Trump said something years ago on TV about Saddam being ok cos the guy knew how to hunt down and kill terrorists. It's one of the very few honest comments about Iraq/Saddam that i've ever heard a high profile American say. Unfortunately if he ever got into power and he was asked about that interview, he'd probably say something like "I was misquoted, Saddam was a menace and I would never do anything to jeopardise our friendship with Israel".

Yeah, a lot of that lately. This site has gone to shit in last year or so. Seems the Huffpo crowd discovered it and not its just a lot of nonsensical left wing BS and comments.

Time to GO GALT!

What is "Going Galt?"
  • "Going Galt" doesn't simply mean getting angry. That would be "Going Postal." It means having righteous indignation at the injustice of a political system that bails out individuals and institutions for irresponsible behavior and at the expense of those like you who prosper through hard work and personal responsibly.
  • "Going Galt" means asking in the face of new taxes and government controls, "Why work at all?" "For whom am I working?" "Am I a slave?"
  • "Going Galt" means recognizing that you're being punished not for your vices but for your virtues.
  • "Going Galt" means recognizing that you have a moral right to your own life, the pursuit of your own happiness, and thus to the rewards you've earned with your labor.
  • "Going Galt" means recognizing that you deserve praise and honor for your achievements rather than damnation as "exploiters."
  • "Going Galt" means recognizing that you do not need to justify your life or wealth to your neighbors, "society," or politicians, or bureaucrats. They're yours, period!
  • "Going Galt" means recognizing that the needs of others do not give them a claim to your time, effort, and achievements.
  • "Going Galt" means shrugging off unearned guilt, refusing to support your own destroyers, refusing to give them what Ayn Rand termed "the sanction of the victim." It means taking the moral high ground by explicitly rejecting as evil the premise of "self-sacrifice" that they sell to you as a virtue— in fact "self-sacrifice" is an invitation to suicide.

You know, it just occurs to me that you may really be on to something here.

Trump might just be enough of an a-hole to really stand apart from the crowd in the political theatre sense.  If he can get enough one-liners requoted at the water-cooler and on bumper stickers, he might just get enough folks out to vote who usually don't.

Imagine the State of the Union speech where he tells Congress to go F itself, and they walk out while he makes fun of them for being such a bunch of pussies. That would be sad if we had more than a small handfull of actual representatives.

Hispanics / Latinos are NOT A RACE. They are recongized the world over and especially in the EU as either Spanish white Europeans or simply as whte Europeans. The Hispanic identification is a US Government Construct in order to count Hispanics as a whole for the US Census, rather than counting everyone of Spanish descent seperately.

As most Hispanics are white, there can not be racism directed against them.

The thing I like about Trump, even though I frequently disagree with his views, is that he seems to be the one candidate not afraid to speak his mind. Very refreshing. And on some issues, like the immigration issue, he is absolutely right. They are destroying the country, courtesy of Democrats who want the votes and Republicans who want the cheap labor. Common man and citizen be damned.

Any choice on that list is better than Obozo or Hitlery, but I SURELY don't want another establishment candidate. Jeb, Rubio, Christie, Graham, Kasich, Pataki and Perry can all pack their bags and find another party IMO.

about trumps daughter:

"During college, she was in a nearly four-year relationship with Greg Hirsch. From 2001-2005, she was in a three and a half year relationship with James "Bingo" Gubelmann. In 2006, she was seen on a date with That '70s Show's Topher Grace.

In July 2009, after studying with Rabbi Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, Trump('s daughter) converted to Judaism and took the name Yael.  She subsequently keeps to a kosher diet and observes Shabbat, saying in 2015: "We’re pretty observant... It’s been such a great life decision for me... I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity. From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

On October 25, 2009, Trump married businessman Jared Kushner. Jared Kushner's father Charles Kushner owns Kushner Properties and Jared shares in the ownership. Jared is also the owner of The New York Observer in Bedminster, New Jersey. In July 2011, Trump gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Arabella Rose Kushner. In April 2013, Trump announced that she was pregnant with her second child. On October 14, 2013, she gave birth to a baby boy named Joseph Frederick Kushner."

about his grandparents:

"His Grandparents were from Germany, this is true. His Grandfathers name was Frederich Drumpf and he immigrated to the United States in 1885. It's entirely possible that he fled Germany during one of the many sad Anti-Jewish programms that Germany experienced between 1878 - 1900.

We can't be entirely certain, and it's possible that after the horrific experiences in the old country that he converted to Christianity, at least ostensibly. He did change his name to Frederick Christ Trump....

