The #1 Reason Why Donald Trump Is What America Needs (And Deserves)

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Simon Black via SovereignMan.com,

Just a few weeks ago, US talk show host Stephen Colbert was asked if he thought that Donald Trump had a chance of becoming President of the United States.

Colbert responded sincerely. “Honestly, he could. And that’s not an opinion of Trump. That’s my opinion of our nation.”

He’s right. The Land of the Free may very well be ready for something completely different. And Trump certainly seems able to deliver.

He is, after all, unique in his field. Donald Trump has never served in politics, and his blunt style is almost the exact opposite of every other major candidate.

But there’s one thing that really sets him apart, that, in my opinion, makes him the most qualified person for the job:

Donald Trump is an expert at declaring bankruptcy.

When the going gets tough, Trump stiffs his creditors. He’s done it four times!

Candidly, this is precisely what the Land of the Free needs right now: someone who can stop beating around the bush and just get on with it already.

As history shows, a default is inevitable.

The calculus is quite simple: when governments take on too much debt, they start having to divert a huge amount of their tax revenue just to pay interest.

This means that, at a minimum, the government has to sacrifice many of the promises they made to their citizens. They cut other programs in order to have enough money to pay interest.

But that’s not too popular. So instead they typically just borrow more money… until they’re borrowing money just to pay interest on money they’ve already borrowed.

This makes the problem exponentially worse.

Debt skyrockets. And soon the government is spending more on interest payments than national defense. (The US is almost at this point).

Eventually a bankrupt government has no choice: either default on their bondholders, or default on the obligations they made to their citizens. Or both.

This could take the form of a ‘selective default’. For example, the US government could default on the $2.4 trillion that it owes the Federal Reserve.

Or the $1.2 trillion that it owes China.

These are both possibilities.

But the prospect of default on “risk free” US government bonds would throw the global financial system into a tailspin; not to mention it would be the final nail in the coffin for the US dollar’s dominant reserve status.

Fortunately there are easier options for Uncle Sam.

The biggest debts that are owed by the US government are the obligations they owe to you.

Specifically, all the benefits like Social Security and Medicare they promised to American taxpayers.

The US government’s own numbers estimate these obligations at nearly $42 TRILLION, completely dwarfing what they owe China, or anyone else.

Then there’s the obligation they have to preserve the purchasing power of the $12 trillion held by the American people.

That’s the current value of the money supply in the United States right now.

History shows that debasing a nation’s currency is one of the easiest and most effective ways for bankrupt governments to plunder their citizens’ wealth, little by little over time.

As I explain in today’s podcast, the hard reality that most people don’t seem to get is that the US government is bankrupt.

This isn’t some wild assertion or conspiracy theory; their own financial statements show that the government’s ‘net worth’ is NEGATIVE $17.7 trillion.

And yes, the US is already borrowing money just to pay interest.

In fact the combined expenses of interest on the debt plus mandatory entitlements like Social Security nearly exceed their entire tax revenue.

In other words, you could eliminate nearly everything we think of as government– the EPA, the IRS, Homeland Security, etc. and it wouldn’t make a dent in the national debt.

When things get this dire, it doesn’t matter who sits in the chair.

You might as well elect a chimpanzee in the hopes that Mister Bubbles might accelerate the decline.

Donald Trump may very well be that chimpanzee. Especially given his unparalleled experience in declaring bankruptcy.

Nations that pass the economic point of no return can’t rebuild until they hit rock bottom.

And the US is way past that point. So let’s get on with it already and hit the reset button.

And it wouldn't damage the democrats or republicans image and they can blame the independend candidates for decades to come...

It's almost like a conincidence... that somebody who's brokespends billions of dollars on getting elected....

It's all a game. Everybdoy loses during and after a election.

And he's just another populist, the sad part is that there's no intelectual candidate and if there would be, no way in hell he'd be able to get elected.

If you can't put up a show or promote war, you can't become president in the UA.

It may be inevitable, it may even be desireable, but the consequences for the entire world are horrendous, as I've known for some time. It would mean martial law across the US indefinitely, a collapse of every overseas installation, a completely new and foreign regime, or more, stepping in to fill the vacuum, the possible collapse of allied countries, hundreds of thousands of deaths in the US alone, rationing, zombies (literally) and who knows what unknown consequences.

