Collapse, Part 4: Loss Of Faith In Public Institutions
Submitted by Charles Hugh-Smith of OfTwoMinds blog,
Public institutions are now devoted to serving their own vested interests or the interests of private financial Elites.
“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said in a news release. All in all, it’s a picture of a nation discouraged about its present and worried about its future, and highly doubtful that its institutions can pull America out of its trough.
The terms of the TPP and the TiSA are so secret that drafts of the negotiations are to remain classified for four years or five years, respectively, after the deals have been passed into law. How can laws be enforced against people and governments who are not allowed to know what was negotiated?
Americans increasingly believe that their country isn’t serving its own citizens. They need look no further than a bipartisan vote of Congress that will transfer congressional power to the Executive Branch and, in turn, to a transnational Pacific Union and the global interests who will help write its rules. The same routine plays out over and again. We are told a massive bill must be passed, all the business lobbyists and leaders tell how grand it will be, but that it must be rushed through before the voters spoil the plan. As with Obamacare, the politicians meet with the consultants to craft the talking points—not based on what the bill actually does, but what they hope people will believe it does. And when ordinary Americans who never asked for the plan, who don’t want the plan, who want no part of the plan, resist, they are scorned, mocked, and heaped with condescension.Washington broke arms and heads to get that 60th vote--not one to spare--to impose on the American people a plan which imperils their jobs, wages, and control over their own affairs. It is remarkable that so much energy has been expended on advancing the things Americans oppose, and preventing the things Americans want.

Zerohedge,
History will ask this question, when a breeze of thinair came and knocked on the doors of zerohedge, what did Tyler do? I have moved on .. and have knocked the doors of Ron Paul, David Stockman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Barack Obama - with the same question - what to do with the tenth? It is in the mailbox ... way down in their priority list... just like everyone they are running too... If no one is solving the problem then who will solve the tenth person problem? I know I will solve it ... just have to do it one step at a time .... one heart at a time ...
Meanwhile I need contact addresses for all the world leaders... How do I get it?
http://just-a-thought-from-thinair.blogspot.com/
World leaders? You mean the folks in Washington and NYC and City of London, right?
Yes, and remind me, when was the last time this "leadership" was actually held accountable?
Fortunately, it takes two to Tango and the Asian nations involved in TPP have a little more common sense and actually quite enjoy their national sovereignty and their own legal systems. Only Japan (Bankrupt and trying to screw China with currency depreciation) and The Philippines (Colony - Little brown Americans to other Asians) have signed on so far. SIngapore will probably also do so because of the huge Big Pharma investment using Singapore as a Tax haven and centre for transfer pricing raw materials. Other countries in Asia, as well as wishing to maintain their sovereignty also see the future as China and don't want to lock themselves into what they see as yesterday's news. Only when hell freezes over will countries like Indonesia, where I live, surrender to The US, despite the long (Largely artificial) animosity with China in political terms.
No shit. Precisely why China will never obtain reserve currency status. I have done business with the Chinese for years, their government enjoys the sovereignty of doing whatever the fuck they want.
Um, perhaps that might be why China is (Deliberately) excluded from TPP? It is, essentially, a Political play by The US to attempt to block China's influence in Eurasia as part of the long too late "Asian Pivot". Futile IMHO. I have also done business in Asia for over 40 years, in most countries with ethnic Chinese, whom I find to be tough business people but ultimately honest and very hard-working. Contracts not necessary when an Agreement is reached. Americans? Not so....
And, respectfully, I disagree with you about the Yuan. It will implicitly become backed by Gold, as opposed to a USD backed by nothing but Debt and Nukes, and It WILL become a reserve currency if not THE reserve currency. ALL trade within the new Eurasian/BRICS/Silk Road region will be done in Yuan/Rubles. That already displaces a shit load of Petrodollars?
Many forms of fiat are already "implicitly" backed by gold dipshit. (I can buy gold all over the world with many different forms of iat, so fucking what?) That doesn't mean that the different forms of fiat are being created at the same rate. Are you suggesting that the PBoC has stopped printing yuan? Evidence?
