Once I drank too much and ordered the Bill Clinton "growing nose" watch after seeing the add on TV. It was very late. I actually called the number and bought the fucking thing. I still have it somewhere and I'm sure it stopped ticking long ago.
So American Enterprise can best be described as a series of worthless infomercials designed to sell us crap that the Chinese will end up making on the cheap.
Now think about how many people you know who have a two car garage, attic, and spare bedroom full of this shit that didn’t deliver on the perceived promise.
But, they just can’t let it go until someone comes along who will give them what they paid for it.
God forbid they might go out and actually invent or develop something that actually does work for them, and possibly others too.
One of the biggest problems today is TAXES if I was to manufacture anything today i would have to pay between 35% & 50% income tax on the income (so 3 to 5 hrs of my day is for the tax man) then to sell it to you, you have to pay 35% to 50% in taxes on your gross income to have the money left over to purchase what I made.
So essentially a $100 manufactured item has $80 worth of taxes paid therefore you have a $20 item, in other words a piece of shit. Thisis the reason no one can afford hand made furniture any more or in fact any item manufactured in the west. the labour and therofre workmanship or quality is taxed right out of the product. This is where China comes in, they work for $2 /day
The quality of items is taxed right out of them. The Gubbermint cannot and will not recognize this because it would be like the biggest game of musical chairs ever, which 60% of Gubbermint wants to not have a chair when the music stops? None, so this will continue until the entire system crashes, as they will point fingers at everyone else but never themselves.
Most of those commercials don't connect with the target audience which is why they are still hoping to get what they really want. This commercial is a classic example of laser-tight market focus and an instinctive feel for the intended demographic group:
I may be in the minority, but I do not see how making fun of the American people is beneficial in telling the story of what is really happening to the American country and people. Should not one's efforts be directed at the thieves, murderers and traitors plundering and oppressing the American country and people? Should not the criminals be more worthy of highlight, and not their victims?
How about Corzine, Wolfowitz , Bush Jr., Pelosi, Reid, the local gun and badge thugs, the national gun and badge thugs, Dimon, etc. and their apologists, and enablers?
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
Think of tyranny as radiation--Lethal in large doses immediately, or in small doses over time.
When I was a stockbroker, the manager had to finally put up a tastefully detailed sign in the lobby,
"This is not the bank. We do not guarantee returns on your investments. We do not, except with specific notification, insure your investments against a market loss of principle, or downturn of investment return. If you want those things, you will need to go to the bank. We are not the bank."
Worked like a charm...all our compliance complaints ended almost instantly.
