You Live In A Country Run By Idiots If...

We truly live in a country run by idiots. The contradictions between common sense and government actions are just too many to have happened by accident or chance. But perhaps the leaders are not the idiots. Maybe the people tolerating such leaders and laws are the true idiots.
What follows is a contrast between common folk wisdom and what Washington considers wisdom. These contradictions are inconvenient for government, threatening to reveal their incompetence or hidden agenda. The author of this piece is unknown although it sounds like something that could have come from Jeff Foxworthy who popularized this presentation style.
Oh, and regarding the image above - we are the idiots for accepting this nonsense.
If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally, you live in a country run by idiots.
If you have to get your parent’s permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion, you live in a country run by idiots.
If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor or check out a library book, but not to vote who runs the government, you live in a country run by idiots.
If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy leaders in Egypt , you live in a country run by idiots.
If, in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat, you live in a country run by idiots.
If an 80-year-old woman can be strip-searched by the TSA but a woman in a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched, you live in a country run by idiots.
If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more, you live in a country run by idiots.
If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is cute, but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable, you live in a country run by idiots.
If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, Subsidized Housing and Free Cell Phones, you live in a country run by idiots.
If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to incentivize NOT working with 99 weeks of unemployment checks and no requirement to prove they applied but cannot find work, you live in a country run by idiots.
If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you more safe according to the government, you live in a country run by idiots.
If you are offended by this article, I’ll bet you voted for the idiots who are running our great country into the ground.

If you live in a country where a former Goldman Sachs CEO is the Treasury Secretary during a financial crisis caused by bankers, he says a $750B bank bailout "seems about right," the government gives him the money and the people don't revolt, you know you are in a country run by fucking bankers and populated by fucking idiots.

You live in a country run by idiots if...
They look for ways to save money on a new fighter jet program and decide that the main gun will have to be removed from the aircraft in order to save money. It subsequently turns out that all of the aerodynamic and flight computer stablility programming has already been conducted and included the main gun. Redoing all of this work would cost far more than the savings of removing the main gun.
Solution: It is decided to attach an item to the aircraft in the location of the main gun, that has the same size, wieght and external geometry as the main gun. the cheapest option at this point is to reinsert the main gun. However it is now too late in the program for the main gun to be functional.
So your shiny new multibillion dollar fighter jet has a huge main gun that is utterly redundant and the overall net cost saving is that it actually cost quite a bit more than the original plan of having a fully functional main gun.
Run by idiots? It's a worry that these people can breed.

Amen. This is why I marvel at the number of people who watched and were entertained by the great Republican "debate" the other night. Actually, there was no debate at all. It was simply a personality contest with smears thrown in for good measure. No substance... and the plebs watching loved it all. Disaster looms... and we - as a people - deserve whatever comes.
WTF is everyone's problem with people enjoying the debate? All the stoneheads were stung to life by Trump the hornet to show a bit of humanity, that's what happened.

The government is providing welfare to keep those "not in the labor force" alive. You can pay for them to sit on their asses or you can pay them to fix shit.
Same thing with single mothers on welfare can't work because they can't afford childcare. Again, take half of the single mothers on welfare and force them to earn their welfare by taking care of the children of the other half of single mothers so they can go to work.
Think of it this way, instead of a country of 350 million, we are a Native American village of 350 people. Do you think we would have 133 villagers sitting around "consuming" and 217 doing all of the work?

