Everything is wonderful, now it's time for my meds......
They have decided to have a recession...they're hoping by forcing energy prices to the floor it won't be so bad...GOOD LUCK
The HOPE index is plummeting, but the CHANGE index is on the rise ...(just not the good change)
Why did THEY omit the Index Symbol? I'm not good at guessing.
Sometimes the Tylers do comparisons that don't work. Like comparing Govt-Bond Yield to SPX. I'm glad they stopped doing that.
But, I would like to look at my charts for that up-gap every day pattern.
Thanx
Oh well, who need energy (consumable calories) anyway....
morons.
As long as I can go for my weekend ride, I'm happy......
One thing ol' dad taught me.
"Son, never, ever spend your own money on ENERGY".
LOL - ALL HAIL CHUMBA!
That has to be one of the funnier TD chart captions I've read in a long time....
Deja Screw You Too II
It IS after all the Wall Street CON Market! It's designed to fleece the middle class to make the Richie Rich richer! Only fools and the Chinese gamble in the CON Markets.
The perpetual hope premia that exists in share prices.
Looks like alot of high paying energy job workers will need to sign up for one of the fastest growing jobs in America...bartenders....
Economists are like government bureaucrats, with much gravitas they pronounce what they can do, and how it will be better for the people....
only to have unpredicted side effects causing unintended damage, unexpected results, and calls by the experts for moar, while they shore up their own ivory tower retirement plans.
Crashing oil, credit yields in trouble, don't worry they know what to do!!

It seems that our rulers want us shivering in the dark in the winter and not able to travel to escape their taxation. Good for the environment you know.
Crude putting in a bottom here.
Gotta pump and dump it as much as possible...take every sucker for all they're worth.
WTI bottoming, or at least not getting crushed, that is why energy equities are flying high.
I think you meant Simple Jack.
how come my gasoline is still 60 cents higher than the last time brent and WTI were below $50/45, wtf?
CDSs, my boy, CDSs!
Why did you omit the Index Symbol?
I'm not good at guessing.
Its tough holding something as it goes to zero. My friends pulled a good one recently, whole lot of em. A few of the monkeys took delivery on this gem and held on to zero. And they have a bit more than a newsletter or website of people following them so there are probably many many retail that followed them.
WLT
Sure it was hot at 120 and saw 140 briefly. Yea they waited till 30 or whatever to get in and did it with derivatives just selling puts mostly at first. Yea they sold calls once they were in trouble, some got out but now a few are long thousands and thousands of shares and the thing last printed 0.1644 before it was delisted the other week.
What do you do?
What. do. you. do.
Nothing you can do except choke on it while they think about how much they like it now at zero and hope they sold enough against it that cost basis wasnt too high when it was delisted.
DOUBLE DOWN!!!!
LET IT RIDE!!!!
But cancel the order for the Hatteras GT60.
physical oil and products therof cannot "go to zero" in value.
paper oil, as well as other paper bullshit, most certainly can.
Catch the falling barrel.
