What I found so disturbing in that Game Show, "Deal or No Deal" nobody ever made a counteroffer.

In fact I enjoyed that because I would sit and mentally calculated what briefcases were worth.

It seems as if no contestants were actually calculating value or expected returns.

During some times, at least once per contestant, the offer was advantageous for the contestant to take.
