The GOP's Biggest Nightmare: Trump Dominates Fox News Poll
Demagogue or not, The Donald continues to gain support among Republicans for the GOP Presidential nomination, according to the latest FOX News poll, and among Republican primary voters, Trump now captures 18 percent: more than his closest competitor, Walker.
He’s closely followed by Walker at 15 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 14 percent. No one else reaches double-digits.
Support for Trump is up seven percentage points since last month and up 14 points since May. He’s also the candidate GOP primary voters say they are most interested in learning more about during the debates.
Walker’s up six points since he officially kicked off his campaign. That bump gets him back to the support he was receiving earlier this year. In March, he was also at 15 percent.
Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul gets eight percent, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio receives seven percent, former neurosurgeon Ben Carson comes in at six percent, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee get four percent a piece.

MSNBC keeps trying to focus on Trump’s comments on Mexico. They give him tons of airtime in an attempt to discourage people from voting for him, but they may be creating the exact opposite. Despite what everyone says, he is tapping into the increasingly popular view that everyone is starting to feel, having had enough of politicians, or at least the ones with a brain.

Your second para is probably right but he is not for universal healthcare (which, by the way, is never universal anywhere). See his recent speeches in Chicago. He is for open cross (state) border competition by health insurers. Undoubtedly part of that is those insurers can offer whatever they like in their policies (which you would expect from a competitive business guy) not a whole lot of government imposed conditions.
I personally heard him say healthcare is a universal right, and that we have to take care of our people.
We already do, from the perspective of not turning away anyone who shows up at the emergency room. Unfortunately, that is the most expensive form of care, and does nothing for prevention.
As a hard nosed businessman looking at the numbers, it is a no brainer to compare the cost of the Medicare program to the cost of the private healthcare system and say WTF!

But such a day will never arrive. The trick is to pay one dollar and borrow two, forever until it all explodes in gunfire.

Trump is not in an academic discussion. He is trying to get elected. He probably has a lot more experience than you at selling things, in this case himself. He certainly understands he needs to focus on points that matter to his potential customers. He is being honest and non PC about those matters, illegals, the export of US jobs, Obamacare, Obama's nuke capitulation to Iran, having US troops armed on their bases.
If you really don't think the flood of illegals, the export of US manufacturing jobs, and the adverse impact of Obamacare on health insurance costs and employment for many people are real problems you have your head where the sun don't shine.
