You know we all kid about Donald Trump because of his personal idiosyncrasies, his hair, his big ego, and his past business dealings. I also think it would be difficult for him to win the election.
However, objectively, he is the only candidate that has been verbally tough enough to call out the realities that:
- We need to restore our manufacturing base by establishing a tariff regime on foreign (especially Chinese) goods, because at present it is not a level playing field, and service-only economies never make it.
- We need to deport all illegal aliens, penalize employers that employ them, control our borders, and modify our immigration regime to protect our people and culture. He even has proposed that Mexico pay for a border fence - now that takes guts!
- We need to dramatically shrink entitlement programs and welfare, re-coupling them with employment or other productive activity
If you solve these economic problems, a lot of the other problems go away.
No other candidate has been prepared to verbalize a tough solution to these problems - because they continue to comply with the globalization doctrine of the cabal. The Donald has problems as a presidential candidate, but objectively you have to give him credit for this.
This said I believe that his true relationship with the cabal may be uncertain due to his past business dealings - and presents an unknown risk factor that would need to be evaluated.
If you look throughout history, some very strange things have happened at political inflection points in our society. There is a remote possibility that even if Donald Trump is not elected, his candidacy and participation in the debates could act as a catalyst for dramatic change in this country.

We could have easily and cheaply electronic ALTERNATIVE election for alternative programs and ALTERNATIVE candidates (that never run for office and are unaffiliated with any political formation) who would commit to execute those political programs that can truly represent our political aspiration as a nation.
Such elections, followed all web practically no cost campaign on YouTube or elsewhere, protected via secure block chain technology guaranteeing accuracy since everyone would be able to check whether his/her vote was counted. At minimum it could be media event where Americans could voice their vision of America instead of contributing a sheeple fest.
The only choice we have for today is absolute boycott of elections as 150 millions of true American patriots are already doing and election after election vastly outnumbering electoral zombies of the American Oligarch Party in their inhumane march into poling/feeding stations to get their rotten meat and in the process to validate murder and mayhem done in our names.
For those who still think they can organize and win "their" election. Here is a gem. The fallacy of this sort of democracy is nowhere better illustrated than in case of Italy where for over 30 years after WWII Italian communist party alone or communist/socialist coalition WON EVERY SINGLE NATIONAL ELECTION and was never asked by president to form government resulting in 39 minority governments all under watchful eye of American protectors of democracy and US navy.

The ascendancy of Trump is an indication of the dis-satisfacion the base feels towards the (so called) GOP "leaders". Boner, Mc Connell and Priebus have created the perfect storm and Trump has set his sails for it.
Perhaps some other candidates will set their sails to take advantage of the storm.
I like that be is successful through his own hard work, with me, the i icing on the cake would be if he were a combat veteran, one that saw action, like Ike and Kennedy. The saw what war does to young men. When it had to be though, they saw it end with us the victors and our enemies fully surrendered

Unfortunately, the good guys(gooder???) don't allways win, so you ought not paint with that broad a brush as regards combat service. The military is commanded by civilian leadership by design. You use the flag of the Army of Northern Virginia as your avatars. They didn't win. Nathan Bedford Forrest was a civilian who came up through the ranks. Jefferson Davis was a military man, yet he managed to leave the war in the west in the incompetent hands of Braxton Bragg!!! Sometimes ideology is very important and excellent leadership arises from where it is least expected. Keeping an open mind may be a better guide and don't sell Rand short.

Prediction on the Republican nomination process going on currently in the US:
- Hillary is the most corrupt candidate on the ballot
- Sanders is a pure socialist, which is the LAST thing the US needs right now, but at least he tries to be philosophically consistent
- Republicans actually have some decent candidates like Scott Walker who could feasibly win the nomination
- Enter Donald Trump, who CLEARLY is not qualified to be President, as is evident by his extreme level of immaturity
- Trump is most likely working with the establishment Republicans to distract the people off these decent non-establishment Republican candidates
- Once he finally steps down, the other guys will have used up their advertising budgets, and Jeb will win the nomination by default
Either way, the US ends up with a Clinton or a Bush, and the same old corrupt bullshit continues on as before. There will be no detour for the US as it makes its way down the "Road to Serfdom"
