How Much Is $160 Of Silver Worth To The Average American? (Hint: Less Than $10)
Seemingly confirming the national new normal, dumbing-down-ness, the following clip shows Americans have absolutely no idea about the value of precious metals. When asked if they would like to purchase a 10oz silver bar (worth $160) for just ten bucks, every single one refused... one even refused to handover a half-drunk Starbucks coffee for the silver bar.
Mark Dice does it again...
Exposing the staggering ignorance of the average American even more, the clip was filmed right in front of a coin shop.
We wonder what the same interviews would be like in China or India or Russia?

If a guy tries to sell you shit and he says you're getting a "good deal," it's your duty to kick him square in the balls.
I am convinced that California will be the place to be when the dollar devaluation comes. All of those little airhead hoes you saw in the video will be on the street {and on backpage} blowing cock for peanuts. They will "speak greek" for a few dollars more.
I would've said 'let me see that', and he would have handed it to me. I would have put it my shirt pocket and asked him 'ya wanna buy some silver'? Then when he stuck that microphone back in my face again I would have taken it away from him and asked 'ya wanna buy a microphone'? Etc...
ohhh, you are so cute and clever, my, my.
Mark Dice lives in California and does his videos there.
One's behavior is often dictated by the opinions and attitudes reflected by the majority of the people in the general area in which one lives.
I live in an area full of shitkickers, hardassess, and rednecks, and this is what most shitkickers, hardasses, and rednecks would do if confronted with this situation.
No. Its not cute and clever, nor funny at all, ya little faggot.
Friend of mine owns a jewelry store and right in the middle of the 'cash for gold' craze a few years ago, someone brought in a little silver penis where you could pull the chain that runs through the shaft and it would go erect. Also had a loop on the top for hanging on a chain. Probably .25 oz of silver went into making that thing and I think he gave the customer 50 bucks for it, which at the time was the going price for 1 oz of silver, so he probably felt like he got a pretty good deal.
So anyway, this jeweler friend of mine calls me and tells me the story of how he paid a customer 50 bucks for what amounted to a quarter oz of silver in the shape of a penis and I called him a dumb ass for going through with the transaction. He says to me "Can you stick it on FleaBay for me and see what you can get for it?" He tells me how it's just not something his clients would appreciate. I agree. He sends it to me in the mail, I list it and lo and behold, four days later, the thing is bid up to $490.00 with one day left.........ends up selling for $530. I couldn't believe it.
Not sure what the moral of this story is, but it could be that although silver is a good investment, it's especially true if it's in penis form.
my 10 sterling silver placesettings are worth about $22,000. Who would have guessed!
I'll give you my half-drunk Starbucks latte for it.
If you don't think it is worth it, just check out Starbucks prices...
My goodness.
More proof that there are millions of people that are going to lose their minds, and their asses, when the banks decide to hold their loans and not allow us our cash/plastic.
This kinda stuff never happens to me. Not that kind of lucky, I guess. Of course I walk the other way when cameras are present. Now that's a conundrum.
I suspect this is what will happen if/when the SHTF... you won't be able to unload your PM(s) for anything near their true (or perceived) value.
If you say so fellatio
That is why the US average Joe and Anna will be left behind when the reset occurs. They will not understand what will have happened, even after it did right in front on their eyes and they will have lost their shirt and then then some. The reset will happen, but not bcs of broad US participation. That cannot be allowed. So the narrative of the "popped silver bubble" will be kept alive until "it" happens. At that point, you either hold it or you will be left in the rain. The misinformation and deception is running deep and has systemically brainwashed 3 generations of debt slaves.
And people wonder why half the country is on Food Stamps.
No one even knows how to eat, they practically need the govt to come and spoon feed them in their living rooms lol
We are so fucked.
Maybe the govt is right, maybe society has degraded to the point where we should all just give up and let them take care of us.
For 10$ I would of taken the risk that it was fake.
10$ is like . . . a dollar ten years ago.
We are fucked, but it's only because Americans have become so pussified while under attack
The assumption here is that people actually care about their on financial security.
In Greece, they're dropping like flies. When it hits the fan here, same should occur.
Maybe thats why my gold bulion business is confined to Zero Hedger's - who by the way are accepting me...and one or two have joined me because they get it!!! thanks guys, I appreciate it.
Karatbars have desgined a system whereby people can acquire Bullion for free, by paying them very well just to refer customers to the kararbar website.. and the General Public still dont get it... I initially though these people were simply suspicious and going to research more... however in fact most as just are as dumb as a bag of hammers..and useless (which is depressing and worrying in equal measure)

Unlimited Slaves of America
The good news is that it's not going to be up to 300 million broke American retards to determine what the true value of silver is. 2.5 billion Chindians will be making that decision instead. And just one ounce for each of them is 2 plus years of total mining supply or 10 years of total investment demand. Americans will be flat broke besides, so it won't mean squat what they think anymore.
Silver For The People
Wouldn't be so quick to judge these people. Man-on-the-street format is misleading. Most people are going from A-B have other stuff on their mind and being approached by a camera crew is like "what the fuck" situation. I know. It happened to me. Some mainstream camera crew trapped me on a downtown corner and threw a question at me and I just drew a blank and was thinking get-the-fuck-out-of-my-face. Maybe in a different setting this would have more validity.
yeah, let them know a day ahead of time. the ones that can read and remember lmao
dumber than dirt
Sir! Do you have a moment? --What's your opinion of the extraterrestrial presence on this planet?
dumber than dirt.
tick tock
clowns
why not at least play along for the cameras at least? "yeah sure here's my coffee haha." was it that they didnt believe its real silver? this is like the wow level of stupid and its really contemptible. does anyone else here want to bitch slap these people?
I'm tired of this guys cherry picking and editing of responses. He doesn't show a single one where the respondant says, Yeah, I'll take it. Plus you're the dude on the internet demonstrating how ignorant americans are. I know all about your crap and how you're an expert at editing your program to illustrate your bias.
<-- I would buy gold & silver from a "street vendor"
<-- I would NOT buy gold & silver from a "street vendor"
most people would think its a too-good-to-be-real scam and not trust the dude - who would trust a precious metals street vendor? hell i don't even trust many so called "legit" PM dealers - trust & honesty are in short supply today and most people know that, no matter how dumb we think we are as a society - this was a bad test - I would say that anyone who DOES buy from this dude is the idiot
You DO NOT want silver compared to Gold!$2.75/oz post silver. Better to own TP. Check fofoa's latest article on http://fofoa.blogspot.com.
I would have told the guy to go fuck himself with a 1,000 ounce silver bar.
I only buy my silver from this guy -

"We wonder what the same interviews would be like in China or India or Russia?"
People have no problem there buying precious metals from some douche out of the back of a van. If that's a good thing, you tell me.
BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE SOCIALIST JEW MEDIA......
NODebt said it first. The old adage of "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" applys with MD's approach. Out here in SOCal, we have down and outs in our faces daily. Pitching this and that or just asking for handouts. And the camera doesn't add anything to the trust factor.
Proof that gold and silver are in a bubble.... lol
While there may be plenty of ignorance in this video, I would probably seem ignorant as well. But, I don't buy anything from people that walk up to me on the street with prices that are too goo to be true and I'm not walking into a shop where his friend will verify what he's saying.