What we do know is that Frederich Drumpf died at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1918 (probably during the Pandemic Flu of 1918) and that in 1918 most hospitals in the United States were still segregated by race"

IMF's Blanchard: Expect US Rate Liftoff to be Smooth

By Heather Scott  Thursday, July 9, 2015 - 13:29

--Rate Liftoff Sept vs Dec Doesn't Matter from Macro Point of View

WASHINGTON (MNI) - The eventual move by the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates is expected to proceed smoothly, and the timing is not important from a macroeconomic perspective, International Monetary Fund Chief Economist Olivier Blanchard said Thursday.
 /.../
On the question of whether that U.S. slowdown will be repeated, Blanchard said, "The answer is unambiguous that for the most part this was a set of accidents," including port labor difficulties, weather, and slower-than-expected consumer spending.

"The fundamentals of the U.S. economy are very strong and the recovery is very much in train," he said, noting the recovery in the rest of the advance economies also continues to improve.

He stressed that observers should "not focus too much on the Greek events and the China stock market events," as they are minor relative to the global economy.

So there!   :-p

You know they are absolutely scared shitless of getting onto a debate stage with him. They can count on the others to play by "the rules" where they just dance around each other doing token jabs to give the appearance that they are boxing for the crowd.

Trump doesn't care and will say exactly what he wants - cutting through the politically correct groupthink like a hot knife through butter. They are right to be nervous, as most of them are completely worthless and have plenty to answer for in their records.

No matter what, its going to be entertaining. Think about the 2008 primary between Hillary and Obama where he dropped the statement about her being on the corporate board of Walmart, then she returned fire about his assocition with the Chicago slum lord Tony Rezko. That was about as heated as it ever got before they both realized that they were doing too much damage to one another. I expect every debate with Trump is going to be like that for the entire time. I can't wait.

The fact that another Bush is even allowed to run again, speaks volumes about the mentality and moral bankruptcy of America. I will vote for Rand Paul, no matter how much the MSM tells me not to.

I love how Trump speaks ill of Mexicans, and corporate America (media included) act like it will destroy him publicly, and yet his popularity with the people rises. It shows the deep disconnect with the people, and those who rule the media and the public sphere.

You can expect the Democrats to follow Obama - but what really has people upset is how little backbone McConnell and Boehner have even when both leaders have a majority. All the politically correct Republican Presidential candidates who have to take a poll to find out when they can take a sh*t should drop out now - as they will not stand up to their own party leaders in Congress!

The democrats are more wired than Trump, and the Re-Ponzi-licans. Trump is the only hype that the right can generate aside from warmongering IMHO. And Jade Helm 15 coincides with right wing re-Ponzi-lican influence in an electoral cycle. In brief, this election will be centered on Bush n' Clitoris so that the American people can see the twat that is American governance for what it really is, warts, and all.

While the media is quick to point out that a majority of Mexican immigrants are not drug dealers, what the media misses is the logical extension of how that majority feel about the Mexican immigrants who are drug dealers and criminals. The immigrants live in communities where they do not feel safe because of these 'bad' Mexicans. They see that nothing is being done to stop or to deport the criminals. They fear for their own children. They are potential Trump voters -- if Trump can establish a policy that lets Mexican families re-join and if they stay out of trouble, to let them eventually become citizens. If Trump goes whole hog to kick all immigrants out, he will have trouble in some states.

You refer to "immigrants", not illegal immigrants.  Is that because you are trying to fudge the issue, as leftists always do on this issue or you don't think its illegal to sneak into the country without authorisation?

Trump clearly has no problem with people who have immigrated legally.  His objections are only to those who have done so illegally.  He has already said all those who have broken the law (other than being in the US illegally) would be immediately ejected and that after building a wall that stops illegal entry he'll work out what to do with the rest.

The danger is that women tend to vote more than men.

Men dont give a shit.

Women seek security so they naturally go to govt (instead of their husband) for security like they been trained to with propaganda for the past 60 years.

You had something like 70 Million Women vote vs 60 Million men in the last election.

There is the danger of Hillary being elected.

Everyone with a brain knows if Hillary is elected its about time to abandon ship.... the country will not survive such a megalomaniac in power. . . . and it has nothing to do with her being a woman, I would gladly vote for a woman if she had some morals.

The country would pretty much be sold out overnight if she won. . .

I predict she will get about 40% of the votes, Trump will get like 35% Rand will get like 25%

The reason republicans will lose this election (if they lose) is because the republican side is always segmented (all the votes are being split up between too many candidates) while the democratic side only has . . .  like 1 candidate.

