Martin Armstrong Asks "Did FOX Try To Politically Assassinate Trump To Maintain The Status Quo?"

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Martin Armstrong via ArmstrongEconomics.com,

The bias of FOX News is really starting to show how they are attempting to influence the elections by destroying Donald Trump claiming he is against women.

I think the attack is really exaggerated for he may say some wild things but is he really against women? I would say the evidence does not support that.

Nonetheless, FOX News is showing this is going to be a really nasty campaign when they are taking on the lead in the political debates to try to deliberately stack the cards against Trump so we end up with Bush. This illustrates that they are not listening to the people or why the vast majority are in favor of Trump.

A friend who is a die-hard Democrat said to me after the debate, “You know, I may just vote for Trump. Nobody owns this guy!” To say I was stunned is saying it mildly.

This 2016 election is going to be really interesting for it appears this may develop as a war against the establishment and just another wasted 8 years by electing any professional politician since nothing will change.

The questioning NEVER dealt with any substance. Forget about the social issues, how about one single question about the future direction of the economy? Not a single political candidate who is of that professional class would deliver any possible change. Obama has proven that Democrat or Republican, it really does not matter. Obama has been Bush Part II. Nothing ever changes.

I did listen to Trump being interviewed on the telephone on Bloomberg News. I must say, he expressed opinions on who was the better Fed Chairman that others would be hard to remember any names from the past. When the economy turns down, we may see support for Trump rise rather than fall. At the very least, Trump is expanding the voting base attracting more of the anti-politician movement. If anything, he might shake Washington up. It is hard to imagine any change will be to the better from the professional politician,

This entire menstrual blood seems to be some kind of developing meme.  Last weekend I some blurb about a female runner racing without a tampon to raise "menstrual awareness".  I think the Trump "slur" about blood from her eyes was orchestrated to fit this meme.   The chosenites are trying to turn menstrual periods into the feminists halocaust.

I'm sorry to break it to ZHers, but the truth is Donald Trump is simply not a credible candidate. He has absolutely no experience in politics whatsoever, and while he may be an expert in business, I would rather have a president with experience of running a country than business experience. Trump is an entertaining addition to the GOP leadership race, but everyone knows he has absolutely no chance of winning against Hilary, who is very strong on all aspects of her leadership. My suggestion to the republicans would be to elect Jeb Bush, who may not be as glamorous or punchy as Trump, but at least he has relevant experience and has a real chance of winning the election.

What I find so hilarious about these polemics: The right-wing media's unhealthy obsession with portraying upper-middle class white females as "damsels" and "victims", and particularly when they are blond women (sociologists refer to this phenomenon as "Missing White Woman Syndrome"), is now causing conservatives to turn even on each other, with the American right tearing itself apart from the inside.

How are those conservative philosophies of tribalism, exclusion and exceptionalism working out?

Meantime sweet old socialst  Bernie Sanders savaged by Black Lives Matter left in Seattle. Always liked Bernie cause you know where he stands..his heart is in the right place. Eric ..the control freak left has the burden of high horse syndrome..moral superiority without a lick of proof their govt programs or policies have made a better world....war on poverty has not made minoritis better off  nor has the leftist cultural revolt of the 60s..which ruined the entire civil right movement so the left could get more power by creating one more jdentity group to coopt them with idiocy that govt programs would lift them up

..instead all it did was lift up a bunch of greedy mostly white leftists like the clintons, Kerry, etc. The right you slam has its faults..but on the absolutly barking mad scale  ..the left has set the standard.

Try and enjoy the show - pretty much all us outsiders can do for now...

The "conservatve" movement has been co-opted. What you see now is anywhere from insanity to evil.

I have always said that black Americans are natural true conservatives. Once black America comes online we will all have a chance at really taking our country back. Until then there will be a lot of whining. We need black America to realize the dems offer the path to perdition and to help us reform the republicon neocon fascist socialist party into a true party of liberty and freedom.

