So what do the Greek banks and Hitler have in common?
"Last week the Greek government imposed capital controls to prevent cash from escaping from the Greek banking system, which is on the brink of collapse. These repressive financial measures, which were invented by "Hitler's banker" Hjalmar Schacht in the 1930s, include the closing of banks, limiting cash withdrawals from ATMs to 60 euros ($67) per day, and the banning of all money transfers via credit and debit cards to accounts held in foreign countries.
Despite these Draconian controls, Greek banks continue to hemorrhage cash and, after yesterday's referendum, it is probable that the daily limit on withdrawals from ATMs will be tightened. Worse yet, the reeling Greek public suffered another shock yesterday when Deputy Finance Minister Nadia Valavani revealed to Greek television that the government and banks had already agreed that people would also not be allowed to withdraw cash from safe deposit boxes for as long as the controls were in place."

there are no natural samples of "pure" water.

contaminants being, perhaps the "corruption"
of the pure water that actually makes the water
palatable and nutritious with trace amounts
of mineral elements. he told me that
manufactured "pure" water actually is received
very poorly by those who have tasted it.
sounds right to me even if it is an urban legend.

one might ask the question "which european country and countries
are the recipients of the largest debt forgiveness in the last
75 years?" then which countries are opposed to the current idea
of restructuring or forgiving the fraudulently induced and criminally
reallocated "greek" debt? do you see the quisling pattern writ

That's an apt description. When I lived in South Carolina, I used to enjoy kayaking on the manty blackwater rivers and streams. Quiet, solitude, beauty. The only people I'd see were the infrequent black women bank fishing for the night's dinner. But those mocassins. I'd be weaving in and out of the bald cypresses when I'd come across a bunch of mocassins - a dozen of them - and I'd skeedaddle back out to the main course of the river. Those damned things would take chase, against a kayak! They're fearless to the point of stupidity, and I wouldn't want to fall within their reach. Just like the central bankers.
