The US & Europe Will Collapse Regardless Of Economic "Contagion"

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.com,

In order to understand what is really going on around the globe in terms of the collapsing economy, we must set aside false mainstream versions of reality. When it comes to the EU and its current fiscal turmoil, it is very important to, in some respects, ignore Greece entirely. That’s right; forget about all the supposed drama surrounding Greek debt obligations. Will they find a way to pay creditors? Will they default? Will they make a deal with Russia and the BRICS? Will there be last-minute concessions to save the system? It doesn’t matter. It’s all a soap opera, an elaborate Kabuki theater run by international financiers and globalists.

It is most important to remember the fundamentals. Greece will default on its debts. Period. There is no way around it. Maybe Greece makes a deal today, maybe it makes a deal tomorrow; but eventually, the country’s ability to stretch out its resources in order to meet its exponential liabilities will end. It is inevitable, and no last-minute “deal” is going to change the math at the core of it all.

Why are so many economists so worried about a little country like Greece? It's all due to a great lie: a dishonest narrative being perpetuated by the establishment that if Greece falls, defaults or leaves the EU, this could trigger a domino effect of other nations hitting a debt wall and following suit. The lie embedded in this narrative is the claim that Greece will cause a “contagion” through the act of default.  Let's be clear - there is no contagion. Multiple countries within the EU have developed their own debt problems in spite of Greece over the past couple of decades, not because of Greece. Each of these countries, from Italy, to Spain, to Portugal, etc. has its OWN sovereign debt disasters to deal with caused by its own fiscal irresponsibility. The only legitimate reason for a so-called contagion is the fact that these countries have been forced into socialist interdependency through the EU structure.

Never forget this: The EU is in trouble not because of Greece, but because of forced supranational interdependency. The EU by all rights should not exist, nor should any centralized supranational single currency system.

I would also point out that globalist institutions like the International Monetary Fund are highly motivated to initiate disaster in the EU, despite some people’s assumptions that the EU is some kind of representative model of globalization. It’s not. If this were the case, then the IMF would not be stiffing Greece on debt aid while continuing to help Ukraine despite Ukraine’s similar inability to pay.

Why would the globalists want a partial breakup of the EU? What would they gain from such an event? That’s easy; they gain crisis, chaos and an opportunity to present a false dialectic.

Europe is not at all representative of what globalists really want in terms of economic and political structure, no matter what many people assume. It is a, rather, a kind of facsimile; a half measure. When Europe hits the bottom of the financial abyss and the bewildered public begins asking what the hell happened, the elites will be there with an immediate explanation. They will claim that it was not the EU’s interdependency that was the problem. Instead, they will assert that the EU was actually not centralized ENOUGH. They will claim that in order for a supranational economy and currency to work, we must also have supranational governance. In other words, the system failed because it needs to be stabilized by global government.

The Fabian socialists will argue that it was the barbaric and outdated institution of national sovereignty that caused the full-spectrum crisis. They will completely gloss over the negative effects of an interdependent economic system and the fact that a lack of redundancy leaves cultures simpering and impotent. We’re all one big human village after all, so we should accept the idea that we all succeed or fail together. Free markets and individual innovation apparently have nothing to do with a thriving economic structure. What we really need is a hive mind amalgamation that turns us all into easily replaceable parts in a massive rumbling lawnmower that chews up our heritage, history and principles for the sake of some arbitrary greater good and the promise of alchemical floating cities in the sky where no one has to work anymore.

The fall of the EU is a means to an end for globalists. There is almost no nation or institution they will not sacrifice if that sacrifice can be exploited to further their goal of total global political and economic dominance. They don’t just want a completely centralized system; they want all of us to BEG them to put that system in place. They want the masses to think it was all our idea. This is the most pervasive and effective form of slavery, when the slaves are manipulated into demanding their own enslavement.  When the slaves are fooled into believing their enslavement is something to be proud of — a badge of honor in service of the collective, if you will.

The fall of the U.S. will be no different in this regard. We do not necessarily have a supranational structure like the EU. So our narrative for collapse will be slightly different, and the engineered lesson we are meant to learn will be carefully crafted.

You see, Americans are meant to play the role of the spoiled imperialists who are finally getting what we deserve, an economic punch in our tender parts. We are the new Rome, bread and circuses and all. And when the U.S. comes crashing down like Europe, the Fabians will be there yet again to admonish the greed inherent in national sovereignty and the destructive aspirations of power that must be squelched by a more evenhanded global political system. I don’t really know how many people out there realize this, but we are meant to play the bad guys in the global theater being put on by the elites. Americans are the villains, the rest of the world plays the role of innocent victim, and globalist centers like the IMF and the BIS are meant to play the heroes, coming to the rescue of humanity when all appears lost.

