The Trump Effect? Democrats Are Suddenly Much More Confident Than Republicans

Tyler Durden's picture

Bloomberg's Consumer Comfort index slipped lower once again this week back to six-week lows but the most notable aspect within the survey data was a sudden burst of consumer confidence among Democrats... one wonders why?

PRO TIP:

Just as with Goldman Sachs, when liberals make say one thing, expect the exact opposite to take place.

Do they have a positive outlook? Expect things to crash.

If they say such and such will be good for America, expect it to be devastating.

The Looney Tunes Left Wing 5% Fringe doesn't recognize it is only 5%, and on the fringe.

The more the Establishment trashes Trump, the more everyday people love him.

Obama has a 47% approval rating. Hillary Clinton has 58% support for the democratic nomination. Doesn't sound like left wing fringe of 5% (if you still want to keep believing in the game).

Trump has about 19% support for republican nomination 2%  over Walker and 7% more than Jeb.

With the left right paradigm in full swing (including you), that puts Trump at about 10% nationwide, vs. Hillary's 30%. Furthermore, the supporters for Jeb, Walker, etc. are not going to switch their support to Trump, but they will switch to each other as a nominee becomes a clear leader. Trump will stay at this amount, or decrease. Not saying I like one side, candidate or anything, just pointing out facts.

It seems that someone here doesn't recognize they are on the fringe. Hint: look in the mirror. Just because all your friends like Trump doesn't mean he is making any headway with 'everyday people'.

I've wondered people that for years?  They ask me" Are you a Democrat or a Republican (swap their misinformed ideas of "liberal or conservative" in to their question half the time too)?"

And I reply, "Uhhh...neither of course.  Why would anyone identify themselves with such a legacy of failure...they've 'both' (if there's really a dime's worth of difference) run the world in to the ground controlling the show for a century.  Who in their right mind would want to say they support any of that?"

There stare back confused...mumble a little...and they change the subject usually.  And these are primarily "academics"...the "smart people", you know?  jajjajajja  But their nice enough parrots...most of them...dangerous in their own isolated ways in the ivory tower, but too naive to know much better.  A lot of low self esteem in academia in reality.

To vote for a candidate who will win (IE affect an election) you must choose between one of the two major parties.  If you vote for a third party in most races you are in effect voting for the top two candidate furthest from your views.  A third party vote only makes sense if you believe there is no difference between the top two choices.  Republicans would not have given us Obamacare.  Democrats would not have invaded Iraq.

Do elections matter when a Deep State runs your country?

Essay: Anatomy of the Deep State February 21, 2014 by Mike Lofgren

Rome lived upon its principal till ruin stared it in the face. Industry is the only true source of wealth, and there was no industry in Rome. By day the Ostia road was crowded with carts and muleteers, carrying to the great city the silks and spices of the East, the marble of Asia Minor, the timber of the Atlas, the grain of Africa and Egypt; and the carts brought out nothing but loads of dung. That was their return cargo.

The Martyrdom of Man by Winwood Reade (1871)

There is the visible government situated around the Mall in Washington, and then there is another, more shadowy, more indefinable government that is not explained in Civics 101 or observable to tourists at the White House or the Capitol. The former is traditional Washington partisan politics: the tip of the iceberg that a public watching C-SPAN sees daily and which is theoretically controllable via elections. The subsurface part of the iceberg I shall call the Deep State, which operates according to its own compass heading regardless of who is formally in power

http://billmoyers.com/2014/02/21/anatomy-of-the-deep-state/

"The revelations of CIA spying on Congress underscore the fact that America is run by an unelected, unaccountable military/intelligence apparatus. It is this apparatus, in conjunction with the corporate-financial elite, that dictates official policy in Washington, irrespective of which political party is in power."

The Bankruptcy of The United States
United States Congressional Record, March 17, 1993 Vol. 33, page H-1303

Speaker-Rep. James Traficant, Jr. (Ohio) addressing the House:

"Mr. Speaker, we are here now in chapter 11.. Members of Congress are official trustees presiding over the greatest reorganization of any Bankrupt entity in world history, the U.S. Government. We are setting forth hopefully, a blueprint for our future. There are some who say it is a coroner’s report that will lead to our demise.

