The Last Days Of 'Normal Life' In America

If you have got family and friends that you would like to visit before things start getting really crazy, you should do so within the next couple of months, because these are the last days of “normal life” in America. The website where I have posted this article is called “End of the American Dream“, but perhaps I should have entitled it “The End of America” because that is essentially what we are heading for. The debt-fueled prosperity that so many of us take for granted is about to come to a screeching halt, and we are about to enter the hardest times that any of us have ever known. And I am not just talking about economics either. Based on all of the intel and information that I have gathered, we are about to enter a “perfect storm” that is going to shake this country in just about every possible way that it can be shaken. So I hope that you will truly savor this summer – days like this will not come around again any time soon.
Have you ever known someone that lived a seemingly charmed life even though that individual made foolish decision after foolish decision?
In the end, reality almost always catches up with people like that.
And in so many ways, we have been living a charmed life as a nation even though we have been making incredibly foolish decisions for decades. We have cursed ourselves over and over again, and just about every form of evil that you can possibly imagine is exploding all around us. As a nation, we now stand for just about everything that is foul, disgusting and wicked, and the rest of the world is absolutely horrified by what has happened to us.
Once upon a time, we were one of the most loved nations on the entire planet.
Now we are one of the most hated.
The things that we have been doing to ourselves and to other countries are about to catch up with us in a major way. We thought that we were getting away with everything that we were doing, but that was never the case. When you do evil, there is always a price to pay.
Over the past few weeks, some very strange things have begun to happen. And in the months ahead, we are going to see some more unusual events. But to be honest, this is just the tip of the iceberg. For now, you are just going to have to trust me on this one.
If my tone sounds ominous, that is good, because that is precisely the mood that I am trying to convey. Right now, there are major things going on behind the scenes, and all of our comfortable little lives are about to get shaken up big time.
I have often written about the global elite and about how they like to go about doing things. Throughout history, they have always liked to create order out of chaos. In other words, they will often purposely create a crisis in order to push through things that they would not be able to accomplish during “normal” times.
I believe that we are about to enter one of those periods of time. The problems that we are about to experience are going to be used to justify radical “solutions” that will further the overall agenda of the elite. But because we will be in the middle of an “emergency”, a lot of people will choose to go along with those solutions.
Sadly, most people don’t understand how the world works because they are so consumed with other things. We live in a society that is absolutely addicted to entertainment. Just recently, I wrote about how the average American spends more than 10 hours a day plugged in to some form of media. If we are not watching television, we are listening to the radio, going to movies, playing video games, messing with our smartphones or spending endless hours on the Internet. And more than 90 percent of the “programming” that we are fed through these devices is produced by just 6 absolutely gigantic media corporations.
And who controls those gigantic media corporations?
The elite do.
And have you noticed how “the mainstream media” loves to divide us?
Today, Americans are more divided than ever it seems. Our news broadcasts endlessly fixate on “black vs. white”, “male vs. female”, “liberal vs. conservative”, “rich vs. poor”, etc, etc.
Americans are extremely angry and frustrated at this point, but most of our anger and frustration is directed at one another.
How can we ever hope to come up with any solutions for our nation if we spend so much time hating our fellow citizens?
But this is just how the elite like it.
They love to play divide and conquer. If we were united, we would be far more difficult to manipulate.
And even if we did find a way to come together, what values and principles would we use to rebuild this nation?
The truth is that most Americans deeply reject the values and principles that the founders of this country once held so dear.
Personally, I am very optimistic about the future. My wife and I believe that the greatest chapters of our lives are still ahead of us.
But am I optimistic about the future of the United States?
No, I am not.
Perhaps you are reading this and you have come to the conclusion that I am being irrationally negative. If so, you are probably spending way too much time plugged in to the “propaganda matrix” that I described above. The establishment wants you to believe that everything is going to be just fine and that the best days for this world are ahead.
If you think that I am wrong, I challenge you to bookmark this page. Then, after some time has passed, come back and revisit what I had to say today.
I believe that you will be quite shocked by how your perspective has changed.
The last half of this year (2015) is going to represent a major turning point, and we are moving into hard times unlike anything that America has ever seen before.
Unfortunately, most of the “sheeple” are going to be completely blindsided by what is coming. They just continue to follow their utterly clueless leaders down a path toward oblivion.
But the good news is that once the “shaking” starts, many of these “sheeple” will begin to wake up.
When that happens, who will those “sheeple” turn to for answers?