Taking into consideration the extent gone to in order to reach their goals, it would seem likely that the politcians in America who are Chained To The Clause of their master's wishes are being bribed, drugged, framed, threatened with bodily harm along with their families in the must criminally-insane fashion one could conjure up. I live in the South, love college football, enjoy fresh vegetables from the Farmer's Market, think pickup trucks are great. I follow politiics and finance, have two grown successful children, have all my teeth, have been married for a long time to one person who is not my cousin, have never accepted a nickel of government assistance. I ran my own business 'til government f'ed up the housing market and brought in illegals to do construction. I owe nothing, my house is paid for and I have no other debt. I love my Southern heritage and the fact that the Confederate Flag stands for people who just wanted to be free to live without a government stealing everything from them. I agree. What I've found is kids feel they are entitled, to everything - job, money, the good life as they perceive it. I'm amazed at this phenomenon which is documented by a couple studies which I wouldn't necessarily believe except that I experience it myself - talking with them, interacting at stores, television, news, etc. It is really unfortunate and damn disgusting, they seem to think they are owed these things and seriously hold us (their parents generation) responsible when it doesn't work out - and it doesn't most of the time! (as we adults all know). I try to remain positive and rationalize it away so I don't feel like I'm a bitter old man! I know I'm not but dealing with this is increasingly difficult as I continue to lose patience.
They also seem to be naive in terms of their expectations which doesn't make any sense since they were/are exposed to a lot more a lot sooner than their parents were! Selective stupidity or selective naivete depending on the level of pessimism at the time -:) Given the educational metrics and stats globally, selective stupidity might be the most appropriate term...and that's a bad thing! Where di we go wrong? Couldn't have been television and video games acting as a babysitter, ya think?

Start with participant trophy's, add in social placement in school (regardless of grades), extreme propaganda, sexualization of children right down to five years old...that's just a start. Add in absolute lack of discipline, wandering/screaming kids as a norm, and profanity from six year olds.
My wife and I now realize we were extremely strict parents, but we, or anyone, could take them to a restaurant anytime, without meltdowns. We have kids that remain polite and successful in todays world (hell, just having a job in today's world is a major accomplishment.)

You might be an idiot if you can't see through the bullshit. A person who is faced with a situation where he or she is punished for not complying with immoral behavior will suffer mental fractures. This isn't accidental, it is by design.
You might be an idiot if you get investment advice from a website that has to explain things with a "This chart shows why the economy is crashing" or a "Top 10 List of Reasons why" the economy is crashing.
Maybe the problem would be easier to understand if we ask ourselves when we started thinking the country should be run by anyone.

As many times as we are told to blame ourselves for what the criminals are doing, it still jumps out at me that the people who say these things never tell us their idea for how we are supposed to stop "tolerating" these leaders.
The idiocracy had a driving mechanism: the ability to back up lies with violence. Mental slavery follows after physical slavery, as generation after generation is born, lives, and dies, INSIDE social systems based on ENFORCED FRAUDS. It is an abuse of Hanlon's Razor to presume that there is incompetent stupidity as the cause, when the idiocracy was another effect of generations adapting to living inside of systems of slavery based upon the ability to back up lies with violence.

