Debt: War And Empire By Other Means
This video below may help one to understand some of the seemingly obtuse demands from the Troika with regard to Greece.
The video is a bit dated, but the debt scheme it describes remains largely unchanged. The primary development has been the creation of an experiment called the European Union and the character of the targets. One might also look to the wars of 'preventative intervention' and 'colour revolutions' that raise up puppet regimes for examples of more contemporary economic spoliation.
From largely small and Third World countries, the candidates for debt peonage have become the smaller amongst the developed Western countries, the most vulnerable on the periphery.
And even the domestic populations of the monetary powers, the US, Germany, and the UK, are now feeling the sting of financialisation, debt imposition through crises, and austerity. What used to only take place in South America and Africa has now taken place in Jefferson County Alabama. Corrupt officials burden taxpayers with unsustainable amounts of debt for unproductive, grossly overpriced projects.
It would be wrong in these instances to blame the whole country, the whole government, or all corporations, except perhaps for sleepwalking, and sometimes willfully, towards the abyss. For the most part a relatively small band of scheming and devious fellows abuse and corrupt every form of government and organization and law in order to achieve their private ambitions, often using various forms of intimidation and reward. It is an old, old story.
And then there is the mass looting enable by the most recent financial crisis and Bank bailouts. If the people will not take on the chains of debt willingly, you impose them indirectly, while giving the funds to your cronies who will use them against the very people who are bearing the burdens, while lecturing them on moral values and thrift. It is an exceptionally diabolical con game.
The TPP and TTIP are integral initiatives in this effort of extending financial obligations, debt, and control. You might ask yourself why the House Republicans, who have fought the current President at every turn, blocking nominees and even stages many mock votes to repeatedly denounce a healthcare plan that originated in their own think tank and first implemented by their own presidential candidate, are suddenly championing that President's highest profile legislation, and against the opposition of his own party?
The next step, after Greece is subdued, will be to extend that model to other, larger countries. And to redouble the austerity at home under cover of the next financial crisis by eliminating cash as a safe haven, and to begin the steady stream of digital 'bailing-in.'
This is why these corporatists and statists hate gold and silver, by the way. And why it is at the focal point of a currency war. It provides a counterweight to their monetary power. It speaks unpleasant truths. It is a safe haven and alternative, along with other attempts to supplant the IMF and the World Bank, for the rest of the world.
So when you say, the Philippines deserved it, Iceland deserved it, Ireland deserved it, Africa deserves it, Jefferson County deserved it, Detroit deserved it, and now Greece deserves it, just keep in mind that some day soon they will be saying that you deserve it, because you stood by and did nothing. Because when they are done with all the others, for whom do you think they come next? If you wish to see injustice stopped, if you wish to live up to the pledge of 'never again,' then you must stand for your fellows who are vulnerable.
The economic hitmen have honed their skills among the poor and relatively defenseless, and have been coming closer to home in search of new hunting grounds and fatter spoils. There is nothing 'new' or 'modern' about this.

