Tsipras or not the Greeks will agree to everything the EU nad IMF is asking for ... then, once the money in a (Greek) bank, they will spend it anyway they want and will never pay it back while having a good laugh at the EU morons.

It's all over. Apple just saved Greece and found a market for its shitty watch:

From the UK Telegraph live blog:

On a lighter note, Apple comes bearing gifts: Capital controls that have shut Greeks off from its services, so it's giving them free iCloud access for the next 30 days.

Let's see if things are resolved by then...

The Troika is doing to Greece what the US does to countries in the ME, Africa, and Asia - installing puppets. I think if this is true, it is to protect Tsipras, for whatever reason, before the next round of bailouts and more serious capital controls. They will throw in a Goldman-friendly puppet next, and he will negotiate along till the third, fourth, fifth bailouts... until there's nothing left to sell or leverage. The people will burn that fool.

This is all pointless.

Greece is going to default and the only questions are:

  1. When?
  2. Who, if anyone, is going to get how many pennies on their dollars?

Thats it.  Anything else is simply delaying the inevitable and each delay makes the eventual reckoning that much worse for all parties.

Greece: Pay what you can, apologize for the rest and start over.

Europe: Get what you can now, and learn from your mistake.

Sun, 07/12/2015 - 20:47 | 6304312 blackhand

No one is "induced" to debt.  That is a cop out and an excuse.  The Greeks, and if fact all of those in debt, made the choice to borrow money, period.

Only when they can't or do not wish to pay it back do they start complaining.

If you borrowed it, sack up and pay it back.  If you can't, at a minimum, sack up and say so.  Repeat after me: "I fucked up and can't pay you back, I'm sorry."

Quit blaming something else for your poor judgement and/or poor fortune.

Life happens, deal with it.

Boxed Merlot's picture

No one is "induced" to debt...

But there are those who are born into slavery.  This is not a cop out or excuse.  People the world over have accepted the use of privately issued debt instruments produced by others in order to be allowed to conduct trade with one another.  Furthermore, these selfsame persons controlling currencies have been allowed to create laws enforced at the pain of death to anyone that dares attempt to trade outside of their purview.

So, I guess it has to do with what the definition of “induced” is.  I hold the belief that the one that makes the rules, and gets others to obey, gets the gold.

Furthermore, that these same interests find it not only profitable but necessary to control the dispensing of information should come as no surprise, as they continue to fund both and all sides of any conflict that has the end result of entrenching their own power and weakening any opposition.  No news here.

The only real news is the approach to the slave / master paradigm taught by one of their own (who was ostracized at the time), in the first century when he taught members of the Christian community living on the western coast of Turkey:

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;  not with eye service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;  with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:  knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.  And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.  Ephesians 6:5-9

You are both dumb fucks.  They were neither induced, nor was it a choice.

It was a pact between traitorous corrupt politicians and banksters, who bribed them.  That is why the debt is invalid and can be defaulted with no dishonor.  Best if you can then hang the perps to make sure it doesn't happen again.

In Keynes foreward (the German edition) he was quite blunt about where his "theory" could most easily be adopted. It was in a totalitarian regime, he said so at the time.

His "theory" never had anything to do with equalized/competing market forces or as we say laissez faire capitalism...it was always with state control, that is to say, the state picking winners & losers.

Its right there in black & white, the state & bankers.

Look at Krugmans ramblings now, the "European project" is in peril!!!

What does that even mean if not the state & banking?

Not trying to be an apologist for what his theories wrought.  But taken academically, in their most simplest and direct terms I can see the merit of the theory.  If it boiled down to save all optional infrastructure expansion for recessionary periods, I'm sure even you could get behind such a simple philosophy.  Krugman and his ilk have taken the worst of his theories and tripled down on them in a way I don't think the man himself would endorse.  That's all I'm saying.

I understand what you're saying, I just don't believe his intentions were pure and they were wrong as proven by "stagflation". He was a Fabian socialist (any socialism involves government), making him a leftwing statist coming from a culture of kings & queens & state.

For crissakes he accepted a "lordship", the only revolutionary thing he ever did was blur the line between theft and charity.

Agreed. I have no trust for anyone who writes "manifestos" claiming the world's ills can be cured by giving those with power even more power. So in that way, yeah, Keynes was Just another asshole.

That said I can only imagine if we had a government with any semblance of integrity who would have said "Wall St fucked up so we're letting them go broke. Your savings will remain valid and to offset the economic activity associated with the previous mal-investment the US government will be issuing debt free money to finance the construction of a coast to coast fiber network to your door. All existing recons will have complete and equal access to this backbone to offer you content in a truly free market."

Can you imagine the torrent of economic activity that would have unleashed? Think of the opportunities for working people as asset deflation took hold? Income and wealth stratification would have been crushed as the entrenched interests could do nothing to stop the price discovery that would destroy their paper wealth and power.

