You know it's bad when on an illiquid Friday, a Greek Deal Rumor headline only manages a measly 5pt ramp in the S&P 500... Wolf cried just one too many times? Wednesday saw 25 point vertical ramp on the same headline...

There is a rumor/theory circulating throughout the FX underworld, according to which the Greeks are purposefully coming with such headlines in order to make some money in the FX market! Meaning they are placing their orders and later are coming out with the story and headlines capable to move the markets!
Can't say if could even be possible, but it sounded like an interesting theory. Probably just bulshit!