It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. H.J.R. 192, 73rd Congress m session June 5, 1933 - Joint Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official capacities of all United States Governmental Offices, Officers, and Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal Government exists today in name only.

The receivers of the United States Bankruptcy are the International Bankers, via the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. All United States Offices, Officials, and Departments are now operating within a de facto status in name only under Emergency War Powers. With the Constitutional Republican form of Government now dissolved, the receivers of the Bankruptcy have adopted a new form of government for the United States. This new form of government is known as a Democracy, being an established Socialist/Communist order under a new governor for America. This act was instituted and established by transferring and/or placing the Office of the Secretary of Treasury to that of the Governor of the International Monetary Fund. Public Law 94-564, page 8, Section H.R. 13955 reads in part: "The U.S. Secretary of Treasury receives no compensation for representing the United States?’

Gold and silver were such a powerful money during the founding of the united states of America, that the founding fathers declared that only gold or silver coins can be "money" in America. Since gold and silver coinage were heavy and inconvenient for a lot of transactions, they were stored in banks and a claim check was issued as a money substitute. People traded their coupons as money, or "currency." Currency is not money, but a money substitute. Redeemable currency must promise to pay a dollar equivalent in gold or silver money. Federal Reserve Notes (FRNs) make no such promises, and are not "money." A Federal Reserve Note is a debt obligation of the federal United States government, not "money?’ The federal United States government and the U.S. Congress were not and have never been authorized by the Constitution for the united states of America to issue currency of any kind, but only lawful money, -gold and silver coin.

It is essential that we comprehend the distinction between real money and paper money substitute. One cannot get rich by accumulating money substitutes, one can only get deeper into debt. We the People no longer have any "money." Most Americans have not been paid any "money" for a very long time, perhaps not in their entire life. Now do you comprehend why you feel broke? Now, do you understand why you are "bankrupt," along with the rest of the country?

Federal Reserve Notes (FRNs) are unsigned checks written on a closed account. FRNs are an inflatable paper system designed to create debt through inflation (devaluation of currency). when ever there is an increase of the supply of a money substitute in the economy without a corresponding increase in the gold and silver backing, inflation occurs.

Inflation is an invisible form of taxation that irresponsible governments inflict on their citizens. The Federal Reserve Bank who controls the supply and movement of FRNs has everybody fooled. They have access to an unlimited supply of FRNs, paying only for the printing costs of what they need. FRNs are nothing more than promissory notes for U.S. Treasury securities (T-Bills) - a promise to pay the debt to the Federal Reserve Bank.

There is a fundamental difference between "paying" and "discharging" a debt. To pay a debt, you must pay with value or substance (i.e. gold, silver, barter or a commodity). With FRNs, you can only discharge a debt. You cannot pay a debt with a debt currency system. You cannot service a debt with a currency that has no backing in value or substance. No contract in Common law is valid unless it involves an exchange of "good & valuable consideration." Unpayable debt transfers power and control to the sovereign power structure that has no interest in money, law, equity or justice because they have so much wealth already.

Their lust is for power and control. Since the inception of central banking, they have controlled the fates of nations.

The Federal Reserve System is based on the Canon law and the principles of sovereignty protected in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In fact, the international bankers used a "Canon Law Trust" as their model, adding stock and naming it a "Joint Stock Trust." The U.S. Congress had passed a law making it illegal for any legal "person" to duplicate a "Joint Stock Trust" in 1873. The Federal Reserve Act was legislated post-facto (to 1870), although post-facto laws are strictly forbidden by the Constitution. [1:9:3]

The Federal Reserve System is a sovereign power structure separate and distinct from the federal United States government. The Federal Reserve is a maritime lender, and/or maritime insurance underwriter to the federal United States operating exclusively under Admiralty/Maritime law. The lender or underwriter bears the risks, and the Maritime law compelling specific performance in paying the interest, or premiums are the same.

