It's Really Very Simple...

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Dmitry Orlov via Club Orlov blog,

There are times when a loud cry of “The emperor has no clothes!” can be most copacetic. And so, let me point out something quite simple, yet very important.

The old world order, to which we became accustomed over the course of the 1990s and the 2000s, its crises and its problems detailed in numerous authoritative publications on both sides of the Atlantic—it is no more. It is not out sick and it is not on vacation. It is deceased. It has passed on, gone to meet its maker, bought the farm, kicked the bucket and joined the crowd invisible. It is an ex-world order.

If we rewind back to the early 1980s, we can easily remember how the USSR was still running half of Europe and exerting major influence on a sizable chunk of the world. World socialist revolution was still sputtering along, with pro-Soviet regimes coming in to power here and there in different parts of the globe, the chorus of their leaders' official pronouncements sounding more or less in unison. The leaders made their pilgrimages to Moscow as if it were Mecca, and they sent their promising young people there to learn how to do things the Soviet way. Soviet technology continued to make impressive advances: in the mid-1980s the Soviets launched into orbit a miracle of technology—the space station Mir, while Vega space probes were being dispatched to study Venus.

But alongside all of this business-as-usual the rules and principles according which the “red” half of the globe operated were already in an advanced state of decay, and a completely different system was starting to emerge both at the center and along the periphery. Seven years later the USSR collapsed and the world order was transformed, but many people simply couldn't believe in the reality of this change. In the early 1990s many political scientists were self-assuredly claiming that what is happening is the realization of a clever Kremlin plan to modernize the Soviet system and that, after a quick rebranding, it will again start taking over the world. People like to talk about what they think they can understand, never mind whether it still exists.

And what do we see today? The realm that self-identifies itself as “The West” is still claiming to be leading economically, technologically, and to be dominant militarily, but it has suffered a moral defeat, and, strictly as a consequence of this moral defeat, a profound ideological defeat as well.

It's simple.

How can they talk of the inviolability of private property while confiscating the savings of depositors in Cypriot banks?

How can they talk of safeguarding the territorial integrity of countries while destroying, in turn, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine?

How can they talk of free enterprise and then sign contracts to build ships but then refuse to deliver them because of pressure from Washington, as happened with Mistral ships which Russia ordered from France?

How can they talk of democracy and then use naked threats against the premier of Greece—the birthplace of European democracy—forcing him to ignore the unprofitable results of the Greek national referendum?

How can they talk about fighting racism while in the US they are constantly shooting mass quantities of unarmed Negros, all the while forbidding people to call them Negros.

How can they accuse Serbs of genocide while refusing to acknowledge what they did to supposedly “independent” Kosovo, which has been turned into a European criminal enclave specializing in the production and distribution of narcotics?

How can they talk about justice while the US maintains the largest prison population in the history of the world and has executed many people subsequently discovered to have been innocent?

How can they accuse others of corruption after the colossal financial embarrassment of 2008, in the run-up to which obvious financial bubbles that were ready to bust were assigned the highest ratings?

What has happened is the worst thing that could have possibly happened: in full view of the entire world, “Western values” have been demonstrated to be null and void.

Are there any “Western values” left intact? Just one: the rights of sexual minorities. But it is not possible to maintain Western civilization on the strength of gay marriage alone.

Is it any wonder then that the rest of the world is trying to put as much distance between itself and the morally bankrupt “West” as it possibly can, as quickly as it can? China is working on developing its own model, Russia is striving for self-sufficiency and independence from Western imports and finance, and even Latin America, once considered the backyard of the US, is increasingly going its own separate way.

The ranks of the fools who are still buying the West's story are shrinking, while the ranks of the rebels are growing. There is the truth-teller Edward Snowden, who was forced to flee to Moscow to avoid persecution back home. There are European parliamentarians who recently broke ranks and visited Crimea. There are French and German military men who are volunteering to defend Eastern Ukraine against Western attack. There are the many European businessmen who came to the Economics Forum in St. Petersburg to sign trade deals with Russia, never mind what their politicians think of that.