I love it when you talk dirty. Stick to physics.
Answer the question then or be recognized for the troll you are.
No doubt that the Chinese will be great customers in the future, but that is simply demographics.
Language and Content. I rest my case.
Thanks for confirming your troll status.
There is no point in arguing with fools. Especially fools who need to resort to bad language instead of logic to refute a point. Which is, actually, quite the opposite of the Laws of Physics where a hypothesis is established and either supported or rejected by observations.
Still dodging I see. Keep on trollin I guess. Yes, my hypothesis is that the peoples bank of China has been printing faster than anyone. ZH has present numerous data on this. Where's your data troll?
Just to correct the Laws of Grammar, "The Peoples' Bank of China has been printing faster than anyone. ZH has presented numerous data on this" There you go, fixed that for you......
Never?
Maybe Nixon, circa 1971, but held accountable for the wrong reasons. (spoiler: he defaulted on debt)
and every other city, town and district.. yes am forced to call them leaders... what choice do I have? I can use any other word but what difference will it make.
Is losing faith in the high priests really a bad thing? Isn't faith irrational? Is it the outsourcing of critical thinking?
Close down DC....make the new capitol Rapid City SD....we're got the cool statue there.
"Leaders"? A "Capitol"? what the fuck do we need those things for? The "Capitol" is the host of the pillaging system which robs the masses blind and uses their children for cannon fodder. "Leaders" and "Capitols" are instruments of evil.
Only dogs and slaves have masters.
8% for CONgress? Apparently they surveyed dead CONgress swine.
Define "public". Private equity has been getting a fucking public bailout for years motherfuckers.
It's all grift and theft now. Why you ask? No real rule of law, period. Just ask John Corzine. Sorry folks, moral hazard is a real motherfucker.
full on looting of whatever is left now. Almost like Rome being sacked. CON-GresZ is as bad or worse than Obola becaus ethey all work for the same z-oligarchs.
Be your own oligarch then, at least you would be being honest. Won't really matter as that which cannot be sustained, won't be.
A clip from season 2 episode 10 of The Island with Bear Grylls. In the span of this clip, an Englishman sums up feelings the people have for politicians. A MUST WATCH. Especially our British brothers. I will be spamming this until I feel it has received proper attention.

COLLAPSE.......................Started 1914 ......and has been on a tear since 1971
Collapse is like going broke..............slow at first ..............then all of a sudden
Yes, many of the underlying equations (and physical laws at work) are exponential.
The Constitution was written specifically to address concerns about distrust of powerful, unaccountable institutions. Sad that we now spit on it exactly when we need it the most.
So I read this news piece where Obama is heckled by a trans-gender illegal alien and El Presidente gets mad at him because it took place in "his" house which happened to be the white house. Well I start reading the comments in the forum and the first commentator reminded Zero that the white house belongs to the people. Well you should have seen how people jumped all over him and ridiculed him for that statement. When people are that stupid where they don't know it's supposed to be the people's government who serve us, we are beyond fucked.
They've won, Doc. We've crossed the Rubicon. No one stands in support of the Constitution because both sides now see it for what it is- the only obstacle left in their way. And they can see it's end from where they're sitting. They've almost beaten it. Yes, it's just being ignored right now, but soon it will be voided in it's entirety or simply bypassed by trans-national institutions (NWO). And it's death will be met with thunderous applause and loud cheers.
It was a good run while it lasted. I think we were the last generation to enjoy any real freedom in this country. Our kids are fucked.
This is not an endorsement but if Donald Trunp surged into the lead in the polls then these clowns are fucked.
And im talking black helicoptes, wet jobs...the whole nine yards.
America ain't for sweet talking pansies who blow shit out their ass.