Our debt generation by far outmatches that of the whole of EU nations combined, a fact I outlined in Part 3 of my series One Last Look At The Real Economy Before It Implodes.  Unlike Greece, though, the U.S. has the direct option to print fiat at will in order to prolong punishment for our massive debt spending. However, as we have seen with recent market reactions to the very notion of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve in September, such an event will trigger extensive outflows from stock markets and herald the end of the “new normal.” Again, why would the banksters do this? Why not keep interest rates at a constant near zero?  It is not as if there is any public pressure to raise rates; in fact, it's quite the opposite. Why is the Fed ignoring the hundreds of signals showing that the U.S. is in a recession and pushing ahead with discussion of interest rate hikes despite what one might logically conclude would be in the Fed's best interest?

The Fed knows that the only things propping up American markets are free money and blind faith by the public that banks and government will act to stop any pain or economic suffering, should such a potential for crisis arise. When the free money is gone and that faith disappears, then we will have an epic catastrophe on our hands. The globalists within the Fed know this, and they want this - at least , they want a controlled version of this. The elites NEED the fall of the current U.S. system exactly because this will make way for the rise of what they often term the “great economic reset.”  This reset is the next stage in the plan for total global economic centralization.

This is not about contagion. There is no such thing. It is an excuse, a scapegoat designed to distract from the real problem. This is about a concerted effort over the past several decades by internationalists to maneuver Western cultures into a position of vulnerability. When people are weak and frightened, they become malleable. Social changes you would have never thought possible today become very possible tomorrow in the midst of a crisis. I believe we are now seeing the onset of the next great crisis, and the fundamentals of economy support my view. When the entire European system hangs by the thread of Greek debt and the entire U.S. system hangs by the thread of near zero interest rates and blind market faith, something is about to shatter. There is no going back from such a condition. There is only the path forward, and the path forward is not pleasant or comfortable and it cannot be ignored.

We cannot forget that crisis is in itself a distraction as well. Whatever pain we do feel tomorrow, or the next day, or the next decade, remember who it was that caused it all: the international banks and their globalist political counterparts. No matter what happens, never be willing to accept a centralized system. No matter how reasonable or rational it might sound amid the terror of fiscal uncertainty, never give the beast what it wants. Refuse to conform to the dialectic. This is the only chance we have left to get back to true prosperity. Once we cross the line into the realm of worldwide institutionalized interdependency, we will never know prosperity or freedom again.

Great post, Brandon.  Your words put it in a nutshell pretty well:

“Whatever pain we do feel tomorrow, or the next day, or the next decade, remember who it was that caused it all: the international banks and their globalist political counterparts.”

As readers who have followed my posts know I would characterize this group as the cabal.  I say this because control of the media, finances (subject of your post), political system and military resources of all Western Nations [read Nations of predominantly white European descent] has been co-opted by this group for only their benefit, at the expense of our peoples.  Just so there is no confusion, who is it that comprises the cabal that I speak of?

1)      Liberal Jews (with communist and cultural marxist tendencies, e.g. ADL and SPLC types) who look out for ONLY the Jews

2)      Conservative Jews (with fascist tendencies, e.g. Neo-con and Zionist types) who look out for ONLY the Jews

3)      Traitorous non-Jews who collude with them to sell out their own peoples for money and power

That’s the complete membership list.  It’s not very complicated.  Obama is a puppet of Group 1) and Bush was a puppet of Group 2).

When the opportunity comes to set things right, “remember who it was that caused it all”.

I couldn’t have said it better.

You speak the obvious truth but the fact that so few people have the courage to comprehend it is truly mindboggling! We are a soceity of sheep.. Everyone indoctrinated to believe what the Cabal has preached for the past century.. No one questions their narrative..

Jew is awesome! Jew is persecuted! Muslim is really bad.. Jew just good with money because Christians didn't want to deal w/ it.. All Jew Marxist ideoligies awesome because Hollywood says so. No problem that Jew owns/control all of the Media for they are hard workers.. No matter jew runs Federal Reserve... again they are hard workers and the Church didn't like money.. lol

It's all one big pile of Jew shit! All of life comes down to one Jew lie after another!

I doubt that the US will collapse like Rome did.

When the the Federal Reserve can not print money any longer to the same extent I guess that the US will raise tariffs and begin to produce more goods domestically. The trade deficit problem can be solved quite easily for a big country like the US which is sophisticated enough to produce consumer electronics and automobiles.

TTIP and NAFTA will create a market that is big enough to maintain the status of the West as the most important power bloc in the world.

But it is probably true that more problems in the EU can be used as an argument for more a more centralized European Union. The politicians in Sweden used a similar method to make the Swedes approve of the idea to join the EU. First they pegged the Swedish krona to the European currency Ecu (which later became the euro). Then they raised the interest rates to defend the peg (finally to 500 %). That created an economic disaster. And then the politicians and the big media said that this disaster could have been prevented if we hade been members of the EU. So I guess that the politicians and the big media can say that Europe´s problem can be cured if we get a more centralized European Union.

