After Monday's tragic terrorist attack in the Turkish town of Suruc, just across from the Syrian border and kilometers away from ISIS-controlled Kobani, which left dozens dead in what authorities claim was due to an ISIS-linked 20 yhear old suicide bomber, hostilities have dramatically escalated in the past few days culminating with news that one Turkish soldier killed and one was wounded in border province of Kilis by gunfire from Syria, according to state-run Anadolu Agency reports.
According to the Guardian, "one Turkish solider has been killed and another wounded in clashes with Islamic State across the Syrian border, a senior Turkish official said. The clashes continued as the Turkish army returned fire on the militants in Syria. Earlier, a Turkish police officer was shot and killed and a second wounded in the mainly Kurdish city of Diyarbakir. Violence along Turkey’s 560-mile (900km) border with Syria has spiked in recent days, beginning with a suicide bombing blamed on Isis in the town of Suruç on Monday. The Diyarbakir shooting came a day after two police officers were killed in an attack in Ceylanpinar on the Syrian border claimed by militants from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK)"
Bloomberg added that Turkish forces returned fire across the border, killing an Islamic State militant, and thatt clashes across border region continue, Anadolu says in story published at 5:08pm Istanbul time.
Then DHA reported moments ago, that Turkish Armed Forces have begun shooting into Syrian territory. From DHA, google translated:
Event today at 16:00 as the Turkish Armed Forces are massing his time occurred in the border line. Isidor's control of the territory in Syria opened fire on the soldiers at a time. The soldiers also reciprocates by conflict.
Isidor first opened fire from the region, one non-commissioned officer killed, while four soldiers were wounded. The wounded soldiers were brought to Kilis State Hospital for treatment. Increased security measures at the border on the event.
And indeed, as the following clip from Turkey's DHA news agency shows, one may wonder if NATO-member Turkey's land invasion of Syria, which many have said was long overdue following months of rhetoric and belligerent posturing, under the pretext of ISIS "liberation", has just begun.

And where does all the EU...especially Germany and the strategically important countries around the Med Sea and N. Atlantic go? Without it going full NUKE, I don't see how the US Axis survives that scenario. S Am is set up in China's favor in my opinion...at least enough to drain the US resources quite substantially. The UK and Israel? Not much help there...Israel is gone in the first month by my calculations. Too many fronts.
If Israel goes I think the USA will heave a big sigh of relief and shake hands with everyone in the region. BIG WIN for USA.
They are trying to stir the pot in Azerbaijan , Nuland was there recently. I don't think its going to work. Caspian Basin is Iran's and everyone around them will side with Iran and the BRICS.
fwd UN financed caliphate...
Most people aren't aware of the great things Ghaddaffi did for Libya. Everywhere we went in Africa he was met with adoring crowds of people. Blacks were treated equally.
NOW all the blacks are fleeing to Europe and many dying in boats that leak.
Here is the Great Man Made River Project Ghaddaffi started and completed.
Fresh water and OIL> a very rich country (well it would have been)

Someone posted a night time photo of Libyan capital before the "coup" started and it looked like a Chinese or Saudi city.
A daytime after phto was also taken a few months after Khadaffi was killed. It looked like Detroit or Dresden.
WE used to fly out of Mitiga Air Base , just outside of Tripoli. had crew hotel on the beach , great place.
That base used to be called Wheelus AFB when the USAF had it in the 60's. I had been there a few times TDY when I was stationed in Madrid in the Mid 60's. It was strange coming back 40 years later and seeing all the old american buildings. even the base chapel and working with Russians.

Tough one to figure out here.
I'm not sure Russia's support for Assad is real strong anymore, though they would have to be pretty confident that any new gov would play nice with their varied interests in Syria.
Egypt is so far from stable that anything they do today to keep a government standing might be contradicted tomorrow...for the same reason.
While I know the US and Israel and other western and ME interests are destabalizing Syria for a myriad of reasons, I have little confidence anyone's in control of the people fronting militarily all of those interests. A Syria in choas isn't a place a pipeline can be built through easily. US/wester intellegence is so inbred they are just clusterfuckin their way toward mediocrity it seems.
Iran is emboldened, Iraq is confused, the Saudi royatly doesn't know who to trust and who not worry about, the Israeli government appears quite pathological and yet quite incompetant.
The other oil and gas producers in the region are so distracted by building shiny buildings, shell Universities and water parks they can't stay focused on how to use what leverage they might have or the newest weapons they just bought from the MIC. Russia and China are understandably emboldened by the fracturing unipolar geopolitical landscape of the world, but as they become more and more similar in influence to the US they appear to be having many of the same internal problems the US/EU so clearly suffer from.
There's something bigger going on here IMO. And as much as people would like to believe there is some grand conspiracy playing out, I think the forces of change are more than any core elite group can control at this point. I'll still argue that despite the carnage and confusion that seem closer to a dark age, we are actually witnessing the birth pains of a new Enlightenment.
Survey shows!>>>>two quick downvotes for anything remotely critical of Israel today.
Turkey is in NATO, but everything looks like Russia has drawn a bright red line around the Syrian regime. How long before Russian S-300 anti-air missiles start knocking down U.S. F-18 fighter-bombers?
You can kill them all, but it's so fucked up even God can't sort them out.
Hidden Origins of Syria’s Civil War
Exclusive: In the early months of the Syrian civil war, the West’s mainstream media presented the conflict as a simple case of good-guy protesters vs. bad-guy government, but the conflict was more complicated than that and the one-sided version only made matters worse, writes Jonathan Marshall.

