by "algos".  people are doing this, people who are not supposed to be above the law, even if they think otherwise.

there are no "algos", there are criminals