On the other side, the rapidly emerging new world order was recently on display in Ufa, capital of the majority-Moslem Republic of Bashkortostan in Southern Urals, Russian Federation. Leaders of more than half the world's population came there to sign deals, integrate their economies, and coordinate security arrangements. India and Pakistan set their differences aside and walked in through the door at the same time; Iran is next. “The West” was not represented there.

Now that all Western values (other than the rights of sexual minorities) have been shown to be cynical exercises in hypocrisy, there is no path back. You see, it is a matter of reputation, and a reputation is something that one can lose exactly once. There is no path back. There is a path forward, but it is very frightening. There is the loss of control: Western institutions can no longer control the situation throughout much of the world, including, in due course, on their own territory. There is the abandonment of the Western narrative: Western pontificators, pundits and “thought leaders” will find that their talking points have been snatched away and will be reduced to either babbling apologetically or lapsing into embarrassed silence. Finally, there is the loss of identity: it is not possible, for the non-delusional, to identify with something (“The West”) that no longer exists.

But the most frightening thing of all is this:

behind a morally bankrupt civilization there are morally bankrupt people - lots and lots of them. Their own children, who will be forced to make their way in the world - whatever it turns out to be - will be as disrespectful of them as they were of their own vaunted civilizational values.

Chapter 3 - Conditioning

Does a child not have as much right to privacy and freedom from parental conditioning as the parents expect for themselves? It is one of the most fundamental problems facing humanity today. The future depends on how we solve it. It has never been encountered before. For the first time man has come of age, a certain maturity has happened - and as you become mature you have to face new problems.

Slowly, slowly, as man progressed, he became aware of many kinds of slavery. Only recently in the West have we become aware that the greatest slavery is that of the child. It was never thought of before; it is not mentioned in any scripture of the world. Who could have thought ... a child and a slave? A slave to his own parents, who love him, who sacrifice themselves for the child? It would have looked ridiculous, utter nonsense!

But now, as psychological insight has deepened into the human mind and its functioning, it has become absolutely clear that the child is the most exploited person; nobody has been exploited more than the child. And of course he is being exploited behind a façade of love.

And I don't say that the parents are aware that they are exploiting the child, that they are imposing a slavery on the child, that they are destroying the child, that they are making him stupid, unintelligent, that their whole effort of conditioning the child as a Hindu, as a Mohammedan, as a Christian, as a Buddhist, is inhuman; they are not aware of it, but that does not make any difference as far as the facts are concerned. The child is being conditioned by the parents in ugly ways, and of course the child is helpless: he depends on the parents. He cannot rebel, he cannot escape, he cannot protect himself. He is absolutely vulnerable; hence he can be easily exploited.

Parental conditioning is the greatest slavery in the world. It has to be completely uprooted, only then will man be able for the first time to be really free, truly free, authentically free, because the child is the father of the man. If the child is brought up in a wrong way then the whole of humanity goes wrong. The child is the seed: if the seed itself is poisoned and corrupted by well-intentioned people, well-wishing people, then there is no hope for a free human individual. Then that dream can never be fulfilled.

What you think you have is not individuality, it is only personality. It is something cultivated in you, in your nature, by your parents, the society, the priest, the politician, the educators. The educator, from the kindergarten to the university, is in the service of the vested interests, of the establishment. His whole purpose is to destroy every child in such a way, to cripple every child in such a way that he adjusts to the established society. There is a fear. The fear is that if the child is left unconditioned from the very beginning he will be so intelligent, he will be so alert, aware, that his whole lifestyle will be of rebellion. And nobody wants rebels; everybody wants obedient people.

Wrong.

Human beings have the capacity for evil, therefore, there must be laws to set limits. Then there must be arbitrators (judges) to settle criminal and civil disputes. I believe, as far as governance is concerned, this is both a minimum requirement and maximum allowable itrusion into private life.

