Tsipras To Call For Elections "As Soon Bailout Agreed", Wants "Clean Start"

Tyler Durden's picture

Greek politics are back in the spotlight Wednesday as lawmakers are set to vote on a second set of prior actions that would clear the way for formal bailout discussions to begin by the end of the week (see here and here).

Although the package is expected to pass with the help of opposition support, the vote is nonetheless an important indicator for the future of Syriza and for Tsipras' future as premier.

In short, if Tsipras' support within the party weakens further, it will have broader implications for how the political landscape will look once the bailout is official. The PM is expected to call a party meeting in September to discuss "the day after" (a reference to the fact that by then, Greece is expected to have formalized the third bailout). At that juncture, Syriza "will split in two groups, the followers of Tsipras and the leftist wing led by Lafazanis," one unnamed source told MNI on Tuesday.

Now, it looks as though Tsipras will look to call elections as soon as the third bailout is in place. From MNI, citing sources:

  • TSIPRAS WANTS TO RESHAPE SYRIZA PARTY, MAKE "CLEAN START"- SRC
  • GREECE TSIPRAS WANTS ELECTIONS AS SOON THIRD LOAN AGREED-SRC
  • GREECE PM MULLS SEP 13TH OR 20TH FOR POSSIBLE SNAP POLLS-SRC

How about NOW, before the next "Bailout" is agreed? Incidentally, the "Bailout" is on terms worse than the Greek people voted against. Get real. And get a fresh start.

Globalists in this context refer to the criminal organization and it's members trying to establish a one world governement which they control.  This world government will be created post WWIII which they are in the process of setting up now.   This government will be a Technocracy/Scientific Dictatorship, much like in the book Brave New World and/or 1984.   Other accurate terms for these people would be Bankster, Luciferian/Satanic Oligarchs, Illuminati, Transhumanists.  They currently have control of most major corpoations, mainstream media, the CIA, education, global monitary system, most government and so on.   They view themselves as children of Lucifer and Eve and us as children of Adam, and therefore view themselves superior to us regular people, and view us as "useless eaters" or slaves.

They are the boot stepping on the face of humanity forever if they get their way.

"They are ALL globalists, who entertain and befuddle the masses through irrelevant distractions in non economic matters, ie gay rights."

With the added bonus that LGBT rights are divisive.
The more the PTB divide, the more easily they rule, a totally splintered society being their idea of perfection.
That's also why they also push feminism so hard. Make 50% of humanity the bitter enemy fo the other 50%, great! All the more as it works both ways: women take men for lowlife scum, men take women for obnoxious harpies, Yippee!

Add some LGBT propaganda into the mix (men at last rid of these atrocious women, women free of "patriarchy" and wife-beating husbands by being happy lesbians), plus some Queer ideology to scare guys off by suggesting they should do away with their genitals and become happy women, and you've got a society that's literally at each other's throats.

And while those idiots fight each other, whites againts blacks, women against men, men against women, blacks against whites, LGBT against religious people and the right wing, the right wing against LGBT, etc, You've won.
So the advice to the PTB is, "carry on dividing the society and eroding the social bonding of its members" so these fools are mired in their controversies and are powerless against us.

What about, for instance, eroding further the social bonds by promoting porn, adultery and divorce next, or sexual encounters with "no strings attached"? Oh wait...

From your link:

Prior to the July 5 referendum, where 61 percent of Greeks voted against austerity, Putin informed Tsipras Moscow didn’t support a return to the drachma. This led to last week’s €86 billion bailout agreement with the Troika of creditors, as Greece had no other choice, the source says.

Now, not only did they not get a $10 billion loan(why the fuck would it be priced  in dollars, I asked yesterday) Putin flat out told Tsipras that Russia doesn't support a return to the Drachma!  Putin said not just no but Fuck no this shit isn't true.

I have seen the Redefininggod blog link come up several times, and the Poster(s) on that site opened up my way of looking at the transition we are facing.  That Pax Americana is/was/will never be part of the NWO.  They are the IterimWO until the true NWO China/Russia puts down the world's bully for the last time. With shit like the above being announced on state tv, #I<3RT, I am no longer under any delusion that the US is going to be treated like the maggot it is.

I like the maggot analogy.  You put a maggot in a wound to clear the decay and disease.  It will eat all of the necrotic tissue first, but left in the wound longer, the begin to eat live healthy tissue.  The US was put into world power post WWII and ate away the decay of the planet.  Now we are in the eating healthy flesh phase. and the Puppetiers are letting the maggot chew a bit longer to ensure the rest of the world will accecpt any mulitpolar  substitute to the Unipolar US maggot.

By all means 'represent' yourself when using the tool of a 'legal name' whilst engaging in commerce with other corporate/legal entities, such as the State and it's Agents, or other corporate entities using contract/commercial law.