The International Monetary Fund’s chief economist, Olivier Blanchard, recently asked a simple and important question: “How much of an adjustment has to be made by Greece, how much has to be made by its official creditors?” But that raises two more questions: How much of an adjustment has Greece already made? And have its creditors given anything at all?
In May 2010, the Greek government agreed to a fiscal adjustment equal to 16% of GDP from 2010 to 2013. As a result, Greece moved from a primary budget deficit (which excludes interest payments on debt) of more than 10% of GDP to a primary balance last year – by far the largest such reversal in post-crisis Europe.
The IMF initially projected that Greece’s real (inflation-adjusted) GDP would contract by around 5% over the 2010-2011 period, stabilize in 2012, and grow thereafter. In fact, real GDP fell 25%, and did not recover. And, because nominal GDP fell in 2014 and continues to fall, the debt/GDP ratio, which was supposed to stabilize three years ago, continues to rise.
Blanchard notes that in 2012, Greece agreed “to generate enough of a primary surplus to limit its indebtedness” and to implement “a number of reforms which should lead to higher growth.” Those so-called reforms included sharply lower public spending, minimum-wage reductions, fire-sale privatizations, an end to collective bargaining, and deep pension cuts. Greece followed through, but the depression continued.
The IMF and Greece’s other creditors have assumed that massive fiscal contraction has only a temporary effect on economic activity, employment, and taxes, and that slashing wages, pensions, and public jobs has a magical effect on growth. This has proved false. Indeed, Greece’s post-2010 adjustment led to economic disaster – and the IMF’s worst predictive failure ever.
Blanchard should know better than to persist with this fiasco. Once the link between “reform” and growth is broken – as it has been in Greece – his argument collapses. With no path to growth, the creditors’ demand for an eventual 3.5%-of-GDP primary surplus is actually a call for more contraction, beginning with another deep slump this year.
But, rather than recognizing this reality and adjusting accordingly, Blanchard doubles down on pensions. He writes:
“Why insist on pensions? Pensions and wages account for about 75% of primary spending; the other 25% have already been cut to the bone. Pension expenditures account for over 16% of GDP, and transfers from the budget to the pension system are close to 10% of GDP. We believe a reduction of pension expenditures of 1% of GDP (out of 16%) is needed, and that it can be done while protecting the poorest pensioners.”
Note first the damning admission: apart from pensions and wages, spending has already been “cut to the bone.” And remember: the effect of this approach on growth was negative. So, in defiance of overwhelming evidence, the IMF now wants to target the remaining sector, pensions, where massive cuts – more than 40% in many cases – have already been made. The new cuts being demanded would hit the poor very hard.
Pension payments now account for 16% of Greek GDP precisely because Greece’s economy is 25% smaller than it was in 2009. Without five years of disastrous austerity, Greek GDP might be 33% higher than it is now, and pensions would be 12% of GDP rather than 16%. The math is straightforward.
Blanchard calls on Greece’s government to offer “truly credible measures.” Shouldn’t the IMF do likewise? To get pensions down by one percentage point of GDP, nominal economic growth of just 4% per year for two years would suffice – with no further cuts. Why not have “credible measures” to achieve that goal?
This brings us to Greek debt. As everyone at the IMF knows, a debt overhang is a vast unfunded tax liability that says to investors: enter at your own risk. At any time, your investments, profits, and hard work may be taxed away to feed the dead hand of past lenders. The overhang is a blockade against growth. That is why every debt crisis, sooner or later, ends in restructuring or default.
Blanchard is a pioneer in the economics of public debt. He knows that Greece’s debt has not been sustainable at any point during the last five years, and that it is not sustainable now. On this point, Greece and the IMF agree.
In fact, Greece has a credible debt proposal. First, let the European Stabilization Mechanism (ESM) lend €27 billion ($30 billion), at long maturities, to retire the Greek bonds that the European Central Bank foolishly bought in 2010. Second, use the profits on those bonds to pay off the IMF. Third, include Greece in the ECB’s program of quantitative easing, which would let it return to the markets.
Greece would agree to fair conditions for the ESM loan. It does not ask for one cent of additional official funding for the Greek state. It is promising to live within its means forever, and rely on internal savings and external investment for growth – far short of what any large country, controlling its own currency, would do when facing a comparable disaster.
Blanchard insists that now is the time for “tough choices, and tough commitments to be made on both sides.” Indeed it is. But the Greeks have already made tough choices. Now it is the IMF’s turn, beginning with the decision to admit that the policies it has imposed for five long years created a disaster. For the other creditors, the toughest choice is to admit – as the IMF knows – that their Greek debts must be restructured. New loans for failed policies – the current joint creditor proposal – is, for them, no adjustment at all.

Closest I've ever been--which was pretty damn close--to a Mormon was a young guy struggling to stay clean of heroin and always keeping in touch with his sis and parents, who managed to stay together (don't know if it was a good idea, just sayin') even after his dad came out as a gay man. All Mormons still. The "faith" doesn't have to get in the way was the lesson I took away from that. And I've seen the same sort of thing in the Jehova's Witness community. I'm an athiest for sure . . . but those folk fucking impressed me again and again.

What's USA's pension payments compared to our GDP? What's our real unemployment numbers, how much is each state behind in pension promises? How much does each State give to food stamps? Disability?
Name me one State that's not in the Red because of pensions, lack of work or just plain mis-management? Don't forget about Puerto Rico,, they are truly screwed.