I wish these folks the best of luck trying to find a place to hide too...and their families. "We have an App for that" now.
are you kidding me? if he starts talking like that during the primaries, diebold will make sure he never gets there; if he talks like that once while in office he will get a phone call or visit, he does it again and he's getting the JFK treatment from the CIA....oh, sorry, I mean some lone deranged person who had a temporary moment of MK insanity and wont ever remember pulling the trigger
Sadly I must agree with Dr. E and No Debt. Virtually everything that was warned against long ago is happening. Once the "system" has enough "mass" and "momentum" per se, the outcome just becomes guaranteed.
50% of the people do not believe anything Obama says and the New Democratic party of Bonier and McConell just handed himnew power to destroy the remainder of the US jobs to serve a few corporations. Of course Ibanma was chose becauser of his didian for America and his hate for Ameroca is now speadingf,. Divide and cinquhyer is the best canme for a tyrant. He is the number 1 problems in America, we need Trump!
Trump would make people work. Who the hell wants that?
Remember the funny commentor on ZH Trihump the Insult Dog? He should run for prez....
Then we'd have Trump and Trihump on the ballot, it would fool some folks into voting for Trihump.
IMHO Trump is part of the problem, not part of the solution...
What, you don't think the oligarch who made billions gaming the system for the last 40 years is going to save us?
Yeah, neither do I.
Where are you from .... I'm an armchair linguist ?
In fact, remember when there were funny people on ZH? Not just those reading from their scripts.
D'uh!
At least Tramp has had more bankruptcies than a whore changes her knickers in a year. Trump that MF'r.
Just to set the record straight, democracy is a a type of totalitarianism government. The difference being that instead of being ruled by the elites, you are ruled by the mob. And for the 20,000 time, we are supposed to be a representative republic by design, not a demonacracy.
Terrist.
Dr.
What exactly is wrong with the mob, the phallacy of a reperesentative republic is what got the USSA in this fascist state to begin with. Too few people too easily corrupted, at least the mob can't be corrupted, it's already the mob.
Yes, given that "our representatives" get it wrong every single time, it's time to give mobs a chance.

This should be it's own story at zh; see it at Drudge: "Reason Mag Editor Speaks Out -- How Feds asked me to rat out commentators"
How's a website, this, going to pay the bills? You can't eat rats can you? Especially if you're chosen. Eeeek gawd. Ohmy.
Has zh been asked to rat out commentators?
Lolz. Hello!!
I was hoping a Tyler might address the question.
Here's the link: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/06/25/how-the-feds-asked-me-t...
The main problem is that while the majority of the population "works" for dollars, gov'ts just print an endless supply. Work and money are no longer related.
Governments do? Oh really? Have you been sleeping in class little Sudzee?
Work and money? They print paper to steal your caloric energy, they then convert that back into gold and store it in Tel Aviv.
There is nothing federal about the federal reserve, and no, fed ex has notthing to do with .gov either.

You got it, apparently I need another cup of coffee.
The takeover really happened around 1861 and possibly even 1812. Abe Lincoln worked for the z-banksters. They wanted to plunder the South. It is pretty similiar to what their decendant lackeys like Nudelman are doing in the Ukraine. TPP is just more of their handiwork ak the z-oligarchs.
You nailed it. This company, which does not even make profit, has been driving out brick and mortar based businesses. Makes a case for anti-dumping.
actually starts with the intangible loss of faith in public institutions: elected officials, law enforcement, the justice system and the agencies of financial regulation (anti-trust, etc.).
No. It actually begins with the creation of those institutions. From Maclay's Journal, page 239 (http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/r?ammem/hlaw:@field%28DOCID+@lit%28m...):
Infatuated people that we are! The first thing done under our new Government was the creation of a vast number of offices and officers. A treasury delated into as many branches as interest could frame. A Secretary of War with a host of clerks; and above all a Secretary of State, and all these men labor in their several vocations. Hence we must have a mass of national debt to employ the Treasury, an army for fear the Department of War should lack employment. Foreign engagements, too, must be attended to to keep up the consequences of that Secretary. The next cry will be for an Admiralty. Give Knox his army, and he will soon have a war on hand; indeed, I am dearly of opinion that he is aiming at this even now, and that, few as the troops are that he now has under his direction, he will have a war in less than six months with the Southern Indians.
