Beware Greeks Bearing Nothing: Eurogroup Ends, Dijsselbloem Statement To Follow

Tyler Durden's picture

In one of the shorter Eurogroup meetings in recent history, the Greeks came bearing nothing and today's "final, final, final" "last chance for a deal" conference ended just after 2 hours in.

The Greeks may come back tomorrow bearing a new proposal but at this point it is rather clear what the endgame is. In a few moments expect Diesel-BOOM to explain why nothing got done again, and why it's on the Greeks if the Eurozone dominoes...

... start falling next. Here are the highlights of what Varoufakis' nemesis just said:

  • DIJSSELBLOEM SAYS EUROGROUP TO DISCUSS MEDIUM-TERM ESM PROGRAMME FOR GREECE
  • DIJSSELBLOEM EXPECTS FORMAL GREEK REQUEST FOR ESM WEDNESDAY
  • DIJSSELBLOEM: NEXT STEP IS NEW GREEK LETTER
  • DIJSSELBLOEM SAYS ECB TO ASSESS SITUATION IN GREECE ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS
  • DIJSSELBLOEM SAYS THERE IS A GREAT SENSE OF URGENCY
  • DIJSSELBLOEM SAYS TIME IS VERY SHORT

It is being reported that the State Department in the US has their 'regime change engineers - CIA' setting up for a Greece government overthrow.  The reason being is to ensure that they do not cozy up to Russia (or China) in any future economic pact.  They would have fits if Russa was able to establish a large naval port on a 100 year lease inside Greece for a few billion Euro payout..

I would suspect that the heads in Europe are in the know on this and fully supportive.  By turning Greece into a rioting / ISIS infected / famine / war riddled  country Spain and other leftist parties will be kept in line and continue indefinitely to extract taxes from their populance to pay Eurocrats and their $500 muffin plates.  The Greece government thinks they are in control now - they do not even know any future negotiations with them are just to let them continue thinking that while their replacement is being setup.

After the country is crumbled into starving anarchy a puppet department will emerge fully accepting austerity, and shooting anyone in Greece that still has the word 'referendum' in their vocabulary..

Does Greece need to explain themselves? Either restructure the debt over a much longer period of time, not to mention at those famous zero percent interest rates, or eat our debt. That's the deal. Get it? By the way, Douchebomb, time is short for whom?

Greece doesn't want the party to end. Podemos in Spain just wants to watch the world burn and this'll give them plenty of ammo. By the time LePen's turn comes around, there may not be much of an EU left......

Just what is there to talk about except addressing the key issue here - debt forgiveness/relief/repudiation? That is the only way forward.

Anything else, including the German "austerity" solution is fucking bullshit.

Wrong. The key issue is that the Greeks refuse to live within their means. The Germans were idiots to loan them money in the first place. Now they want to play hard ass, too late. It's their Lehman Moment (tm).

If events keep unfolding at a drip, drip, drip pace then I tend think it's going along as carefully planned by the globalist pigs. When things start happening quickly, for example bank run contagia in the other PIIGS, maybe they're losing control. I think the term is velocity.

(Reuters) - Western Union Co said it restarted money transfer service in Greece, allowing customers in the country to receive funds from overseas.
The company said although the entire amount transferred would be credited to account holders, customers would be able to withdraw only 60 euros ($65.58) daily as per the Greek government's recent capital-control measures.
The world's largest money transfer company shut its services in Greece on June 29 for a week, after the country closed its banks to limit strains on its crippled financial system

Greece should tell straight to the EU of the traitors that it will not pay any more debts : so the Eu should only consider wiping out the total debt or nothing . If the castle of cards will collapse it's the fault of the criminals banksters and their friends in the EU.

No more free lunches for the banksters . No more piling up and extending debt obligations . The party is over ...... EU go Fu... yourself .

That was a tough choice? Continue to be the bankers bitchez or stand together as a people and face some unpleasentness unified, with heads held up. As there will be no new negotiating Greece should look to the Icelandic solution as the way forward....the rest of us will follow in a little while.

This crisis has its roots in decades of dysfunctional government in Greece, based on patronage and privilege, borrowing recklessly to create a bloated public sector in exchange for votes. The Nea Demokratia / PASOK double-act has been passing the baton of office back and forth for their mutual benefit at the expense of the country for years. And now we are being told it is the Germans' fault, and all those 'orrible nasty Eurogroup ministers, even though it is THEIR taxpayers who have been bailing out this rotten apple with gererous (yes, generous) terms. No wonder the Germans are now saying "wir haben genug!!!" Their shouts may not be as loud or colourful as those in Athens but they are 100 times more justified.

in 1989 the Berlin wall came down prior to that 3 million east Germans went for a picnic in Hungary. not a shot was fired. a peaceful revolution took place. Greeks are Europeans. this is a European problem. 14 nations agreed to a joint dinner. the bill needs to be split 14 ways. food for thought? tomorrow tsipras says free airfare free petrol free boat trips to the capitals of Europe for the Greek people, only need a passport for free movement of goods and people in Europe. now each country has to give a house food and benefits to the Greeks, say 100,000 per city think that would wake up the leaders. butt twitch time.
