Tuesday Humor: It's Called The "Dumb Money" For A Reason

Tyler Durden's picture

Something tells us the "CNBC Oil Outlook Survey" was not exactly scientific. Or perhaps it was double scientifically-adjusted.

Whatever it was, it is proof that getting one's investing advice from the dumb money is probably not a good idea.

It is my firm belief that PMSNBC should start a new financial show starring Lester Holt and Jim Cramer (with Brian Williams reporting live from Saudi Arabia, and featuring interviews with that Mile-High-Club Itralian broad Maria Bartrilomo (or however you spell her name; not that it's important to remember after the 3 minutes of fun is over) and Hank Kissinger (both live from the trading floor of the NYSE, in various states of undress). Soros and Yellen could be regular guests, and it could also be a good place to talk about Ben Shalom's tweets as well. Subjects like 'the Mystery of Alan Greenspan's Coded Speeches' would be a great feature (for those in to the Occult, 'hidden mysteries', and the like).

PMSCNBS KNOWS about bottoming (they do it all the time, in fact). Did you know, for example, that a dentist actually shot a LION one time? In AFRICA, of all places. On a SAFARI. I think it was Kimba The White Lion, but I'm not sure.

The problem is not that ZH or any other news outlet has been wrong. It's just plain and simple this: Those who control money control everything. In other words the Fed and their minions. In a free market the markets never would have bottomed in 2009 until market forces themselves had ridden themselves of bankrupt institutions which to this day are operational due to easy money. The game is rigged. It has nothing to do "ZH has been wrong for 7 years". People who believe that the financial crises of 2008 ended are delusional. Printing your way to abundence is a prescirption for disaster, and disaster will hit once the rigging itself no longer has an effect. This is the end game and most know it. It's just that ZH is one of the few who dare speak openly about all this.

Is oil price a free market price or is a managed/rigged price?

If it is a managed price, then to understand where it is going, then one should simply have those who manage it tell everyone else. (but they would not tell because they want everyone to think that the price is a free market price)

The idea that there is "dumb money" presumes that there is a free market and that there are those who know less about the free market dynamics than others.

Based on what I see, there is no free market, when banks, that can create infinite money out of thin air, are involved in determining price. It will always be a rigged market.

I believe it is more free market than any other investment due to cost of storage and it is actually consumed, so any oversupply or undersupply would eventually show up in the marketplace.

Add Bloomberg to the list! They are constantly slagging precious metals, more specifically gold. Sometimes they have 2-3 negative stories on the front page. That's probably a good indicator the bottom is finally in!

You only lose if you sell today.

Give it a while and the perceived 'value' of paper will change.

There's a difference between price and value.

I actually think it IS good idea. Oil is significantly down, like 1/3- of its peak value and way below 50%. I dont know about ZH guys but I buy low and sell high, not opposite. Shorting here is stupidity not going long, how much can you lose vs how high can it go again? Especially with upcoming QE4? Think for god damn sake.

In 3,... 2,... 1,...

NO! NO, NO, NO!

PEAK OIL! We've been running out since 1953/1971/1987/1998/2005/2012, and the REAL PRICE is well over $500.00 an ounce, now (IF you can even FIND oil!).

COME ON, EVERYONE knows the FACTS!

The precious DINOSAURS DIED (SACRIFICED THEMSELVES!) so that you could drive your CARS, you GREEDY HUMANS, and there were ONLY SO MANY OF THEM (buried at 30,260 feet under the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and such; and they liked to dig DEEP GRAVES for their fallen family members). I, for one, an going out on a fiberglass boat powered with deisel fuel fired engines out to the Gulf RIGHT NOW, and am going to drop a wreath of flowers (made of plastic, of course) on the EXACT SPOT where the last, final dinosaur grave was unearthed by the brave adventurers at British Petroleum (and I'll be watching the C-130s doing their fly-bys with the wonderful colored chemicals streaming out in honor of the brave souls who were incinerated on the platform).

When I'm done, I am joining Ms. Rodham and St. Gore on the quest to save humanity from 'climate change'. Hitlery's 19-passenger twin-engine jet plane can't accomodate all the guests, so Mr. Trump has lent us his 757 (it's really fuel-efficient, by the way, and burns far less FOSSIL FUEL than Barry's 747 and all those military jets that go along with him).

OUR MESSAGE:

"PEAK OIL! The interdependence of stupid humanity and the masters of the universe (who know far more than you do, so shut the frack up and go along with our bullshit, or else a Bearcat will be given to a Police Department near YOU to deal with your non-compliance)"

Well, I just want to see Meghyn Kelly's tits. FAUX news hires women who are FAR HOTTER, now. MARIA was O.K. on PMSNBC (before she was worn out by her masters), but she wasn't a BLONDE.
