Hope springs eternal. Reality just continues.
Greece must have an Obama in the background spewing "Hope and Change".
Nah, they just have a gangbong in the backyard, where everybody can get a hit from the hopium-head anytime it seems necessary ....
Hope & Feta makes you feel better!
As Frank Zappa once said,
"Everything's clean and it can't happen here"
He also said this: Same thing Bernanke told anyone shorting the "markets".
I'm gonna ram it, ram it, ram it
Ram it up yer poop chute
Corn hole
I hope the nabobs in the eurocracy can inside trade just like our political hacks did in the 07-08 debacle, It would be the first time they actually created wealth since the start of the Euro! Which way is Mario positioned now?
Evidently HOPE is a strategy. How else can you explain how in the fuck we got the idiot we have in the White House.
It's the same strategy the passengers of the Titanic had and look how well that worked out......
the only one that gets excited from greecei is Zh
11 million people live in greece
EU got what it had to have. Russia got what it had to have and Greece is the new Poland of the newest
Molotov-Ribbentrop Agreement.Wow! Look how Ribbentrop deteriorated. Shocking!
who cares about "people" dimwit. The banks count
Greece is bankrupt! Roughly the same population as Ohio or Illinois. Imagine either of those states was bankrupt. No wait, I don't have too....
Illinois is bankrupt. It just doesn't admit iit.
The same as Greece.
Extend and pretend.
Just goes to show us how much of a casino this really is...
Hope, faith, prayer: Three absolutely useless-yet-overused words in the English language.
Hope, faith, prayer: Three absolutely useless-yet-overused words...
I respectfully disagree. These are completely valid, useful and important terms regardless of the language they're found in. However, they are completely irrelevant when used in the context of government and commerce, or as relevent as the intrusion of religion in the business of the state or market. (However, there is one term that is useful in both realms, trust.)
Religious concepts are necessary to the human condition but they need to be seperated from the funcition of the state, i.e. administration of justice, coining of money, etc. as much as the state needs to butt out of the affairs of worship.
jmo.
I disagree completely that religious concepts are necessary to the human condition. If replaced with logic, reason, and rational thought, they could be rendered completely useless. Which, they already are.
The USSR and in fact the Third Reich were proponents of logic, reason, and rational thought. The hallmark of communism is rational thought. Just like then, so called rational thought can and is perverted by the Party...the State based on ideology or rank lust for power.
What a joke.
A mighty miserable one, I'd say ... and old, soo old ...
As laughable as the situation has become, it's just not the kind of humor I'm in the mood for right now.
Welcome to the circus!
The Potempkin village known as Greece, has had it's daily Gruel rations restored so all is well. It's Unicorns and rainbows from here on out.
MAYBE WE NEED TO LOOK INTO MORGAN STANLEY DELINGS LATELY?
"Europeans raise hopes of Greek deal within 48 hours as Tsipras forced to swallow austerity"
"Leftist government submits to plans to hike taxes and reform pensions as EU leaders aim to finalise deal by Thursday"
Like I said in previous posts, too much at stake for "EU integrity" to let Greece out of the Euro especially if Greece would be able to actually turn things around by en exit. That would only encourage the next problem child to do the same.
too much at stake for EU integrity, ie: the bankers. Exactly, I just posted the same thing on the "IMF spoils the party" article. It is the bottom line to all of this. It isnt the money.
It's the Eurocrat controlled groundhog day.
Never ever let it fail. Just extend and pretend (lie).
Pattern of lower highs and lower lows still intact.
Did Draghi buy?