Soveriegnty = rightful status, independence, or prerogative. I try to use as much of my Sovereignty (free will) to help my family, neighbours and community as much and as often as I can, and sometimes more than I can 'afford'. I try to use as much of my Sovereignty (enlightened self-interest) to revive and nourish the ideal of altruism.

Generally elections make very little difference, but on rare occasions (ex. Trump over Hilary) like the one the Greeks could soon face where a Pro-Banks candidate could potentially face an Exit-EU/Euro candidate, the Greeks may just find the cojones (balls) to exit-stage RIGHT.  Then again, just to schedule and get to that election day (no more bankrupt than they are right now) they would probably have to deal with both trying to keep the candidate in favor of exiting the EU from walking into a bullet between his eyes and maybe even with surviving a color revolution and some CIA sponsored terrorism.  Not an easy feat - in any case, more likely than not I suspect TPTB will not take a chance again on DEMOCRACY (61% to 39%), this time the Greek´s ¨choice¨ will be quite similiar to ours - Jeb Bush vs Hilary Clinton.  How sad...

it might sound strange to people used to one-party or two-party systems, but yes, multi-party systems have this result: mortality of political parties

in a one party system, nothing can be opposed to the one party. witness the latest purges in the military of the biggest one-party of the world

in a two party system, the left punch and the right uppercut usually keep all third parties out. sometimes for centuries. all you need is the "right" electoral system, mostly

in a multi-party system, political parties are born, get into power or not, form coalitions or not, push the ruling coalitions or not, but also split or sometimes even... die

the latest casualties were "Allianz für Deutschland" that split into a liberal and a conservative part, and now possibly syriza

it makes politics more messy, in certain senses, but also clearer in many others. I would not like to change for anything in the world except a direct democracy, and yet even that needs a very solid base of multi-party politics or referenda become easily a joke

just a personal opinion

A dirty little secret seems to me that multi-party systems can very easily be abused by...foreign powers to gain improper influence (by stealth)

Kind of explains Uncle Sam's (and Europe's) insistence on democracy.

It is very easy in a multiparty system to study the electorate of a contender, then found a new party with the sole purpose of skimming some followers, all in the secret service of the party whose position was threatened initially.

Sorry Ghordius, had to insert some shadows here, otherwise your shining multi-party democracy on the hill would blind us :-)

piratepiet, I remember the UK setting up kingdoms, France setting up republics, etc. just take a map of the Middle East and you'll note the old sphere of influence

but I don't remember Uncle Sam ever setting up from scratch anything that was not a presidential republic with vast powers in the hands of one directly elected man

and that's natural, every system sets up a copy of itself on others, if circumstances allow

nevertheless, what is more easily influenced from abroad, "our one son of a bitch" or a multi-party arrangement full of whips and rebels and MPs "walking the floor"?

+1, anyway, then yes, we do have lots of parties that were funded and are still "operated" from abroad. but they tend to be small. do you care to name one? ;-)

Ok, had to read your post several times.  You have a good point. that one "SOB" can be more easy to control.  But maybe it is also more risky as individuals can be unpredictable.  Interesting discussion by the way.  How to control a "democracy" from the outside..trying to look at the world through the eyes of the powerful.  Might teach me something about how they look at me and my little region.

name one ?  I would have to guess.  Would not be surprised at all if Vlaams-Belang (Belgium) is playing an exfiltration game (as outlined above) and not be too very surprised if that party is partly controlled by foreign powers ( but that probably goes for most parties in Belgium).  Is the nation state system up to a point not a way to organize the masses anyway ?  This brings the democratic peace question to mind...and maybe makes it understandable.

Thu, 07/23/2015 - 02:57 | 6344386 Ghordius

perhaps you are too young to remember all our european communist parties, with cadres that regularly went to Moscow for academic training and discussions

the "democratic peace" question, though, is a very thorny one. historically, democracies are more aggressive then autocracies, and this since the times of the Persian Empire

and this is natural, too. the "war party" buck stops at the autocrat or the autocratic party, in a non-democracy. in any non-autocratic system, they can weasel better through

in our times, I see several parties that try to channel the "anger of the anti-establishment" that are controlled, up to a point, from abroad

meanwhile, I also see the Neo-Leftist "network" that functions in both an autonomous manner and has still strong ties in the old communist/socialist area, and with that, hilariously, Moscow and Bejing

He obviosly had no idea what he was signing himself for, like most socialists. He was hopping that Putin and Obama will help, but sadly help only comes to those who can do without it.