The far smarter approach would be to transition in an orderly fashion, not all at once, but I suspect that Mr. Trump being the person he is would go for the gusto.

It is not that I expect Mr Trump to actually do anything, but rather that the founding stock of this nation may finally realize that either Whites hang together or they shall surely hang alone.

Why We Need a Troll as President

Since Donald Trump entered the race, the Overton Window has shifted so that there is serious discussion of banning sanctuary cities, putting America first when it comes to trade, and, while we’re at it, discussing the open secret that John McCain may have been a collaborator in Vietnam. And Trump accomplished this not by “playing the game” but by treating the press and other Republicans with open contempt, performing an end run around the “Cathedral” (or the Synagogue, if you prefer) of interlocking institutions that manage acceptable opinion.

More importantly, only Donald Trump could have done this. Only someone with outrageous wealth, direct access to the “megaphone,” and utter contempt for the governing consensus could even achieve the modest level of support Trump has been able to garner. There is no other figure in America other than Donald Trump who meets those characteristics.

For a moment, consider the hysterical economic retribution directed against Trump by both private and public institutions for the obviously true comment that Mexico is not sending its best people to the United States. And then consider that even now, figures such as Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn calmly collect massive salaries from prominent and respected institutions without so much as an inconvenience. The double standard and the redefinition of “extremism” is breathtaking. Like Trump, one literally has to be a billionaire to point it out and not face personal destruction.

The survival of the current political, economic, and cultural system is a death sentence for the European-American population. A government that goes out of its way to import populations because they will dispossess and harm the European-American population of this government is evil. Call it nihilism or call it cynicism, but anything that keeps the system functioning as it is constitutes complicity with evil and just about anything that disrupts it should be supported.

Trump creates an opening to disrupt that system. He’s already opened up debate. And if you are going to bother with electoral politics at all, he’s the only one who even has the potential to create a positive change.

Ultimately, of course, this is a sideshow. Real change will occur by building our own institutions, markets, and tribes, and fomenting revolutionary consciousness among the forgotten men of our Hollow Empire. But electoral politics will affect us, even if we try our best to ignore it and remain independent of it. It doesn’t change the nature of the struggle, but it affects our actions depending on whether Trump, Clinton, Bush, Walker, or Sanders is President.

It is my HOPE that a President Trump may at least slow down some of this;

If white people were doing to blacks what black people are doing to them, there would be rioting from coast to coast and a race war.

http://newnation.org/

South African Dan Roodt, November 9, 2012
"Demography is destiny, as Auguste Comte said. There is a mysterious process whereby whites react to racial domination not by rioting or claiming special privileges as other races do, but by working harder, having even fewer children, and quarrelling among themselves. We see this happening in South Africa, in Western Europe and, of course, in America, where white Republicans and Democrats are like two dogs fighting over a bone, while a third is about to run away with it and leave them with nothing.

The Republican Party is poised to adopt the attitude of South Africa’s liberal opposition party, the Democratic Alliance, which has forsaken its core white support and practices affirmative action in its own ranks. There are three women on its election posters: one white, one colored or mixed-race, and one black, at once expressing the party’s diversity and its disdain for the white male.

There are three forces that are likely to determine the Republican Party’s position on white interests. The first is the wishes of its own electorate; the second is the corporate sector that funds the party, and the third is the mainstream media. America’s large corporations support affirmative action and diversity, while the media support multiculturalism. The GOP will follow their bidding and betray its voters.

Like the whites of the former Rhodesia, South West Africa, and South Africa, Republicans will embark on a forlorn search for conservative allies “of color” whom non-white voters will reject as traitors. Even if a black woman such as Condoleezza Rice could be fielded as the next Republican presidential candidate, it is doubtful whether many blacks or Hispanics would vote for her.
Patrick Buchanan and others have already chronicled “the death of the West,” but we need to understand the laws of this process, because it follows a pattern of false hopes, interspersed with successive betrayals by white leaders.

American whites could become a minority much sooner than they think. That has been our experience in South Africa; people appreciate the enormity of change only after it is too late."

I supported Ron Paul for a plethora of reasons, including the simple fact that he in my opinion, was the man best equipped and intellectually honest to fix our largest problems, which are all monetary related. Be it economic policy, national debt, entitlements, the Fed... It all comes back to the state of emergency our books are in. You see, too many people like to ride these social issues like gays, or "women's rights" etc. The truth is these issues will be the last things on peoples minds when the economy and/or dollar plummet. When the ponzi scheme is realized by everyone, there's going to be one hell of a great awakening, and it's going to overshadow every other issue we have without exception.