We are stuck inside of the double-bind, Catch 22 predicaments that the idiocracy has already been made and maintained by thousands of years of pyramid system civilizations based on the ability to back up lies with violence. In my view, the only theoretically valid solutions would have to be based upon better organized crime. However, that would require enough people understanding and agreeing with that, which does not appear politically possible.
Governments are the biggest form of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals. The idiocracy requires that the vast majority of citizens do not understand that, because they do not want to understand that. The question of "should" is misleading, because what actually happens is that the best organized gangs of criminals control the biggest form of organized crime, which is the government of the country.
Governments must and do exist because organized crime must and does exist. The best organized gangs of criminals control those governments. However, the vast majority of citizens have been profoundly brainwashed to believe in bullshit about that for generation after generation. Therefore, those citizens do not understand, because they have been conditioned to not want to understand, that governments are basically military organizations, while military organizations in turn were organized crime on larger and larger scales. Whomever is the biggest and best organized gangs of criminals gets to call themselves the government and control that government.
Deeper analysis of the human predicament will demonstrate how and why that is necessarily the case. Everyone has the power to rob, and to kill to back up that power to rob. Governments assembled and channeled those powers, while those who were best at doing that were the ones who most controlled those governments. In theory, a democratic republic operating through the rule of law was supposed to provide ways for the power of "We the People" to be assembled and channeled. However, the total dominance of the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories resulted in situations where there ended up being almost nothing but layers of controlled opposition surrounding the core of organized crime.
The idiocracy has become vicious spirals, whereby most of those who somewhat recognize the social facts still continue to be reactionary revolutionaries, whose bogus "solutions" are based upon the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and related impossible ideals, which always backfire badly, and continue to cause the opposite to happen in the real world. There is nothing else which actually exists than the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. It is a false fundamental dichotomy to propose that the issues are governments versus organized crime. Rather, governments are necessarily the biggest forms of organized crime.
The idiocracy follows from most of the "citizens" becoming incompetent political idiots, or "Zombie Sheeple." However, that was driven to deliberately become the social situation due to generation after generation of the best organized gangs of criminals, that were controlling the governments, making and maintaining that to become the standing pattern of social facts. "You live in a country run by idiots if" the majority of the people do not understand the principles and methods of organized crime, and do not want to understand, because, therefore, they do not understand government, and do not want to understand.
You live in a country run by idiots BECAUSE the best organized gangs of criminals wanted that to become the social situation, and so, they controlled the ways that governments operated, for generation after generation, in order to make and maintain that to be the case, throughout all of the related sociopolitical institutions. The democratic republic operating through the rule of law has been almost totally destroyed and replaced by an idiocracy due to the almost totally triumphant dominance of the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories regarding the impossible ideals about "freedom and democracy," which have backfired as badly as possible, and caused the actual situation to become as opposite to those ideals as possible.
There are chronic political problems inherent in the nature of life, which must be resolved somehow. Primarily, those get resolved through the death control systems, with the human murder systems being the most extreme manifestations of that. There are and necessarily must be some death control systems. The history of warfare has selected for the most socially successful human murder systems to be done through the maximum possible deceits and treacheries. Upon that basis was built political economy based upon the maximum possible ENFORCED FRAUDS, whose main manifestation was the effective privatization of the public "money" supply. Since money is measurement backed by murder, the effective privatization of the public "money" supply amounts to the public powers of governments to rob, and to kill to back up that robbery, primarily serving the special interests of those who benefit the most from the effectively privatized "money" supply. Of course, that has been getting worse, faster, for many generations. There is nobody alive today was was not born into a society that was being controlled by ENFORCED FRAUDS throughout their life.
Again, those sets of social facts are the underlying real reasons for how and why we are living inside of an idiocracy, in which the overwhelming vast majority of "We the People" actually act like "Zombie Sheeple. Of course, it does not help that surrounding the core of organized crime there are mostly layers of controlled opposition, who may be called the "Black Sheeple." Those reactionary revolutionaries tend to promote the bogus "solutions" that everyone should become better "Sheeple." In that way, the idiocracy also includes pretty well all of the controlled opposition to the runaway systems of triumphant organized crime, because that kind of opposition never promotes better organized crime as the only theoretically valid resolutions to the real problems.
My recommendations are that enough people should go through enough intellectual scientific revolutions, in order that they profoundly change the paradigms that they use to perceive political problems. Of course, given the degree to which we already are living inside of an idiocracy, where the most successful politicians are the banksters' puppets, who are voted for by enough of the masses of muppets, that appears to be quite politically impossible. Inside of entrenched systems based upon ENFORCED FRAUDS, everyone becomes proportionately successful to the degree that they are able to operate as professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. The current situation continues to be that the actual death controls are done through the maximum possible deceits, while financial success is based upon the maximum possible frauds. However, the deeper reasons for how and why that is the case are not understood, and do not want to be understood by the vast majority of "citizens" within an idiocracy.
Basically, it all boils down to the death control systems, because the debt controls are backed by the death controls, within the combined money/murder systems. Therefore, the only genuinely valid resolutions to the real problems must necessarily be better death control systems, which means better organized crime. However, the established systems are based upon thousands of years of the actual death controls being done through the maximum possible deceits and treacheries, which then enabled the political economy inside of that human ecology to become based upon ENFORCED FRAUDS.
In order for a democratic republic to operate through the rule of law, the primary thing that would have to do is operate the public murder system to back up the public money system. At the present time, the actual death controls continue being mostly done through the maximum possible deceits, while the controlled opposition groups to that core of organized crime do not provide better death controls, but rather promote the impossible ideals that there should not be any death control systems, or, at least, none that human beings are conscious of operating. Therefore, extremely unrealistic attitudes prevail towards the concept of "government," while impossible ideals about what governments should be tend to be the only ideas which have significant public promotion, since both the core of the best organized crime gangs, as well as the controlled opposition groups that surround them, promote in public the same bullshit social stories about a "free and democratic government."
However, on the contrary, governments MUST exist as forms of organized crime. Hence, the goals of freedom and democracy can only exist as dynamic equilibria between the different organized crime gangs. The idiocracy may be a label for what exists after 99% of "We the People" are behaving like incompetent political idiots, inside of debt slavery systems based upon ENFORCED FRAUDS. There are two entirely different kinds of elections, and kinds of "contestants". An election of the president of a science fiction novel forum is not at all the same thing as an election of a United States President. The former is really a contest between two (or more) individual candidates (and their agendas), but the latter is actually a contest between the weak and the mighty — the well-supported candidates of a very few elites versus the grass-roots candidates of the vast multitude of non-elite people.
Simple score voting can be completely described in one short simple sentence: Give no vote at all, or from one to ten votes to any number of candidates you wish (up to some reasonable limit, say 20 candidates), and then simply add all the votes up.
It can be completely machine-free! If machines make tallying X times easier, they make coordinated rigging X times easier. Which can we truly afford???
One could say that simple score eliminates 90% of the spoiler effect. To illustrate: if a voter gives 10 votes to Nader and 9 votes to Gore, it is simply obvious that, if Nader does not win, the voter has only sacrificed exactly 10% of their voting power. Not 100% as they would have had they been forced to use the usual single-selection ("faux plurality") voting method.

