Apocalyptic Footage From Tianjin Explosion Captured By Drone

Tyler Durden's picture

With at least 50 dead and over 700 injured, it is no exaggeration to say that the massive explosion in the Chinese port of Tianjin is a total disaster. As the following stunning drone's eye views show heavily damaged homes, huge plumes of smoke, and completely burned-out cars cover this post-apocalyptic scene.

Day time secnes of disaster:

 Night-time apocalypse.

 Over the warehouses.

I feel for the poor shmucks who have to go in there and clean up that giant pile of pick-up-sticks of 40,000 lbs containers full of who knows what

clooney_art's picture

It's china. Crazy things happen there and also the reason they have strict media control.

Now, THATS what I call a fire sale.

toady's picture

So, was the message received,  or do they devalue again this evening?

wolfnipplechips's picture

Hey...Where are the pictures of the looters and thugs burning down surrounding businesses and fighting in the streets?

rccalhoun's picture

fill those containers with the crud on the site and export to the usa.  follow the epa's lead.

Now that's some funny shit right there! +1

Anyone else think that the soundtrack in the second video perhaps wasn't the best choice?

It sounds like it's from a Mission Impossible flick or something...

ZippyDooDah's picture

Problem:  How to dispose of the mess.

Solution:  Load it on some ships, dump in the South China Sea.

Benefit:  More islands/landing strips.

Problem solved!  And it's not bad for marine life or anything.

Plus, the Japanese will hate it.  More benefits!

Better yet, where are the fire trucks and ambulances? Totally different cultures. Population over a billion = no rush to save lives.

philosophers bone's picture

Yeah, why aren't they sending the first responders into the Towers before they are detonated.  When will they learn to be upstanding moral beings like us?

toady's picture

That's exactly what popped into my head while I watched video of this stuff this morning.

People are running in circles trying to find their dad/mom/etc without any support, not a single cop/firefighter/paramedic/soldier anywhere. Expect this to disappear from the media loop shortly.

If this was in the US they'd be raising the flag over the rubble and chasing a million conspiracies. Thousands of lawsuits from emotional trauma to lung cancer would be filed. A likely offender would be identified and attacked.

Totally different cultures.

@woldnippiechips: the looters are in the same place as the pill popers...

CIA's space based laser targeting system positioned over target No:2............................ I'm only joking but I wouldn't put it past the f**kers..

"was the message received...?" Your post sounds like snark, but the odds of a major disaster and a major unexpected financial move happening together like this are small.

Iran, China.

Moscow next?

Will the coin-key-dinks never stop?

California legalizes the wonder weed and they get massive droughts and fires.

Colorado legalizes the wonder weed and the government accidentally puts arsenic in their water.

Texas asks for their gold back and they get Jade Hell.

The Chinese de-peg from the petrodollar and pop goes their weasel.

They should change the national anthem to the theme from The Godfather.

Don't forget Japan signing trade deals with China and they got Fukishima

Send in that fucking goon NYC police chief to "find" a "terrorist" passport.  Worked before.

Grinder74's picture

Don't they have a large, overweight panda that can come in and save the day? "Ski-doosh"!

another view point: Japan did it.

World's biggest insurance fire? What's Chinese for "Jewish lightning"?

Watch out - you will attract the attention of the Hasbawwa.

All the shipping containers acted as a blast wall. This could have been magnitudes worse.

BringOnTheAsteroid's picture

Especially if the containers had been bound for Walmart in the US.

All good though, the $10.00 toasters and $15.00 microwaves ship from further south.

I think Wyle E Coyote was spotted a few moments before that explosion.

Wile-E-Coyote's picture

That is a disgraceful rumour I was no where near the place.