I hate to say it, but that includes our military as well. As a veteran of 8 years I can say that if kids had a choice to go to college or have a job, the military would be last on anyone's list out of high school. I say all recruiters should be tarred and feathered.
If a local, state, or federal governmnet makes a contractual agreement with employees to include pension as part of benefits, alongside wages and health insurance, and then misappropriates the money and wastes it elsewhere, then the government is at fault and not the employee, certainly not the pensioner!
Pension as compensation for work IS NOT "living off the government". It is the government living off the employee and off the pensioners.
Prosecute the government criminals, not the workers and retirees.

The greek debt is probably odious
One thing that is missing for the debate is the nature of debt in that
originally the greeks issued the debt to the free market. ie so the greeks issued the debt at market interest rate and the buyers go the interest with the understanding they had no control of the greek Govt spending ect.. and with the subsequent risk.
When the Greek debt begain to find it difficult to roll over / find buyers it was correct that the debt was restructured (or the other choice ECB could have bought a large part and made perpetual bond paying interest back to the greeks like FED/BOJ/BOE and now ECB)
But since they restrucutred it should have all been restructured (private and public) and then the greeks could have issued bonds again after the proper restructure.
ie the problem and I would say illigal nature of the TRIOKA is they used their ownership of the greek debt (public secotr) to gain control of greek finance and govt spending ect..when they had no right to. And thus they have done a poor job (25% contraction in 5ys) and I think have no real claim to the greeks as the debt is odious,
Why is the debt odious, because its not traded in the free market. it was not restructed or monetized (which still occurs in free market) it was taken off market and presented as a controling loan ..with specific reqirements (tax changes/ pension cuts ) which free market bond holders have no right to implement.
ie if its left to the market the greeks will not be allowed to borrow unless they get their finances in order and attract buyers by showing the can pay the interest back.. and if they do find buyers but cant pay interest they will defsult again (but within the context of the market and correct people losing moeny ie investors that had the chance to benift.
But in the currect case the greek people are being forced to pay the debt that it just cant meet and the loans are not marketable.. so they and not being written off in the market. ie if we stopped with the central bank intervention bonds wold follow market prices and the selling off of bonds ie the repricing and that higher yiled forces govts to balance budgts and not create excessive debts.. and if they do create too much debt they are forced to restructure / write off excessive debt which again forces proper fiscal management.. or move to new system (increase money supply for excessive budget spending instead of debt issuance, with the inflationary consequense limiting the spending.
in sum... the govts can pay these debts if they let the market work it would force the to restructe or adjsut the system to a fairer model that maybe increase money supply instead of creating debt burden.

Too large amount of tax revenue has to go to interest and old principal ..which creates poverty and inequality because if you are rich and own large assets you dont worry about large income/consumption tax .. because you have the assets.
If you are poor you never get a chance to get assets because you are paying huge amount of income/consumpntion tax and the rest.. and to make it worse the QE is increasing the prices of the assets. so high tax and high asset prices..
So restructure the debt.. (get rid of it) replace it with increase in money supply.. thsi will be very inflationary for assets, so raise rates.. so that a chunck of the new moeny gets left on deposit at banks to avoid chaotic asset prices rise..and then do a balance budget low tax (low or no income tax/ low consunption tax.. low property tax ect.. with a incrased moeny supply regime limited by inflationary impact .. system,
and then the economy will truly boom after the adjustment faze.

That's a pretty astute introduction by Pilger. It's a shame in the last two decades he hasn't focused on the monetary system rather than being a leftie fuckwit.

However, what has changed is progress in physical science, enabling the technologies to become trillions of times more powerful and capable, which has resulted in civilization being controlled by being able to back up lies with violence becoming psychotic criminal insanity.
In my opinion, the implicit problem hidden within the way that an article like the one above presents the issues is that it does NOT address the deeper reasons for how and why natural selection pressures drove the development of the kinds of social pyramid systems that exist now, whereby the combined money/murder systems are based upon the maximum possible frauds and deceits.
Since there is nothing presented about the deeper reasons regarding how and why the social pyramid systems developed to be as they are, there is also nothing indicated about what might be realistic resolutions to those real problems. Articles like the one above continue to implicitly be controlled opposition as long as they do not propose better death control systems. There must be some death control systems, and there were good reasons for how and why the existing systems most successfully developed on the basis of the maximum possible deceits.
The only things that exist are the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies, and therefore, the only way to "see injustice stopped" would be to change those dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies.
Actually, there is never any "injustice." There is only the on-going conservation of energy, which is the source of our understanding of "justice." Realistic resolutions of the relative "injustice" would require the development of better death control systems. That is particularly imperative after the development of weapons of mass destruction have made the thousands of years of previous history of the human murder systems become runaway criminal insanities, that are psychotically out of touch with the realities regarding the power and capabilities of those weapons.

