Louis Farrakhan Urges Black Community To "Rise Up And Kill Those Who Kill Us"

Tyler Durden's picture

While the US has had its share of deadly social violence over the past year, much of split along along racial lines, it has mercifully avoided a full-blown racial war. However, in recent weeks there has been a troubling increase in invocations toward even more violence, and even more deaths, which seek to achieve just that: a United States gripped in racial warfare.

The latest such call for violence was caught on tape just a few days ago, when on July 30 during a speech delivered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan called for black Americans to "rise up" and "kill those who kill us" if the federal government fails to "intercede in our affairs."

Follows an excerpt from his troubling sermon:

I am looking for 10,000 in the midst of the millions, 10,000 fearless men who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny.

Death is sweeter than to continue to live and bury our children while the white folks give the killer hamburgers.

Death is sweeter than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of a 400-year old enemy.

The Koran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain.

Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling."

Recording below:

Video of the excerpt was posted on Farrakhan’s Facebook page Monday with the hashtag "#JusticeOrElse." So far there has been no condemnation of this open outcry to violence by anyone in the mainstream media.

The Blaze adds that Farrakhan is scheduled to speak next month in Washington, D.C., during a demonstration organized in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of his 1995 million man march.

Given the fact that most inter-racial murders and crimes are black on white, one has to wonder what the media reaction would be if the roles were reversed.  Suppose David Duke in a speech advocated "rising up and killing those who kill us!"

I'm deaf just imagining the howls of protest.  All we'll hear from Farrakhan's comments are crickets.

The truth is, segregation and racism never really ended in America. Institutional racism is deeply ingrained into our culture, our economy, our school systems, our political system, the media, and every human interaction. The problem is, white Americans are so racist, they don't even notice when they are being racist. Did you know that African Americans incarcerated at six times the rate of whites? This is simply shocking! Did you also know that one in three African Americans will go to prison in the course of their lives? One in three! That is absolutely outrageous! White people who believe there is no institutional racism in this country are blinded by their own privilege. If there is another incident of police violence against an African American, there is going to be a war in this country against racist right-wing whites. You know who you are: republicans, tea-partiers, Obama-haters, all of you.

Cool.  He's finally telling his peoples to kill the Obama-sons who statistically, overwhelmingly, kill them.  Yes!  Defend yourselves from the Obama-son thugs.  Shoot back and aim well.  That will stop the killing and violence quickly enough.  There are a LOT more good, upstanding, decent, blacks than thug Obama-sons.  Take back your communities and lives.

Actually, Farakkahns words would be excusable if the people he was talking to weren't the biggest bunch of knee-jerk reactive sheep in the world, and the issues he speaks out on weren't so terribly meaningless compared to the real causes of strife in the community he intends on speaking to.

That's what makes his stance so intolerable. If he were speaking to libertarians about not taking shit from power, everything he says would be fine. But because he's just another member of a community filled with poorly-educated-sheep trying to influence a community of people who have been lied to about how the government and white people owe them everything, it comes off as willful ignorance.

As a result, he literally comes across as someone who is trying to influence thugs to murder.

I think that it might be because when called to action a mob doesn't really think that well.

And, a ghetto mob ain't exactly starting from Harvard. If they were, LF wouldn't have to incite them to kill their oppressors in the first place, as they wouldn't be in a ghetto to begin with.

So forgive my lack of support for this attempt to get a group of minimally intelligent beings to do something that has to be interpreted.

"We were all humans until race disconnected us, religion seperated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us."

Bullshit!!! It was control over territory that divided us many thousands of years ago when hunters and gatherers fought tribal wars, which then intensified when farming and agriculture took over from 8000 to 3000 years ago depending upon the location. Conflict between groups has always been kinship based, and all this blather about "dividing us" is nonsense. Those preparing for violence would be well advised to unite as large a group as possible consistent with a plausible claim to genetic self similarity. But since human conflict over resources and territory is lasting and real, only hopeless losers will sacrifice themselves in the service of genetically alien groups that will use them for survival advantage. And this practice of using others for survival advantage occurs at both ends of the human IQ spectrum, by those skilled at deception and those incapable of deception. Those who feel guilt for the losers in this eternal struggle will perish.