I would have to agree. There are a lot of good, honest people trying to spread ideas as fast as possible. But there are still a lot of people asleep, in denial that any of this is happening. I have been trying to do what I can for the past 7 years and have seen it all. I used to work in mainstream media (all the way up to the #4 market in the nation) & we're in a massive uphill battle of ideas. We have the NSA spying on everybody and possibly blackmailing our govt. We now have the IRS targeting groups that are trying to do what they can to spread ideas. The media works hand in hand with either the govt or big corporations. They lie about the truth in elections or spread propaganda something fierce. Many are starting websites and alternative media in hopes to get the message out faster. We are all fighting any attempts to disarm us....even NY is putting up a big fight against gun control there. I believe there is a massive psy ops going on today. The media throws big stories at us every few days in order to confuse us so we don't stay on them. So many people are falling for it. It's a war against the American people. Those who still believe in the Constitution and bill of rights are being demonized. Obama subtlety pushes for racial division, or not so subtlety. The good thing about that is I encounter a lot of African Americans who, like me (I'm white), have no desire whatsoever to become divided. They've always been kind and courteous to me as I have been to them.  The last thing those in power want is for Americans of all kinds, colors, shapes, sexes, political affiliations to go "behind the barn" to have civil discussion. But we're doing just that.  I've seen a lot of positive changes in the past 7 years on the peoples' side but the govt is really heating up the rhetoric against good people, looking for ways to shut us up, disarm us, end all privacy, etc. All these wars & meddling going on around the world, the govt doesn't care what the people think. I really don't know how it's going to stop. I know some here aren't praying people but I am. I'm going to keep sounding the alarm and saying prayers too. I think every person has the power to do what they can. It's the overcoming ignorance that is the hardest for me. I'll keep praying.

Those of us who are not white need to wake up.  The pathway to hell is always paved with good intentions.  The assertion that gun abolition is about saving black and brown lives is pure hyperbole.  Bloomberg took of his social mask some months ago and revealed his true agenda was to disarm black males.  Honest Jews against gun control have put up a genocide chart that clearly reveals that gun abolition is a precursor to genocide.  Once the population is disarmed, minorities will be exterminated in the coming social chaos brought on by economic collapse. In as much as being a minority is very much an issue of location, being white in cities like Jackson, Mississippi may very well be fatal when government life support is disrupted.  Remember that the EBT program is run by J.P. Morgan.  Once the Morgue implodes there goes the cities and much of the rest of the country.

No one is served by disarming the populace except the power brokers who want free reign to determine who lives and who dies.   Some within the black community are awake.

Gallup International: 59% of Armenia respondents prefer Russia

http://news.am/eng/news/278439.html

YEREVAN. – If Armenia had to join another country, it should be Russia.

According to a survey conducted by the Gallup International Association Armenia Office, the aforementioned is the view of the 59 percent of the respondents in this survey.

The survey was conducted in capital city Yerevan and in the provinces, from May 5 to 13, and through private conversations with 1,105 respondents.

The respective indicator was 63 percent in November 2014; it dropped to 55 percent in March of the current year, but again increased a little afterward.

A total of 28 percent of respondents, however, believe that Armenia should not join any country. The respective figure was 27 percent in November 2014, and 23 percent in March this year.

In contrast, the number of supporters of joining the European Union has increased. In the case when the number of such people in Armenia was 7 percent in November 2014, this indicator reached 15 percent this March, which, however, again dropped this time to 8 percent in May of the current year.

Not sure how anyone with straight face can say that killing (unknown) number of "men of fighting age" in Srebrenica under unknown circumstances while busing women and children to safe areas is now considered to be worse than Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Dresden etc.

But for the sake of argument lets consider Fallujah, which also figures "men of fighting age" as well as women and children and how did US act in those circumstances:

The U.S. military first denied that it has used white phosphorus as an anti-personnel weapon in Fallujah, but later retracted that denial, and admitted to using the incendiary in the city as an offensive weapon.[22]According to George Monbiot, reports following the events of November 2004 have alleged war crimes, human rights abuses, and a massacre by U.S. personnel.[23] This point of view is presented in the 2005 documentary film, Fallujah, The Hidden Massacre.