Many of the modern "public" institutions are simply doing the bidding of a select few private interests.

Take the time to understand it. It has some nice detailed legal twists.
Excellent work. Thank you. I've looked at some of the UCC and other references, but this was by far the best. I canned some and deeply read other parts. It's been bookmarked and will be re-read and offered to others so inclided and myself.
Thank you again and I recommend it as required reading for anyone who has "had enough."
Per aspera ad astra.
UCC
Do you really think that this will continue that much longer, to where someone can obtain a comprehensive and functional understanding of the UCC in order to seek remidies?
I am not an attorney. Unfortunately the lawyers are licensed by the State and are recognized as "Officers of the Court" so do not expect assistance from them.
Hey Tom,
I have noticed that sometimes you are very pessimistic. Come on bro. Still, you did not answer my question from yesterday.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-06-24/pentagon-brands-belligerent-jou...
I think that we need to consider whether there has been an intentional effort to divide people from their government and the government from the people and where this effort is coming from.
We can see that there has been an effort to distance police and the people. The police have been militarized and the media, especially the alternative media, has been publishing every opportunity to put the police into a bad light ... even to the point of creating false events.
Similarly, there has been an effort to corrupt our politicians/government and to make them look like corrupt idiots who are slaves to some other power and not reportable to the people. Again, though, this corruption and influence is coming from an outside source.
Ideally, the people and their government should come together, forgive each other for past sins and then together address the source of the corruption.
Interestingly enough, our household received a call, from a survey company, a couple of days ago where the only thing the asked is: Is the country doing fine or is it in a spiral down? They only want to further question people who believe the country is spiraling down. Somebody commissioned that survey ... probably wanting to know if their diabolical plan is being successful.
Draw you own parallels.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_Republican_Army_(1922–69)
So U.S. politicians are corrupt and completely for sale.
We have known that for years.
But what are you going to do about it? There is nothing you can do.
Just like each one of us even they have to deal with the same problem ... "what if I become the tenth person?" they are human too. isn't it always about "we the people"?
It is combination of that backed by threats by Deep State. Maybe a few Congressman or women get in there hoping to do some good.
Probably by the end of the first week they are told what to do. Play ball and you will become rich or don't go along and be ruined or killed. Or one of your kids are killed or ruined.
By the time they get to the Senate, they are so compromised. Many of these people are lawyers and the whole legal system is based on corruption and illegality.
A lawyer once told a friend of mine who wante dto be a lawyer that a law degree/license is a license to steal.
Wrong. There is plenty you can do, but people so far have done nothing.
If you accept the principal that 'LIFE IS CHEAP'
You can answer questions that puzzled me for years. How could we slaughter so many ?. When the very same institutions who laud the principal of life 'thou shall not kill' go on a killing spree !.
The elites understand that 'life is cheap' and spend it 'life' as they creat 'Fiat currency'. I no longer have angst, I just accept that life is cheap
A call to arms, not to murder, but for defense against big bro.
DC, Obama, Et Al, leave the world in peace, do the honorable thing and the world a favor. Do the Jim Jones dance for us.
Unfortunately the best thing for freedom might be the collapse of fiat.
Again (not here but I've made this point on ZH a few times prior), it's not so much that the "institutions" themselves are acting in distinctly different ways thatn they did a few decades ago...it's that the "memory hole" they relied on to secure and maintain legitimacy (through MSM perception management largely) is/has vanaished. Think about it...they could have released all these documents 20 years ago on these corporatist trade deals and said "we are transparent and this is all for your own good" (think NAFTA) and people would have just believed it as it made them feel better to do so. They didn't have some "problem child" friend posting stuff on their pages about how bad this stuff is then because that person couldn't get access to enough info or had the comm reach they do today. And while cognitive dissonence is still desired by the majority of the population, it's harder and harder to maintain against the constant barage of competing narratives.