I had previously already watched the video embedded in the article War By Other Means by John Pilger, and I agreed with that, as well as with the similarly superficial presentation of the social facts regarding the existing combined money/murder systems, as presented in the article above. HOWEVER, I continue to assert that the only genuine solutions would require developing better combined money/murder systems, because the debt controls must still be backed by the death controls.
While that may be practically or politically impossible at the present time, nevertheless, the background situation is about how and why natural selection pressures drove the development of the social pyramid systems, which were based on being able to enforce frauds, as the most expedient sets of solutions to chronic political problems, which are inherent in the nature of life.
Articles like that above are quite correct, on the superficial level that they are presented. However, they continue to be a kind of controlled opposition, because they continue to presume upon the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals.

That is the problem with those who promote the view that there is some fundamental dichotomy between "justice" versus "injustice," and then, promote "justice" on the basis of that original mistake. Those kinds of impossible ideals actually make the opposite happen in the real world. Thinking like that, and recommending bogus "solutions" on that basis, is what the controlled opposition groups continue to do.
The only things that actually exist are the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. The only realistic solutions are to change those. The source of "Justice" is the principle of the conservation of energy. However, our civilization has developed to understand entropy in the most backward ways possible, and then that relates to how we also understand evil in the most backward way possible.
In my view, it is imperative to try to comprehend how BOTH the established core of organized crime, AND their controlled opposition groups, are made up of the best available professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. That is why the most publicly promoted "solutions" to our problems almost always have their mechanisms backwards, and therefore, continue to backfire badly in the real world.
Militarism is the supreme ideology, and it deserves to be. Militarism is the ideology of the murder system, which was the most important and obvious manifestation of the death control systems. Those then backed up the monetary system, so that the global monetary system is now based upon governments enforcing frauds by privately controlled banks. HOWEVER, the only genuine solutions are NOT to "see injustice stopped," but rather to perceive how there always was "justice" in the sense that there always was the conservation of energy.
The article above does not put itself through the paces of attempting to keep up with what has CHANGED, namely, progress in physical science, which has enabled the combined money/murder systems to become globalized electronic monkey money frauds, backed by the threat of force from apes with atomic bombs. Similarly, the article above then does not to put itself through the paces of attempting to reconcile political science with the progress made in physical science. Rather, the article above does the typical things that controlled opposition always tends to do, which is provide relatively good, but still superficial, analysis of the political problems, BUT, which continue to end up implicitly collapsing back to bogus "solutions" based on the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and related impossible ideals.
On the contrary, I promote the view that there is only one energy, and therefore, only one human system, which matches the principles and methods of organized crime, because the death controls systems are necessarily central to everything else. The big problem that the human species faces is progress in physical science, without progress in political science. The reasons for that are due to the history of successful warfare based on backing up deceits with destruction, morphing to become successful finance based upon enforcing frauds.
While what the article above stated was correct about the established systems becoming extremely unbalanced, and therefore, we may well wish to "see injustice stopped," it is NOT possible to stop human beings from being entropic pumps of energy flows, while it would be possible to change the ways that we perceive that. In particular, we perceive "entropy" backwards. Uranium is an energy source from previous solar systems, generations before the current system of the Sun. That could be compared to how fossil fuels are energy sources from the previous history of the Sun shining on Earth.