Assets of the debtor can also be hypothecated (to pledge something as a security without taking possession of it.) as security by the lender or underwriter. The Federal Reserve Act stipulated that the interest on the debt was to be paid in gold. There was no stipulation in the Federal Reserve Act for ever paying the principle.

Prior to 1913, most Americans owned clear, allodial title to property, free and clear of any liens or mortgages until the Federal Reserve Act (1913)

"Hypothecated" all property within the federal United States to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, -in which the Trustees (stockholders) held legal title. The U.S. citizen (tenant, franchisee) was registered as a "beneficiary" of the trust via his/her birth certificate. In 1933, the federal United States hypothecated all of the present and future properties, assets and labor of their "subjects," the 14th Amendment U.S. citizen, to the Federal Reserve System.

In return, the Federal Reserve System agreed to extend the federal United States corporation all the credit "money substitute" it needed. Like any other debtor, the federal United States government had to assign collateral and security to their creditors as a condition of the loan. Since the federal United States didn’t have any assets, they assigned the private property of their "economic slaves", the U.S. citizens as collateral against the unpayable federal debt. They also pledged the unincorporated federal territories, national parks forests, birth certificates, and nonprofit organizations, as collateral against the federal debt. All has already been transferred as payment to the international bankers.

Unwittingly, America has returned to its pre-American Revolution, feudal roots whereby all land is held by a sovereign and the common people had no rights to hold allodial title to property. Once again, We the People are the tenants and sharecroppers renting our own property from a Sovereign in the guise of the Federal Reserve Bank. We the people have exchanged one master for another.

This has been going on for over eighty years without the "informed knowledge" of the American people, without a voice protesting loud enough. Now it’s easy to grasp why America is fundamentally bankrupt.

Why don’t more people own their properties outright?

Why are 90% of Americans mortgaged to the hilt and have little or no assets after all debts and liabilities have been paid? Why does it feel like you are working harder and harder and getting less and less?

We are reaping what has been sown, and the results of our harvest is a painful bankruptcy, and a foreclosure on American property, precious liberties, and a way of life. Few of our elected representatives in Washington, D.C. have dared to tell the truth. The federal United States is bankrupt. Our children will inherit this unpayable debt, and the tyranny to enforce paying it.

America has become completely bankrupt in world leadership, financial credit and its reputation for courage, vision and human rights. This is an undeclared economic war, bankruptcy, and economic slavery of the most corrupt order! Wake up America! Take back your Country."

Our only salvation lies in the fact that the deep state is not one single faction.  It is in fact a polyglot of conflicting fiefdoms.  The visible on going competition between the FBI and ATF is but a mere shadow, pun intended, of the competition going on in the alphabet soup that makes up the shadow state.

As things unwind expect a night of long knives in some of these groups.  The real question is who of the shadow operatives are going to wind up at the edge of a ditch with a gun to the back of their heads?

I checked his website and found nothing.  Check it out and let me know if I'm missing something https://www.donaldjtrump.com/

Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren 2016: For sanity's sake.

Listening right now to an American Top 40 show from July 31, 1971, and playing now at number 10 is "Abraham, Martin and John" by Tom Clay. Man, what a horrible time the 1960s were for liberal, intelligent people. I'm glad I didn't have to live through it.

Three truly amazing people, taken away by murderous, fascist creeps. That was still a time when the rich and elite held a sense of "nobless oblige". Today, they only hold a sense of "What's mine is mine, and what's yours is also mine".

I like the parts of that song where little children are asked what "bigotry", "prejudice" and "segregation" are, and they don't know. I wish we all didn't know. I still wish, though I don't believe in wishing. Ironic, huh?

For fucks sake, lets just go balls to the wall commie. To their credit, they don't try to hide it at least. Thats what America has come down to commicrats are the salvation.

Commie. You're funny. You don't have a grasp on politics and political systems if you think that Sanders and Warren are communist.