The Internet, like the printing press nearly 500 years ago, is challenging the monopoly on information and communication and thus causing a crisis of legitimacy that can't really be rolled back. They can try crishing it with force, but that generally won't work over the long haul and increasing the loss of legitimacy actually. So think about it...printing press--split in Christian Church---literacy explodes---free markets explode---Europe colonizes half the planet and the Enlightenment manifests---natural rights are idealized---refugees from the Reformation populate the western hemisphere---the planet is reorganized politically from monarhies and kingdoms in to nation states. All of that happens because of the loss of legitimacy which all happened because of decentralized information and communication.
What we call collapse for ruling class is expression of inevitable historic process which we grunts may never be able to comprehend.
This is mental. We need to know those elites, our enemies who want to exterminate us for so called "greater good".
Every society consist of elite, a group of interbred families, that after brutally exterminated their opponents convinced themselves that it is their prerogative to control the filthy animalistic masses, immoral abominations of humanity as they deeply believe, and their role is to become an absolute moral arbiters and life and death decision makers.
They believe this is their solemn duty, a burden they must carry painful sacrifice they must accept for higher good of civilization. In their obviously sick minds it is all about moral order, good and evil, absolute truths and absolute values, noble ideas, incomprehensible to those who don’t belong.
Their law is their will and their morality is their need of a moment, all other considerations rescinded.
The conspiracy in common meaning it is not, since they have no specific plan of action or even specific ultimate objective to be achieved, short of holding onto power and expand limits of control by whatever means available.
What they have are methods and techniques of manipulating population of other casts or classes via propaganda of economic development, political process, law, religion, nationalism, racism and in cases when it fails raw brutality as ultimate expression of their power.
Sadly as history teaches it is not about overthrowing the ruling elite and replacing it with another. We need deeper change of the whole regime and social stratification.
We need true alternatives perhaps such as I found at:
https://contrarianopinion.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/regime-change-we-can-...
Yes scatha, ruling classes are based having "brutally exterminated their opponents"
They are not good at anything else than being dishonest and backing that up with violence, because those are abilities that matter in the short-term, in ways which wipe out any other possible longer-term considerations or options, since the means become the ends. Short-term success based on backing up deceits with destruction becomes the longer-term success of enforcing frauds, which is the FOUNDATION.
ENFORCED FRAUD FOUNDATIONS are the source of the collapse, but also, were the source of everything that previously was able to be built on those foundations, by each short-term increment of being able to back up lies with violence, becoming legalized lies backed with legalized violence, with things like international treaties being legalized treason.
However, scatha, it is currently not possible to have "rational" public debates about those issues, because that would take going through profound paradigm shifts, that the vast majority of people are not interested in going through. Indeed, there is no doubt that the article you linked was correct when it stated:
That article you linked starts off saying:
Of course, that is correct too, but that "profound change" goes WAY DEEPER, into the dominant natural languages and philosophy of science that people use to think with and communicate through.
In that context, I like to quote from another author who gets republished on Zero Hedge:
"The absolute best controlled opposition is
one that doesn't know they are controlled."
-- Cognitive Dissonance
The articles from Hugh-Smith, as well as that you linked, scatha, are still basically forms of controlled opposition, which continue to be based upon the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and impossible ideals. Rather, there is nothing but the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. The original source was that EVERYONE HAS SOME POWER TO ROB, AND POWER TO KILL TO BACK UP THAT POWER TO ROB. Governments assembled and channeled that power, while those who were the best at doing that effectively controlled those governments. At the same time, those who were the best at being dishonest and backing that up with violence became the ruling classes, who were thereby able to make and maintain the social pyramid systems that currently exist.
