While We Were Offline - The Market Broke, Was Fixed (Stocks Slumped), & Broke Again
This morning we experienced an unprecedented surge in traffic which brought our servers to a grinding halt. We are happy to announce that we are now back up. In the meantime... a pre-emptive attempt at plunge protection (by breaking NYSE just like on Monday) failed as NYSE re-opens and stocks slumped. Seeing this, the NYSE decided to break again and stocks ripped...
Monday, we saw the market break and stocks soar instantly to unchanged on the week as volatility was crushed. Amid all the carnage overnight, the SNB stepped in to save Europe and now The NYSE appears to have done its best to save American markets... by breaking... However, shortly after the cash open, it was fixed and the selling pressure was unleashed.

The issues were resolved shortly after the market open... and this happened...

No computer system that breaks that often can be considered reliable, unless of coarse the breaks are intentional. I bet a good investigative journalist could write a very revealing story about this. If of coarse he doesn't commit suicide while doing his/her investigation.
The markets are NOT halted, they are only halted for everyone else. The investment banks like GS, MS are getting the fuck out of dodge while everyone else is stuck in dodge.
First it was United Airlines, then ZeroHedge, then the NYSE and now they are saying the WSJ website went down. Sounds like the Chinese are trying to crash our systems in order to divert attention away from the train wreck that is the Chinese stock market. Sounds far fetched, maybe not.
Look at how much the markets are down right now. This is exactly how the flash crash started. I hope I'm wrong.
Exactly...think of this...I have suspicions that the US (through investment banks like GS, MS, JPM) has a hand in skying the Chinese stock markets by allowing Short selling to occur just as the retail sheeps in China were gobbling up all the shares it can get. Its obvious that those sheeps dont even know what shorting is as they are new to the game, which allows these effin investment banks to rape these sheeps as the markets started to crumble. The Chinese are getting back at the US for all this, obviously its behind the scenes and this is all speculation but it makes perfect sense.