Why Putin didn't help Greece:

  1. Money would never payoff
  2. He would get villified in case of greek fallout by all the West. Let the West have the creddit for what it had done.
  3. Nuland is already there. Greeko maidan to overtrow opressive russian pupet regime any one?
  4. It is cheaper to help/buy out Greece after default.
  5. Greece is a toxic asset and more EU is trying to save it, the more it coredes EU.

But I think the main problem is that Nulan is inside, othervise Putin would start building the pipe... like in Ukrain.

No chance. That's an old wives tale told over and over and over until the naive public believes it.

Tsipras is done. ND and PASOK are burned cards. KKE and Golden Dawn do not reflect the views of Greek people.

The next election will be won in a land slide by a party that doesn't even exist today, and a party likely to be lead by Zoe Konstantopoulou the current parliament whip. If the referendum that Tsipras betrayed, the overwhelming 62% vote for NO, is telling us one thing, it's exactly that. Greeks have had enough of the status quo who betrayed them and enough of watching their country being destroyed and sold off for a bowl of beans.

Greece will be back to using a national currency within the next 24 months.

Tsipras, you are too late. I called for your dismissal and early election in mid February.

At least you should admit that you sold out your country for nothing and accomplished nothing. If you are not aware of that read this:

https://contrarianopinion.wordpress.com/greek-odyssey-through-debt/

That's true that most of Greeks or Americans have no idea what to do, how to change not only government but how to change entire 1000 years old regime and its destructive, for individual and community, power rules.

Some had and still have good ideas that are truly different and meaningful. Unfortunately most of people with wisdom and courage to share it eat the dirt prematurely. While outbursts of futile anger, pain and desperation are somewhat tolerated, severe price have to be paid, often loss of life, for giving people direct, actionable ideas how to fight the system as well as our own preconceptions often unknowingly inserted in our minds by propaganda machine that is present everywhere.

Here is one honest take on regime change.

https://contrarianopinion.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/regime-change-we-can-...

Excerpt:

By default, we should not trust anyone in position of power, no matter from where such person came, or from what socio-economic background originated, whether rich or poor or middle class, or whatever critical function’s designated to fulfill, it should not matter at all. Neither religion nor any perceived superior morality nor extraordinary intelligence should be construed as of any value or any foundation for trusting any individual in position of institutionalized influence since no one is immune to devastating, corruptive influences of mere fact of holding power.

there was still no moneywhatsoever in Europe for anyone to
" pick up the first brick and start building from the ground up"
until Washington came up with the Marshall Plan as well as
wiping out all European debt.

this is not what has happened in Greece.

Merkel/Schauble and assorted vulture
banker/creditors have instead chosen to
"kill the goose and have it for dinner"
by adopting a "Genghis Khan/Vlad the Impaler"
approach designed to destroy Greece";
taking ownership of everything that is worth anything
by economic conquest, and enslaving the Greek people

I think we may all be missing another view.  Could it be that the Greek people have done something that has every Government in the world worried about?

What if a country's citizery en masse stops supporting/believing a Governments bullshit?   Think about that.    It is a revolution without firing a shot.

About 2-3 years ago, I raised this idea on ZH... that the Greek people had had a revolution without firing a shot.   That the citizenry en masse simply began to ignore their Government.   That it was/is a Governments worst nightmare.   The citizenry simply ignoring them.

A level-headed and smart resident of Greece that I well know has been telling me for years "why should I pay taxes to people in Athens who line their own pockets?"  "Many Greeks accept that the Athens politicans have been borrowing money simply to line their own pockets."  "No one feels that the Government represents them and therefore most Greek citizens simply ignore them completely.   We live and transact on our own just fine."

From this context, consider why didn't the Government impose force?    Governments would typically use force to compel citizenry obedience.      Why haven't we all noticed the lack of military/police actions against the citizenry in Greece?   Could it be that behind closed doors, the EU and Germans have been pushing for a military crackdown on the citizens?   Seems too late now... the people have won in sorts... there is just no one championing their success.  Obviously, Governments do not want the world to consider this.

The citizenry must be punished.   The Greek government was truly incompetent.   The citizens succeeded far too much.

I think the Greek citizenry have shown the world how a Government can be defeated.   This is the real thing to see.

Why would you push for a military crackdown if the serfs allow you to keep on borrowing and pocketing EU money to infinity? All they have mustered is a few middle aged folks marching with banners...

They allowed a vote to make them feel better and then did what they wanted to. Why not nurture the status quo?

I get the impression he doesn't want the job anymore lol.

Can't blame him, his country is about to be cut up and sold off to the highest (or lowest arm twisted) bidder.

I read Johnny Depp and oldman Buffett are looking to buy a small Greek island of their own.

Ironic isn't it.

My advice to the all Greeks... MOVE, go live and work elsewhere, your country does not belong to you anymore, Tsipras (under huge amounts of pressure I may add) sold you out.
