Ukraine’s President Poroshenko Admits Overthrow Of Yanukovych Was A Coup

Ukraine’s Pres. Poroshenko Says Overthrow of Yanukovych Was a Coup
Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko requests the supreme court of Ukraine to declare that his predecessor, Viktor Yanukovych, was overthrown by an illegal operation; in other words, that the post-Yanukovych government, including Poroshenko’s own Presidency, came into power from a coup, not from something democratic, not from any authentic constitutional process at all.
In a remarkable document, which is not posted at the English version of the website of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, but which is widely reported outside the United States, including Russia, Poroshenko, in Ukrainian (not in English), has petitioned the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (as it is being widely quoted in English):
"I ask the court to acknowledge that the law ‘on the removal of the presidential title from Viktor Yanukovych' as unconstitutional.”
The official Ukrainian news-agency, Interfax-Ukraine, headlined this on June 20th, "Poroshenko asking Constitutional Court to recognize law stripping Yanukovych of presidential title as unconstitutional"
I had previously reported, and here will excerpt, Poroshenko’s having himself admitted prior to 26 February 2014, to the EU’s investigator, and right after the February 22nd overthrow of Yanukovych, that the overthrow was a coup, and that it was even a false-flag operation, in which the snipers, who were dressed as if they were Ukrainian Security Bureau troops, were actually not, and that, as the EU’s investigator put his finding to the EU’s chief of foreign affairs Catherine Ashton [and with my explanatory annotations here]:
"the same oligarch [Poroshenko — and so when he became President he already knew this] told that well, all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers, from both sides, among policemen and people from the streets, [this will shock Ashton, who had just said that Yanukovych had masterminded the killings] that they were the same snipers, killing people from both sides [so, Poroshenko himself knows that his regime is based on a false-flag U.S.-controlled coup d’etat against his predecessor]. ... Behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovych, but it was somebody from the new coalition.”
This was when Ashton first learned that the myth that Yanukovych had been overthrown as a result of public outrage at his having rejected the EU’s offer of membership to Ukraine was just a hoax. (Actually, the planning for this coup was already under way in the U.S. Embassy by at least early 2013, well prior to Yanukovych’s EU decision. Furthermore, the Ukrainian public’s approval of the government peaked right after Yanukovych announced his rejection of the EU’s offer, but then the U.S.-engineered “Maidan” riots caused that approval to plunge.)
If the Court grants Poroshenko’s petition, then the appointment of Arseniy Yatsenyuk by the U.S. State Department’s Victoria Nuland on 4 February 2014, which was confirmed by the Ukrainian parliament (or Rada) at the end of the coup on February 26th, and the other appointments which were made, including that of Oleksandr Turchynov to fill in for Yanukovych as caretaker President until one of the junta’s chosen candidates would be ‘elected’ on May 25th of 2014, which ‘election’ Poroshenko won — all of this was illegal.
However, this illegality had already been known. It was already explained in detail on 28 February 2014, that, “Yanukovych’s removal was unconstitutional.” That’s for lawyers; but, now, finally, Ukraine’s Constitutional Court is faced with the shocking predicament of Ukraine’s own President, who won his post as a result of this coup, requesting them to “acknowledge” that it was a coup, much as the founder of the "private CIA" firm Stratfor had even called it, “the most blatant coup in history.” (It was that because the authentic video and other evidence of its having been a Washington job was so massive.)
Also in the news now is that Dmitriy Yarosh's Right Sector — the same group that Washington had hired for the coup and for the ethnic cleansing campaign in Ukraine’s former Donbass region — have announced that they will assemble in Kiev on July 3rd to overthrow Petroshenko unless he restarts right now the war against Donbass. The people whom Washington paid to oust Yanukovych are planning to do the same to Poroshenko. There is a struggle inside the Obama Administration about how far they can successfully go with their Ukrainian nazis not formally leading the country. Washington is having a hard time keeping in line the Ukrainian nazis upon whom Washington’s plan for Ukraine has been based. Ukraine’s nazis are thirsting for Russian blood, and want to slake their thirst faster than the Obama Administration is willing to go along with. Washington’s previous “F—k the EU!” hasn’t worked as well as they had hoped. There is thus increasingly bad blood between the Obama Administration and the Ukrainian enforcers upon whom Obama has been relying. Basically, Poroshenko now is torn between the EU, on one side, and Ukraine’s well-armed nazis, on the other; and, thus far, the ultimate decider, U.S. President Obama, who has needed cooperation both from Ukraine’s nazis and from the EU, in order for his Ukrainian gambit against Russia to work, is on the fence between those two sides. John Kerry sides with the EU; Victoria Nuland sides with the nazis. But Obama himself hasn’t yet played his hand.

I will try to put it to you in a simple English - but my expectations are low. The President of Ukraine asks the Supreme Court to validate that the impeachment of Yanukovich was constitutional. That's all. I am not Ukrainian and not even fun of Poroshenko but if I were him I would have done exactly the same thing - given the never ending propaganda of lies from the Kremlin.

