Grexit Will Establish Berlin As The New Geopolitical Player To Reckon With

Tyler Durden's picture

Via GEFIRA - The European Perspective,

If European Monetary Authorities could prevent a Lehman moment in case Greece has to leave the Euro we expect the euro to surge the coming months. Greece exiting the European Monetary Union will establish Berlin as the new geopolitical player to reckon with.

  • We noticed that the euro did not move since news from Greece went from bad to worse. The Greek referendum has even had a negative effect on the Dollar compared to the Japanese Yen.
  • Without Greece, the EMU forms a much tighter political and economical block.
  • It seems that markets are not able to push the Euro much lower.
  • If the ECB is able to manage a Greek exit, an EMU without Greece will strengthen the EURO.

Greece exiting the EMU will be a victory for German elite and establish German dominance in the European Monetary Union.

  • A Greek exit will expose the relative weakness of the BRICS Bank versus European financial institutions like the EMU. The BRICS Bank fund will not be sufficient to rescue Greece. A BRICS bank not being able to help Greece will expose its relative weakness in comparison to the European financial institutions. It will be clear that only the ECB and the EMU have the financial capacity to solve problems of the magnitude of Greece.
  • If Germany does not save Greece, it will be a blow to the IMF that will render irrelevant as a paper tiger (???) unable to solve modern financial problems without the help of the European financial institutions. The IMF is not able to solve Greece’s financial problems and turned out to be ineffective in Ukraine, having an embarrassing tradition of failures in this country. A Greek exit will be a huge blow to the standing of the IMF.
  • Without Greece, Germany could concentrate on Ukraine, which has more value for Germany’s power elite.  Germany, Poland and Ukraine encompass an area of 160 Million inhabitants.
  • Germany will push the EMU in a continuous trade surplus creating a much higher demand for euros world wide. We do not believe the dollar can maintain its dominance by creating a continuous deficit.
  • A Greek exit will be evidence that the US and IMF influence on Berlin is waning.

We do not express our opinion on the validity of Germans policy nor the moral implication of the EMU policy.

But isn't it then stuck with Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireand and France?

What's left?

Berlin is already in ascent.

It wasn't even 5 years ago that the Americans would complain that if the POTUS needed to speak to Europe it wasn't clear who he had to speak to.

Today there is absolutely no doubt that Merkel is that person.

The Chancellor of Deutscheland rules over the worlds largest trade surplus. Trade is the basis of geopolitical power.

Germany no longer feels shame for WWI and WWII as the veterans are mostly dead and Germany is now ruled by the post war generation.

German culture is a dangerous thing. They are the most productive people and they know it. That's why Churchill said the rest of us have to bomb them every generation or so.

Anyone who thinks Americans are arrogant with political power and industrial might has lived in a uni-polar world for too long.

Germans are lazy as fuck and don't work half as hard as the typical America.  I worked 12 hours today.  Germans worked 0 hours today.  I will work 12 hours tomorrow (Sunday) and you can't even go buy milk in Germany on a Sunday.  The myth of German "hard work" is a ridiculous lie that only someone that has never lived in Germany amongst Germans could EVER believe.

Germans work like Germans.  Das ist gut!  Aber, Americans work like slaves, because we are slaves.

Exactly.  Get rid of Greece and the PIIGS turn into the PIIS with an F.  This analysis only works if Germany is willing to ditch the Euro and pivot towards Russia and all of its natural resources.  That Washington's influence is waning is true (which is why it is becoming so dangerous,) but Greece is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to EU debt.

The Euro is primarily a symbol of the European integration project: To bring all European nations together into a "United States of Europe", as it were. This is why there exists no legal way for a country to leave the Eurozone once it has joined. Membership is supposed to be permanent.

Ergo, if a country were to leave the Eurozone, that principle of ever closer integration will be left in shambles. This is why a Grexit remains unlikely in my opinion.

Washington will do anything, including “overthrow or assassination,” to keep the Greeks as “vassals” and prevent them from cozying up to the Russians. And the unspoken implication of that idea is this: if the EU and Greece fail to come to terms like Washington demands, Washington will follow through on their threats of overthrow/assassination to keep their “empire” from collapsing.

A typical German worker makes 34,000 Euro a year and pays 54% in taxes between all their various taxes they rape workers with (VAT, income, reunification, holocaust reparations, etc.).  Trust me, they aren't exactly living high on the hog over here.

