I have never seen an accounting of what things look like if Greece has no debt. Funds in, funds out. Is that sustainable? If yes, or if it is with some adjustments, then what are they waiting for? Stop meeting with the EU. Quit returning their phone calls. Do nothing. Give them nothing. Go about your business and stop asking for handouts and ignore them.
If no, then that means you are living too high above your means. Any individual knows you need to make more money (cut some deals with Russia and others) and/or cut expenditures.

When I first started working full time my boss used to go to the bank on Fridays and when he came back my pay was cash in an envelope with a list of deductions on a stub of paper.
.Gov and the large Corporations took away our ownership of the results of our labor. Direct deposit ensures .gov and those unfortunates who have garnishees are paid first.
Then the bank gets to make service charges against you for holding your money and dispensing of it. If you can't open a bank account, and there are reasons they won't open one for you without you being a criminal, you are screwed from making a living and people think this arrangement is fine. It isn't fine by me.
I see people on .gov's payroll retire early and in style while I am still working to survive. I hear about SEC workers getting paid for watching porn and nothing happens to them. I see cops parked at donut shops. On our time? By the way have you ever seen a cop keep to the speed limit when not in emergency mode? Very rarely, but wait till you hit their radar.
There will be a reset one day. The workers and producers against .gov, its employees and those at home watching tv all day while collecting .gov checks.
I work but don't get direct deposit and I don't have a bank account.
I have no guilt about how I live or choose to live. I have no problem in looking after those who are incapale of looking after themselves on this planet, but do have a problem with overpaying or supporting those that are capable of looking after themselves but who prostitute themselves for easy street.

The problem with this cartoon is that in Greece, good luck finding someone who actually pays taxes. Skipping out on taxes is common and enforcement is inconsistent where it exists at all.
