I am personally in favor of immigration for anyone from any country, race, or creed, who has an advanced science degree. I think in 2015 the idea that poor Mexicans have a "right" to not only be present but benefit from "free" education and health care is absurd.

Their is no real enforced law regarding immigration. It has been deliberately diluted to the point that no one really knows what laws are enforced and to what degree. While I support more border security, more walls and whatever else, this will not end or even slow until their is some real consequence to those who enter illegally.
All talk of immigration reform is to only reduce consequence to the illegals, not enhance it.
We should build concentration camps along the border, built with illegal labor and funded with diverted funds that would otherwise go to the Mexican government. These camps should be hell holes. A place that no person would willing go unless they were truly desperate, and every person caught crossing the border illegally would be put there until escorted back across the Mexican border. And if they are caught a second time they go to a prison of equal qualities.

As far as those already here, if they have a job, a real job with taxes being withheld, even if to a improper ID#, they can stay...under probation. A peculiar thing happened while my liberal sister and I were driving near a Black area of Johannesburg on our way back to Pretoria from RO Tambo International airport — Anne expressed a palpable fear of being in proximity to the very people she’d championed less than two decades earlier.

I soon followed suit as literally everyone in my family, apart from my uncle, who’s since moved to Ghana for work, returned home to their countries of origin.
Within minutes of seeing predominantly Black faces carousing in the forecourts of the shanty town shebeens dotted along the M57 roadside — the sole toll-free highway connecting Joburg’s airport with Garsfontein, Pretoria, I began to realise my sister wasn’t exactly in her comfort zone.
“Do we have to drive through here?” She asked, as I turned and looked at her.
“It’s the only road to Garsfontein from Joburg airport.” I responded. “How else do you want us to get back to Aunty’s?”
