Most of us know that just about every government in the world is thoroughly corrupt, and that all of the economic indicators are wholly manipulated ...
And that the big insiders skew the playing field through high frequency trading, quote stuffing, insider dealing, central bank shenaningans, etc. ad nauseum ...
Most of us are just trying to protect our assets and our families ...
And we know that the big reset is coming, because the Matrix can only suppress reality for so long ...
So what's this about?
All of us together are smarter than any one of us individually. (I learn as much from reading your comments as I do from my own research and writing).
Here's the question: How do we build a sane, free world out of the ashes of the fallen system?
It's easy to point out the problems. But I want to hear from wiser souls as to SOLUTIONS.
How do we build local NETWORKS of mature, freedom-loving individuals so we can hit the ground running? After all, we can all go into our own caves to weather out the storm. But - at some point - we have to rebuild community and civilization.
Empires have collapsed one after another for thousands of years ... and then the people have seemingly started over at zero.
How do we build networks of trust, strenth and prosperity to weather the hurricane of change?
I'm not even pretending to have all of the answers. I'm just humbly trying to start the conversation ...

Either you want to have a capitalism or socialism. Socialism cannot work without communism because private companies have a right to pack up and leave(viz. France`s overtaxing consequences). If you want capitalism, all you should do is to make as fair rules as possible and to make laws that reduce corruption as much as possible. Thats it. Nothing else should be done by government in this particular area.
They should also not support people socially too much except for very basic last resort help after verifying that person, even with all his/her relatives support cannot survive and really need it. Families who make kid(s) should not get extra financial support based on that, its their decision/problem why should somebody else pay for it.
End the FED and prosecute its past members for a possible treason. Let market go whenever it wants to, regardless of consequences. If it want to crash let it. It will clean up economy and stabilize on its own, as always before.
Food and environment is an issue, if people get sick they drag economy with them as they spend everything on expensive medical treatment. If it mean higher food prices so be it, let them feel their own overpopulation consequences.
Legalize abortion and make it free of charge. Fuck you religious creeps.

Prosecute big names and politics if suspected of corruption - everybody that is still alive regardless of when it happened. Confiscate their wealth if well proved fraud.

Develop cheap, instantaneous tests to ferret out psychopaths, and restrict them from any position of authority. The collapse of authority as a legitimate concept is sure to follow.
Humans are animals, and like any other animal the population will vary according to resource level. This is reflected in group behavior as well as in the types of individual animals that are born. The ratios of the types of individuals born, such as psychopaths and perhaps more benign types that have yet to be discovered, are a product of scarcity.
As we live in post-post scarcity times, the population dynamics of humanity will vary accordingly. More work needs to be done to explore the effects of living without need, as the artificial scarcity meme that has been propagated by the current master class falls away.
We are evolving past these old systems of control and deprivation. We have changed, as a group, and few if any of us truly believe in the need for slavery. And when we are honest with ourselves and look in the mirror, we must admit we have been enslaved by surreptitious means for our whole lives. When a critical mass of people can confront that reality, we will finally leave slavery in the past.
Unless the master class succeeds in having a nuclear war, this will be the final cycle of empire. We have come so far from the privation of the old times and we forget the miraculous advances we enjoy. No one ever need starve to death again, no one needs to go without shelter. The poorest in our old caste system can fly through the sky for a the cost of a few days labor. A $5 item can connect our voices with someone on the other side of the planet at virtually no cost.
And amid all these miracles the oligarch scarcity meme tries to tell us that some people are getting too much of the oligarchs' free printed money, without engaging in the proper amount of slavery to the oligarchs and their system. Those who still think of themselves as conservatives should start asking themselves if they truly believe in this type of system, rather than engaging in endless platitudes about hard work and saving. When the money is corrupt, all is corrupt.
The key to entering a new age rests in the discrediting of "authority" as a concept for human organization. If you do not enter into agreements willingly, you are a slave. That is what authority really means.
You are either free, or you are a slave. We have been indoctrinated to believe that there is a proper level of individual slavery that ensures the freedom of the group. No one person can be free, or else chaos will reign. We must all accept control, domination, and eventually slavery to make sure that "society" and civilization continues. We need our slavemasters, we can't live without them.
This lie stands at the center of all our woes, and for the first time in history it will be broadly exposed and ridiculed, absent cataclysmic war. Then nature will take its course. We have been inching toward freedom since the Enlightenment, and this is the next big step.

