Startups Getting Trashed

Well, the San Francisco Bay Area startup-for-everything economy has now reached a new low:

Interested, eh? Well, there are plenty of details. I personally take comfort from the pledge that the people paid to drag my trash can will be rated by the community ("'A+++++++ Would let drag my recycling to the curb again.")

Of course, none of this is free, ya know.

Happily, Silicon Valley hasn't lost its sense of humor. Not to be outdone, this parody site has appeared:

Now, if we could have a startup that not only feeds me but cooks the food for me, I would be interested in that.

SF tech "culture" is literally insane.
Besides aiding the globalist agenda - they are just a bunch of delusional useless idiots.

Yeah, let's trash Silicon Valley, which makes things the whole world wants, and has 0% unemployment.  Jealous luddite losers.

There is "zero percent unemployment" here; sure there are a lot of jobs.  Unfortunately most of them do not pay enough to cover rent, which is typically $3,500/mo. for a one bedroom apartment.  Go on Craigslist, I invite you to, and look at what most jobs here pay:  about $15/hour.  That's why you see a lot of people, including employed people, living in their cars in the Palo Alto area.  It's a pretty brutal locale.  Sure there are well-paid young tech guys; they get dumped by the system as 'too old" when they hit 30.  Most of these start-ups are economically a scam, even if they are not consciously intended to be one; they drag on for years using investors' money, without ever making a profit.  What the "world wants" may be more tech crap, but what it needs is something else.