The film alleges that the US military deliberately targeted Iraqi civilians and children during the Fallujah offensive as part of its campaign to exterminate opposition to its occupation. The film interviews former US Army scout Garret Reppenhagen, also from Colorado, who claims that civilian deaths were common and intentional. However this claim, like some other claims made in this documentary, is unsubstantiated due to the fact that those being interviewed had no part in the fighting in November 2004 in Fallujah.

The US military responded by stating that they gave civilians several days of advance warning of the assault and urged them to evacuate the city. This was done through loudspeakers and leaflets dropped by helicopter. However, men of "fighting age" were stopped from leaving the city, numerous women and children also stayed behind, and a corresponndent for the Guardian estimated that between 30,000 and 50,000 civilians were still in the city when the assault took place.[4

According to Mike Marqusee of Iraq Occupation Focus writing in the Guardian, "Fallujah's compensation commissioner has reported that 36,000 of the city's 50,000 homes were destroyed, along with 60 schools and 65 mosques and shrines".[27

Any system devised by man will eventually founder on the shoals of its own contradictions. In the case of the current Western, materialistic mindset, we are now in the end stages of consumerism and materialism. The path forward is quite clear, we have to learn to live in a way that can go on for generation after generation without damaging the ecosystem, in harmony with nature, instead of seeking to endlessly exploit and dominate nature.

Before we can stop tearing holes in Mother Earth in search of treasure, we need to start looking into filling the holes in ourselves that compel us to behave this way. Mindless materialism has led the West to the edge of the abyss, it's time to leave that behind. The planet is undergoing the sixth "great extinction," as the ecosystem begins to collapse under the collective weight of human demands and runaway greed, so it's not like we have a lot of time to ponder the pros and cons of this; we need to re-asses what we value and what we're willing to do and to tolerate in order to have a good life.

Respect has to be earned, it is not an automatic thing like obedience to authoritarian Gangsters is in Mexico, or on Wall Street. It is a sign of progress that any future generations will disavow themselves from the racketeering that has manifested over the last two decades of Cocaine & Methamphetamine Inc. running Wall Street Banks with drug money laundering proceeds. All I have witnessed in my lifetime is one gigantic pyramid scheme foisted upon civilization by Americans from New York City.

If New York City alone stopped buying Cocaine from Mexico their armed forces could likely stop all the drug cartels from executing children, and students in Mexico. Mexico is a nation on the edge of existence because Wall Street can't stop doing Cocaine.

While the drama has yet to reach is final act, I would have to caution people against assuming that empires have a straight line rise-and-fall fate written in their stars. Some do indeed collapse at the first challenge, while others reinvent and reinvigorate themselves and stand for great lengths of time. The career of the Roman Emperor Constantine stands as a good example of this ability to regenerate. Byzantium also offers many instances of remarkable recovery-- such as the colorful reign of the great Justinian and his forceful Empress Theodora.

I, for one, retain some hope that the flickering candle of liberty will withstand the coming storm and blaze forth to totally kick the asses of those who have done their best to extinguish it.

If the effort fails, I will at least go to my Maker secure in the knowledge that I did not abandon the great cause in its hour of greatest need.

Tarabel, I am with you darling if you can stand an old geezer standing in the ranks with you.  As this state run monopoly unwinds, there is a real opportunity to embrace the ideals of our past.  Here at the end of the Republic, many are going back and rereading the founding documents.  Those documents were never about what we were.  They were always about what we could be.  Many times we have stumbled but the torch burned on. Now the torch of liberty is all but extinguished. It may go out for a moment in the public places but the flame of liberty still burns in the hearts of millions of Americans.  It will reignite in the public places once the coming collapse breaks the current monopoly’s strangle hold on the nation.

Our job is to keep alive the knowledge that in the original system there was a balance of power between not only the three branches of the federal government; there was also a balance of power between the federal government, the states and the people.  I am quite convinced that as debauchery, avarice and ineptitude consumes the centers of power in New York and Washington, the states and the people will reassert themselves.

