Nigel Farage Destroys EU Group-Think: "There's A New Berlin Wall... And It's Called The Euro"

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Simon Black via Sovereign Man blog,

Standing before the European Parliament yesterday, it took Nigel Farage just four minutes to completely destroy every argument supporting the Eurozone.

A few years back when he spoke at one of our Sovereign Man events in Santiago, he anticipated everything that we’re seeing right now.

Today it’s not nearly as controversial to say that the Eurozone experiment has failed. Anyone aware of what’s happening in Greece should say the same. But very few people really understand why.

As Nigel explains in the video below, right from the start, the system was never intended to help the Greek people.

Greece entering the euro was great for Goldman Sachs. But terrible for Greeks. It chained the country to a system in which it didn’t belong.

And what about all the bailout money that’s been thrown at Greece in the time since?

None of it actually went to the Greek people. It went to bail out the French, German, and Italian banks who own Greek debt.

Sure, social welfare drags an economy underwater. But corporate welfare is what really drowns it.

Since the crisis, the country’s debt to GDP has gone from 100% to 180%. Tensions have skyrocketed, and the Greek people are suffering.

(Last night Zerohedge published footage of Greek people on the island of Lesvos raiding a food truck. Shocking.)

They are the ones that now have to bear the burden of a stagnant economy, capital controls, and inflation.

None of these measures have worked. And just watch as Nigel destroys this dangerous euro groupthink in four minutes.

Who threatened him and with what, I wonder, if he agreed to leave the EU.

Would also be a little complicated for NATO if Greece left the EU and decided to make deals with the EEU.

Democracy, the Will and Consent of the People, and "the facts" are racist, antisemitic, and anti-immigrant.

That is, they are contrary to Jewish hegemony over a mongrelized West dependent on them for money, ethics, and culture.

Jewish.... not "Zionist".

What is now clear is that the whole of Europe has caved in to  ABANDON the line of Schauble/Merkel/

Even Donald Tusk says that Grexit is "not on". This means that they have ALL done the MATH and know that the market turmoil after Grexit will cost CORE EU, and also UK/USA, more than debt reduction and interest moratorium for Greece. Now the only impediment are the RULES of the EU which don't allow debt release (but we all know that rules can be broken by those who make them; aka Mutti, if she is really cornered).

http://www.theguardian.com/business/live/2015/jul/09/greek-crisis-reform...

Even Sarko, who was hardliner on Greece now says : its obvious Greece needs debt reduction !

Hahaha, these Oligarchy shills have NO MEMORIES And no conscience. They say one thing and its opposite when the wind turns; as Obama and IMF (Lagarde is on that same page as she owes her job to Obama's blessing) now root for compromise in EU and its hard titty for Mutti.

Even Draghi is saying  : this time round it will be difficult to put a THIRD bail out package; without the EU taking its part of the responsibility; aka they have to mandate me with their (German) backup for me to put the back room plays in place and use QE to efficient effect. I CAN'T DO IT ON MY OWN. ECB is just an empty shell if Mutti does not back me up.

Well there we are : Tsipras pulls his pants down and EU pulls their collective pants down and Schauble goes back to sulking on his chair and Mutti to go say "Nein, NEin, Nein" elsewhere (maybe to Nato and Ukraine).

And the world avoids a Grexit and we kick the can some moar until Obama's successor, Mutti and Hollande come up for election around end 2016....Meanwhile the next hot potato in EU will be BRexit !

WOWA CAMERON!  Nigel Farage on rampage!

Ain't the Oligarchy a reasonable gang on this Titanic?

Play on musicians!

So...the Greeks share no blame?  Its a socialist welfare state!

The bailouts of the various European banks were for monetary debts for cash given to Greece that allowed them to pretend their economy worked.

Socialist, maybe.  Early pensions, yes.

But here's the rub:  The big banksters hurled 245 Billion Euro debt onto Greece (in the bailouts of 2010 and 2012), which is about 2/3 of the debt owed.  And most MSM won't acknowledge this.

Read this:

http://www.infowars.com/the-troika-swindle-greeks-owe-nothing/

Excerpt from the article:

“One of the reasons that everybody is so determined to keep Greece in the euro is so that the banks do not have to take a serious hit on their faulty lending policies,” Nigel Farage, Member of the European Parliament from the UK Independent Party, told RT in 2011. “It is almost as if there is an unholy alliance of politicians and bankers versus ordinary people.”

P.S.  I'm all for the Greeks leaving the Euro, and re-establishing their own currency and taking back their nation.  I'm wishing that the American People would stand up to our own Federal Government and the corruption, lies, and banksters that are ruining the US as well...

Simon Black is conveniently (convenient to his rigid ideology) forgetting how Nigel Farange concluded this speech:

Farage called on Tspiras to leave the Euro, and take on responsibility for building a more-independent Greece.

YEAH. RIIIIIIIIIGHT. Like THAT is something a corrupt Socialist would *want* to do.