I've been sending these kinds of sentiments, emails, statistics, links, videos, etc. etc. etc. to my group of close friends and family for like 8 years now??? I've spoken to all of them for these same 8 years in person, on the phone, through email...have showed them straight up how fucked up shit is and how bad it's going to get and how I am preparing, stacking gear, phyzz, food, water, etc. etc. etc. on and on and on and on.
Year and after year have I done this for them...8 years. 8....fucking....years. I'm sorry it hasn't been longer...but a little more than 8 years has been the extent of my own awakening when I found the realization of what was going on and the path for myself on my own.
And guess what.
NOTHING!!!
Nothing substantial, really. Just a whole lot of what I would call honest "agreement", but still no ACTION!
And I'm talking a few dozen people who are NOT lib-tard sheeple. Not in any way, shape or form fundamentally at all. I'm talking about highly edumacated people who are dedicated hard-working people...Christian...Conservative, Constitutional, patriots through and through. People who do understand the global treason going on against our fundamental freedom, rights, and liberty.
But still...no action. No preparing. No stacking phyzz, guns, ammo, food storage, water, etc. etc. etc. They've had 8 fucking years AT LEAST just from me trying my fucking ASS OFF to show them what's really going on and to show them the path to saving not just their own asses....but to saving their children, their own families, and their other extended friends asses as well!!!
But still....NOTHING!!!
After all of this for so many years...all the proof...everything that has happened. After how fucking bad everything has gotten and how it continutes to get worse and worse by the day.
Do you know that many of these people even try to talk to me about how bad they see things have gotten and how bad things are becoming...and how bad they "predict" things will get as if they came up with all of it on their own...as if I had never even have said one fucking word about it all to them over all these years???? And yet...still NOTHING!!!
Have any of you experienced any of this with those who you know????? It literally BAFFLES me! It's incredible and so fucking frustrating at the same time that I can hardly even believe it most of the time.
All I get is Normalcy Bias and Cognitive Dissonance to a certain extent from all of them. No sense of urgency...no understanding of the timing of what is coming our way regardless of everything I send on a near daily basis.
Just like the people on those beaches you see in videos when the tide has been sucked out miles and miles because a fucking Tsunami is about to come crushing in on them at the speed of sound and they will have no fucking place to hide when it hits. They're just standing there like deer in the fucking headlights.
I'm talking about GOOD PEOPLE!!! People who seemingly "understand" the fucked up shit we're facing!!!! Who agree that shit's ALL FUCKED UP!!! People who seem to completely understand just how fucked up life is going to be in the very near years ahead for their little children!!!!!!!!!! And yet still.........nothing.
But man...maybe many of you have been through this too and know many good people as well who are acting the same fucking way. Who have little children that they will have to raise in the coming years ahead when shit is going to get even worse than they, you, or I can even fucking predict. I hope not though....because going through this really kills me little by little inside. I fucking hate it. But I know at this point now that there's really nothing more I can do about it. I've given all that I think I can fucking give. I've shared so much shit that I read and research and listen to for year and year with basically no reciprocation or acknowledgement at all. What the fuck else can I do at this point???? Especially when that fucking Tsunami seems to be only about 1 fucking mile away now????? Gotta just get the fuck out to higher ground now...gotta go...that's all I can do now...

And then say fucked up shit like "we'll just come to your house since you will have "stuff"..." It just fucking kills me inside.
It's like Greece. How the fuck do you think those people are feeling right now??? Desperate...hopeless...suicidal or homicidal???? FUCKING SHIT!!!!
And then just think of when those same conditions eventually hit America hard-core. FUCKIG GOD! How can like 3% of us who did everything we could to prepare for this shit possibly support so many people who did nothing to prepare? It's going to be impossible, and at the same time we're going to be demonized and attacked for having been prepared...for having stored food, water, supplies, etc. Not to mention mobbed and robbed and killed by those who have nothing and who did nothing to prepare. Not to fucking mention that the fucking government is also going to attack us and demonize us as "hoarders" and people who made it "bad" when it was really the scumbag government who caused it all in the first place.
Hard choices will have to be made at that point. Bad situation. And I can't help but think how fucking pissed off I'm going to be at certain people when that happens because they didn't fucking listen to what I've been saying now for 8+ years.

A quick story. A friend of mine is an MD who does REALLY well. I conviced him to buy some gold a couple of years ago. I think he bought 60 or 80 ounces. A drop in the bucket for this guy. He has busted my balls ever since. Rightfully so....maybe.