Roughly speaking, more than 99% of the energy that powers what happens on Earth is from the Sun, and the development of technologically based industrial revolutions have only marginally changed that, so far. I would also put my private view that time has nothing to do with space, and that time-space is another misunderstanding, in the same way dimensions are also simply an artifact of measurement and navigation.
In fact there is JUST space, and in JUST space there are no objects of reference to measure transit from A to B, in terms of 'time'. So time is not a feature of space, it is a word construct that could be better understood by seeing time as nothing more than dynamics. Indeed time is the measurement of dynamics.
So to have time make any sense you need space to pop out 'solids' from nothing, the continuum media, which is obviously not nothing, as it exhibits actual material properties and dynamics.
So you need space to make at least two of some particle critter, for relative scale and time to relate to anything within that Space.
Time in our case is merely a rotation and orbital phase divisions. i.e relative measurements being divided up.
And what is time measuring?
The relative dynamics of the solids produced from the continuum itself ... so it has no independent 'time' property, at all.
It is only the relative transient 'objects' that can be measured relatively, and thus be said to exhibit relative measurable 'time', as a period of correlation of interactions and distances of travel, or rotation, with respect to something else that space has popped out, as an expression of its dynamic continuum.
So yes, I think very differently about space.
And entropy is rendered a concept only, and not significant in an open continuum.
Likewise, time is a measurement of dynamics, only, and has not independent existence with space, and has thus been misconceived as a concept, thus confusing us to this day.
While space is both a mental concept, but also the only material physical thing that in fact exists or ever has or ever will, in its many forms of expression we see.
Human beings are merely space itself, and atoms also are space itself. It is the material properties and attributes of space that produce the 'solidity' of inelastic particle interactions, such as the inability for space to exceed speed 'c', with respect to itself, and any attempt to do so leads instantly to infinite impedance, and thus a reflection off of space itself, of all energy (wave) imparted to space, 180 degrees opposite to its former propagation direction, i.e. a simple reflection of waves off space infinite impedance to any speed tending to greater than c.
Hence the impedance of space at v=c becomes the emergence of the 'solidity' of all atoms, vibrating as standing waves at v=c. So if something pushes one, it can only reflect the imparted energy back, inelastically, which we perceive as hardness, and as material 'solidity' ... but of space!
Hence material physical solids from a media, that otherwise seems to not be there, until space is accelerated to v=c, whereupon all of a sudden it exhibits infinite impedance and lossless reflection of all inputs, and solidity is exhibited in the most real, impenetrable and material way.
Hence solids are also merely relatively moving space, and nothing else, whatsoever.
Consequently it is space that produces mass, and not the particles. Mass and force are simply the emergent properties of the attributes of space itself, when space is locally distributed anisotropically (relative + to - of space with respect to its surrounding space).
Anisotropy thus produces what we call 'force', via relative anisotropy of adjacent areas of space. Thus there are not 4 'forces', just a relative anisotropy of space, at all scales, and its imparted equilibrium dynamics, and the relative flow of space towards equilibrium is never reachable, for space is also the origin of lossless inertia of itself.

I had never encountered the word "anisotropy" before.
Certainly, Element, you "think very differently about space!" I commend you on your ability to lay down rifts of transcendental poetry about space, especially with respect to when v=c.
Anisotropy is a fairly basic concept in materials and physical sciences, it's the difference in properties within a medium, like wood, concrete, rock, steel, gas, and now in 'space'. It is essentially some level of departure from the idealistic equilibrium condition, and is thus a gradient, as a 'field', in terms of application of space, and resulting 'force' gradient within that space. Space is on the largest scale optically isotropic, i.e. it NETS to average same physical property values in every direction, over cosmic distances, thus space is rendered optically 'flat' over those long distances as a result. Except for the visible anisotropy, in for instance, a gravitational lens smearing background galaxies, via the mass of foreground galaxy's matter affect, creating anisotropy within the space surrounding the foreground galaxy cluster.
Which background light lensing is indicating that the matter present in the foreground, or mid-depth distance, is changing the distribution of space, to a non-flat, non-isotropic, thus more anisotropic, so that the light passes through more anisotropic space during the photon's passage close to the galaxy cluster's imparted space anisotropy.
In other words, the anisotropy's effects of lensing light, overprints the light received, even though the overall intervening space averages to isotropic and optically flat.
So anisotropy is local, yes, but the effects are still visible across cosmic distance, via the overprinting lensing affect/outcome in observation. Hence gravity is not one of four presumed separate forces, it is just the long-range imparted anisotropy to affect imparted at cosmic distances, of an elastically deforming intervening space.
Pull an elastic band and it pulls back against your fingers. Well the still not as yet NETTED-out anisotropy of infinitely elastic space is exhibited as a "weak" long-range force, or what we call 'gravity'. So gravity and all force is in fact just the anisotropy of a unitary continuum with real physical properties, not mere theoretical ones. Thus the force gets even stronger as the anisotropy gradient away from isotropy becomes more and more localized, i.e as in the case of close proximity to particle at v=c.
So space anisotropy, is gravity, generating 'lensing' of light passing though 'curved' space, on the large scale. Well that 'curve' is not mysterious, it is simply the anisotropy gradient itself. The photon follows the gradient.
And on the very small scale of particles, localized, I mean very local, anisotropy, results in the observed interference fringes of slit experiments.
Why?
Science does not know. But it is VERY simple and naturally emerges, because the slit is ALSO space, it is not empty, it has a very steep gradient in that space, due to the matter either side in of the atomic molecular slit material, and that very imparted anisotropy is affecting the space itself, between the slit walls.
In other words, there is inevitably a very steep gradient in the 'space' of the slit, even in any high to near perfect vacuum, so the slit will act as a ... LENS! ... so the lensing generating the observed interference fringe is exactly the same anisotropy source that produces the gravitational LENS on the galactic cluster scale, and also propagates the 'force' of gravity over cosmic distance.
Same 'force' and lensing diffraction mechanism, on all scales! Same space. Same gradient. Just a different scale, of the same unitary mechanism, or rather, continuum 'medium'.