I think that that those who control American politics know what they are doing. I think they need the US. They are not stupid. So I don´t think that this will end with the collapse of the US. The US will continue to change, but it will not collapse. It is more likely that the US will raise tariffs for non-TTIP and non-NAFTA countries. If that happens, an important tool for influence in Asia will disappear. But perhaps investors that work within the borders of Asian countries and Russia can compensate for that to some extent. I´m not sure that they will be able to take over China from the inside like they did in with the US and Britain, for instance. But I wouldn´t rule out a scenario like that.

"I think that that those who control American politics know what they are doing. I think they need the US. They are not stupid."

Oh dear oh dear.

I sat at a BBQ in South Africa (A briar as they call it) back in 2008 and the topic moved to world politics and there were questions such as, "Why does the US congress do X? and Why does the US congress do Y?" They looked on me as some kind of authority because I grew up in Canada.

So I coughed a bit and had to explain.....

There is actually NO plan and most people in Congress are idiots. The place went silent with the obvious question, how could idiots be in charge of the most powerful country on earth. My response was, "Look at your own parliment, its not much different....and remember, the morons in Congress today are NOT the ones who made America great, that was done 2-3 generations ago....the USA has been moving on momentum, nothing else. It takes a long time to stop a fully ladened oil tanker but eventually....its stops. Same with America".

So when I read statements that US politicians know what they are doing I'm just thankful I didn't have a full mouth of coffee. They are all, to a one, feathering their own nests and they don't give a rat's fuck about their country or their constitients.

Like I've said before, watching the suicide of America from overseas doesn't make it any prettier.

My comments:

Don´t pretend to be more stupid than you really are. I think you know what I´m talking about, i.e. those who control the politicians. And those who control the politicians are those who control the big media. Those who control the big media set the agenda and select those politicians the electorate consider as feasible alternatives to vote for. Campaign donors also matter to a substantial extent. Lobbyists and think tanks matter to some extent.

You can also influence politicians by promising them jobs in case they don´t get re-elected. Speaker fees can make former politicians rich.

You can also control politics, or rather parts of it, by controlling or influencing the religion of the majority of the population. There is a voting bloc in the US called "Evangelical Christians" and I think they constitute about 20 % of the electorate. Their interpretation of the Christian religion was very rare as late as 100 years ago. Modern Christianity is to a great extent created by those who control the TV networks. Traditional replacement theology is now probaly embraced by a smaller number of people in the US than Dispensationalist style Christianity and similar versions of Christianity. This is an example of how control over the big media can have a tremendous impact on the general public over a longer period of time. Over a longer period of time we are not just talking about setting the agenda for the elections but about fundamental change of basic attitudes and perspectives on reality.

As regards American politicians it seems as if George Bush Sr knows how the world works. His discussion with one of his sons on what a neoconservative is indicates that ("Do you want names or a description?"). Perhaps he could have been re-elected if had been 100 % co-operative like Clinton and not just 90 %. But I´m not so sure that Mike Huckabee understands how the world works. But it doesn´t really matter whether American politicians know how the world works or not. What matters to those who control American politicians is whether they can be expected to be co-operative enough or not. Also remember that you can rule America even if there are a handful of dissenting politicians in Congress or a minority of dissenting judges in the Supreme Court.

Brandon writes a good piece, but I think the globalist agenda --which clearly exists-- has been concocted over many decades by people with too much money, too much arrogance, and too little brains. It all looks so good to them on paper, and they reinforce a sort of resonance of shallow crap between themselves and misinterpret the benefits of chaos as lying entirely in their own favor.

A financial and monetary collapse of the West, such as the one that is now clearly inevitable, invokes a breakdown in media communications and chaos in the lives of the lowest caste supporters. The result is fragmentation of the power structure. Of course, this is precisely the effect that the globalist agenda seems to be pinning its hopes on, such that power can supposedly be even more centralized. But I think this is an extreme miscalculation, and that during the period of anticipated breakdown in banking services, which in turn leads to a shutdown of the entire commodity distribution system, local and regional responses will inevitably lead to a return --particularly in States with a more rural population base-- to standards and practices far more reminiscent of years gone by.

Texas, for example, is one such example, being already well primed to become a breakaway republic. But there are perhaps four or five other regions of the US, each of which have little more in common with one another today than the highly corrupted agendas of the Federal government itself. But when this breaks down, you can toss the globalists' plans in the wastebasket. As everyone in military circles knows, the first casualty of war is "the plan"

You say the globalists want "a great economic reset" and therefore lose the world dominance of the Fed's dollar.  Just what are they going to replace it with?

