"F$$king Morons": Russia's Lavrov Drops F-Bomb At Saudi-Syria Press Conference
Earlier this week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his Saudi counterpart Adel al-Jubeir to discuss options for Syria’s future. Here’s the context:
Realizing that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s badly depleted forces are likely to face defeat sooner or later, either at the hands of the various militants "freedom fighters" vying for control of the country or else at the hands of the US military which we imagine could "accidentally" end up engaging Assad’s forces directly once the air campaign against ISIS picks up, Moscow has gone back and forth between suggesting that it’s willing to negotiate for an "alternative" to Assad and saying that Russia is willing to lend military support to Damascus if it means helping to eradicate "terrorists." Again we see that both sides are prepared to use ISIS as an excuse to turn what has so far been a thinly-veiled proxy war into an actual confrontation between East and West and although Russia may be willing to "go there" if all options are exhausted, the economic realities of collapsing crude and Western sanctions are all too real which is presumably why the Kremlin entertained Saudi foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss next steps for Syria. In the end, it all came down to the fate of Assad and both sides are apparently willing to stand their ground - for now.
In short, the Saudis see "no place for Assad in the future of Syria" while Russia isn’t quite ready to throw in the towel on the embattled strongman. After the meeting, the two diplomats held a joint press conference.

The rapid envelopment of America’s surveillance and tyranny state came to light with the arrests of three men in North Carolina for allegedly plotting against the government in response to the Jade Helm 15 military employment (which everyone knows is an expansion of the government’s training to deal with any uprising from American citizens).
Sadly, and disgustingly so, many of the comments concerning this arrest fail to understand what’s involved.
First, any evidence so far produced is based on a report from a military surplus store owner cum FBI informant and as everyone knows, America’s vast surveillance system includes paid informants.
The arrests were covered worldwide with instant condemnation of the men as wingnuts and domestic terrorists (all without substantiation). After this news splurge an almost total news blackout appeared to settle in and confirm the men’s guilt. At this point, the only update I can find is an August 6 report from the Shelby Star (N.C.).

No bail for federal prisoners
The men accused of making weapons to use against the government remain behind bars after court appearances Thursday.
Walter Eugene Litteral, 50, of Gastonia, Christopher James Barker, 41, of Gastonia, and Christopher Todd Campbell, 30, of Mount Holly, were in federal court for bond hearings.
Attorneys for Barker and Campbell waived the procedure, and the men were taken back into custody without bail.
Litteral’s attorney, J.P. Davis, moved forward with the hearing.
Prosecutor Mike Savage called a special agent to testify about the investigation, which investigators allege uncovered a plot to kill investigators members of the FBI.
“They said that they would lure government agents and kill them,” said Mark Kozen with the U.S. Marshals Service…
Kozen said investigators also found a “bugout bag,” a pack with survival supplies to last a person 72 hours.

Litteral’s attorney listened to testimony, then questioned Kozen’s sources of information.
The attorney said the interviews should be provided to him before proceeding with a bond hearing.
U.S. Magistrate Judge David Cayer suggested the attorneys nail down exactly what documents and recordings would be needed to move forward.
The prosecution promised to gather the materials, and Cayer put the matter on the docket for Friday morning.