As a result of the steeper gradient in space, the smaller a particle is, then predictably, the more disturbing to space's infinite elastic isotropy it becomes, i.e. the anisotropy gradient will be extremely sharp and strongest against the particle itself, hence the 'force' of the anisotropy gradient is very short-range, as well, for the particle standing-waves.
But it is the anisotropy responsible for both gravity and for the weak and strong nuclear 'forces', and EM 'force'. As a result, the smaller the particle or photon is, i.e. the higher its frequency, then the higher will be its energy be cause smaller = steeper gradient of the anisotropy.
In other words, energy of the particle is proportional to the steepness of the anisotropy gradient, in space. Or put another way, the energy that can be released is proportional to the amount of disturbance the particle imparts to space, at v=c, to the immediately surrounding lossless elastic of that space. The gradient is of stretched or compressed infinite elasticity.
Hence a low frequency HF radio wave in that space is a low-energy wave form,simply because the gradient it imparts is far more spread out, but for a gamma-ray photon, of the very same EM radiation, its proportionately more energetic, as frequency gets shorter, as the area of space affected is very much smaller. So the same packet, or quantum of space anisotropy is being squeezed into a smaller area, so it has to deform the elasticity of space more steeply over a shorter range. So the smaller it gets, the stronger will be the elastic energy of the deformation of space, as anisotropy.
So anisotropy of the disturbed adjacent elastic space, away from its background isotropy, explains the increasing energy with decreasing particle size paradox as well.
As you can see the anisotropy in the local continuum is a very powerful tool for comprehending how the entire thing works as unitary and continuous, and for materially physically determining what the specific properties of such a material space, behaving in that way, are, and must be. And entirely amenable to quantification and modelling, of course.
Once you grasp that a 'virtual particle' is just a part of the space elastic, bounding, and rebounding, in and out, as a spherical standing wave, in and of space itself, moving at v=c, which is the maximum deformation rate of space, thus the limiting speed of space field propagation. The understanding of this comes very quickly once you realise that, and is automatically obvious what's occurring to produce phenomena.
If isotropy = 0
- anisotropy is space moving outwards (rarefied, by tension - space is stretching within the area of that sphere of space)
+ anisotropy is space moving inwards (compressed, by stress - space is rebounding to higher density within that sphere of space )
Because it is a lossless elastic that is oscillating, moving at v=c, means it will remain a perpetual (i.e. conserved) standing wave in space. Its energy can not be destroyed, only transferred. That movement, in a space that has mass, is the "energy of space" itself.
Which is what everyone is currently looking for, astronomically and cosmologically. But they don't detect it optically, because it is actually space that has that mass and that energy.
Remember that before "dark matter", it was simply called the "missing mass". Well it is not matter, it is in fact just mass, distributed isotropically, and as a result space also is the repository of all energy.
OK, how then?
As you have said, we HAVE to look at space totally differently, we have not understood that the optical matter is also JUST space, and that there is in fact no independent 'matter' there at all, it IS space, and the mass is not the 'matter' at all, for even empty space with no matter has mass, expressed by its anisotropy departure from isotropy. Thus matter is simply the standing waves of space at v=c.
No 'matter' exists, just another form of standing 'solid' inelastic reflecting anisotropy, at v=c.
So in other words, if all the anisotropy was gone, all mass, and all energy, and all 'force', would be instantly gone as well, existence would cease, but space would not, only its movement has ceased.
Thus the visible cosmos we see is simply space moving, the movement is the anisotropy in action, and that movement dynamics we measure with the tools of time and relative distance via coordinate systems.
But space itself has ZERO physical dimensions if it is not moving. So 'dimensions' are an artifact of the memes being used, and not of space itself.
Matter and energy only emerge as a bi-product of the dynamics of the imparted anisotropy gradients.
But given space is lossless, that anisotropy can never cease being present. Hence perfect lossless conservation is implied.
As a result, 'entropy' is a human misconception, not a cosmic feature. It was borne of a lack of understanding that the mater and energy are the dynamics of space moving at v=c (it's maximum achievable deformation speed with respect to itself and its own inability to deform any faster without creating a shower of photons and particles with the excess acceleration of the medium).