I guess caring about income inequality and the lives of the 99% is communist thinking in America.

It is the increasing governmental intrusion in our lives and our relationships that has caused this inequality you are so concerned with, as can be seen in how that gap has widened greatly under the current hopey changey 'for the little guy'  guy, so for insanities sake, by gawd lets have MOAR.

tsar pointless? hmmmm perhaps tsar brainless.

It is the increasing governmental intrusion in our lives.....a government who gets legislation written directly by corporations.

A government, controlled by corporations,  that is increasing it's hold on the people is fascism and is not in any way communism.

exactly right, big business NEEDS big government - only way to stifle competition. So whats your point, Fauxcohantas and Bernie are going to change all that? Just like Obama, and Hitlery promise?

if you're pinning your hopes on Fauxcohantas you are to be be pitied most of all.

i guess i was just pointing out that you keep saying communism, when it's not. Knowingly or not, you continue the divide by raising the spectre of socialism and communism, when it's really fascism.

Communism and fascism are kissing cousins. The only real difference is that fascists are nationalists and commies are globalists. Other than that, it's the exact same central-planning, elitist bullshit.

no, it's not. Fascism is corporate totalitarianism where corporations own everything and dictate via government, communism is ownership by everyone.

Socialism and communism work very well until hijacked by the same sociopaths that have hijacked the mythical captitalist society.

One wonders what the purpose of the Kennedy clan was in the ZWO advancement. Was JFK's purpose to get minorities as a block in to the demicrap party, as many were not prior to him, and once mission accomplished him and Bobby could be dispatched, with Teddy seeing the handwriting on the wall? The micks did their deal and then were expendable since not WASP or Ashkenazi.

The media can't attack Trump enough, the last thing the zionist mdia wants to talk about is immigration.

I don't know if Trump is the real deal, or ust a distraction, but if the media hates him, he must be doing something right.

Uh, who gives a s**t? I stopped paying attention to this farce many years ago and so should anyone else with a brain they actually use.

At least some of the young get it. From Chris Hardwick on @Midnight earlier this week:

"The presidential election is only 15 months away and pundits are all abuzz about which empty suit the American people will grudgingly select to steward the oligarchy until we repeat the charade again four years from now."

Trump's real agenda?

1) Suck up all the oxygen in the (remaining tatters of the) political discourse

2)Make everyone who opposes the Establishment look like a complete lunatic to the "moderates."

The effect of this will be to drive the bulk of the GOP primary voters to vote for Jeb. This gives us Jeb/Hitlery 2016 - which is EXACTLY what Trump and the rest of the oligarchs really want.

And the final thing to understand is this: It's ALL being done to stop Rand Paul. EVERY OTHER GOP CANDIDATE IS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. The oligarchy is TERRIFIED of ANYONE they can't control even having a chance of winning. And Rand, having watched what the media did to his dad, has played smart enough politics that he can't be painted with the kook brush like Ron was.

I am not sure about that, if it were left up to the powers that be, I don't think we would be having this conversation about illegal or legal immigration. There is nothing the corporate/zionist media wants to talk about less than immigration, they want America to be turned into a third world country, slowly and quietly.

So the fact that Trump IS talking about it, is itself interesting.

Well, I do not agree that the Pauls are controlled opposition. But we can both agree that Cruz, Rubio, Walker et al. are most definitely NWO puppets dutifully playing their roles.

So we have Rand Paul, who is a maybe, and everyone else, who is a definitely.

I'll take a slim chance over no chance at all.

Your entitled to your opinion, and I somewhat respect that,,,, but that being said

The last guy named Paul running for president took my money and run home with it, not once making an honest effort to get elected and absolutely destroyed the hopes of those youngsters that went out and stumped for him. Can't count the number of "money bombs" they held for him.

Well he demolished them... which is why you don't see them in this election cycle.

I found it very interesting how, in the earliest primaries, the polling numbers that showed Ron Paul leading Mitt Romney wound up being a mirror image of the acual primary results. An exact mirror image; if it was Romney 8%, Paul 12%, the vote tally was Romney 12%, Paul 8%.