It would have been more accurate for Farage to tell Tsipras,

"Bugger off, you Southern Parasite, and take your loan-bleatings eslewhere."

If Greece exits the Euro (which IMHO it should), they, like the first kid off a spinning Merry-Go-Round, will be the healthiest.

Each nation that gets off after them, will be hurling chunks for a much longer period of time.

Ha ha,most people missed it."German and French Banks give Greece a credit line so they can buy Tanks and German Subs".If the Euro blows apart so does NATO.Also alot of teenage hookers in the coffee shops of Brussels will be unemployed.NATO and the IMF and the UN keep American Banking influence alive on the European mainland. When the US want a crucial vote in the UN,they round up all the small African states in debt to the IMF and say"we wanna buy your vote,we will forgive your ten years of arrears to the IMF,and we will give a big discount on your purchase of these knackered F-4 Phantoms". The CIA must be firing guys left and right in their Greek section. They massively fumbled the ball on the political scene in Greece, handing out bags of money to the wrong people. They could not have screwed this up more if they had planned it this way (or did they?!).

Nigel is the only one speaking about this issue for going on ten years now.

Ron Paul has been banging on about abolishing the FED for three decades.

Both have been voices in the wilderness, but inspiring nonetheless.

What Farage forgets - if we are talking about solutions for Greece and the EU - is that the ECB could buy all EU souvereign debt as part of QE, something no other central bank can do. It would allow Germany to raise wages (absolutely necessary), which will make China happy, and as part of an economic rebuilding programme Germany could offload some of its industries to lower-wage countries, i.e. Spain and Greece. All happy, win-win. Of course, farage is only in it for the money, not solutions. Cameron is already taking the UK out of the EU so Farage is a sitting duck.

Behind the Greek Debt
by Thierry Meyssan

The current debate about the Greek debt has given rise to all sorts of threats, first of all against Tsípras’ government, then against the Greek voters. Without becoming involved in a discussion of the repugnant side of this affair, Thierry Meyssan observes the international campaign against Greece leaving the Euro zone. He shines a light on the historic project of the European Union and the Euro, as they were formulated in 1946 by Churchill and Truman, and concludes that in the end, Greece is trapped by the international geopolitical environment and not by its economic situation.

The Greek referendum provoked some sharp debates in the European Union, which illustrates the prevailing state of ignorance about the rules of the game. The participants tore each other to pieces in their attempt to decide whether or not the Greeks were responsible for their debt, although they were always careful to avoid accusing their creditors of usury. But they affronted one another ignorant of the history of the Euro and the reasons for its creation.

The root of his argument is that different countries have different cultures - i.e work ethic.

Which is the same root problem we have in America - the free shit crowd has a 'culture' of entitlement.

And the powers of the WORLD ... yes, the great powers of the WHOLE WORLD are behind the Free Shit Army, relentlessly funding his causes, and supporting his every demand...because an America with the Free Shit Army in charge looks a lot like the former African colonies, like South Africa in particular.

And the fact that the USA is 13% black, rather than 85% black as was SA, effects only the timeline required for them to import the required number of bodies to implement their agenda.

And why? WHY?

Because these people feel that they were more powerful before there was a US, and believe things will be better for them when it is gone.

And to them I say, "You are wrong about that.  You forgot that before we were here troubling your plans, we were there in your countries troubling your plans. Take careful measure of the changes in the productivity and lifestyle of the world that came from the US and its influence.  And realize that in turning it to destruction you will get a greater level of destruction in the world from the US's fall than you previously got creation during its rise...because destruction is always easier."

WHY is the question (answer is he also works for the banksters is just sounding off as per his orders to keep up another zionist jew based myth that "we have an effective opposition)

With mankind and all cultures and societies it is always the same issue that is never addressed and it is the "moral issue" or lack of morality.  The US has removed the fixed moral standards it was founded upon and has gone so far as to legislate immorality.  For example, when is it ever a persons choice to murder an innocent child and say it is moral, for if you are pregnant, then it is a baby.  When did homosexual only water fountains appear or homosexual bathroom only appear or when was a homosexual told to sit in the back of a bus, the issue is the moral fabric and it is now decided by relativism, which changes with every wind of culture.  We have digressed and it is just beginning to be seen openly, but the heart and minds of people are already so corrupt that the destiny is already written.

------------------

The only good news & only real news needed is that God in His love for mankind offers the gift of salvation to whosoever comes with a repentant heart and humbles themselves before Him and asks the one who paid the price, Jesus, to forgive and set an everlasting and true love upon them.  People hate that message because people hate the truth and would rather believe a lie(s).  People believe they are better than other or superior based on accolades and pocket-books, which is to toss out logic and reason altogether.  People have used emotional bias as a pretense for logic and rational...it is why man has practiced genocide and euginics till this day and is the natural end-game for another lie called macro-evolution of Darwinism and it goes on...people hate truth and love lies because it suits their very nature, the core problem.