The US Hand in the Syrian Mess
Exclusive: Neocons and the mainstream U.S. media place all the blame for the Syrian civil war on President Bashar al-Assad and Iran, but there is another side of the story in which Syria’s olive branches to the U.S. and Israel were spurned and a reckless drive for “regime change” followed, writes Jonathan Marshall.

US/Israeli/Saudi ‘Behavior’ Problems
Exclusive: In Official Washington’s latest detour from the real world, top pundits are depicting Iran as the chief troublemaker in the Mideast and saying the nuclear deal should hinge on Iranian “behavior.” But the real “behavior” problems come from Israel, Saudi Arabia and the U.S., writes Robert Parry.

USA likes to bash everyone. just call it projection ..
I overheard some American govt clown on TV saying , ''Iran is a threat to US security''. The American morons will actually believe that crap. That is what is scary about the Neocons.
What a news fail, LOL, this happened in 1939 on the Poland-Germany border and it was German "soldier" that were killed at a radio station. It wasn't Syrians and Turkey..silly Guardian newspaper :)
This is a MUST READ for all Americans .

Pentagon Admits It May Have Lost (SOLD) $500 Million in Weapons To Al-Qaeda

nothing like arming both sides of a conflict, eh?
$500 million? Pull the other one
Turkey better watch the fuck out. ISIS has proven to be equipped with a number of Russian Built "Kornet" anti tank guided missiles. ISIS in Iraq has been using these to knock out Iraqi Army Abrams Tanks with ease. "Kornet" is easy to use, fast to reload, has lazer sights and it's warhead can defeat reactive armor and still score a total kill with the second charge of the warhead package. This old Turkish tanks would go up is flames in an instant if ISIS used a "Kornet" missile on any one of them.

Exactly why the U.S. will never arm the Kurds properly, Jack.
Turkey has the best 30-year-old armor that dirty money can buy.
I think the reason Israel is all nervous is because some people in the USA military are aware that Israel was behind 911.
They are biding their time and when and if Israel attacks Iran, USA will sit back and heave a big sigh of relief and shake hands with everyone in the region. Because Iran WILL wipe out Israel if Israel attacks them. They do NOT need nukes to do it.
I think many of the generals that Obomber fired, know what the real deal is.
At least the mohammedians are represented here at ZH. They may be sodomaniac crazies, but they are represented.
Got your phone on selfie mode?
I was going to ask who they were shooting at in Syria, but maybe it doesn't matter after all.
Breaking News,
Congress ZioNazi puppets are so heated about the Iran deal that Iran said ''Deals off, we are joing BRICS'' you can go pound sand.
Netanyahu freaks out after EU calls him and tells him they will lose billions.
Thanks, MORONS in Congress, LOL
Putin smiling broadly.
Turkey has been under banksters' control since the time immemorial. Good read here to understand the current day situation (read under Banking & Finances):

Good link.
I must add that an inquiring mind will soon find that WW-I was really Zion's war against the Ottoman Turks for control of Palestine.
The Turks had it, Zion wanted it, so a few million Goy needed to be sent to slaughter, with the prerequisite usury attached as always.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
Rewritten Headline: "Turkey Openly Joins War to Steal Syria for Israeli Lebensraum."
But what will become of the Syrian people after Israel attains Lebensraum over them? Let's ask the Palestinians and Iraqis.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
I wasn't sure what to think until I read the comments and saw who Dutchboy supported.......I'm going with the other guys.
If USG or Turkish troops fire on Syrian troops, it would serve the Turks right if Syria took out Turkey's Atatürk Dam on the Euphrates.