One can dream...

Nation wide fiber is good, but rolling out fuel-less energy to every home, business, and vehicle would be an enormous economic advantage tha would rapidly pay for itself.

Collectively, the world has spent hundreds of $Trillions buying coal, oil, and nuclear fuel for energy over the last 100 years. Nikola Tesla introduce fuel-less energy more than a century ago. Others like Tom Bearden, Floyd Sweet, Stan Meyers, Bill Alek and many others followed with their own fuel-less energy devices.

For anyone who questions the reality of these devices, ask yourself what is the energy source of the ETVs identified in the Disclosure Project.

I didn't say the other mainstream media trash were telling the truth either. The other outlets often try to hide their lies a little more than Faux news where they know their viewership will buy about anything as long as it's not coming from the mythical and non-existent "liberal" media.

I just wrote it that way to see the assumptions and biases that would result. From the down arrows it looks like we have plenty of willing dupes in this place, but I knew that.

Obama Phone myth

Obama Christmas tree tax myth

The part that I find so funny is that the president doesn’t have any real power and can’t pass any law, tax, etc. etc. but somehow  ….. never mind not even worth it. All presidents are nothing but puppets – at least agree with that …..

Whilst CNN, MSNBC, Disney, ABC, CBS, NBC, have been Communist propaganda news channels, out to destroy America since at least 2008,

FOX News turned hard left in 2012.  And now, FOX News doesn't even cover the news.  They're only interested in ratings, and hence,

like MTV long ago, they simply present a lineup of "shows":

* Fox & Friends that care only about food preparation, lame summer music, and their perpetual love-affair with "the troops".

* Outnumbered -- a silly show where 4 women and a very unlucky guy seem to hash out current events.

* Legends & Lies - let's try rewriting history and see how that sells

* America's whatever - for showing "breaking news" of car chases when no one is watching

...oh, never mind.  I'm tired of writing how no one covers the "real news" that affects ALL Americans.

FOX News...Before it's News, it's History...

And please don't forget that FOX is ALL ABOUT the Republican establishment, aka The Karl Rove channel, and pharmaceutical companies that pay for all their ads,

hence their fascination with putting down any and all pain killer medication.  Gee, maybe some folks actually NEED pain meds for a reason????

Answer me this, smarty pants:

1)  How come FOX won't come clean and announce what EVERYONE ELSE knows about Benghazi?  That Benghazi was the focal point of US involvement to ship arms through Turkey to Syria, specifically, shoulder-fired surface to air missiles, in order to illegally overthrow the Assad government?

2)  How come FOX won't come clean and announce that the Kiev coup was perpetrated by Soros, the EU, the IMF, USAID, Barack Obama, John McCain and Lindsey Graham, among many others, to "stick it" to Putin?  And the coup de grace?  Hunter Biden, the VP's son on the Board of Directors of the largest gas company in Ukraine?

3)  How come FOX helped to support the invalid argument of the "Confederate Flag".  Now, the flag itself stands as a testament to the First Amendment.  What will FOX help to BAN NEXT?

FOX News likes to shape the thought patterns of the entire United States.  And as such, they are now no better, in my mind, then the other Commie propaganda channels.

The price of their freedom is giving up the illusion of Euro security.  The uncertainty of a Drachma future that forces fiscal balance even more stringent than that the Germans would impose apparently scares the shit out of Greeks more than being debt serfs in perpetuity.

Every Greek poll that shows 80% in favor of staying in the Euro with that same 80% opposed to austerity shows me there really is no good side to this.  Did the Founders demand freedom from the crown while at the same time demanding the protection of the Royal Navy???  Those polls combined with the completey spineless actions of their leaders the past week says the Germans disdain for the Greeks has some justification...

Yes, I hope everyone noticed mine was directed toward the Greeks. There is no route to freedom when one grovels and scrapes before someone else, in this case the EU and IMF.

The Germans WILL cut off Greece at some point...as well as Portugal...and Italy...and Spain...and that suck ass nation formerly known as France.

I will never ally myself with the left (I can't stomach them) so its just helpful advice on my part, if they care anything about freedom they all need to lower their expectations and go back to what they do best.

Absolutely true.  But you must admit that Germany is their willing vassal.  The nationalist superiority emanating from this economic "Fourth Reich" is hard to ignore.  This is why I remain hopeful for the future.  The NWO conspiracy is proving more difficult to achieve than TPTB planned.  If only because the various competing interests within the conspiracy come into conflict.  Clearly the best thing to do for the EU would be debt write downs and anything else needed to keep the Union together.  It would certainly benefit DeutcheBank for the EU to remain intact.  But that pesky human element comes into play as it seems German pride requires nothing less than payment in full.  Even if such demands cause a collapse that equals no payment at all.  Human beings are predictably unpredictable.
