EFSF Confirms Greek Bailout Expires Today
Despite rumors from The Time of Malta (seriously!!), Greece's largest creditor by far - the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) - has confirmed that "it's over":
- EFSF CONFIRMS GREECE FINL ASSIST PROGRAM EXPIRES TUESDAY
- EFSF: GREEK AID EXPIRATION MEANS LAST AID TRANCHE UNAVAILABLE
- EFSF SAYS REMAINING BANK-RECAPITALIZATION FUNDS TO BE CANCELED
So no extension, no suspension of referendum, and no talks until the referendum is over.

Just start baking your own bread. You bang out a bunch while your Kitchen Aid is out. Put the dough, pre sized for loaves on a large baking sheet in balls in the freezer for a an hr or so, then plastic wrap the dough balls and keep them in the freezer. When you want one just take it out before you are going to bed and put it in a a nice sized greased bowl to defrostand rise while you are sleeping. When you wake up shape it into a loaf and let rise again for an hour + and then bake it.
For meat the nice work around in NY is to buy the animal alive from the farmer. Make sure that the farmer also offers butchering services. Once you own the live animal have the farmer butcher it for you for whatever fee he/she charges. You will save a bundle that way.
Also brewing your own beer is a must.

Greece says it is willing to suspend referendum - PM
Opposition behind government 100% - Opposition leader
Greece has told negotiators in the EU it would be willing to suspend the referendum if negotiations were reopened and there was an offer and agreement on required prior actions, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said this evening.
In a statement to Parliament this evening, Dr Muscat said this could be a breakthrough, a game by Greece to gain more time or political posturing.
He said it was too early for the Maltese government to pronounce itself on the matter as events were still developing.
Opposition leader Simon Busuttil said the Opposition was fully behind the government, the European Council and the Finance Minister's Council in their declarations and decisions of the past two days.
"There is no difference between the government and the Opposition.... There is just one voice - the Maltese voice," Dr Busuttil said.
