"As If A Nuke Went Off" - What One Stunned Tianjin Driver Saw
"... the first explosion was followed by an even more powerful explosion, followed by a shock wave that caused live trees to bend, many leaves and branches have fallen, the whole sky was lit with raging fires.. the whole thing was like a Hollywood disaster movie."

Biggest non-nuke explosion I've ever seen...
Maybe someday we'll find out if it was bigger than PEPCON
That's what happens when individuals in government are held accountable for their actions. It's also why they adamantly resist any attempts to do so... For the children!
those shipments of weapons to unfriendlies around the world is a dangerous business, these were not fireworks.
Dear China,
You want to devalue the Yuan and overthrow King Dollar? Careful, worse things might happen.
Yours Truly,
The CIA
@ gmrpeabody
Tainjin estimated to be equivalent to 24 Tons of TNT
Pepcon Disaster, 2nd explosion estimated at equivalent to 1,000 Tons of TNT....

Sorry, Tainjin looks worse.
only because you are stupid. The explosion I posted is 40x larger, scientific fact.
Because the video is from several miles away, and the explosion occurs in the desert, you are unable to comprehend the scale. If that explosion happened in Tainjin it would have killed the majority of the people recording video up close, and broken the windows of the further away videos (instead of just knocking them back). The destruction would have been far far worse.
It was a rocket fuel factory, and had the force of a tactical nuke. Tainjin is big, but tiny in comparison. It's just filmed up close, at night, and occurs around lots of small objects to turn into debris. Sorry you struggle to use your brain.
P.S. - from 3 miles away:

40x more powerful is what it is.....
That was ammonium nitrate: fertilizer. A shit load of it.
4500 metric tons of Ammonium perchlorate, a solid rocket fuel component
Dear CIA,
We have to prop up the big numbers on our stock market to keep the peasants happy. That means devalue the currency to inflate prices or suffer social unrest.
Yours Truly,
The Party
let them eat cake.
janus
could this have been a small range nuke packed inside of a shipping container?
Wouldn't there be just one explosion if it was a low yield tactical nuke? I saw 2 distinct explosions
Most likely explanation to me. (From Wikipedia page on dust explosion)
If rapid combustion occurs in a confined space, enormous overpressures can build up, causing major structural damage and flying shrapnel. The sudden release of energy from a "detonation" can produce a shockwave, either in open air or in a confined space. If the spread of flame is at subsonic speed, the phenomenon is sometimes called a "deflagration", although looser usage calls both phenomena "explosions".
Dust explosions may be classified as being either "primary" or "secondary" in nature. Primary dust explosions may occur inside process equipment or similar enclosures, and are generally controlled by pressure relief through purpose-built ducting to the external atmosphere. Secondary dust explosions are the result of dust accumulation inside a building being disturbed and ignited by the primary explosion, resulting in a much more dangerous uncontrolled explosion inside the workplace. Historically, fatalities from dust explosions have largely been the result of secondary dust explosions.

Driver in 2nd video: "I should probably back up a few feet"
Peicing this together:
1) small fire was being fought in the area of the large "hazardous materials" warehouse.
2) its seems that the HM warehouse ignited and was the first explosion seen on these videos
3) second explosion was the large LNG tank farm right next door to the HM warehouse
4) following, lesser, explosions were other near by materials not on the same scale as the LNG facility
Note to Self: discussion with Central Planners why its probably not a good idea to park an LNG facility NEXT TO a hazardous materials handling warehouse ...
Bingo! saw the explosion and thought LNG!
Multiple explosions from rocket fuel plant. Shockwaves are incredible.

They would know thanks to radiation. im sure there are sattelietes and other sensors that watch for that signature everywhere now
ask ISIS
Any signs of EMP - thoguht so.
Could it be that America is targeting China?
https://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/news-with-views/
I certainly couldn't help but wonder if this was payback for the devaluation.
Not quite on the same scale as the Halifax explosion in 1917.
> Biggest non-nuke explosion I've ever seen...
wait for the dollar collapse
TianJin went Tits up.
Windows were shattered 3 km (2 miles) away and explosion was heard 50 km away. One building housing 2,000 migrant workers reportedly collapsed. Casualties will be in the thousands.
It sure looked and felt like a small nuke went off. But it seems that some explosives went off. Will we ever know what really happened?
What material detonated has not been confirmed by Chinese authorities, though witnesses reported that there were not chemical fumes in the air, suggesting it may have been stores of explosives.
I suspect that the casualties will be in the 1000's...warning; graphic -