Space does the same thing at v=c, as it can not accept any acceleration or anisotropy deformation rate, above c, and any further input is always reflected off in the opposite direction, and a shower of photons and particles will be created ... from apparently nothing .. but that nothing is the deformed elastic energy of space, snapping back towards approximate isotropy.
So entropy is irrelevant as the infinitely connected elastic continuum transfers and redistributes the anisotropic gradient (i.e space seeks to redistribute back to isotropy, which is a dynamic equilibrium, much as an elastic band wishes to release its tension and reach a non-tensioned rest-state). part of that redistribution agent or mechanism is 'gravity', which is the elevated elasticity gradient being propagated over cosmic distances.
The attraction force of gravity is thus simply the elastic pulling centers of the space anisotropy towards each other, thus gravity between galaxies through the intervening space (i.e. no blasted theoretical gravitons required, as the force is material, continuous and direct, with no more endless division of space into separate objective things with no connections - that is and will remain a dead-end).
So the local entropy is receiving imparted elastic energy increase, as gravity (anisotropy rise), from the 'external' open source, all around it, at even cosmic distance.
Now get this:
As it's a lossless infinitely elastic substance, and it 'expands', then the tension of space and elastic energy of space, everywhere, will rise as it expands. Thus a continuous net energy rise in the cosmos, it will not fall due to the entropic processing of galaxy's matter. In other words, it will renew itself from the rising elastic energy, any time a part of space is accelerated and tends to exceed v=c.
i.e. a shower of new photons and particles will result at that point from the reflection of the excess acceleration energy, imparted to space's local gradient, by elastic tension rise, from the expansion. Which is a way of saying, the more space is disturbed, the more photons and particles it can and will generate, to replace the entropy to longer wavelengths.
So if expansion increases the anisotropy gradient on a cosmic scale, then the excess energy will keep generating new light, and new matter particles, as the old light and matter stretch out to lower frequency, via entropy.
Hence the real cause of the Cosmic Background Radiation (CBR).
i.e. the explanation of the CBR is implicit in the model, and the implications of the physical space observations.
So you see, the implications and the naturally-emerging explanations of a broad range of observed physical phenomena take place easily via this way of viewing space at all scales. It is endless and it is profoundly 'elegant' (if that is deemed a necessary pre-requisite of science).
There is JUST space.
There is nothing else - at all - and once you get your head around that, and approach it strictly physically, as a real material space, with actual physical material medium properties, it all falls into place, easily and quickly. Just try physically explaining the double-slit interference fringe results in any other way. You can't, and no one has, but they emerge naturally from space being literally everything.
And that is what 'science' still has not got to, namely, a comprehensive understanding of space as everything, and explaining every observed phenomena consistently, with zero exceptions, within terms of anisotropic variations of space, on all scales, and a total absence of finite in this material open cosmos, of which life is one of the emergent integral implications of that physics.

What I don't get, is that a "gigantic" amount is due this year, 29 bil, then it's like 5 in '16, 7 in '17 and just 3ish in '18. Couldn't it just be spread out a little over the next few years and maybe lift some of the austerity a tad after GDP boosts with the Russian type deals and some China hookups from the new silk road coming in?
This all just seems so weird and forced. Like people playing Russian Roullete just for the heck of it. Greece apparently wants to stay in the EU, but also wants to probably default, if they don't default, they will pretty much always have a lot of crushing debt unless they can really boost GDP and the public would probably revolt since it's already kinda bad. It seems like it's all set up for them to join up with Russia/China and then eventually some of the rest of the EU over the next say decade.