The SDR, Euro.  Certainly not gold as they can't print that.

Also the US doesn't have to be painted as the bad guy.  The genocide and fraud by our hidden globalists rulers define us as the bad guys.

I think you may have missed a subtle point in the essay (and one that needed to be clarified). You are both right, but there is a slight variance of perspective.

The writer's point is that the socialist system of interdependency is the root cause for what will be the coming collapse. The state-run media and the socialists will try to focus everyone's attention on the "contagion" that one country's collapse caused another country's collapse, and then another, and then another, in the domino effect.

As you said, that is certainly the way the chain reaction will work. As long as one CB can print some fiat and invest in another country's financials, they can keep the system floating. But at some point, math catches up (we are at that breaking point now) and the monetary system collapses.

His point is that it is not the effect of one nation's economy collapsing that will be the root cause but the entire FORCED interdependency of disparate nations that are all ruled by a common banking and monetary system.

Another way to look at it is this (and, again, the writer should have pointed it out). The overall system will collapse. It doesn't matter if it is Greece first or any of the other PIIGS. It doesn't matter if one collapses, then the next, then the next (in an apparent cause-effect relationship) or all at once.

The system will collapse because of the socialism and fascism (and let's face it, the central-banking model is a fascist design where the ruler select one entity to dominate an entire industry and then control that industry through the "chosen" entity, anyone's guess is as good as any other who the true rulers are) that is being forced upon sovereign nations.

This is all by design, just as the socialist medicine that Obama and his fascists forced upon the US was designed to fail, to take down the parts of the industry so that (in the vacuum that is created and to quell the chaos and demand for a solution) it could be replaced by a greater, singular far more powerful centralized government (AKA totalitarianism).

As I see it the ascension of the BRICS as a unified group are causing the Globalists a severe headache.

Anyone who hasn't viewed the "Money Masters" or does not understand the debt money fractional reserve banking system and how it enslaves all of human kind through debt peonage and the ponzi nature of the sytem doesn't have a clue about what is going down. For instance, when a baby is born it immediately is saddled with its share of national and other political jurisdictional debts. All the rest of us are pulling nickels and dimes out of the system to support our habit called life on planet earth, but under this system there must be losers in order for there to be winners. The elites want complete control over their fellow human beings with a reduction of 6 out of 7 in the population as that is all their system can maintain and keep them in power ad infinitum without the threat of popular revolt. Ask yourself, "am I and my family important ehough to the powers that be that I and my family will be designated as the one out of seven for survival as a servant to these powers that be?"

I think you misunderstand in your terror of the Fabians (who took over the world's power structures so long ago that they have nothing left to achieve except hanging on to the power they have).  1) The IMF is the economic tool of American foreign policy, not a tool of the Shadowlords to destroy the U.S. 2) The internationalists aren't manipulating to take over the world.  They did that forty years ago.  Now they're desperately trying not to LOSE control.  3) They will fail, miserably.  Greece is the symptom of that failure, as the Masters Of The Universe are too busy squabbling to get their acts together, except when they unanimously decide to do something very stupid as a consequence of their intellectual isolation and arrogance.

For the rest of us, the goal is to get out of the way as the Pillars of Creation fall around us, and then get on with our lives.  The loss of a ruling caste is an opportunity for everyone else.  However in this case the main winners will be China and Russia, as The West collectively drowns in its own shitstorm.

Anyone who honestly thinks centralization is efficient or beneficial is literally 1000 times dumber than a rock.  Ask any imbicile who advocates centralization whether he agrees about everything with everyone, and has the exact same tastes and goals as everyone else he meets.

No?

Then even he knows centralization is horrific.  He just benefits from it somehow, albeit only the short-run.  In the long-run, no human benefits, because most/all humans will be dead as a consequence of centralization.

The "globalists'" seeking the destruction of America's divine right of Individual Sovereignty, the "New Secular Order" (viz. "Novus Ordo Seclorum") established in covenant as the prophesied "Zion," the New Israel, with the perfect, present Creator, God Almighty, ruled only through the "establishment of Justice" and Truth, are merely banker-intermediaries of the Old Sectarian Order of king and pope (viz. "Ancien Regime") we escaped after "thousands upon thousands of years of despotism."

Their JFK-assassinating, 9/11-committing, Sandy Hook- and Charleston-staging, false-Jew Talmud/papist Fifth Column now in full control of Capitol Hill, the MIC, and Organized Crime, Big Media and Hollywood Babylon, is the same satanic faction which together under codified Roman law crucified tens of thousands of Christs and Immanuel to build the Roman Empire through terror, ran the "Wall Street of slavery" at Rome for over 2,000 years, and has installed as POTUS two patently obvious homosexual psychopaths - Bush and Obama.

The Beast now upon the sovereign People, must by grace be cast down into the pit of full expropriation and judicial execution.