So China depegs and a tactical nuke size explosion goes off...hmmm...
What a coincidence.
Speaking of coincidences,
The National Supercomputing Center of Tianjin was only a few blocks away from blast.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Supercomputing_Center_of_Tianjin
Tianhe-1A
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tianhe-I
On 12 August, 2015, the 186,368-core Tianhe-1, felt the impact of the powerful Tianjin explosion and went offline for some time. Xinhua reports that “the office building of Chinese supercomputer Tianhe-1, one of the world's fastest supercomputers, suffered damage.” Sources at Tianhe-1 told Xinhua the computer is not damaged, but they have shut down some of its operations as a precaution.
And in the TV series Mr. Robot this summer hackers plan to blow up a gas plant in order to destroy a nearby data center :)
Yup, these events must be deposited in the collective unconscious before they are actualized.
Disasters like this suck. Abolish them on Q99x2 we did.
Virtually identical to this one.....test code named 'Little Feller II'
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Feller_%28nuclear_tests%29
In Little Feller II (July 7), the warhead was suspended only three feet above the ground and had a yield equivalent to only 22 tons of TNT
Holy shit
They act like 3 buildings collapsed into their own foot print... All that I Didn't see one building collapsed... blow out yes...fallen no... Good thing no planes hit the area
Somebody needs to be more careful when transporting hot sauce.
All your ports are belong to us
Sup brother John...Keeping it real
Ho Li Chit!
I'd back the hell out of that area too...
Armemants facility?
A warning from the U.S.... DO NOT FUCK WITH YOUR CURRENCY AGAIN! Capisce?
Ordinance explosions, fratricide of missiles and warheads, you can see them cooking off as the blow skyward. Wonder who they were exporting to?
Seal team 6 was busy that night...

Great big crater....
I don't see any sign of there ever being a chemical plant.... Big hole in the ground but that's all.
Next up... a 5,000 degree day in Bejing.
My guess is someone made a few bucks under the table "overlooking" safety regulations.
With any luck that stupid mutherfucker was vaporized.
It's the same guy who was inspecting those escalators:
After Three Grim Accidents in a Week, Is It Even Safe to Ride on a Chinese Escalator?http://time.com/3981884/china-escalator-safety-elevator/
Seriously, If I'm ever in China I'm taking the elevator. OH WAIT....
Space weapons test confirmed.
China needs to expose the Death Star.
Nigga was like I'm out.
There is a rumor going around from sources in China that what blew up were munitions and arms headed to Iran.
And you can guess which country (Hint: their intelligence agency motto is 'for by deception, thou shalt do war'.) may have had a hand in the explosion.
And since there are allegations of that same agency setting off a nuke on a fault line off the coast of Japan (Fukushisma) because they were going to send arms to Iran as well...
Dovie'andi se tovya sagain (It's time to toss the dice)

The bad chicken side of me wishes that video had been taken on Wall Street.
We nuked some folks !!!
Google Texas City 1947, or Halifax circa WWI
Port Chcago 1944.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Chicago_disaster
It's gonna be a big impact on China. The port of Tianjin is a very important shipping port for them. It is now wrecked.
BPJ said ... "Google Texas City 1947" Exactly! Same sort of problem. Not exactly the same materials, but definitely some type of explosive chemical, or ordnance shipment.
It is possible that the blast was caused by munitions. But I am skeptical that foreign sabotage would be possible - or likely - in that city. I think that it's much more likely that this started as some sort of fire. But the explosives, or explosive chemicals, were stored too close to other flammable sources, and too close to each other.
China will investigate this. But it's going to take a long time.
When the Kaiju came ashore in Tianjin, my whole world changed.
The colors of the explosion and the location tell me all I need to know. And those that were in the know are welcome to fully disclose the details. But I know you won't because you enjoy hiding behind truth's protective layers. In case you see the light and change your mind see number 8 in the link below. This should just begin to cover it except for those that were killed.
My sincere condolences to everyone affected by this event.

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” - Plato
I don't think the U.S. could ever make a slave state/country out of China or Russia...by threats of bombs or actual bombing...I personally think the leaders and their country men would rather die first...and anyone who thinks we have the power to do it...particularly, these two...are as delusional as the war planners of the last few American wars (aka Police Actions).
Agree............Russia alone could wipe out the USA
They must have been making the gypsum for the drywall market in the US
This will make China to built its Silk Road even faster.
Stay away from water and keep closer to Russia - a recipe for success.
My sincere condolences to everyone affected
In old times the Chinese emperor used to hire eunuchs as attendants for his ladies. It is said that many people castrated themselves to serve as eunuchs (for money). There used to fires in Chinese palaces and it came to known that greedy eunuchs did that (for money, for looting & for dissatisfaction) .