Those systems are almost nothing but a core and capstone of organized crime, surrounded and supported by layers of controlled opposition. Both the series of articles from Hugh-Smith, as well as the one you link, scatha, are merely more examples of how the controlled opposition groups present relatively good analyses of the problems, BUT, which then collapse back to the same old bogus "solutions" based on impossible ideals, because they continue to think in ways which presume upon the validity of the dualities presented as false fundamental dichotomies.
To go through enough paradigm shifts in the ways that we perceive politics would be the only way to sufficiently change the ways that we think about those problems. Unfortunately, there seems to be no practical way to do that enough, given the degree to which almost everyone presumes that the dominate natural languages and philosophy of science are correct, instead of actually being profoundly wrong.
As I have been advocating throughout my life, for several decades, and as I have been variously repeating in comments which I have posted on Zero Hedge for a couple of years, we should go through much more severe cognitive dissonance, in order to engage in deeper analysis of the problems regarding how and why governments are necessarily the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals. Doing that, by using those sorts of unitary mechanisms, instead of continuing to rely upon dualities, is the only way to perhaps be able to develop better dynamic equilibria between the different systems of organized lies operating robberies.
INTENSE PARADOXES are developing due to too much social success, for too long, based upon the principles and methods of organized crime, which included the ways that was able to control its opposition, by dominating the language and philosophical assumptions that most people were taught to believe, and so, must use to think with and communicate through. The conclusions that I come to are that the only genuine solutions to our problems must necessarily be better death control systems, which would require series of intellectual scientific revolutions, in order to be able to perceive political problems in radically different ways.
The loss of faith in public institutions needs to become way more cynical. People are not remotely close to being cynical enough as long as they continue to believe in various false fundamental dichotomies, and the related impossible ideals, such as found in the all the publicly significant religions and ideologies, which were all various forms of controlled opposition, that operated inside of the necessarily existing systems of organized crime.
Anyway, scatha, I did not regard the article you linked as providing "true alternatives." Similarly, nothing I have read from Hugh-Smith presents a deeper analysis, which then would enable going beyone the implications of what sort of superficial "solutions" may be recommended on the basis of too superficial an analysis. There are no fundamental dichotomies between people. The ruling classes are not basically different than anyone else. However, they have become too successful, for too long, at brainwashing most other people to think using false fundamental dichotomies. Therefore, most of the opposition is controlled to continue to promote bogus "solutions" based on impossible ideals, that continue to backfire badly, and cause the opposite to happen in the real world.
Human beings and civilizations operate as entropic pumps of energy flows. Through the development of social pyramid systems, the basic ways that we think about entropy was inverted, along with the inversion of almost everything else, into an integrated kind of Wonderland Matrix, or Bizarro Mirror World. Human beings necessarily live as systems of more or less organized lies operating robberies. All countries, corporations, and churches, etc., are based on doing that. Political activities ought to have been about the dynamic equilibria between those different systems. However, the biggest and best organized gangs of criminals have been able to brainwash almost everyone to believe in their bullshit, to the degree that that has been built into the dominant natural languages and philosophy of science.
The degree to which there is a "cognitive dissonance pandemic" is grossly underestimated by the vast majority of people, who therefore continue to have grossly ridiculous beliefs in impossible ideals, based upon false fundamental dichotomies, which have resulted in the currently established social and political institutions becoming so extremely UNBALANCED that there is more and more "loss of faith in public institutions."
However, by and large, there is almost nothing which is publicly significant than various forms of controlled opposition, which do not embrace the facts that human civilizations necessary operate according to the principles and methods of organized crime, because those civilizations are necessarily defined as separated from their environment, as entropic pumps of energy flows. One of the great paradoxes was the way that the concept of entropy was inverted, in order that progress in physical science could continue to be perceived in ways which were consistent with the biggest bullies' bullshit world view. Therefore, those who begin to perceive more and more that the existing governments are actually the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, still tend to present only relatively superficial analysis of that, which then results in them presenting bogus "solutions" which are similarly superficial.