Ufa, capital of the majority-Moslem Republic of Bashkortostan in Southern Urals, Russian Federation

I would not blame most Americans for thinking of a city called Ufa, and laughing their asses off! Some post Soviet backwater, in the middle of nowhere, some hell hole on the Eurasian steppes. A corrupt decayed piss hole. That is what most of you would expect, especially given the media picture painted of Russia.

Well, this is no bull shit, I know where Ufa is, and have actually been there on one of my European trips. If you were to drive into the city from the south west, you would enter many of the new housing developments, they stretch all along the fine new highways that enter the city through farm lands and grazing fields. The public buildings and corporate headquarters are mostly new, modern and actually of a standard equal to anything western. The boom in new housing, large brick houses, built to many different individual patterns is amazing. No standard McManison shit, each house is unique, two and three stories. Towards the old town, there still are some of the Soviet era three story high and block long brick substandard housing, some in bad shape, a few rebuilt to much nicer standards.

I won't waste your time. just let me say, if you could drive around Ufa for even 1/2 of an hour, you would return home shell shocked by the modern beautiful city that Ufa is. And it is growing like mad, a center of technology, manufacturing and agriculture. If you think Obama can sanction Russia and make it fall, I suggest a trip to Ufa, you would never again think for one minute that Russia needs Obama and the West. This land is so vast and so ready for more development. Ufa is the new Russia, and I frankly was impressed no end! And I have seen Russia in the 80's, 90's & 2000's. The last trip was a shock, just on how much has been done in a decade. And Ufa is the perfect example. It ain't a hell hole, it is clean, modern and slowly cleaning up the old trashy Soviet legacy.

So the first question I always ask myself when reading articles such as this is...

Where does the author, in this case-- Dmitri Orlov, choose to live?

In the evil, degenerate land of the Yankee that is so wicked and corrupt and disgusting or in noble, virtuous, wave-of-the-future Russia?

Uh-huh, you all know the answer to that one, don't you?

So click onto his actual blogspot through the link listed above and peruse his appeals for filthy western lucre to finance his efforts and take note of his disdain for ZH.

I was raised on the principle that you should practice what you preach.

The only thing that I admired about "Western Civilization" was the development of the scientific methods. The problems that "Western Civilization" have are basic to the history of all of Neolithic Civilizations' social pyramid systems based upon being able to back up lies with violence. The history of warfare created "Western Civilization," and then that enabled the globalized development of a political economy based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS. The essential paradoxes, or double-bind Catch 22s, that "Western Civilization" faces are due to the history of successful warfare based on deceits, enabling successful finance to become based upon frauds.

The longer term problems that "Western Civilization" faces are whether or not it could survive the progress in physical science that it has achieved. So far, that appears to be quite improbable. There is practically NO progress in political science, because the basic structure of "Western Civilization" is based on integrated systems of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, which systems are operated by the best available professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. In my view, the ONLY way that "Western Civilization" could survive would be for its political science to go through profound paradigm shifts, that surpass those which have already been achieved in physical science. Furthermore, in my view, authors like Orlov do not come within light years of actually doing that in any adequate ways.

By and large, the vast majority of people continue to want to take for granted old-fashioned religions and ideologies as the basis of their political science, which means that there is practically no genuine political science which is publicly significant. Instead, the Grand Canyon Chasms between progress in physical science, without that being surpassed by progress in political science, continues to get wider and wider. The primary reasons for that are the history of the biggest bullies' bullshit world view expressed through the dominate natural languages, as well as the dominate philosophy of science, so that those extreme prejudices tend to continue to be almost totally taken for granted by the overwhelming vast majority of people, who continue to want to think through using dualities, relying upon false fundamental dichotomies, and the related impossible ideals.

The tragic trajectory we have been on with respect to FAKE "political science" has been the development of an oxymoronic scientific dictatorship, that is only interested in evidence and logic to the extent that those can enable becoming better at backing up lies with violence, but is NOT interesting in becoming more scientific about itself. The first generations that grew up with there being globalized electronic monkey money frauds, backed by the threat of force from apes with atomic bombs, are still alive today. That those technologies have become trillions of times more capable and powerful than ever before in now known human history means that the social pyramid systems based upon being able to back up lies with violence have become psychotic, runaway, criminal insanities, as was reviewed correctly in the article above by Orlov.

