1. no doubt that this conversation took place, the fact that there was a record of it and it is public knowledge tells me more about the current administration than Bush's since you would be in jail under Obama.

You do know that the Bill of Rights was only added after the Second Constitution was ratified (what the ignorant call "THE" Constitution. The first being the Articles of Confederation).
And the reason WHY there was a Bill of Rights added to the Second Constitution was that the Federalists ( Washington, Adams, Madison, etc.) had the votes in the States to pass the Second Constitution thus stripping states of their rights afforded to them in the Articles of Confederation (the FIRST constitution). In other words....a power CENTRAL government would rule the day because of the Second Constitution. ANTI-Federalists (Jefferson, Patrick Henry, Madison, etc.) would not accept this and thus to throw a bone to "States Rights" zealots, they allowed the Bill of Rights to be added.
But make no mistake, the die was forever cast for a strong Centralized, Federal Government at the Ratification of the Second Constitution. So....don't make the mistake of diefying the Bill of Rights. It was just there to placate the Anti-Federalists so they would not conspire to seperate from the union 75 years ahead of when they finally did.
George W. Bush pruportedly said, "The Constitution is nothing but a Goddamn piece of paper". Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. But the Federal Government, including both sides of Congress and the Supreme Court ALL agree that the Bill of Rights is "nothing but a Goddamn piece of paper."
Because it was only added to appease the Anti-Federalists. And they stupidly took the bait. And the Federals sealed the deal at Appomattox Courthouse April 9, 1865. After the Supreme Court allowed corporations to be considered "persons" in 1886, allowed the Federal government to steal people's income in 1913 and to enact the Federal Reserve Act thus removing unconstitutionally the defined purpose of Congress to mint money and set the value of, in the same year, how can ANY of you be surprised or even dissapointed in what the court did this last week with Obamacare and Legalized Homo Butt-Sex ?

So in the past few years we have learned that the NSA is spying on all of us, the IRS goes after groups for political reasons and willfully destroys evidence even after they were prohibited from doing so, the Supreme Court debates what the meaning of the word "is" is like a former president, cops shoot black people for no good reason, people are fined for not purchasing healthcare insurance and have their bank accounts emptied by the government without due process if they appear suspicious, NYC can tell landlords that they can't raise the rents on apartments even as utilities maintenance and taxes skyrocket, the Fed refuses to be audited or comply with information requests, and we are told that it is important to have our purchasing power destroyed by minimally 2% inflation, all calculated by a measure that keeps changing to understate inflation, etc, etc, etc.
So much for the framer's desire for limited government and maximum liberty. Kind of crapped all over that.
Yet so many people still believe in the myth of government.

Group: "What do you think the proper role of government is?"
Me: "They should just keep the roads and the courts open, nothing more." (in the domestic sense, was not addressing foreign policy)

The freudian slip is in the subtext here: the group all agreed that government couldn't even keep the roads in good repair, so how could they possibly be expected to do next to nothing right? The group basically made my case for me, and still does not realize it, lesson lost.
The job of government is to close the roads so they can be repaired, constructed, and maintained safely and efficiently.
I personally would rather that they tear up all the roads, because I don't like traffic, visitors, or any strangers.

What you described is NOTHING to what the US government and military are doing on a daily basis. All you mentioned were standard control tactics. These people have murdered MILLIONS based on staged lies. Taxing, killing, and spying is nothing to these creatures.
