Wake me when they reach $0.00
iShit happens.
Oh the humanity!!
SOOOOoooooooooo bullish.
Fewer jobs, more free time to spend at home with the family, EBT applications online now. Such GOOD news!!!!...
In other news, Toshiba gets busted for the biggest accounting scam in almost modern history .....so far
The real question is who did the accounting and reporting of the results.
wha? 43x earnings for beans and rice is rich?
Give me a sister, I can't resister her. Red beans and rice didn't miss her.
[edit] I don't spell too well either.
Oh no! She has a blister.
At least I can still fist her.
Sorry.
That escalated quickly!
+1
genius
Sales of the iBurrito must have been hard to stomach.
Shake Shack up big on no news today.
I'm sure the SEC will be all over that one shortly!!
Cuz "blow the fucking bubble only BIGGER" is how this game is played.
They heard that somebody was hungry.
Since when do earnings mean J-A-C-K...S-H-I-T-E in this day and age. And, if the earnigns are bad, why not just double seasonally adjust them until they look better.
FUBAR.
Uh, they already did.
When mark to unicorn, pre-booked sales, tax rate deductions, cap-ex writeoffs, etc can't make your numbers look good, reality looks like Hillary's face without makeup.
Even with nineteen layers of spackle you know the bitch is ugly, but at least you can still look in her direction. Take off the makeup and one look will cause your face to melt. That is earnings without accounting fudges that make what Toshiba did look like kindergarten.
Time to put a brown paper bag on the market.
For it to breathe into or to cover its face?
I sure hope people chased that pump into the close.
Maybe Apple will save us
Oh, its halted; locked down limit you say.... I see
The tech bubble is dead! Long live the tech bubble!
"Nobody, I mean nobody, could have seen this coming"!
No on with an Apple Watch
Would be a problem if Apple was up 5% though, it's only broken if something goes down.
AAPL just reported that it missed the revenue forcast. So expect carnage in the market tomorrow, followed by The Great Crash after hedge funds sell off after earnings season.
...and behold a pale unicorn, and shemitah rode with him.
I'm short S&P500 as I reported here, faithfully on the day I put the position on. It's so easy. They just give you money. "Money for Jam, and Chicks for free"---I love the Rock n Roll life.
What do you mean APPL missed???
I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
Doesn't the whole planet own an iWatch by now? How about an iTV, no? ........LOL !!!
Anchors and guests on Bloomberg were totally trashing the Apple Watch right before the earnings report came out. I didn't know it was doing so badly.
Haven't seen all the numbers, but the fact that they buired the iWatch sales figures is telling. Someone on our esk remarked "iWatch sales last quarter were higher than iPad sales!"....which sounds like iSpin.
So a brand new, highly touted, "revolutionary" product released last quarter barely beat the sales of a product that has four generations and already sold tens of millions of units. BULLISH.
Apple doesn't have a compelling product anymore.
Remember when everyone had a Motorola phone, then a Nokia phone, then a Blackberry, then an iPhone?
Now that you can buy any one of fifty off contract phones with equal power to the iPhone5 for less than $300 there is no point to the overpriced and overhyped iPhone. Smartphones have been commoditized.
If you are looking for a good phone that won't break the bank, get the ASUS Zenphone2
It really does make the iPhone look like a joke. The phone is more powerful than most of the recent laptops released.
I still think the macbook is the best laptop. Most durable and comfortable to use.
Agreed, though their computer software is increasingly influenced by that of the iphone, which sucks as far as I'm concerned.
Yes, I already had a "desktop" phone. It rings, you answer it. Done. Crap, I miss my old Samsung flip phone. Three days of battery life.
Yes, but can it play Crysis?
The macbook may be the best ultrabook, but without a DVD drive, it's not even a fully functional laptop.
Right, that must be why Apple continues to rake in over 90% of ALL mobile profits.
APPL missed ... Unpossible

Soon, Chairman Obama will announce that it is illegal for Hedge Funds, Pension Funds or any Mutual Funds to sell shares of AAPL
Watch CNBC with Sound OFF / Captions ON. That's Entertainment!
Play Pink Floyds "Dark Side of the Moon".
From that album "On The Run" is very prescient, given what we all know is coming down the pipe.
Permanent Lapse of Reason
Are they crapping in their pants yet and screaming "The sky is falling?"
I've got my finger on the trigger for news of Gartman recommending a sell on Apple. Get ready to reverse those shorts in a day or so. I'll give it till the end of the week tops.
Unleash the CramLies!
CramLies?? Is that the demon spawn of James Tiberius Cramer and Steve Liesman?
"Drooling"
Go pro chart makes no sense at all. Wisdom of the market = fail.
Camera-on-a-stick, FTW! TOO COOL! Hey, what's Kodak trading at these days?
Camera on a stick, bitches!
That's it! Put the Iwatch on a stick.
The Time Pro Stick Watch!
"Dude. Hit me with the time".
I've developed the "GroPro" it's a chia pet on a stick. you a buyer at 200 a share? I will make a promise that it will double in 30 days.
I'm in!
And sitting in the on deck circle...AMZN! Earnings Thursday after the close. Longs getting nervous?
The only thing that could cause Amazon to go down would be if they actually made money. The algos wouldn't know what to do if that happened.
^ truth
Can Yellen be reached for any comment? Dude we are going to need another fed meeting And SOON!!! BTFD!
Stawks trading like gold and silver. An omen ?
Bait.
Gold down, then up. Up $0.27, maybe, cause it's after hours.
Who the hell sells after hours. To who?
Now some really bad news. I'm reading ZH using Windows 10. Haven't figured out how to install adblock on Windows 10 "Edge". Wow, there are certainly a lot of ads. Especially ads of stuff I've viewed in the last month.
I expect the sun to rise tomorrow.
If you disable adobe flash, it will kill most of the nonsense video ads. It makes ZH enjoyable again.
Maverick
try firefox, add on NoScript. And as another poster suggested, decapitate Flash. your worst enemy ever.
If you want to get rid of ads, kill them at the source. Win-10 and the new latest and greatest MS crap offers nothing to stop them. But if you are somewhat technically inclined you can do something about it.
BTW, this works with all versions of Windows, 7, 8.0, 8.1 and 10. But be aware, depending on you hardware setup this might effect your performance, since you are introducing a hosts file gateway that has approxamately 15,000 lines that Windows has to sift through. But if you have a newer system, it shouldn't cause too much of a performance hit. More here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm If you are running FireFox you can add this to you arsenal of AdBlockPlus and Ghostery.
Oh, and Tylers, you posted a 15 second chart. But when I checked the aftermarket trading it looks a bit different. Shame on you.
Plunge???
Hardly.