I gave up trying to convince them, and weary of the eye-rolling reactions. At least my wife understands my view and supports my efforts to protect us financially. Although I tell her to live like one of the sheeple if she wants and let me do the planning/worrying. Avg. american lifespan is ~79 yrs. The key is balance. If a guy has a wife and kids, it's irresponsible to say "phuk it, I'll just enjoy life". One must prepare and gently teach the kids to prepare for a rainy day as well. Nothing wrong with that, even if the S never HTF. On the other end of the spectrum is the guy who irresponsibly cashes out the 401k and drags his family into the wilderness to live miserably just because some day something will go awry.

I hear ya bro...I've done the same thing, had many of the same conversations I'm sure, felt the same frustrations. There are lots of aphorisms that cover this ground (You can lead a horse to water...), and they apply in this case; people are NOT going to listen until they are ready to listen. In the mean time, I just keep my head down and stick to making my preps. Just become what the Russians used to call a gray man...a guy who is prepared, knows the score, and doesn't draw attention to himself. At some point you will just have to harden your heart and write those people off. You can't save the world, though you tried.

Same deal here. It is nearly impossible to convince people to stack phyzz and forget about the fiat price for it. All I was hearing is "silver went down today" or "did you see how gold got slammed?". I stopped trying to explain the reasons for owning hard assets. It was like talking to a wall. Seriously, it made my life easier to shut up, let them do their thing while I just continue to do my own thing. It's only a bit easier to get people to listen about storing food, water, and supplies. The only reason it's easier is because many of my friends and family went through superstorm Sandy and they remember what it was like to have to live with no power and no supplies for 10-12 days.

He's prepared, helps people where he can, but is no fool and doesn't let himself get sucked into "laying pearls before swine", i.e., giving it all away to the demanding and undeserving -read: socialists who think that what is yours is theirs too. He's not looking for trouble, but can deal with it when it comes his way; he is competent without being arrogant.
Of the 30+ post apocalyptic fiction and non-fiction books I've read, this is one of the very best...it's on Audible as well and is extremely well read. (I feel like I should maybe get a cut of the profits after this plug.)
Try explaining how the illegals will eventually be offered full citizenship in exchange for serving in the domestic military force because they have no objections to shooting Americans.

Look I get it. I am trying to prepare for what might happen, but honestly, it's hard to know if it will be a slow, gradual decline or the abrupt stop, welcome to zombieland. I also don't talk to my friends and family about my preps - because I have 4 small kids and don't need freeloaders. Not that I'd have the heart to turn them away, so maybe I sould just start spilling the beans. They think my small livestock is to give my farm character. My obsession with fruit and nut trees is my trying to connect to my green thumb. My buying and using a pressure canner is seen as a hipster move to real or slow food movements. Maybe they are preparing in small ways, like education on how to do things. I'll be honest though. I cant ever imagine life wthout electricity, running water or the interent. I use all 3 multiple times an hour! Maybe that's why I'm of the slow decline mindset. It seems like Japan has set the template for America to follow.
p.s I'm like 1000 times more prepared then the average American - but I still don't have basic things covered. Still have work to do.

I totally get it. At first I was like telling everybody and everything whether they wanted to hear it or not. Then I began to realize that wasn't a good idear at all because here's the law of telling people, and everyone of you reading this needs to tuck it away:

Man...at first I thought telling everyone how fucked up it was and how to prepare was a good thing. Then I started to hear shit like that and realize, "yeah"..."fuck"...I might tell a good friend about shit...and they might not do one fucking thing to help themselves at all. But what if they end up telling someone else who I don't know at some point about my shit and they come after me at some point???
What if that comes back on me. Paranoid? Maybe...yeah...just maybe.
But then again...we're talking about some fuvked up shit coming at us not just "if"...but "when". Who know how people are going to treat each other, right??
So being so-called "paranoid" about who might know about our shit could keep us alive.
You all know how many fucked up levels up total shit this can turn into eventually if what we're all actually preparing for comes to fruition. I'm with you about the mental preperation. That's the hardest part. I had put down a baby rabbit last week because it lost an eye and it took mental focus to direct my hands to do it swiftly. If you add some sugar to the tuna, and let it ferment in a boiling vat for a couple of months, will it be like a 'tuna still'? Could you EAT IT and get DRUNK at the same time? Do not ferment tuna or any other meat. It is really easy to just add some yeast to a bottle of sugar water/koolaid, wait a few days and there one has (fairly low proof) alcohol. With a little creativity, one can build a still or use fractional crystalization to inprove the yield.
I'd be really careful of the tuna. With the mercury levels spiking, and now the Fukushima thing, you might get more than you bargained for.