One necessary skill to network with the like-minded and like-situated is to learn to identify and ignore the divide and conquer gambit. Beyond the practical matter of not losing yourself in a distraction, it helps to know it's a strategy of the people who want to maintain their overclass position.

First thing, have an exit strategy in farm not too close urban area.
My family has, I and my in-laws and nephews have a contingency plan, large and united family.
Divided into three phases:
Before the shit grab.
During the shit going on.
Aftermath (where you will see a lot of dead people in urban areas).
Once the dust settles, no use having a gold bar, a lighter "Bic" will be much more valuable.
Self-sufficiency in food, water and ammunition as well as energy (in Brazil not so, there is plenty of sunshine) and fuel for motorcycles and cars as well as lubricating oil, medicines etc ..
Every two months there is a barbecue on the farm where they all go, the facilities are always Ok maintenance.
I miss SSB and VHF radios in our stores, my idea of ??acquiring such property was not accepted in the family.

There is a serious problem in Brazil, who uses receivers / radio transmitters are drug traffickers in slums.

I do not know how to help you in the US in the event of some great shit happen but, believe me, there are a lot of people scattered throughout the world are preparing for the worst.

You have the right idea-good location that is set up for raising food on the hoof and in the fields along with water and ample armed support to guard it all are essentials.
By the way CCI makes a 22 bullet that is very quiet. It is called CCI Suppressor and is 970 fps. CCI Quiet isn't bad although it is only 710 fps. Either one in the right hands will net you supper or dispatch "bad varmints." Remember that in a grid down situation, lead is a precious metal.
Learn the essentials of bartering. Never actually "have" anything yourself, but know of some guy who just might and never meet near your home/retreat. Give the "guy" a name so you don't forget-call him Jack or anything and remember you only know of him.
NEVER ever give something away. ALWAYS exchange "stuff" even it is just labor. If you have "stuff" to give away, you likely have enough to make it worthwhile to rob you. You were paying attention about never meeting near your "home" weren't you? And not actually possessing stuff yourself? And WATCH YOUR BACK. Your neighbor will kill you to feed his kids.
But the most important thing to aquire is virtually weightless - old time skills and knowledge.
Then because you do need "stuff," checkout prepper sites which will tell you to pick up Bic lighters, (can be refilled - so check out Youtube videos), liquor, cigarettes, lots of salt, toilet paper, solar lighting that can be brought inside at night, hurricane lamps, kerosene, mosquito netting, and first aid supplies. Buy Minute Rice, dry beans, and corn meal, non-hybrid seeds, and paper/plastic bags of all sizes and types. Buy non-electric hand tools at garage or estate sales along with canning supplies.
Don't forget about the needs of pets and babies. (Uh, you did remember birth control and big supply of your meds, didn't you?) By the way, you are exercising to get in shape, aren't you? Putting in a garden will accomplish that for you pretty quick and put food on the table as well.
Set aside OLD hard copy books on US government, American history, and some good fiction, board games, cards, puzzles, and toys. Goodwill Store has plenty of books real cheap. The nation started out right but has just gone astray with all the QE and government spending.
Look for like-minded people with skills to join you. You can't do this alone.
Having majored in archaeology (M.A. back in the ‘80s), the collapse of civilisation is of particular interest to me. There are countless examples of groups from smallish tribal units to vast empires apparently overshooting some limit to their continued growth and collapsing. The reasons for such falls are numerous and rarely, if ever, straightforward.
Geographer Jared Diamond tends to focus on environmental causes, archaeologist Joseph Tainter fingers the Law of Declining Marginal Returns, and historians Carroll Quigley blamed self-serving social institutions while Arnold Toynbee argued it was due to militarism, nationalism, and the tyranny of a despotic minority. It is likely that many factors contribute to the fall of a society or civilization, but every one to date has eventually followed the downward slope of decline after peaking in complexity.
How do we rebuild after the collapse? It depends on how thorough the collapse will be and proposed solutions will depend entirely on what one perceives is the primary cause of said collapse.
If you believe that the globalist/statist/bankster/oligarchical/new world order push is the primary agent of collapse, then you will tend to focus on delegitimizing/de-powering the 0.1% and their influences going forward. If you hold that the primary cause of our problems are the limits to growth/peak oil & resources/ecological overshoot, then you will tend to view solutions very differently and propose solutions that highlight living within the limits of one’s environment.
Depending on how complete the collapse of our global systems is there may be no national or supranational entities to speak of, especially if our energy systems go offline. If that is the case, we can expect our focus to have to be local. If, however, the collapse is ‘merely’ economic, then vestiges of the present system may survive and we might avoid the ‘Dark Age’ that normally follows a total collapse. In that case, we may still have to deal with an elite class that maintains its power and privilege.
I tend to believe that the coming collapse will be global in nature because of the interconnected, globalised world that has ‘evolved’ to date. And I tend to believe that the primary agent of this collapse is a coalesence of the limits to growth (especially cheap energy), an ‘overextended’ economic system (exacerbated by the ongoing manipulations by the-powers-that-be), and a stressed environment.
So, “How do we build a sane, free world out of the ashes of the fallen system?” In my humble opinion, we need small, local, self-governed communities that adhere to the rule of law and are as self-sufficient and –reliant as possible; and not growing beyond the local carrying capacity. I think we enter the hornet’s nest of humanity’s worst traits when we grow into larger units and allow fewer individuals to decide the fate of more and more people. Whatever comes out of the ashes, just getting through the ‘transition’ in one, sane piece will be the hardest thing.