There's a lot of truth in what you say about middle class blacks tending to be conservatives. The main problem is that they are almost overwhelmingly government employees. Of course, probably the majority of the white middle class is also made up of government employees, though a larger percentage of whites perhaps often somewhat more indirectly.

The biggest difficulty in reforming anything in the US is the staggering number of people who, one way or another, make their living off of government, or whose living is heavily dependent on government restrictions of one kind or another.

One example: Building codes my housing unnecessarily unaffordable, and this benefits the construction industry, the real estate developers, and the banks. So there are some difficulties in reforming this type of thing.

It probably sounds far fetched, but that is just because the MSM/politicians/banksters do not want it. The MSM uses every form of manipulation available to indoctrinate adversarial roles in a racial way. The news has white cops shooting black kids, black kids burning down stores and knocking white people out. I will take my chances because I belive the MSM is easily exposed as hollow.

Suggestion to Megyn:  Next time, you want to jump him with a Rorschach test, ask The Donald who Ludwig von Mises was.

Query for Megyn:  Do you know who Ludwig von Mises was?

Another suggestion for Megyn: Ask Carly Fiorina (assuming she makes the "A Team") how she feels about John Maynard Keynes buggering little boys.

Where were you Megan when the entire country was assassnating Honey Booboo's (or however you spell it) family?  Standing on the street corner with your "stop the war on women" banner?  You know it, you were watching it calling that family a bunch of fat slobs just like everyone else in your Sorority.

Hate to break it to Megan.  There's a lot of smart women...perhaps not a lot of smart/pretty women...therefore, you have a job on Fox since you're willing to bleach your hair blonde....so, you're part of system Meg....and if you lose a few pounds, Donald may let you participate in the next Miss America for Smart Women competition.

We've been conditioned to believe that only experienced (i.e., career) politicians are capable of governing.  How ridiculous is that?  The founding fathers were not politicians; they were farmers and businessmen.  For most of the early years of this country, men who governed came from many walks of life other than politics, and they went back to those ways when they left office.  Not until the era of career politicians did we experience the poor leadership that comes from politicians whose only concerns are getting and keeping power and money.  It's time we elected someone, anyone, who is NOT a career politician.  Doing so weill not guarantee things will get better, but we certainly can't get much worse.

Elections are a very expensive psy-op to keep the illusion up that the USSA is a Democracy / Republic when in fact it has been a corporation since the late 1800s. We don't have a system of laws. We have HR rules. Step out of line, you will be terminated.

No matter whom you're for or against, the hosts can ask tough questions but not be rude about it. In any case, itbackfired on her and simply boosted his ratings even higher while dissing Fox news.

Wrong, that IS part of the point sometimes. It is telling the tyrants that they cannot tell you what to think or say, and adding insult to it drives the point home.

Some of you guys are so far off on Ronald Reagan I don't even know where to start. His cabinet was littered with neocon and NWO crooks like George Bush Sr., James Baker, Edwin Meese, Caspar Weinberger, James Watt, etc....not to mention the massive deficits and debt that was created under his leadership. The scandals and criminal probes under the Reagan Administration are far and wide if you care to look them up.

Get a grip.

"Some of you guys are so far off on Ronald Reagan I don't even know where to start."

Need I remind the people here that Reagan's term was so savage towards the average American that even George H.W. Bush felt the need to distance himself from it, calling for a "kinder, gentler America" during his 1988 campaign. When your administration is so harsh towards the people that a twisted oligarch like GHW Bush is compelled to say "whoa, maybe that's a little too hard on the slaves" then you know you've gone too far. What a bunch of loathsome, detestible pigs.

Reagan was the last needed piece for the oligarchy to take on the power it now has.

Not saying Congress was blameless by any means. They were needed accomplices in the process for certain.

Simply put the modern boom bust cycles on a timeline and observe the frequencies.