I totally agree. There are so many young girls with what I guess are called "tramp stamps" on their midriff near their already fat asses. What the fuck is with that? It's not helping their image and it doesn't wash off. Mrs. M wore a nice long dress(barely showing ankle) and was the only woman who looked respectable. She has a great body even after two kids and could do the slut thing but that is not her style. She got a lot of looks for that move but she doesn't give a fuck and she did it on purpose.
Then you have the the young males acting like fools all covered in tatoos. This is what they spend their money on? One of them decided to hit on Mrs. M while I was trying to get a beer. Getting a beer is much harder than it should be at a fair because you need a ticket. I ain't playing that fucking ticket game so I told the guy to fuck off and flashed a grand in cash all while wearing my ZH hat and walked away. Fuck off then I guess if you don't want to make any money. Meanwhile, Mrs. M was dealing with an idiot and I didn't see any of it but she told me all about it. First of all, Mrs. M is Russian and the guy that was hitting on her was not so sure what he had gotten himself into. Mrs. M can take care of herself quite well. Later she said that he was five chromosomes short. I'm guessing that is what she told the guy because that is something she would say to a guy on her six. LMAO!
I can only stand so much of the white trash county fair so we had to go home. People who saved money all year long for tattoos and overpriced beer tickets were getting drunk and it was time to go. We used the free VFW shuttle bus to get the fuck out of that mess.(I donated a few bucks because nothing is for free) That is when I ran in to the Harley's parked near the bus pickup. I love Harleys so I am like a moth to light. Mrs. M says that I like any shiny metal and she is correct. So there I am checking out a Dynaglide bagger and here comes the owner of the bike all dressed in full Harley marketing. He has the cut (no patch), he has the tatoos and the fucking beard. About my age, early 40's. He had a nice looking woman with as well but he totally was disrespecting her. I don't get involved in that shit though.
I complimented the man on the bike even though I would not have bought it. It was probably about a $8000 bike at best full retail. Who the fuck goes two into one exhaust on a Harley? He tells me "Maybe one day you can afford one". WHAT? I told him have two Sportsters and he said "I had those when I was in high school". WHAT? My Sportsters are not stock and the one I ride is fuel injected and it is fast and loud. I didn't explain that fact and I just walked away even though I really wanted to grab that dipshit's beard and punch the guy in the face repeatedly. What a fucking dick. I should have asked how many more payment he has left on the bike because mine are paid for but it wasn't worth it. Now that I know the bike and the idiot that rides it I will show him what is up when I see him just by outriding him. I want to bet him some money on a 20 mile backcountry loop but with good road. As for drugs, I still like some of them. I did acid a long time ago but don't need to anymore. I still will smoke some dope on occassion like probably in 15 minutes.:-) It is a pretty fucked up world we live in. I guess that is why we commiserate here on the Hedge. I ran for senior class president as a joke. I lost by one vote to a nigger. He was subsequently totally ineffectual but gave the class their "feel good" PC that they voted in a worthless nigger. I had him by literally 45+ IQ points and would have made a meaningful difference, but feelings rather than action is the only thing that counts in this facade of a society.