It's for this reason, that I support Trump (so far) in this election. He's simply the best man for the job. Perhaps in another election at another time, date, and national circumstance, I wouldn't agree, but right now I do. It's almost as though he's walking into a situation he was built to fix, much like what Carter left for Reagan. What's unfortunate to me, is that as many people who claim to be, "awake" and discount the media and the trash they try to force down our throats, are the same people who are somehow rolling up Donald Trump and tossing him in with everyone else, as though he's the same ol' same ol'. This type of mentality is proof of accepted defeat.

Why? Because you're so certain of doom and gloom, and of evil that runs the world that you have forgotten how to fight; you've accepted this premise that everyone's out to get you, and it's only a matter of time before you get bent over. In my opinion your very own concept of being "awake" is equally as destructive as being asleep. But not everyone is out to get you, and the people of this nation have finally woken up to the point that they're willing to push back, and fight back, which is why Trump is surging in the first place. Trump didn't do so hot 4 years ago did he? See, the people really do get the leadership they deserve, and this time, I think the American people have had enough of the crap and are pushing back hard enough, that maybe what we deserve is a chance to right the ship... Maybe, we deserve a decent leader this time. Maybe, enough people are waking up, that we deserve a second chance, and the kids who've never dropped a ballot once in their lives deserve a first chance.

I for one would vote for Trump if the election were held today. He's literally knocked the teeth out of everyone he's come into contact with, and has his eyes on restoring American jobs and fixing the debt, and you're going to moan, cry, and pout about him being just another puppet, despite the fact the he's the one who has been EXPOSING the media and calling them out on their crap, which woke up HOW MANY people during the first debate? But that's an orchestrated plot, right? Jeb Bush, the candidate who was destined to be forced down our throats is literally about to be on life support because of Trump. Donald Trump is the only candidate telling you Hillary better go to prison for what she's done.

But he's... Orchestrated? Some people are simply over the deep end, and have allowed themselves to no longer believe in anything. Not me, and therefore I don't deserve that in my leadership. Maybe you've gotten the leadership you've deserved, but maybe I'll get the leadership I deserve this time.

You are about as stupid (and/or willfully ignorant) as they come, and don't know a thing about Reagan ..

What Wanta does confirm is not only the existence of the DVD, but that it was seen by President Reagan not only as a very real threat, but Reagan also cited the DVD as fully complicit in the 1981 assassination attempt by a Bush family friend, John Hinckley.

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2015/05/04/neo-so-much-more-than-nukes/

Reagan, for all his humanity and imperfections that goes with his humanity, will eventually go down in history as possibly this nation's greatest POTUS, and to this nanosecond, this nation's last duly elected one. (They could not fix that first term election. They had to accommodate it.)

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/11/10/was-ronald-reagan-the-last-duly-...

Reagan had the foresight to form a task force before his first inaugural. Because he was briefed and knew what was coming, and was almost a complete replay of JFK. (Reagan was DNC at one time.) To be in the game, one has to play the game. That is how the world works. Otherwise, one does not play the game. And one cannot just come in as an "outsider" and upset the applecart as some think is possible. It's not ..

What a stupid article. Trump has 400 deals and 4 went bankrupt. How many government programs are there? Say 400. And how many are successful? Maybe 4. So this makes Trump the best candidate to take America into bankruptcy?

Trump shutdown his casinos in New Jersey BEFORE many of the others ran into trouble. So he is 'bad' because he saw Atlantic City dying earlier than others? And he used the same bankruptcy laws just like everyone else can.

So Trump is the best candidate to ride the U.S. into the ground - even though he ran up NONE of the $18 Trillion in debt and because he used lenient bankruptcy laws passed by a 'bought and paid for' Congress?

Future dictators often seem like the best man for the job.  While Trump represents a good movement in the country--that of being disgusted with politics as usual--he had the very real potential of causing more harm than good. At this point, I'm not sure it matters, though. The Empire is dying. And there is the real possibility that he might hurry the process, which might not be a bad thing when I think about it.

There is a lot to say in response to this post.