The police are part of the "White Power Structure" that keeps the Black man down. Black cops are "Uncle Tom's" and sell-outs to their people. So yes, it's 100% racial. I can't help but laugh at how hard people twist things to try to make them non-racial.

Asian and white people don't need racial leaders.  They just do their thing, and it ends up being a reasonable thing in virtually all cases.

The problem with African Americans is that they are descended from the losers of tribal wars in Africa.  The winners sold the losers to slave traders.  And we're getting losers across the Mexican border too, from the Mexican and Central American societies.

If Farrakhan was a white, Christian colonialist 220 years ago railing out against his British overlords and their soldiers with the exact same words, he would have been called a true patriot in U.S. history and his words would have been remembered. Are his words really so easy to dismiss today because (in the eyes of many here) he's a scary, influential black muslim?

Nobody is asking you racist bitches to date the guy, but if you can't see past that to understand a sentiment so fundamental to the establishment of the U.S., then you are my enemy. Human rights are human rights - they are worth fighting for.

The problem is that he's trying to whip up a mob.  Mobs are not intelligent.  He alluded to police, but he also alluded to the church shooting, so the target of his ire is not just police.  He is very divisive, and if enough people listen to him, it is likely that it would turn from addressing legitimate grievances to attacking people based solely on the color of their skin.  You may think he's talking about human rights, but the end result will probably be a big nothing-burger.  If he does get people to act, however, it will not be a fight for rights.

Luke 19:27 is a challenging passage no doubt, but it speaks of the actions of God/Christ at the end, not the actions of men today.  Here is what Mathew Henry says:  Note, Whoever will not be ruled by the grace of Christ will inevitably be ruined by the wrath of Christ.

So since we live in the age of Grace, we can be assured that no such fate awaits us by the actions of God until the end is reached.  So we have time, but each day that passes where you do not submit to the righteousness of Christ you move one day closer to your fate.  Repent today and accept the Lord as your Savior .... or face the consequences.

It is a binary choice, but one you can easily make that has eternal consequences, either good or bad.

Luke 19:27 isn't a challenging passage at all.  It's a parable when Christ sends out his followers to be his disciples and do good works for the Kingdom of God.  Those who do well receive much those who do little receive little those who do nothing get nothing.  The rest who are not his followers (the ones who hate Christ aka Christianity aka the "lost") will see his wrath.  Pretty straightforward for those who've studied the Bible.

When you tell me that that quote should not be taken literally ask yourself what other parts of the bible aren't true. Can't have it both ways. It's literally true or it isn't.

It's literally true or it isn't.

Yes, it is true.  Christ brought a different perspective into the world, one that will create major conflict.

As Spurgeon says in his famous sermon: THE CHURCH OF CHRIST is continually represented under the figure of an army; yet its Captain is the Prince of Peace; its object is the establishment of peace, and its soldiers are men of a peaceful disposition. The spirit of war is at the extremely opposite point to the spirit of the gospel. Yet nevertheless, the church on earth has, and until the second advent must be, the church militant, the church armed, the church warring, the church conquering. And how is this? It is in the very order of things that so it must be. Truth could not be truth in this world if it were not a warring thing, and we should at once suspect that it were not true if error were friends with it. The spotless purity of truth must always be at war with the blackness of heresy and lies.

The world is "Satan's System" as described by Chafer.  So yes, it is literally true ... and sad that it must be this way.

The meaning of this statement is that there will be those who believe and will be put upon by their own families because of it. The non-believing family member, out of their unbelief, hate, jealousy or some other cause would go so far as to kill their own.  Not everyone receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, but if one asks with sincere heart, they will know.  That knowing brings responsibility.  That responsibility for most of us is one trial after another throughout life.  But in the end the result is having lived a better life for all the right reasons.  Being a believer is not for sissies.

When you accept adult santa is a myth, that there are no supernatural beings pulling the strings, that YOUR will and action transforms the world you view- you will realize a purpose more noble and enriching than converting non-believers.

It either comes down to belief and submittal to God or your beliefs are supreme. You pick em!

