President Obama is due to take the lectern to gloat address the decision of "the most liberal Supreme Court since the 60s" upholding his healthcare tax...saying that subsidies do not violate state law. Drink every time he smiles, says "right decision", "bipartisan", and neck the whole bottle of tequila if mentions that "justice was done," or uses the term "SCOTUSCare."

To recap the decision, Low income housing tax credits were being used in low income neighborhoods (not middle to upper). The decision allows plaintiffs to sue that practice for disparit impact. Now Fed/State and Local govt MUST consider disparite immpact when making policy.
In the case before the court, Texas was fighting a lawsuit by the Inclusive Communities Project, a Dallas-based group that advocates for racially integrated housing. The organization accused state officials of thwarting integration by allocating a disproportionate number of federal low-income housing tax credits to minority neighborhoods.

I have a friend who used to live in a nice high-rise apartment in downtown Los Angeles. Some of his neighbors lived there under section 8. He paid full price (single guy, contruction engineer, could afford it), they paid almost nothing. They (the section 8ers) would complain about everything. So this sort of thing is already going on in more liberal areas. It's hideous, to think that you have to work your ass off to have a nice place to live, but your neighbor, with perhaps more square footage than you, is a total freeloader.
The outlying communities of the SF Bay Area are undergoing the same, with the impact you would expect on the public schools and community cohesion. The central planners hate the burbs and oppose or spoil anything that enables them.

The law makes them jump through 50 hoops to get their money for the subsidized patients and face massive penalties if they don't follow every of the thousands of rules to the letter. They MUST keep jacking the rates to keep up with 10 million new "users" and rampant inflation. I think it is pretty silly to call an enterprise with 6% profit margin evil, seriously?
These providers were sick before, they are meant to die under Obamacare. Then the benevolent government will sweep in and clean up "the mess that these rascals like Humana" caused; nearly destorying the gift of government healthcare for all. Then we will have single payer government healthcare. Obamacare was designed to eliminate private insurance. Single payer ( government) has always been the goal. Clinton made his move prematurely but Obama took advantage of a better climate to ramrod it through. Now that premiums are skyrocketing, people will beg for it.

I have not voted since the early 1990's and probably never again vote.