Very good post. You've obviously given some thought to the state we are in and I feel it largely rings true.
IMO, living in alignment with nature (i.e. local environment) like traditional, primitive cultures did for very long periods of time is probably close to the ideal. Think hunter/gatherer/early agriculture types. That is sustainable living.
The transition from where we are now to that sort arrangement seems close to impossible.

Change the nature of corporations. Move away from pure profit motive.
Increase transparency in everything.

But if everyone that writes here isn't willing to pick up the pitch fork (insert weapon of choice here) and the torch and starve the beast through action which means deny "the machine" it's relevance:
1) Taking your money underground
2) Stop paying income taxes to a federal government that never approved it in the first place.
3) And when they come knocking on your door to collect 1) and 2) be prepared to show them what the 2nd Amendment prepared you for!
I would like to believe that peaceful demonstration is still the best way in changing hearts and minds for those that are still undecided. But over the course of the past couple years with the major events that have unfolded and the U.S. still leading the way in more destruction of everyone else in the Middle East and now Eastern Europe with Mr. "Hope & Change" at the helm it's clear that the permanently delusionally impaired which is still the majority in this Country won't change their ways until they lose everything economically or through a war with an adversary they know they won't support and can't win.
Only when Americans hit the bottom of the economic barrel and their leaders call them to another draft following another "9/11" catastrophic event to urge us on collectively to war somewhere in Asia or Eastern Europe that we know we collectively can't win will there be any hope for real change!

For a PRACTICAL ANSWER, START WITH: Determining current up and running businesses that get it about the corruption, are successful to the point where they are STILL IN BUSINESSS, know somewhat what it takes to truly run a business and aare motivated to STAY IN BUSINESS, have invested time, money and talent and like and hopefully good at what they do. Any of those businesses that want o be on the gravy train, from my opservation anyways, are lazy, entitled, moronic robots that can't think. They will be easy to spot and at some point they willknow we know they are inept. My opinion is there would need to be some "accountabilityfor wrongdoings/unethical consequeneces whereby the inepts may have a way to redeem themselves but they would really have to earn it.
Successful business people without being on the gravy train is our biggest asset. They know business and what it takes. Start There.
Second, There is a mentorship p program called SCORE. Something like that can bring experience and wisdom and merge with the youth and fresh ideas. Both are valuable.
If we can build a strong enough network of honest ethical businesses, we can ignore the bad guys and leave them in the dust. Dont buy from them and dont sell to them. The rejection will hurt their egos!!

Unfortunately, big businesses have figured out that they can buy Congressional influence to legislate regulations/laws that bankrup small business, thus ridding themselves of competition. It is very difficult to start a small business today. The EPA is only one example but there are hundreds of others.

Well, start with laying in a good supply of whiskey, cigars, bacon, coffee, toilet paper, and underwear.

In order to create a healthy whole, don't we need healthy parts? So the question I have is what mechanism might help people to regain their sanity? Where does the line form for that?

Those stupid ones are ONLY destined by there own evil words, deeds, and actions to fall and crash and burn horribly for say a thousand earth years, or so. Truly, it is better to be in the Karmic Credit Dept, than to be in the karmic debt dept.
So, from a place of honor for all aboard, every soul, mean or nice, Love to you so that it may guide you from the heart place that knows best. Always remember, the mind is easily fooled and conditioned, but the heart always knows. I hope this makes you laugh but its true. the root of the problem is the movement of time. the movement of time is what allows for the creation of everything else in a finite creation. finite creation is what causes competition for limited resources which leads to all other societal problems.