Billy this statement is well known to mean that Christ needs to be number one in your life and everything you do.  If anything else is put in front of him "an idol" then you aren't worthy of Him.  Sure we all stumble and fall as we are sinful creatures but what's great about Jesus is He wasn't only God but also a man and can understand our temptations and suffering.

Everyone likes to talk about the peaceful, loving, forgiving, pacifist Jesus The Lamb but they neglect to discuss Jesus The Lion.  He's got quite a few things to say about the cost of following Him and what will happen to those who are not forgiven by His blood shed on the Cross.

It amazes me that quite a lot of people have very poor reading comprehension skills.  You do realize that this verse (Luke 19:11-27) is from a parable right and is not a command? If you dont know what a parable is you might want to find out.  Taking things out of context does not make you look intelligent.

Farrakhan does the same too.  He is most likely using Pickthall's translation of the quran which translates 'fitna' as persecution.  'Fitna' (according to quran commentary Tasfir ibn Kathir) is trying to force muslims to disbelieve in islam - which is worse than killing.   So Farrakhan's verse only applies to muslims and not a persecuted group of people.

Yep, and then you have the disinfo squads, who will share 98% truth with you, and try to sell you 2% lies.   You know too much to be lied to, or distracted completely, so they give you some bait, essentially.

A good example with 9/11 is how they try to get you caught up in HOW the towers were brought down, instead of by WHOM, and WHY.  Was it explosives pre-rigged?  Or was it advanced tech?  Doesn't actually matter very much either way, and no way for us to know for sure, seeing as how quickly all that steel was scrapped and sent to Korea!

Or with the Moon landing hoax, they will say, "No, we didn't go to the Moon with rockets.  But we DID go with flying saucers!  And BTW the Earth is actually flat.  Its a plane-t, dude!"

People better wise up to this, its pretty widespread belief we will get another 'event' in September!

All the mini nuke, space beam, hologram theories emerged around 2006, after Dr. Jones and Neils Harrit discovered unreacted thermite and iron-rich microspheres in the WTC dust.

Cass Sunstein telegraphed this punch the same way PNAC did a year before 9/11... Just too bad most people aren't smart enough to pay attention.

Back in the late 60s they told people there would be a Moon base by 2015!  What happened to that!  They said there would be space stations with crews of 50 people!  So were they wrong?  Were they lying?  Were there some false assumptions there somewhere?

Understand this, I have been told both: "The Moon landing was mankind's greatest achievement" AND "There's nothing there, its not worth going back".  Those statements are impossible to reconcile!

They don't deny it exists, they just don't tell anyone when, how and what they are doing and with what aircraft. They've been back to the moon and beyond.. they just have absolutely no incentive or reason to inform the public. with respect to 'scientists' and their pursuit of 'truth', you should understand that 'science' does not pay -- unless it is under the auspices of a grant, university, .gov or endowment -- and scientists, being big-brained and all that shit, know that 'truth' has consequences...as in immediate termination.  it is easy to discover the point at which scientific integrity meets expediency -- it is precisely where speaking truth invites consequences.  scientists prize their status above honest inquiry; furthermore, they aren't cut out for real work...insofar as scientists are allergic to callouses.

These are all facts and true, the problem is if these American blacks were living in another country ( i.e europe) they would be equally rated with whites as per their population ratio.

The Problem in US is, its black population lack the basic child education, ethics and morals comes from the family and their parents are poor and they are mostly in jail, how one can expect these black children to become responsible adults and not commit crime. Its a trap. its easy to blame the blacks but it doesnt solve the problem, more incarceration feeds more crime. The federal goverment should solve this problem, media knows it but prefer to stay silent.

You must mean Ronnie 'Ray Gun' Reagan, the two-bit cowboy actor.

Sterility for all, and for all a good time.

The good news is interbreeding as raised the black IQ, in Sub-Saharan Africa it is in the 60's....borderline mental retardation.

Today, after hundreds of years in America the average black IQ has risen to 85, compared to whites at 103 or so making the population average 100. This is not education related, this is genetic. It's fucking sad. It's going to take another 100+ years and a lot of white wives before the average black is on par with the average white. But I think IQ explains the dependancy and higher crime we see.
