The fact that Gold and Silver are flat will mean the market will drink the Kool-aid; so I suspect that by the end of mid Friday, we will see the DJIA get to or exceed the 18k; that is about 250pts from now. If it were to go to new records, then you need to tack on another 250 pts and I do not think it will reach that. We seem to be oscilating between 18k down to 17.4K on the DJIA...all the other indexes follow the same pattern by design. They do seem to have a problem getting to go new records with any momentum. Right now it is just playing the squeeze game. Squeeze them up and squeeze them down and be sure to squeezem all around.
