Tesla Tumbles Over Ten Percent, Tests Key Technical Level
Is faith in Musk fading? All the promises... all the hype hope? It appears so as TSLA tumbles over 10% - its biggest drop in 20 months - breaking below its 100-day moving average.
on very heavy volume...
As we noted previously, perhaps this is why... free cash flow. It speaks for itself.

This was a big miss for Musk, no way to sugar coat it.
Their new electric 4x4 will save them...
Buy The Fucking Narrative You Fucking Idiots.
Well, not quite.
But if you replace the stock motors with Traxxas Titan motors and rig up an 18V battery pack to replace the stock 12V battery, yeah, basically that. Ask me how I know.
Now there's a stock on fire! No wait...
Ok, I'll bite, "How do you know?"

The gas only units are extremely nice too.
It's the DeLorean of our era.
Back then we just blamed it on excessive cocaine use. Not sure what the excuse is going to be this time.
So you are saying we are going back to the future...
88 Miles Per Hour and then you're gonna see some serious shit.
Delorean ran out of government subsidies. How long will Tesla's subsidies last?
Electric vehicles also get a $500 to $2000 a year government subsidy becasue they don't pay taxes on gasoline/diesel. That's ANOTHER subsidy they get. But for how long? Governemnts are BROKE, and how long will they ignore that tax loss?
Delorean built about 9,000 DMC-12s
Tesla has sold about 50,000
I'd say Tesla has gone a lot further then anyone ever expected.
Building a car is hard, they've done amazingly well.
The electric cars are just flying out the doors with these high gas prices.
Yup......I'm the rage at my Country Club with my new Tesla S......its a great lookin' golf cart and I can hold two bags strapped to the back bumper.......
Tesla?... golf cart?... Obama?... all the pieces are coming together...
I would just like to know how 800 lbs of high tech batteries sitting in the belly of a car are EVER going to compete with a $15 stamped steel gas tank filled with a cheap, energy-rich combustible liquid.
Oh yeah.... government.
Whatever you do, don't be skepitcal about the government or there'll be a knock on the door...... too late. See ya in FEMA camp 16. I'll be the guy eating an invisible sandwich.
These Teslas are touted as environmentally friendly. But imagine if all cars had these massive banks of batteries in them. The manufacturing process is extremely dirty and then there is the problem of disposal. Also, they have relatively short lives.
Boatloads of coal powered electricity power those $80,000 'green' machines.

This is how it competes.
I can't believe that actual financial performance could affect this company's stawk price. Next thing you're going to tell me is that all my DotCom 2.0 stocks are in danger. And I'm not going to believe you.

Perhaps Tesla is dropping because everyone who can afford a self-lighting barbecue has now bought one.
Musk can always launch them into space on his latest tax-payer funded vehicle.
His trips appear to be one way only.
See - here's the problem with all Tesla naysayers. You just don't understand Elon Musk - he's a very very very very intelligent and very very very very very complicated man. You only need to set aside any self doubt and just BELIEVE in him. It's all good - really.
Everything he's done since paypal has involve huge amounts of taxpayer money.
What happens when the taxpayer subsidies run out?
Earth will stop permanently. Trust me there is only THAT option.
Oh boy.
But once they start building the HyperLoop....... what?....... that was only something Musk scribbled on a piece of scrap paper?
Nevermind.
Crazy Elon - lose a little on each car, but make it up in volume!
And don't forget the government subsidies.
Tesla continues to make quality and price improvements in their products. The sales problem is solely because of the low price of gasoline. This low price won't last because of peak oil.
Can Tesla survive 10 to 20 years of low oil prices and increasing electricity prices?
What happens when all the HUGE government subsidies on EVs run out?
People don't consider that for every gasoline/diesel car on the road, the government collects $500 to $2000 in fuel taxes. How long is the government going to both subsidize electric cars AND lose more of their tax base as more EVs are on the road?
Electricity prices aren't increasing.
Last few years it's flatlined
Tesla's done in 3-5 years!
They've finally found out that Youxia will cost 32 kUSD compared to Tesla Model S 71 kUSD

Ahh Chinese cars. Good. Mmmm.
Tesla has the envious problem of not being able to build them fast enough. Plus when you are evolving ideas faster than the current production line it takes time to keep up. I wouldn't worry about Musk and Tesla and SpaceX. He's going to do well in spite of the constant bitching.
Famous last words "We're losing money on every car BUT we're making it up in volume!!!"
The people that have bought one have made their enviromental statement to their friends....they will not be buying another one....Elon will hit his sales limit soon....then in 40 years they will be auction material as a little piece of history...
These cars are powered at least 40% by coal. Isn't Obama trying to torpedo that?
The mainstream financial media have started removing articles about Teslas latest loss and have replaced them with articles stating that Tesla beat expectattions.
Yeah its a huge crock, ain't it?
Tesla= Full size plastic toy with batteries and plug~ins for your i-shit.
And that's why AvtoVAZ still don't doing too much electronics at "Lada"-cars. Well, fair enough I guess.
Tesla bitch will move back to Africa when Barry gets the boot
The Tesla bubble is bursting.
If that industry was a level field we would be driving cars so different than the crappy ones we have now.
The million mile car? Yep its been done. Back in the 60s
The 100 mpg car? Yep been done. Back in the 90s.
Its possible to do both 100mpg and million mile cars in one tight little package right now. It wont be happening in bizzaro world. But make no mistake it could be built with todays technologies.
No one on here is talking about tesla energy, gigafactory, power wall might be game changing.
No one on here is talking about tesla energy, gigafactory, power wall might be game changing.
Because it wont be a game changer. Sorry not even close.
Guess all the "short investors" are getting all charged up about this chart....
Gee WIZ stock drops for a company that is LOSING tons of money (no matter how much we like to hear Elon Musks' voice). Shazaam!