#Cute. Lots of folks have been saying this though, so it is not original.

#Yes we are bankrupt so on the face of it, it looks like both the truth and good irony to push this point.

#Simon makes it sound like this is a normal kind of bankrupt; it ain’t, thus the Donald will be no better at handling this or not, than anyone else. Our situation has never occurred in the history of the globe before, I do not believe.

#When Donald declared bankruptcy (WDDB), he did not have a printer at his disposal. The printer makes it so you can put money anywhere. Anywhere. ANY-WHERE. The idea that there even is a balance sheet somewhere that is complete is laughable. If we print up a pallet or two to bribe a dictator, and ship it to his palace we are helping to build, does the Fed really hold a Treasury Note on that one?

#WDDB, he did not have a military to do his bidding, anywhere in the world. ANY-WHERE. The US government coupled with our banks and corporations are the biggest crime syndicate on the globe. Do mafias really go “bankrupt?” Or do they bully their way to commit more crime, another day?

#Simon acts like this kind of bankruptcy has a straight up balance sheet that somehow, somewhere, all the numbers cleanly add up and show a concrete number that we will be short, so that we can then add up our obligations and decide what to default on because it is a balanced equation. They don’t add up. They haven’t for a while, perhaps never did. We have been reading here about all kinds of black book projects (orange book?) that are not on the balance sheet, and will never appear anywhere in public. Money laundering for the government via IMF and such. Drug running to earn money for government operations. Trillions of dollars “missing;” vaporized in such a spectacular fashion it makes Jon Corzine blush pink and then turn green with envy. WDDB, it was clear that the corporation could no longer keep paying its bills. When will it be clear we can’t pay ours?

#We all need to get a grip (me too, I often talk about how bankrupt we are). There will be no magic “declaring.” We will keep doing just what we are doing, until we can’t. They will shift and print and lie as long as we let them. I think we will let them for as long as they can get away with it.

#All the so called first world countries are in on it too, and are in varying amounts of disequilibrium as well. They just are pissed because they want our seat (no matter how fat and coarse we are). Putin wants our seat. China wants our seat. We control the world reserve currency and if anyone overtly calls us on our shit, they had better be ready to take a fall with us when they do.

#Bankrupt as a concept does not cover what is happening. Those in charge are doing any fucking thing they please. Anything. ANY-THING. Eat shit and die. There will be no bankruptcy. Bankruptcy assumes there is a creditor out there strong enough to take it from you, a court you will actually listen to.

This thing is more far gone than many of us are willing to own. We still keep looking for law and order. I know I do. It ain’t going to happen.

Not one time do these assholes mention the payments made to the government for SS,,, nor the theft of these funds to pay for wars. The asshole doesn't even mention EBT, Section 8, and the gads of others disability gimmies that the recipients pay even a little.

Tell you what Mr. Black,,,and others,,,  pay me the $250,000 plus interest I paid in to FICA that was spent on the wars and other crap you don't mention and you can shitcan your hated SS. How much do you suppose the latest EPA 'mistake' in Colorado alone will cost? How about Obama Care? How about the millions/billions to Ukraine, ISIS, IRAQ, Egypt, Saudi, Israel and about half of the planet? How about the 500 billion annually paid to keep NATO going? How about the billions spent on the U.S Gestapo Agencies to spy on us? How about the millions/billions paid to the anchor babies and their illegal parents who haven't paid a dime into the system,,, much less SS.

There's so much waste and fraud going on and all you and others want to do is starve grandma.

And those that bitch about receiving more than what was paid in...OKAY,,, we'll just apply that to all the insured people that have received more than they paid in premiums, like in hurricane Ivan, Rita and so on. Heck, morons in New York got paid who never had insurance.THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. There isn't a insurance company on the planet that is fully funded to pay it's losses in a major catastrophe.

Getting tired of the same old,,, Your bitching about the ONLY group that has at least paid some money into the waste. If you can't pay me and others out than STFU.

You’re almost on point.  When discussing fixes for the SSA funds that were plundered, bureaucrats, politicians and media heads limit the options to cut benefits, raise taxes or more debt.

A conspicuously absent option is an investigation and recovery of the stolen funds.

Only private men will mention this, and only they have the interest to make it happen.

DELIVER WHAT ????????

Donald Trump has NOT stated one coherent policy.  Not one.