Yes, and to equate Goldwater and Raygun shows true ignorance.  Goldwater was a real conservative, and he warned against hitching the party to the religeous right nut jobs.  Raygun married up with them.  They were easy to manipulate, and it worked for them all the way through Bush 2.  Now they are in a box - can't win with them & can't win without them.  It took 3 decades, but they are finally waking up to realize that their social agendas are going nowhere - in fact, they are being outright rejected by more youthful voters.

"“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.”

This particular orgy of insecurity was a little more than bread and circus. IT was clear from the word go that the Fox force 3 was to serve as the hit squad for the republican party to assassinate trump's chances of being successful. Just like Chris Crispie Creme was there to shout down Rand Paul.

Don't get me wrong, I can't make up my mind whether or not he's actually serious, a ringer to bow out later to clear the way for Jeb, or a disruptor send in by Hitlery. Given how hysterical historical GOP support structures like Fox are, one might think he's the real deal.

Either way, I'm seeing alot of venom directed at fox on forums and in comments sections. That's good. It appears that more than a few people got a wake up call that fox is just a different flavor of bullshit.

Hitlery gets more extreme every day at both ends of the spectrum which only does more to destroy the center imo. I'll have to see how some of the other Re-Pubics come across before my final decision, but so far Trump is da Man who most likely will represent center interests the best.

I guess the latter.  He's clearing the way for Cankles - not Jeb- by being a troublemaker within the GOP.  Trump 2016 will go independent once he's captured all of the votes of those who normally vote Republican but are fed up at this point.  They'll show up for Trump as a minority vote, but it will be enough to shut down the Republican nominee, leaving the women, gays, weirdos, vibrants and progressives to bring Heillary up on high.  She is the long con, as far as the election goes.

Defective thinking and lack of understanding about the 3rd party effectiveness.

In 1992, Ross Perot got 19% of the vote.  Exit polls then said he pulled roughly equally from both Dems and Repubs, and drew a good share of independents.  The country was in recession, had come off the first Iraq war, and the NAFTA debate was going hot & heavy.  Bill Clinton was a fresh face with no National track record, and Bush the elder could not rouse any real passion from the right.....and they both were going to sign off on NAFTA.

But here is the most important number that few realize (and the press will never cover) - 35% of the voters in the exit polls said they would have voted for Perot if they thought he had a chance to win.  35%!  Add that to the 19% he got, and we would have had President Perot.  Clinton got 43% & Bush got 37%.

The nation is even more pissed at the political establishment of BOTH parties this time.  If Trump went independent, and did not make any major mistakes, I would bet good money on him winning.  Just look at how many eyeballs he attracted to the debate last week.  He has momentum, and he understands far better than most how to keep taking advantage of the free media....because they are stupid and vapid and live & die by the daily ratings game.  If he delivers viewers, they will continue to let him drown out all the others, and the bigger he gets, the smaller they all look.  On the other side, the more the media tries to sabotage him, the more the public sees it for what it is, and his power grows more.

I have no idea what his motives are -- uber patriot or shill for someone or something?  What I am pretty sure of is that he could win as an Independent if he goes that route.  He will run one hell of a lot better campaign than Perot.

Fun fact: more than half the speaking time in the "Republican" debate was given to on-the-record supporters of Hillary Clinton:

- Fox News ($3 mil in donations)

- Donald Trump (hundreds of thousands in donations, spoke to Bill right before entering race)

- Jeb Bush (also called the Clintons before entering race, gave HRC a medal even, and plenty of other ties between the two)

Here's my take (disclaimer, Im not a US citizen or resident). In athletics you have a function known as a pace-setter. A pace-setter has no intention and no ability to win the race. The purpose of having a pace-setter is to set the pace in the early part of the race and then drop out at some predetermined moment (usually just before the last sprint or lap). I see Trump as the political equivalent of the pace-setter in athletics. He's a plant. He'll drop out at the opportune moment to leave the standard two-horse "race" intact. Same as it ever was.

Clinton's are keenly aware they are a family dynasty thanks to third party canidency of Perot.   If Perot had not run, the Clinton Crime Family would be an Arkansas regional problem, not the world wide one it is now.