However, there is nothing in anything that I have read by Orlov that follows through to promote any better basis for civilization, beyond recognizing that the old one has serious problems, which are automatically getting worse, faster. In my view, the human species could only survive having developed better physical science by going through sufficient changes to create some Translithic Civilization, to replace the current Neolithic styles of civilization. More than anything else, that means that human beings and civilizations would have to develop better death control systems.

The BIG PROBLEM is how to operate any human murder systems, that back up human money systems, after the development of atomic bombs to back up electronic frauds? So far, the only things that have happened within the life time of the first generations to experience those realities, which are still alive today, have been to continue to develop the MADNESS of MAD Money As Debt, backed by MAD Mutual Assured Destruction.

The previously established systems of debt slavery, backed by wars based on deceits, were what "Western Civilization" was actually doing, and is doing now, through sociopolitical systems whereby governments ENFORCE FRAUDS by privately controlled banks, while that works because the most successful politicians are the banksters' puppets, that are voted for by enough of the masses of muppets, in order to keep those systems going ... However, there are an abundance of reasons, on various different levels, for doubting that those systems based upon combined money/murder systems operating through ENFORCED FRAUDS will be able to endlessly continue. Rather, those were on roughly exponential growth curves, towards them overshooting in spectacular ways!

"Western Civilization" was driven by natural selection pressures to develop artificial selection systems which were most socially successful when done through the maximum possible deceits and frauds. However, all of the progress in physical science has made those combined money/murder systems based on ENFORCING FRAUDS become more and more problematic. However, at the same time, "Western Civilization" has not yet been able to renew itself, because that would necessarily take applying more genuinely scientific methods and concepts to understand itself.

Orlov is certainly correct that "Western Civilization" has become almost totally dominated by professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. However, Orlov does not appear to have the slightest clue about what would be required to resolve that situation in any more favourable ways. Indeed, generally speaking, those are the reasons for how and why "Western Civilization" is in such serious trouble.

To develop better political science would require enough people to start using unitary mechanisms, rather than continue to rely upon the dualities of false fundamental dichotomies, and the related impossible ideals. To overcome the problems that our politics is almost totally dominated by professional liars and immaculate hypocrites would require much more radical truths, and more realistic ideals. Of course, at the present time, those barely exist in the public spaces, because the only things that significantly exist now are the core of organized crime, surrounded by controlled opposition groups. In my view, Orlov fits the general pattern of being "controlled opposition" too, in the sense that Cognitive Dissonance once published on Zero Hedge: "The absolute best controlled opposition is one that doesn't know they are controlled."

"Western Civilization" has become almost totally based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS, to the degree that hardly anyone is willing and able to face more radical truths, or develop more realistic ideals. Almost everyone continues to almost totally take for granted DUALITIES, rather than starts to use more UNITARY MECHANISMS, and in those ways, "Western Civilization" has become an oxymoronic scientific dictatorship, which deliberately does not want to become more scientific about itself.

I REPEAT, the only way that "Western Civilization" could survive is for its politics to go through profound paradigm shifts that surpass those which were already achieved in its physical science. While that kind of progress in political science is theoretically possible, at the present time it appears to be politically impossible, due to the degree that all of the established systems, including both its core of organized crime, and its surrounding levels of controlled oppostion, are almost totally dominated by various sorts of professional liars and immaculate hypocrites, who are able to continue to perceive the world through taking for granted the dualities based upon false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals.

The prodigious progress in physical science was achieved through series of profound paradigm shifts, that tended to replace unitary mechanisms for the old notions based upon dualities. Since that progress in physical science has resulted in technologies which have become trillions of times more powerful and capable, it is becoming more and more imperative for political science to be transformed even more so, by going through profound paradigm shifts that surpass those which were achieved in physical science.