I can remember a lot of previous Presidential debates.  I cannot remember a time when any candidate gained prominence simply by "pot stirring, screaming, and ridicule".  That might be a good way to take over the Kindergarten class, but it's NO WAY to run America.

Maybe Donald Trump could fill the spot ... for Don Rickles in Las Vegas?

This process is a condemnation of American voters.

The thing about Trump is that he knows nothing about wealth creation. Only inheriting it, and hanging on to it. Not the same as creating wealth and new business.

Two things Trump has to do to get my vote. (and I don't vote.)

1) Get behind Wanta's trillions. (They are real. A U.S. District Court judge confirms.)

2) As a condition or say unavoidable consequence of #1, he must be briefed and agree at some point to publicly come clean on 9/11 to his constituency .

http://wantarevelations.com/2014/01/wanta-plan-macro-financial-economic-... (This was presented to the G8 in 2010, post the 2008 crash. Actually before that, but what's the use.)

http://eagleonetowanta.com/

He wants a warchest for his campaign? Then one is available. Wanta is no politician. But he is one hell of a financial wizard and intelligence (HUMINT) marvel, that was to be this nation's SECDEF at one time, that actually served as I.G. for the DoD. Can one think of a better brain trust, on top of who Wanta knows himself (like Putin) ..

In my opinion the Snowden deal is not what it seems to appear to be? We the informed people knew most of the information  Edward Snowden was to reveal to the public.. Spying on us DUH! the Government really??LOL.. My point is wiki-leaks Julian Assange exposed a lot more and specifics.. The marine Bradley who exposed the military industrial complex, The shooting of media members/civilians from on Apache helicopter killing them.. Bradley Released the video. Jullian Assange and Bradley Manning with heroics exposed classified information and corruption by the government to the people.. I mean real, cut and dry evidence.. Real heroes and whistle blowers.... This country the USA will never have a real President like JFK beloved by the PEOPLE! Donald will make the USA file for bankruptcy!! Mr Black is correct but there is only one survivable way to declare bankruptcy...hyperinflation. If you just stiff china you might get a war. If you just stiff your citizens you will get a revolution

Hyperinflation solves the problem. People think inflation is like the weather. It just happens. It is a mysterious force that can't be predicted. No one coulda seen it coming.

By continuing to spend when there 'should be' severe austerity the government looks like it is trying to keep it's promises even as it utterly destroys the currency.

...besides...it has been done sooo many times before even a guy like Obama can get it right. Just ask the French...or the Germans...or the Bolivians or  the Mexicans or the Hungarians...you get it...

The USA will not make this an event in which anyone party makes a declaration. It will simply happen even as the government appears to try it's best to keep things right...in spite of the clear fact that it's actions alone have caused the problems.

Hyperinflation is not really survivable. Prices alway go up first, then wages go up after. The people lose all the way.

All the people should take the reins here and plan a personal bakrupcy. That would be deflation of the peoples debt, for the peoples future. Its inevitable and has already started anyhow.

Does “Donald Trump [have] a chance of becoming President?”

Of course he does… if he does as he is told by his Judeo-Bolshevik money lenders… who made him wealthy, gave him a national TV show and regular exposure on their controlled media.

Will he, for example, propose to constitutionalize taxes… in fact?  Who knows that there is a constitutional distinction between US citizen and state citizen (that is, black citizen and white citizen, see 42 USC 1982); and that the income tax is lawfully imposed on only the black citizen?  (My lawyer studied this for two years before he was ready to file a complaint based on my finding.)

Will he lead an effort to reform the legal system to recognize one of the major rights Founders sought to win/confirm with the Revolution… the constitutionally-protected right to withhold taxes until grievances are redressed?

Indeed, who but a few dozen men in this country know of this right?

So, Donald becomes president – so what?  All he’ll give us is a choice between a blue yoke or a red yoke.

Big deal.

If, on the other hand, Donald does indicate in any way that he would seek any meaningful redress, he’ll be accidented, suicided or the victim of a major scandal long before campaign circus is over.

No, if there is to be redress of any kind, it’ll have to be done by private men… the same method by which the American Revolution was conducted.