Farage is truly a moron if he thinks the eurozone wasn't absofuckinglutely fanfuckingtastic for the Greeks. He could, maybe, you know, just ask the fucking Greeks themselves, who continue to overwhelmingly favor the euro. Gee, I wonder why that could be... but then again I also wonder why poor people love credit cards and why anyone would want to have access to the global oil market.

The Greek calculus is very simple: no euro = no more free shit.

"the system was never intended to help the Greek people."

and yet that's exactly what it did, it gave them unearned and undeserved economic prosperity, and they promptly used that to destroy themselves. A story as old as civilization.

"They are the ones that now have to bear the burden of a stagnant economy, capital controls, and inflation."

Gee maybe that's because they've been living so far beyond their organic means for so long with such aversion to any form of fiscal, economic, civil/governmental, or social responsibility and discipline, demanding everything and but refusing to pay for it.

Greece produces nothing the world markets want, but continues to consume huge amounts of fossil fuels. That is their entire problem and not a single one of them knows it. Greece is hardly alone, merely first.

I see the Euro defenders have felt need to do battle on this one. Okay, I read all your great defenses of the EU project and it's Euro currency. But you always forget one thing when you defend it, you forget to take into account how economies work in Europe. You think by magic wand you can wave it over all of Europe and create one mega state with common currency, and common government in Brussels. Brussels has hundreds of lobbiests for every sitting member,, I think it is 400 or so. All lobbiests hand out goodies to members, so each member has 400 people trying to bribe them, and then each member has 100% coverage of their communications by the NSA. Wow! That is some deomocracy you have built.

You let Greece in, when Grece did not meet the entry rules. Why! You have a union that breaks it's very founding principles? Yes. And the EU banks, you defend them? Christ is that a joke. They made loans that should not have been made, to a nation that should not be in the EU. You wanna defend that!

Fuck! Your precious Euro and EU, what is it really? It is a mechanism to destroy representative democracy in each nation and allow the super state to override the people, all in favor of banker and corporate power.

Sure, if you are a banker, a corporate executive, an employee of the EU  or a sitting member in Brussels, I can understand you overriding desire to defend that project. And in the end, Brussels is just a puppet of Washington. The NSA has seen to that. Brussels is really the political arm of NATO, an American institution and arm of the US military project. Alone each nation in Europe can have a foreign policy and a currency system to match the people's needs and wants. Under Brussels dictatorship you have the same shit hole dictatorship that plauges America in the year 2015. But that is what you really defend isn't it? Washington and Israel and their mega power status.

I agree with Nigel Farage re: his comments. I think in this context his political affiliations don't mean much. I look at this only in context of his speech. He is the ONLY critic that gets real media coverage. He stated his position loud and clear. He called them out and he's just ahead of the mood of things to come. A trender is what he is. In history things often stay quiet for a long time and then they break and break bad. Personally, I think the EU was a bad idea from the start. These countries have strong identities - some are cultural, or language based but all have their individual identities. Look what happened to Yugoslavia... when it finally blew up there was a bloodletting that hadn't been seen since WW2. And at the end, they all went right back to their own language and customs. Serbs vs Croats and Moslem vs Christian.

It's very obvious that today's EU has turned into a creature far different from the beneign and well intended organization that they were in the beginning. They've turned on Greece like it was an enemy instead of a Member. They used Greece like a parasite uses it's host. The arguement that Greeks deserve what they voted for is rubbish. Samaris sure didn't deliver on what he ran for. The fact that the Troika used the Greek loans for money laundering to funnel 90% of the $$ back into their coffers is criminal and they should face a World Court in a  Nuremburg Tribunal setting. How could the EU possibly work? Germany is the industrial strongman, Greece is Greece. How are Latvia, Sweden and Romania going to benefit as member countries when there are such differences between them?

I think what galls these countries the most (not Belguim of course) is that somehow the EU functionaries have more authority than the  electedl Heads of State. They mandate 'one size fits all' regs and expect all member countries to take it and like it? Are they madmen?? as in crazy?

Not to leave any stones unturned, Google 'Jewish/Rothschild Central banks'. Among other tidbits you'll learn that as a financial advisor group they employ 3000+ people in 42 countries. No hate language here but they are extremely influential. As hardcore bankers it's always profits first and foremost. They take over a Central Bank and run it like a casino for themselves. Of course Farage is hated... along with Putin.  It's time for some housecleaning and long overdue. Perhaps someday countries will once again start enforcing laws and sending some of these crooks (and not just Rothschilds) to prison. We can look at the demise of the Ceausescu's in Romania as a good example of what can happen when people are pushed too far. And be optomistic that perhaps there may be consequences for 'The Banksters' to face after all.

Farage is not on the side of Greece, he is just against Europe and in particular the new Kaiser Angela. The old antagonism between the two great powers of Western Europe is coming out and Greece today is in the middle. He does not care less of Tsipras than a poor dog in the street, particularly a leftist dog. Farage is an English fascist and as such likes to talk tough. Definetly it was a rare occasion for attacking the old enemy that today is the new Eurpean great power (economically) while England is sinking in debt and irrelevance.
