What's the big deal with Iran and nuclear weapons!
Ok so Iran builds a nuclear weapon, they don't have the missile technology to launch it to the US, so the only real threat is Israel.
And what kind of threat is that? If Iran launches a nuke to Israel, the trade winds off the mediterranean will blow the radiation right back over to Iran, via Jordan and Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Iran nukes Israel, Iranians will die too.
This whole nuclear argument is pointless. Let Iran build its nuclear reactors and bombs. Nothing is going to happen.
As for Israel? Listen you guys in Israel you need to get up to speed with something. You're losing favour all around the world, furthermore, IS/ISIS/or whatever is slowly winning in the Middle East. Forget about Iran! You have bigger problems.
If IS grabs more control, say Lebanon, Jordan will fall next like a domino. Iran will be then nothing compared to having IS to your North and East.

IS is a unifying force, a devilish unifying force, but one non-the-less. Assad may not see the year out. Lebanon is starting to crack at the seems with IS incursions. There is nothing to stop IS going all out on Lebanon, once Assad goes. This is a very big concern. With Lebanon gone, King Abdullah will see that his days are numbered. Ever so much the coward he is, he knows that IS will make a big approach to the Palestinians who are the same faction of Sunni muslims as they are, Wahhabi! Jordan is overflowing with Palestinians, making the largest potential 5th column in any of the countries in the Middle East. Abdullah will run, and run like a road-runner, once Syria falls and Lebanon starts falling apart. Jordan will collapse like a domino. Israel will then have very little time, but time they will have. Before IS attacks Israel, IS will go after the 2nd major prize, Saudi Arabia. When there is fighting in the streets of Arabia, Israel will have only a few years of comfort left before the nightmare comes. And the USA? If the IS is given enough time to grab Lebanon, Jordan and Arabia are finished.
The USA needs to understand the key to stopping IS, is not Iraq or Syria, they are lost, meaning if you are not prepared to put boots on the ground, forget it. I have no doubt that IS and Iran will come to terms with dividing up Iraq, everything East of the Tigris will go to Iran, and that West of the Euphrates will belong to IS, the area between the rivers will be shared; or something close to like this will happen. Why? Because both Iran and IS have a common problem, the Kurds. This way they can divide and control the Kurds, dividing the problem in half. Once this happens, IS will focus on Lebanon, and if the US doesn't enter and stop them. Bye bye Lebanon, Jordan and Arabia. With Iraq divvied up between Iran and IS, the Persian Gulph will be largely Iran's backyard swimming pool. Defending Arabia will be near impossible, including the states of Qatar, UAE etc.
Lebanon is the key. Stop IS in Lebanon, you have a chance. Oh as far as Hezbollah is concered and Iranian backing of it, Iran will gladly sacrafice supporting Lebanon for a nice chunk of Iraq and its oil fields. IS knows this; this will be the gambit. Think about it, don't you think Iran will gladly give up Lebanon, for 1/3 of Iraq, and they then get rid of Jordan and Saudi Arabia to boot! Of course they will.
Watch Assad, once he is assassinated, IS will have Syria, then Lebanon's days are numbered, once the deal is made with Iran, as soon as that happens, Jordan falls within 48 hours. And then the Arabian pennisula is under threat. Then you will see the smart Jews leaving Israel, they'll know what is coming. As soon as Arabia is under IS control.... Israel will be then razed to the ground. And not even the US will be able to stop it, it will be too late, IS will be too big.
Once IS has Israel or I should say Palestine, Palestine will become a no go zone for infidels, like Mecca, for ever.
Lebanon is the key. Lebanon must not fall.
If/When/But Israel falls. North Africa will collapse like more dominos. And then all out war starts...IS versus a weak indebted bloated Europe. And the USA? Folks this isn't 1917, no rescue here, they are a financial mess.

Swallow your pride. Enter Syria with everything you got, and help Assad! If you don't....say good-bye to Israel. Supporting Lebanon aint going to help, since Hezbollah will fight you all the way, and you know how much they can hurt you. Your only sound answer to this future nightmare, is suppporting Assad. Think about, you help him, he and the Syrians will be enternally grateful. You will have a safe border there. Its the only sound political and strategic move you have, its a real power move. I know you have been thinking about this, anyone with sound reasoning would. DO IT! After Syria falls, there's nothing left to work with! The principle being missed here is that of sovereignty. We have no aurthority to tell another sovereign nation what they can and cannot have. You cannot convict someone, much less punish them, before they have commited the crime. I know we all think we can orchestrate things to avoid all possible negative outcomes, but life and reality doesn't work that way.
Personally, I wish nuclear arms didn't exist, but they do, and if one country can have them, then why not all? The world does not belong to the USA or London. You are not going to come to my house and tell me what I can and cannot have. You will have to make me. I don't see how it is any different with countries.
Obama is paying them off in the hopes they will play nice. They know if they use a nuclear weapon they will be slaughtered. They may try to use a proxy, but hell, there are thousands of nukes now spread around the globe that have the potential of ending up in the hands of an idiot. If they have a death wish, tell them to saddle up a nuke and use it. None of us are going to live forever.
Lets not forget the one country in history that has used a nuke on another country that did not have nuclear weapons. Let's also not forget that we dropped it on thousands of civilians. I am pretty confident I can clearly argue that it was completely unnecessary. Taking all those rat-hole Pacific Islands was unnecessary. We could have cut off their supplies and they would have surrendered or starved to death. Of course then we wouldn't have all the heroes of Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal, would we?

The bombs on Japan were more about ending WW2 before the Soviet Union could establish a foothold in the Pacific, than anything else. Hiroshima was kept off bombing lists so the effects of a nuke could be studied on an intact city - kind of petri dish idea.