It depends on his initial thought process....Did he USE the bankruptcy laws, or did it just happen...I say this because I always worked hard, and paid my bills, and the economy in my field went down and I had a hard time keeping up...BUt ya know what? I left my house perfect and the banks made money..I left my auto perfect and the auto dealer even came out ok...But then again, a person could max out their credit cards etc knowing that they could just file bankruptcy... I dont know trumps initial thought, but there is a difference of needing a bankruptcy in hard times, and using bankruptcy for your own desires.

If trump was declared king, it would destroy 100 years of Zionism planning for the New World Order. Which is why the Media and the people in his own party are against him. The more people want him as king, the more the few don't want him as king.

Remember: the only presidents in history to get whacked were liked by the public, presidents that are hated by the public are never whacked.

If your weakass want a "king" then move to England.  Or you could come to my house, because there I am king.....and will be until the day I die.

You are obviously a product of the weak minded socialist school system who educated what it was to be an American right out of you.

The US is not going to go 'bankrupt' anytime soon. It is the still the best choice in the world. The US has a printing press. Honestly, some of you guys need to get a passport and get out more often. We have a few more years in this game. And once this current shitstorm gets underway in October the USD will be the king turn in the toilet bowl.

As for Trump, he is motivated by his own self intreests. I agree we have yet to find out his true motivation. But until we do, the guy has my vote because I trust that whore HRC even less than I trust King Georoge III. Now, if Ben Carson and Rand Paul could step up the energy that would be great but I don't see it happening.

Got to call into the Breightbart program last weekend.  I will reiterate here what I said then.

Trump is a bafoon at best.  It is amazing to me that anyone is taking this clown seriously.....about anything he says.  Then I remember this is the age of "reality" (staged) TV, and understand that the sheeple need the drama non-stop.

Trump is an ego-maniac.  I swear, I can't stand to listen to his Mafia wannabee self talk about how he can do this better than anyone else, he's the only one who ever has, he knows, he has, blah blah blah.

I keep wondering, am I supposed to call him "Il Duce", "Mein Fuhrer", or "The Donald"?  Damn sure won't be "Mr. President".  Trump is at least a CEO and will never settle for lowly title of "President".

The President of the USA is supposed to be the head "SERVANT" of the country.  That is the last thing Trump will ever be.

What the hell qualifications does this guy have?!  He knows nothing of foreign policy or affairs, his personal and fiscal life are tabloid material, he knows nothing of serving anyone but himself, and he cares about no one but himself.

The man admitted on national TV that he has bought senators, congressmen, and govenors.  He is a mafia gutter-rat that has tried to legitimize himself over the last decade.  Just because this jackass gets up and has some funny one-liners doesn't make him Presidential material.

We need someone who is going to uphold the Constitution.  Trump will uphold his own interest.  Anyone worth $10 bil is a corrupt crony capitalist.  That is the only way you get that kind of jack in this day and age.  Someone on here mentioned that when he starts hammering on the Fed Reserve then he may start being believeable.  I agree.  You won't hear this guy say jack about the banking system......because he is a tool of it.

I could give him a pass for his lack of experience, integrity, principle, etc........if I believed he really loved this country, but this clown has "I LOVE MYSELF ABOVE ALL ELSE" in flashing neon on his forehead.  Most just can't see it well for the hair.

I could go on, but enough has been said.  You vote for this Caesar wannabe.  I never will.  And please do not waste my time or anyone else's by replying some BS about how he is better than anyone else running.  Take the "lesser of two evils" mantra and shove it.  That weak minded game has taken us far down the road we find ourselve on at this late stage in the game.  When I sit down to supper and the choices are dog shit or cow shit..........I take a pass......I don't pick the one that smells best.

Sickening how talking about Trump brings out the collectivist wussies on the hedge.  You all need some "great leader" because you are too stupid and scared to govern youselves.  Always looking for someone to do it for you.

"The President of the USA is supposed to be the head "SERVANT" of the country."

From where and whence did you arrive at that conclusion; historically and/or constitutionally?  The President is the head of state/gov't.  Not a servant, not even suppose to be representing a constituency, otherwise you have a Unitary Gov't, a Maximum Leader, a dicktatorship.  One third (1/3 allegedly) of the entire federal gov't power apparatus.

Does everyone reading this just assume that Mr. Trump wants to win?  Can't other motivations account for his claimed run?  Maybe he has an animus w/ Jeb (Ross did w/ GHWB), or maybe he simply is trying to open up the moribund political process?