Furthermore, many surveys and studies have shown that Germans are the poorest people in Europe because in even shit countries like Slovenia the typical person owns a home which is worth some insanely inflated value like 500,000 Euro.  70% of Germans rent their entire lives and own nothing.  Their net worth is garbage.  They are basically slaves.

The US and UK, along with the other Five Eyes nations, will leverage their cultural similarities and economic strengths to form a new alliance spread across the oceans, which we might call "Oceania."  The EU, dominated by Germany, will spread across Europe and Asia, becoming a Eurasian Union, while China will unite East Asia into a third bloc.  Between these three powers, Oceaia, Eurasia, and East Asia, will form temporary and unstable alliances of two against the third, so that Oceania, for instance, will be at war now with Eurasia, now with East Asia, but this will in the end only serve to support the equality of the three powers and the internal coherence of each.

It will be clear that only the ECB and the EMU have the financial capacity to solve problems"

Brilliant deduction, but if you consider the brics bank has just been formed, and has just been capitalized for the very first time, with 100 billion, perhaps someone with a brain would already know the brics bank was not ready to tackle continent wide scale issues, like EU and Greece. Perhaps in a decade we should revist the role of the brics bank, which has just been born.

Remember the great IMF, they were on life support until the 2008 crisis, and they were loaded up with newly printed money!

I believe the difference I pointed out is not subtle at all.  I don't know much about this subject however, true.

Is it not a sign of weakness to have to rely on the currency of the country you are supposedly challenging ?  Or  are you saying the 100 billion dollar capitalization of that Brics bank are not real dollars ?

As for the currencies that will actually be used between those countries, how does that work and why is that important ?

I think what this article said was that the BRICS Development bank was broke and could not help Greece. Well, if the BRICS Bank is broke how did they go broke without ever having made a loan? Also, there is no way in hell the Greek authorities would let a catastrophic situation take place. If push comes to shove Tsipras will beg for help from China and Russia. Catholics in Croatia and Slovenia, and Orthodox Christians in Serbia all know (and have told me) that the Muslims are actively practicing Demographic Warfare, what some call "Revenge of the Cradle".

This is Exactly what happened in Serbia's homeland: Kosovo. In a period of about less than 40 years, the Albanian Muslims went from a 25% minority to a 90% majority.  If a Serbian farmer didn't sell after several attempts at FMV, then Albanian Lightning would strike the barn, and they'd sell then.

These Albanian Muslims live in compounds, have 8-16 kids per family, and operate on tribal principles.  Half the males are sent to various places in Western Europe, where they set up "shop" (a trade by day and a vice-trade by night), and from where they send money back home to the ruling Family Patriarch.  It's like the Dark Ages, right in the middle of Europe.  The Albanian Mafia is well known for its trade in all forms of Vice: sex, drugs, human and organ trafficking.  Thanks, Clinton and Albright!

Because the EMU is able to print Euros, that of course suck wealth upwards and devalue the currency across the largest global economy, whilst the BRICS Bank is made up of a few fiat currencies that cannot.

Once the BRICS go commodity backed, we'll see who's relatively weaker :-)

Wrong.

There are many of us.

True Christianity has existed since Christ, and it is a journey in this temporal life.

Some "christians" become Christians, over time, by continued learning.

All Christians are identified, not by name, but by real faith.

It is that faith that makes all the difference.

The E.U. is the continuation of the Pan-European Union which was being discussed prior to WW1. WW1 and WW2 were largely fought to eliminate powers that were clinging to national sovereignty through tribal ties or monarchical lines of heredity.

One of the founders of the Pan-European Union was this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Nikolaus_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi

"In 1932 Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi composed a preface for a new edition of his father's condemnation of antisemitism, reissued by his own publishing house. In 1933 he responded to the ascendance of National Socialism by collaborating with Heinrich Mann, Arthur Holitscher, Lion Feuchtwanger, and Max Brod in writing and publishing the pamphlet Gegen die Phrase vom jüdischen Schädling (Against the Phrase 'Jewish Parasite')."

In his book Praktischer Idealismus (Practical Idealism), he wrote:[41]

“The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today's races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paneuropean_Union

The flag of the European Union is the same as the Pan-European Union with the removal of the cross because, you know, fuck Christianity and Jesus they have no place in today's Europe.  Coudenhove-Kalergi has a monument at his gravesite in Switzerland that says (in French), "A Champion of the United States of Europe."