The greater paradoxes that have resulted from progress in physical science, without matching progress in political science, are the deeper sources of our "loss of faith in public institutions" and the related "cognitive dissonance pandemic." While the mass media struggles to deliberately ignore those, despite those becoming more blatantly obvious every day, the so-called "alternatives" tend to never become cynical enough, and to never go through enough cognitive dissonance, (which is the standing pattern on Zero Hedge!)
Your statements above, scatha, were another example of that:
We need series of intellectual scientific revolutions in the ways that we perceive politics, which requires appreciation of the degree to which previous politics has introduced errors into the philosophy of science. That is the "deeper change" which should be accomplished, although it appears to be politically impossible at the present time, since there is now almost nothing but the core of organized crime, surrounded by controlled opposition, which both stay within the frame of reference of false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals. Hence, advancing political science through more unitary mechanisms, is currently, from any practical point of view, politically impossible.
Neither the ruling classes, nor those they rule over, want to become more scientific about themselves, and do not want to go through profound paradigm shifts regarding how they perceive political problems. That is especially the case regarding the ruling classes, since their systems are based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS, and thus, they do not want those social facts to become generally understood. However, at the present time, the ruling classes do not have to worry to much about that, since they still continue to mostly control their opposition. Therefore, that controlled opposition does not promote better death controls to back up better debt controls, but rather, promotes the same old-fashioned bullshit, based upon false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals, which language and ways of thinking are profoundly unscientific, since those cleave to the same old dualities, rather than attempt to approach better unitary mechanisms, in order to understand political science in ways which would be consistent with revolutionized physical science, which has already gone through a profound series of paradigm shifts, and which could and should go through more of those, which then should feedback through political science.
ALL public institutions are NECESSARILY, the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. The degree to which people are brainwashed to not want to perceive that is the degree to which those institutions will become more unbalanced. The history of that has always been that private property was based upon backing up claims with coercions. There is no private property outside of some system of public violence. The most abstract manifestation of that was that money is measurement backed by murder. The historical SOURCE of the "loss of faith in public institutions" was the ways that the methods of organized crime were able to be applied to the political processes to result in the effective privatization of the public "money" supply. After that, everything automatically got worse, faster, at an exponentially accelerating rate. That has reached the point which each time those systems of ENFORCE FRAUDS DOUBLE DOWN, that becomes more blatantly obvious.
The mass media is having a harder and harder time pretending that there is nothing wrong, while the alternative media are having an easier and easier time presenting the rational evidence and logical arguments that the established systems have become psychotically out of touch with the real world, while those systems become painfully obvious forms of runaway criminal insanities, due to how extremely unbalanced those systems have become, primarily due to the degree to which the core groups of organized crime have been able to control their opposition, so that there is barely any effective opposition.
As long as the bogus "solutions" continue to be based on various sorts of old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals, as have been historically promoted by various religions and ideologies which were acting as controlled opposition, then we are not going to resolve our real problems in any realistic ways.
I REPEAT:
EVERYONE HAS SOME POWER TO ROB, AND POWER TO KILL TO BACK THAT UP. GOVERNMENTS ASSEMBLED AND CHANNELED THAT POWER, WHILE THOSE WHO WERE THE BEST AT DOING THAT EFFECTIVELY CONTROLLED THOSE GOVERNMENTS. That is what public institutions are, and must necessarily be. As long as people continue to believe in the bullshit of impossible ideals, then the public institutions will continue to become even more unbalanced than they already are. What it all boils down to is the history of the death control systems, backing up the debt control systems, through combined money/murder systems. That is what actually exists, and therefore, the only genuine resolutions of those real problems would require developing better death control systems, to back up better debt control systems. Those theoretically would be possible if enough human beings better understood themselves as energy systems, however, in order to do that they would have to understand they are currently misunderstanding the concept of entropy backwards, as one of the most abstract ways that they are misunderstanding everything else.
Governments MUST be the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals. The ONLY ways to bring those public institutions back into better balance would be to deal with those real problems in more realistic ways.