The only rational hopes that "Western Civilization" could have would be based upon going through intellectual scientific revolutions. That continues to be theoretically valid, despite that the practical social situation makes that appear to be politically impossible. After all, it is typical of critics such as Orlov to fail to understand that all of the other countries which may well become more able to resist the continued dominance of "Western Civilization" are also social pyramid systems, operated by their own kinds of professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. Given the degree to which "Western Civilizaiton" is based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS, I must admit that it appears to be nothing more than an irrational hope that could be changed, without those entrenched systems going through some degree of extremely dangerous psychotic breakdowns during those processes of transformation.

I basically agree with Orlov that the current form of "Western Civilization" is necessarily headed towards some series of psychotic breakdowns. However, so far, I have never found anything presented by Orlov that could provide some better social psychiatry to cope with that. I do not believe that there are any possible adequate "reforms" of "Western Civilization" which would or could be actually implemented. In my view, the essential insanity of "Western Civilization" is that it has become an oxymoronic scientific dictatorship, which adamantly refuses to become more genuinely scientific about itself. Similarly, at the same time, there barely is anything which is publicly significant than various controlled opposition groups, which recommend various ways of going backward, to old-fashioned religions and ideologies, as the basis for their bogus solutions to the problems that "Western Civilization" have developed, due to progress in physical science primarily being applied to become better at ENFORCING FRAUDS, by many orders of magnitude!

Meanwhile, I shall continue to promote the view that "Western Civilization" should go through intellectual scientific revolutions, in ways and to degrees that would make all of the previous paradigm shifts that have happened during human history look like nothing in comparison. At the present time, we have had things like quantum mechanics, and the special theory of relativity, that enabled "Western Civilization" to develop systems of globalized electronic frauds, backed by atomic bombs. However, so far, "Western Civilization" has done nothing more with respect to those, other than get MADDER & MADDER!

Yes, but the old USA and USSR Cold War was between groups who were both relatively rational materialists. These days, more and more, various religious fanatics have weapons of mass destruction.

Furthermore, the MAD military policies enabled the same old MAD monetary policies to continue, so that the underlying important FACTS were the exponential strip-mining of the planet, which has driven us towards more and more severe social and environmental consequences.

MAD military policies worked to "kick the can," like the MAD monetary policies that those backed up. However, there will be a limit, for some future generations, to being able to have continued to "kick the can."

More deeply, the MAD military policies enabled the social pyramid systems to become like they were "frozen in history." That MADNESS made it unnecessary to change the human death control systems, with the human murder systems at their core. Therefore, the implicit ways that the human ecology worked were maintained, the same as the political economy was maintained, by being entrenched systems of deceits and frauds, which did not have to correct themselves, since they had managed to freeze themselves into a history of always being able to kick the can on down the road ... which allowed all of the underlying problems to automatically get worse, every day ...

I stopped reading after the bullshit line of "hoards of unarmed blacks killed by police" more whites are killed by cops than blacks. Numerically, the prison system has more whites than you think! You may not believe me, but look into it. They can get away with lies because they use bullshit statistics or bastardize the stats by using things like "as a percentage of population". You can find a stat to back up any claim you want, but the reality is far different. If your white odds are you are more likely to be shot by a cop and blacks would get shit less if they stopped the back talk, followed commands and didn't run away... Are there injustices? Of course and we've recently seen a couple, but bottom line is that out if tens or hundreds of millions of police interactions every year there are about 600 police shootings a year, that's pretty low no matter how you try to slant the findings. As for the new world order or whatever, give me a fucking break. You really think US troops are gonna stick people into camps? Lay off the pot, and Alex Jones, and get back to reality. Seriously. Let's be clear. "The West" is not the western democracies, the G7, the Washington Consensus, etc. When the author mentions "The West", s/he refers to the Social Democratic, or Democratic Socialist West; ie, socialism, not capitalism. If the USA returns to a intergral capitalist system, all the doom and gloom that is the sole message of all the Russkyphiles on Zerohedge (Is there any other reason for Zerohedge to exist other than USA-bashing by Russkyphiles?) will be outed for the nonsense shit that it is.

The (capitalistic) USA works, but Russia doesn't. Russia has been, is now, and always will be a failed country, culture, and people.