One of the most sophomoric memes promoted by the western pressitude media is that Viktor Yanukovych was scared away by the people’s wrath. Anyone with half a functional brain realizes that elected Presidents don't just run away. Could you imagine Obama hiding in Canada because the 'people' frightened him out of office? Yet this is the line of BS that the State Department was promoting.
Yanukovych left because his life was threatened after his government was overthrown, full stop. The process for impeaching a president was not followed, and the subsequent coup destroyed the constitutional order of the Ukraine. That is in part why Crimea voted to leave the Ukraine, and the Donbass revolted.
Porkyschenko, worried about his own neck, is now admitting the truth of the illegal coup. He hopes to block his removal from office by similar illegal means.
But if it was truly illegal, he would have no right to be president now, right?
If he still considers Yanukovich the legitimate president, he should peacefully return power to him.

Something is happening in Ukraine. We as Americans have little access to facts on the ground. But the sources I read, both Russian, Donbass and Ukrainian are saying something big is coming. The offensive the Kiev Junta was planning on Donbass has been cancelled due to lack of Army morale. Thus the Nazi battalions have threatened to oust the president and attack Donetsk under a new coup leader.
Actually, I hope the Nazis do attack in force. Because hell is waiting for them in Donetsk. The rebels have grown into an army, they now have arms and trained up over the winter. They are itching to kick the fucking shit out of Nazis! Putin and Minsk 2 prevent the rebels from fighting, other than to defend the lines. When Nazis go all in, the rebels will give them what the deserve.
I saw the big bulge west toward Debtsalvo for over a month wondering why the rebels didn't do a classic pincer movement and trap the Ukie army. Finaly they did and it was a disaster for the Ukraine. The Western press never reported the full scale of what occured. A third of the Ukrainian army was captured or put out of action.
I doubt if the Ukie army will ever go on a real offensive again. Their advisors are total retards.

First, some background info on Ukrainian state affairs:
Government personnel in Ukraine have ranks, more or less like in a military. Rank does not imply higher commanding position, mostly it has everything to do with the time served in office. According to Ukrainian Constitution, all former presidents, after they have finished their term as president, retain the rank of "President of Ukraine" for life. That rank entitles former presidents to various services (like bodyguards) and pension on state's account.
This is what really happened:
1. Ukrainian parliament, The Rada, passed a law, stripping away Yanukovich of rank of "President of Ukraine", indirectly stripping him of various services and allowances.
2. Poroshenko, being the president, thought, "Well, this can happen to me too!"
3. Now, he could have vetoed the law, but that would make him look like he supported Yanukovich.
4. So, he signed the law, but put it into review by the Constitutional Court, so that he could not be blamed afterwards.

I'll for the moment just note as someone who used to work for a major East Coast newspaper {nothing very sexy} and has long read comments -never before have I see such a concerted effort to label -let's say "dissenters" from the government/MSM narrative, as "Russian trolls."
I noted yesterday, and it was off topic, which maybe I shouldn't do {?} that the NY Times most recent Putin bashing editorial {bear in mind the writers are not experts in any sense, nor are they especially bright, though clearly inteligent} had comments that ran so thick with "I see Kremlin trolls are here.." type remarks, that they were present in around a third of the fraction of comments I read.
Now, we don't see the comments they don't publish: here's a business idea for some enterprising boy or girl: a website with unmmoderated {but space limited} comments - to all the major stories in the Times - just a link to their story and content, and comments below.

This shrill acusation is so heavy and so similar in the terminology {and sure, Russia, like the US and Israel and UK likely does have people paid to comment} it suggests to me either a project of the State Department and/or a neocon "think tank" like JINSA or Brookings or take your pick.
Such a tactic is one of desperation. A broad brush, largely ineffective attempt to create a false binary such that the neocon/NYT narrative is true hence all others are false. It's a sign, I think, that people, especially younger people who grew up getting news from multiple sources, are rejecting the neocon narrative - even if they don't necessarily entirely buy its direct opposite.
More simply, American aggression and violence is hard to hide. The lies of Iraq are hard to hide. The neocon role in those lies - impossible to hide.
And it may well be that the Russian 'version' has the considerable benefit of being more true, i.e. less *false* than the neocon one. The drive for a unipolar world, and the bloodshed and popular deception that requires is patently a US/UK/Israeli project.
The neocon narrative is unravelling. I can see it even if the MSM keeps regurgitating the same agitprop.
And they know it. They're losing younger people.

The difference between a Coup and a Revolution is all in the alignment of the viewer.
I don't think the Western Ukrainians were very happy aligned with the East, and had long felt closer to the West. I think the Eastern Ukrainians felt the opposite.
I don't think it is appropriate to attribute such a coup/revolution entirely to a foreign power, when the foreign powers contribute primarily moral support and advice for the simple reason that to do so would make all coups/revolutions attributable to foreign powers.
When revolutionaries in a country approach a foreign government, the foreign government is going to be thinking about relations if the revolutionaries succeed. They will express preferences for one group of conspirators over another, etc. They will almost never turn the conspirators over to the local police, firstly because it would completely sour relations if the revolutionaries were subsequently successful...
...Incidentally, that is exactly what happened between the bolsheviks and the West in 1914-1918. They turned Lenin in several times, and even helped the Tsar militarily...and subsequently were named the mortal enemies of the USSR once it came to power.

Imagine yourself leading a flight of Ukrainian Army transport planes to wherever the gold is, after announcing that you are coming to reclaim Ukraine's gold, to return it to Ukraine, where the whole world knows it belongs. No missiles. No jet fighters. No bombers. No threats. Just transports with you and enough Ukrainian soldiers to ensure the physical safety of Ukraine's gold while you bring it back home to your Ukrainian people.