"Collapse, Part 4: Loss Of Faith In Public Institutions"
Explained in 5 words: Kelly Thomas and Jon Corzine.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
This reminds me of something said about the Berlin wall coming down. The people were holding the walls up. One night the gaurds stopped holding them up. The next day it was swiss cheese. Two weeks later it was trinkets. I still have a piece of it.
The fall of the Berlin wall serves as a prime example of Tyranny's Paradox, Part One. That the we do not need them, but it is they that need the us. That only our submission and conformity enables their tyranny against us.
The fall of the Wall came about because the people had become confused by a crat's announcement that the people would be allowed to traverse the Wall to the west. With that the people, not realizing that the pronouncement was incorrect, went, with little fear, to the Wall in mass. The thugs stationed at the Wall became fearful that, if they followed their orders, and murdered the people, they would then be killed by a potentially enraged mob--The moral being, that fear is a sword that can cut both ways.
The result was that tyranny, due to a mass disregard for their threats and intimidations, was swept away in a NIGHT--One night!
Tyranny's Paradox, Part Two: Tyranny are cowards.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
Sidenote: I traversed the Berlin Wall via Checkpoint-Charlie exactly one year before it fell. Went up the tall tower, and went to an opera with some new East German friends. That day I took note of the stark contrast and drabness of East Berlin, and then found myself that evening with friends living it up in the Kudamm district--very surreal.
When asked later by German friends if the Wall would soon fall, I responded, "Not in our lifetimes." I guess I was wrong about that.
Great post man.
One question. Does it bother you that you could be that wrong about it?
Thanks,
As for being wrong?! My position is, like I like to say, "I know everything, and nothing." Which means that I hold nothing I know as right or wrong, correct or incorrect, but most likely, or least likely. I don't allow ideas or opinions to own me; I own them, like a pair of socks. We all know people that get angry and defensive if their views are challenged, no matter how innocuous the challenge. This is because they either have a mental stake in them, owned by, or an actual physical stake (money?) in them, bought, or both. Try talking about the atrocity of unions with a life long union member.
The likeliness of something is based on its pertinence to, veracity of, and reputation of. Reputation is how something is treated by others, usually power.
--WTC-7's fall is very pertinent, and highly veracious as it relates to 9/11. It also has a high reputation in that power has avoided it like the plague--
As a result, while striving to fully know what and why I know what I know, I am very comfortable with being incorrect, fully or partially. However, it is important to understand why something was not correct so as to learn from it.
Overall, the result is a continuous thinking and evaluating of what I know, and how it fits together with other information and knowledge I have or come in contract with--A "clockworks" of interlinked and connected knowledge.
In the late 80s I was semi pro gun-control, but kept reading, and thinking, and more importantly, researching things that were contrary with my held beliefs. Then it all clicked, and I knew I was wrong, and why I was wrong. The added benefit of changing my opinion is having knowledge of both sides.
Also important is knowing the limits of one's knowledge and not to wade into uncharted waters, and be able to admit that. Abortion for me is an example, I don't know., and I don't have a clue. I do believe that it should not be a priority, as regardless of one's stance, the murderous and treasonous tyranny daily killing people here and abroad seems to be a bit more important. But, as for when life begins, I don't have a clue.
So there are three things I think important: Don't let your ideas and opinions own you; own them, and be open and comfortable with being incorrect. Always be evaluating, thinking, about your ideas and opinions. Acknowledge and be truthful with what you don't know.
Of course, that was a long winded way to say that it does not bother me to possibly be incorrect, but that I am very comfortable with why I believe myself to be correct.
Ultimately, the key is to, "Always be thinking."
Now, using as a starting point, my opinions, the the opinions of others here and elsewhere, go and pursue your answers--Happy hunting.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
I am glad I asked.
Funny thing it was not some kind of great battle with killing and hero shit. It was one great party with beer and dancing. Hugs and kisses, food and singing.
Maybe one fine day I will put a piece of the FED right next to that piece of a wall.
