There's No Hope For A Deal "Priced In" Greek Bank Bonds
With equity markets jumping vertically on every possible 'hope' of a deal - no matter what the consequence - we look to the asset class that is a) not driven by headline-reading algos and HFT, and b) is by far the most sensitive to reality - Greek Bank Bonds... and they are carnaging!!
This is the asset to watch to judge 'hope' in Greece... not the S&P 500!!

Not sure why anyone would believe the EU is going to cut these folks loose. They'll get bailed one way or another.
"KLUDGE" is the operative word to the New World Order's handling of the Greek problem, of the China stock crash problem and of the NYSE imminent plunge problem. In other words, more rigging of the world economy.
There is just a ONE-in-a-Million chance that they pull thru...
So... you're saying that there's a chance!
Yes, so BTFD so that you don't miss out.
The only way that Greece can rid of the EU plug that is super glued in their butt is if they get up the gumption to yank it out themselves with a large vice grips, treat the initial bleeding with alcohol soaked gauze, and tolerate the pain until it naturally heals.
Maybe this is an extreme metaphor, but it is not too far off the mark.
The Germans know Merkel sold them out. She is toast. Anyone associated with this Frankenstein will be singled out and tossed out of office as well. Politically, this is "low hanging fruit".
The only way Merkel _might_ survive (and she may not want to, she really believed in the United States of Europe, with the common currency, anthems, flag, etc.) is if she offers the Germans a return to the DEM.

Yes - just playing the fools maybe one more time.... or maybe two or three.
Yeah they will.
Bailed in.
No mention of Greece or China on the nightly news the last two nights, the plebs are unaware.
even if it was explained clearly, they would still be unaware.
To modernize Mark Twain,
"Anyone who does not watch the news, is un-informed.
Anyone who does watch the news, is mis-informed."
Sorta like hot mid August Saturday night drunken carousing wearing a KKK outfit in Compton?
BTW, the Supreme Court wears black robes and scare white people, so there.
lol
You don't get a physical certificate anymore,
so they won't even work for toilet paper.
Is that ever a verb?
Yes, in PIIGS Latin.
not worth a penny imo
of course central bankers set the price of everything so it doesn't really matter what i (or anyone) thinks
But they will never, ever, be declared in default,
because that would be "inconvenient."
UNLESS .... Goldilocks, TheMorgue and Citi are on the collecting end a la AIG, et al.
The stability of Greece is vital for both the United States and the Transatlantic community, US State Department Deputy spokesperson Mark Toner told reporters on Wednesday, when asked about the impact of a potential Grexit from the Eurozone on the…

BillyBobs buying the dip; so should you and it's going to take a lot of Greek dips to make up for that one that got away (China).
What would be wrong with Greek companies paying their employees in bitcoin all the conversios, deductions. etc.. could take place with the computer software. The employees personal accounts could be in Hong Kong or wherever they choose and that way they wouldn't have to worry about banks closing or any of that. Is that like too difficult or something.
S&P 500 going to hell in a handbasket, just at a slower drop. China's collapse is what will be the big reason US market tanks.
Uhmerika stawks drop? not in this lifetime and if there is a dip, buying opp...

Marc Faber Greece is Basically Bankrupt http://foxmuldar-conservative-thinker.blogspot.com/2015/07/marc-faber-gr...
Basically bankrupt. Kinda like being a little bit pregnant.
Greece has to be rescued by a nation that can print currency without much adverse effect.
That means they have three possible rescuers: Brussels, USA or China.
Brussels isn't playing ball without a change of regime.
USA will require serfdom to the IMF and militarization.
China will require default on existing debts and will pay only for future expenses, and will not pay for repayment of existing debt.
Greece must choose its poison or descend into failed state (which is by default change of regime).
"If we only had a Navy" (we could repo Crete)
'Carnaging'... like it! But pretty sure somebody is makening that word up.