If you want a republican to win . . .  all but one candidate must drop out.

Its best if Rand Paul and Donald Trump run as a tag-team (President , + VP spot).

That being said.

Why cant all the republican candidates form a corporation together and run the country like a board of a corporation... (let the corporation run) for POTUS.

Corporations ARE PEOPLE in the eyes of the law.

Just pick a 35Year old corporation XYZ corp incorporated in the USA and under the eyes of the law that corporation WAS BORN HERE AND IS OF AGE to run.

Get rid of the circus act, run the country with a board of electorates as POTUS...... no need for one useless candidate who cant get shit done.

Women are more prone to voting than men because instinctively women seek security.

Men dont give a shit so they probably wont vote unless there is some grand reward for doing so.

Hillary will probably win because the republicans have too many candidates diluting votes, while Hillary is pretty much the primary uncontested democratic candidate, so combining the fact that women will probably outvote men in this election, it is more likely she will win with such a segmented republican vote.

  • Republicans ------
  • Jeb Bush.
  • Ben Carson.
  • Chris Christie.
  • Ted Cruz.
  • Carly Fiorina.
  • Lindsey Graham.
  • Mike Huckabee.
  • Bobby Jindal.
  • George Pataki.
  • Rand Paul.
  • Rick Perry.
  • Marco Rubio.
  • Rick Santorum.
  • Donald Trump.
  • Democrats ------
  • Lincoln Chafee.
  • Hillary Clinton.
  • Martin O'Malley.
  • Bernie Sanders.
  • Jim Webb.

Way too many Repub candidates , the vote will be segmented and no one candidate will out-match hillary.

The comment about govt training women, is refering to the push by govt to make women abandon the household and work and vote and the push for govt to replace husbands as a source of support and security for women (plethora of govt programs, grants, education programs, pushing abortion, etc.. etc... perks for Women owned businesses etc... ), if you really dont see it . . . idk not gona delve too much into it.

You don't see it? It's indeed telling of your age, and even if you are 50-ish as me - it may show being naive. Now it doesn't mean that all women receive assistance from the Government. Someone close to my family confided she was denied assistance because of her white skin color. We honkys always get what we want, right? (laughing like Muttley)

But seriously, if you lived in the 70's or before and witnessed the increase in divorce - the women were often faced with lots of difficulty in obtaining work as they were expected to be married or receiving alimony. They would often be discouraged from divorcing due to security provided by the primary breadwinner of the home, even if he were a scumbag, abusive asshole who was likely abused by his own father and simply never connected the dots.

This is WTF we are referring to!

Trump is a loud-mouth statist schmuck. If he can't keep his word with his 4 or 5 previous wives, how do you expect him to keep it to an entire nation? FFS he was a REGISTERED DEMOCRAT for 8+ years (2001-2009). He's like a Romney or a Jeb or a Hilldabeast. Do anything to get power.

Besides, he's flipped and flopped over the years and has ZERO actual conviction behind his words. He is an egomaniac and will do anything to have eyes on him, talking about him, listening to him. He reminds me of a slightly less despicable Hillary; willing to say or do anything to get attention and power.

Sanders is the only candidate who is not a hyper-interventionist.

Now either you think that matters a lot, or you don't - but the idea Sanders is a worse choice than Hillary or Jeb fucking Bush is absolutely absurd.

For fuck's sake you wave the word "socialist" in front of some people and all thought in their head ceases as they rush to flip on Fox news and comment on Drudge.

fuck you fucks - I mean the 2 party system itself is a basic problem, but it should be obvious that Sanders, who has no chance, and who is of course quite different in political worldview to most of us [me too] - is the least worst choice from the standpoint of the MIC, Wall Street - even Israel.

Sanders is less likely to take shit from Netanyahu or fear the ADL and AIPAC precisely because he is a Jewish guy.

I dunno. I don't get it. Of course his socialist shit sucks, but its not like he's going to deconstruct the Constitution or destroy what remains of the economy faster than Hillary or the compendium of hacks the GOP has come up with.

Rand Paul?

Amazing that Arizona can't help determine immigration status after reasonable suspicion of unlawful presence, AFTER an otherwise non-immigration-related stop.... because there has been SO MUCH illegal immigration because the US .gov won't enforce the law...that Arizona now has a huge Chicano population - the kids and grandkids, bona fide citizens, of illegal immigrants.

The moral of the story is - if you want it, just take it.
