Greek Protesters And Riot Police Clash, Molotov Cocktails Thrown - Live Feed

Tyler Durden's picture

Update: Things have deteriorated with protesters throwing petrol bombs at police.

  • GREEK PROTESTERS THROW PETROL BOMBS AT POLICE IN ANTI-AUSTERITY PROTEST CLOSE TO PARLIAMENT, POLICE RESPOND WITH TEAR GAS

(Live feed)

Ahead of today's perhaps most critical vote in recent Greek history, one which may cede the nation's sovereignty and control of its banks to European bureaucrats and the ECB, demonstrators are again starting to congregate on Syntagma square where anti-austerity protesters are commingling with civil servants and pharmacists who previously called a 24 hour strike.

While the Athens riot police is quietly preparing for the worst:

For now the situation is peaceful, although once the public understands that the government has passed the "deal" the sense of calm may promptly disappear.

Prayer to commence the historic vote in Parliament...

Our father which art in the ECB, your name is to be praised,

Thy kingdom is the eurozone, thy will be done in Greece, as it is done in the eurozone,

Give us this day, our daily loan,

And forgive us our debts, we ain't going to pay,

And lead us not into more debt, but deliver us from the euro,

For thine is the eurozone, and you have the power, and the glory.  Amen

Our BANKster

Which art in the ECB

Hollowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done in Greece

As it is in the Eurozone

Give us this day our daily loan

And forgive us our debts

We ain't going to pay those

And lead us more into temptation

And deliver us into the euro

For thine is the eurozone

You have the power

And the glory forever

Amen

The Greeks brought this upon themselves. In every way.

Most of them dodge their taxes, yet want government to take care of them from cradle to grave. Rather than eat it and break off from the Euro, they want to stay and take the pounding so they can continue to possibly get more hand outs.

For all the shit you can give Germany, the IMF, and Europe as a whole for even lending cash to the Greeks, 90% of the responsibility is the Greeks. They made their own beds.

Who needs a gun when firebombs are so easy to construct? Emergency services will be absolutely overwhelmed by just a few motivated arsonists.

The peace is kept not by your Government forces but through the consent of the people.

It takes a small percentage to stage a violent revolution and coup d'etat.

And your Government and Corporations have pissed off far too many.

In the end, when all is said and done, your Government and your Corporations are extemely weak institutions that serve as parasites upon the productive. The productive will shake them off as a dog shakes the fleas from his body.

I think you're as stupid as mud. Greece would never have been in the EU if...

1. The first Greek referendum was not cancelled due to the polls showing the people did not want to enter the EU.

2. The EU did not hire Goldman Craps to come in and cook the books of the Greek government so as to allow a poor nation to enter a rich man's club.

The EU drew first blood and now it is the EU that must pay.

NOW, DON"T YOU FEEL STUPID?

Remove it, tell the dirty child rapists to fuck off and pay their own bullshit bills that they reckon you lot will service for the rest of your great-grand-childrens lives.  Your 'Consent' is the most important part of this bullshit 'Contract', cos' if they dont have it, you are 'Not Obliged' to do fuck all.

FASCIST (government of, for and by the multinational bankster corporate monopoly) TAKE-OVER is foreign to American representative democracy and Greek direct democracy (government of, for and by the People).

The fascist are criminals to our democracy Justice System that the fascist criminals have overthrown by the criminal tools of corruption and theft: fraud, forgery, bribery, bunko and Ponzi schemes, cohesion, extortion, embezzlement, theft, murder, and any other criminal act to farther their control and power over the People.

The central bankster criminals have declared war on the Peoples of the World with fraudulent debt implemented and foisted on the leaders of democratic nations.

Fraud by representative debt on to the People was the bankster criminal plan from the beginning of the European Union and American debt. The central banksters have set out to bankrupt nations by debt and take over the country assets; to hell with the People.

The People have said emphatically and democratically “NO” to criminal fraud and debt. It is time to hold a Peoples Court for Justice and arrest and charge the criminals with their crimes. Seize all bankster multinational assets until the end of the trials and forfeiture of the assets if found guilty. The criminals have destroyed your democracy set of criminal laws, so a Peoples Kangaroo Court is your only civil defense to restore your universal criminal laws. Don’t destroy your own civic property, seize their property.

The people of Greece voted NO to the CONDITIONS of the bailout money, but they never said NO to the MONEY itself.

Tsiapas was trying to get the money without the conditions.  Didn't work out for him.

Lets all be honest with ourselves.  You don't have to be able to quote the "Art of War" or be an instructor at the School of the Americas to know that the only way Greek protests have any real impact is if they present overwhelming force (numbers) or they use time honored traditions of disappearing the offending politicians.

A token show of force by the protestors is nothing more than entertainment for the riot police.  Force on force is a failed approach when the opponent is better trained, better equipped, and has more to lose.

What we have failed to see occur is a leader rise up and organize a resistance, peaceful or otherwise, against the status quo prostitute politicians (prostiticians) who are for sale to the highest bidder.  Only a leader who can command the support of the rabble can offer a great enough threat to the prostiticians (socially, politically or physically) such that they would risk the wrath of the bankers over the wrath of the directed rabble.

Currently the bankers have much more to threaten the prostiticians with than the unorganized rabble.  At the end of the day its very simple, the prostitician goes with whoever has the bigger "gun" to his head.

I'm surprised there isn't more lone wolf, nothing left to lose, high profile assassination attempts based on the way the ruling elite and bankers treat the general population.

Or maybe that tipping point just has not been reached yet.

If police are harmed and none of the elite politicians are strung up then it will only empower the elite. The only way anything changes is if the people can get enough weapons and turn some of the police to the side of those who don't want to be enslaved...and they go in the gov buildings and clean the stables out. The head over to the banks...march out the bank managers to let people get at their safety deposit boxes.

Elitists always think it is best to create a dialectic in which their enemies defeat themselves.

The police are on the wrong side and the protesters are pissing in their own drinking water.