Hmmmmmm.

So, while you are also entitled to your opinion, I must respectfully disagree. I think, especially when you consider the shenanigans that Weepy Boy pulled during the convention, that Ron Paul made a very serious effort to get elected. The reason his supporters have faded back into the woodwork is because they've seen how thoroughly the game is rigged by the NWO/ZWO.

Of course you are correct, but I would not blame this simply on the voters, when you have a media that is as corrupt and manipulative as America's don't expect well informed voters. The US voter has been so divided so distracted and so deluded, they don't know who to believe...and honestly, no matter how much I read and try to become informed, I don't know if I am much better. At this point I don't think the system can be saved, it has lost all credibility.

In the age of the super information highway the Media excuse no longer applies. One must accept consequences for ones action OR inaction.

The truth is out there, and not hard to find. The present imbeciles running for office are of the highest criminal order. (oder?) A quick survey of their past lies and behavior attest to that.

Taking the lollypop they give for your vote is dishonest at best and disgusting at worse.

The confidence of the Demonrats has NOTHING to do with Mr Trump, he, alone, has made them a tad nervous. However since the Puppet Masters control BOTH political parties as well as the mainstream media, amongst other things:

Who runs Hollywood? C'mon
Joel Stein, Los Angeles Times December 19, 2008

I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe "the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews," down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.

I don't care if Americans think we're (Jews) running the news media, Hollywood, Wall Street or the government. I just care that we get to keep running them.

It is DEMOGRAPHICS, and THAT is why the Demonrats are relaxed, and confident, TIME is on their side:

Howell Raines, former head editor of the New York Times, who lost his job over the Jayson Blair fraud. Writing in the Times Sunday July 12, 2015.
The Dream World of the Southern Republicans

Even more dramatic changes in voter attitudes will shift the region’s party balance, to the detriment of the Republicans. This won’t come about because current Republican voters and their elected officials now in office will somehow be converted, but because they will be overwhelmed by new voters in the burgeoning Hispanic and Asian communities, who will join the black minority. Over half of the nation’s 40 million blacks live in the South.

For the time being, however, a traveler through the South can’t help but notice that its affluent, suburban whites remain myopic about the obvious signs, like the multiracial families to be seen among Walmart shoppers on any given day in any shopping mall.

Houston and Dallas are among the 11 American cities with the largest Hispanic populations. Vibrant Vietnamese communities are all along the Gulf Coast. Major cities have Spanish-language advertising, and have or soon will have sleek Latino-oriented shopping centers, like the new one on the fashionable southern side of Birmingham. The Asian presence in the medical, academic and business communities is substantial and growing, perhaps most notably in Baton Rouge, where Bobby Jindal, the governor of Louisiana and presidential candidate (who is Asian-American, like Gov. Nikki R. Haley of South Carolina), works.

Judging from the laws they are passing, Southern Republicans seem untroubled by Mitt Romney’s 17 percent of the minority vote in the last presidential election. It seems an overstatement to say that Southern Republicans are in outright denial about the fact that whites will be a minority in America around 2043. It does seem fair to say that the national Republican Party is underreacting, and Southern Republicans seem to be especially resistant to appealing to their minority neighbors. …
The statistical evidence shouts otherwise. “Demography is destiny” …

And how this happened see:
Ted Kennedy is not responsible for the Immigration Act of 1965

Obama’s ICE Director: No Immigration Enforcement Until Amnesty Is Passed

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) repeatedly pressed Saldaña on why the Administration was taking no action against sanctuary jurisdictions that refuse to turn over dangerous criminal aliens from their prisons and jails to federal law officers. Saldaña replied that Congress would first have to pass “comprehensive immigration reform.”

Vitter: “This has been going on for years and you still are not prepared to say that there is ever going to be any negative consequence to those [sanctuary] jurisdictions. When is that going to change?”

Saldaña: “I presume when you all address comprehensive immigration reform; perhaps it can be addressed there.”
