U.S. Military Leaders Support Iran Deal

George Washington's picture

Scores of high-level American military leaders support the Iran deal.  For example, the following 35 military officials – from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps – signed a letter urging support for the deal:

  • General James “Hoss” Cartwright, U.S. Marine Corps
  • General Joseph P. Hoar, U.S. Marine Corps
  • General Merrill “Tony” McPeak, U.S. Air Force
  • General Lloyd W. “Fig” Newton, US. Air Force
  • Lieutenant General Robert G. Gard, Jr., U.S. Army

  • Vice Admiral Lee F. Gunn, US. Navy
  • Major General George Buskirk, US Army
  • Major General Paul D. Eaton, U.S. Army
  • Major General Marcelite J. Harris, U.S. Air Force
  • Major General Frederick H. Lawson, U.S. Army Major General William L. Nash, U.S. Army
  • Major General Tony Taguba, U.S. Army
  • Rear Admiral John Hutson, U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Malcolm MacKinnon HI, US. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Edward “Sonny” Masco, U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Joseph Sestak, U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Garland “Gar” P. Wright, US. Navy
  • Brigadier General John Adams, US. Air Force
  • Brigadier General Stephen A. Cheney, U.S. Marine Corps

  • Brigadier General Stephen Xenakis, U.S. Army
  • Rear Admiral James Arden “Jamie” Barnett, Jr., U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Jay A. DeLoach, U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Harold L. Robinson, U.S. Navy
  • Rear Admiral Alan Steinman, U.S. Coast Guard

General Martin Dempsey – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – agrees.

So does Admiral Cecil E.D. Haney, U.S. Navy, who is commander of the U.S. Strategic Command.

And Admiral Eric Olson, U.S. Navy, who was Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command.

So do:

  • Secretary of Defense William Perry
  • National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski
  • National Security Advisor General Brent Scowcroft
  • National Security Advisor Samuel Berger
  • Secretary of State Madeline Albright
  • Assistant Secretary of Defense and Chairman National Intelligence Council Joseph Nye
  • Director for Iran, National Security Council and Deputy Coordinator for Sanctions Policy at the Department of State Richard Nephew
  • National Security Council Member for Iran and the Persian Gulf Gary Sick
  • Numerous additional high-level American defense, intelligence and diplomatic officials

Scores of top Israeli generals and intelligence chiefs endorse the deal as well.

So do 340 U.S. rabbis from across the political spectrum. And the majority of American Jews. And see this.

I think hope is that Iran will bow to anglo-$ionists. Cuba is another pawn in game to make alies instead enemies and all toward big players.

I have to question the motivation of any flag officer who has survived Obama's purges.

The face of this would have to be Admiral Kirby, now State Dept spokesman who replaced Psaki and Harf.

It's a big job, Admiral, filling the shoes of a Jen Psaki or a Marie Harf.

Any flag officer worth his salt would have either a) retired on the spot, or b) told them to blow it out their ass, then retire on the spot.

What happens after the U.S. goes into Syria and Ukraine after the catastrophic failure that was Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan and Libya!

And why these ex-generals, admirals, statesmen and stateswomen are such fucking cowards!

Thank God!!!

When you know you've reached your limit are over extended and without the means of both support and funds to fight a war you can't possibly win... You" Hope" you have a Russia in order to make you "Change" your mind that you decided to square off in the first place!!!

Wonder what Obama's poster will look like now?!!!

Since when do military leaders vote on foreign policy?

Dear Leader is pleased that they agree publically with their commander-pretend-in-chief.  On other news, 3 generals were separated from the military for lack of good judgment.

This just in, 9 out of 10 lesbian general officers promoted to positions vacated by Obama culling his political enemies favor this deal.

8 out of 10 just hoping to hold onto thier jobs and retire gracefully also support it.

An unknown number of former balistic missle defense commanders who were separated from the service could not be reached for thier opinions.

Obama wants it, therefore I hate it.  Tell me ONE FUCKING TIME this guy has ever earned my trust and one initiative that didn't screw us.

It's not antisemitic to support your own country's interest above the interests of other countries, it's called patriotism and not being a traitor.  You can't have it both ways.

I'm not a tinfoil hat nut that says Jews control everything.  Jews are not in charge of everything, just little things like Hollywood, news, government, finance, banking, you know, the small details that control the minds and the pocketbooks of the sheeple.

Name one other country that routinely enjoys having their dual citizenship citizens in the highest eschelon positions of the US government? Russia? Nope. China? Nope. Israel? Bingo. Name one other country that wisks our junior congressmen off to an all expenses paid junket to their country. No? (crickets)

Look, you can deny till your blue in the face and say it's completely a coincidence that 1.8% of our population (Jews) control all our important industries, but that's the facts, Jack. You can call me names when I express whether this state of affairs is a good thing or a bad thing, but you will not silence me through criticism merely for citing the facts.

And for desert, just today, someone made this little observation:

''If Jews account for just 2% of the general population, then, all things being equal, there would be a 1/50 chance of a single Jew being selected as Fed Chair. The odds of FIVE consecutive Jews would therefore be 1/50 x 1/50 x 1/50 x 1/50 x 1/50 = 1 in 312,500,000!"---Radical Marijuana

This is all ridiculous. Everybody knows Israel can nuke Iran and the Saudis and pretty much anybody else in the Middle Easst (and elsewehre) over and over and over again. Plus we all know the Samson Option, right?

The plain facts of the matter are that Iran's Never Attacked Anybody.

  • that Iran poses very little threat to the West or Israel . Top American
and Israeli military and intelligence officials say that – even if Iran did build a nuclear bomb – it would not be that dangerous, because Israel and America have so many more nukes. And see this

I don't have an opinion on Iran and nukes, but tend to agree with you.  If we stopped beating up on them, they wouldn't have us as the big Satan, and antagonist to keep their people in line.  If they attack Iran, it won't be for their nukes, it will be for money.

Any Iranian bomb would be nothing but a barganinig chip, if they ever used a nuke the country would become a glass parking lot. Any nuclear deal the US offers is just a carrot to keep Iran from supporting Assad and destroying the US operatives in Syria, known as ISIS. A Tangled Web We Weave.

It only takes one nuke to knock this counry on its behind.

One nuke exploded 300 miles over Kansas would pretty much knock out the grid and most transportation from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from Canada to Mexico.  Say good by to electricity, water, natural gas, gasoline, cell phones, cars produced after 1974, and microwaves--well you get the picture.

Hello 18th century.  Hope you got some non-hybrid seeds, manual water pump, lots of food, water, and hand tools.  Gold, silver, and lead to protect your stash away from  the city lights would be oh so helpful too.

Well said.  The Navy laughed at air power, believing in their battleships until one plane sunk and old ship during a demonstration.

Exchanging nukes went out with disco.  You just nuke the skies and let the enemy fall apart from the weight of its civilian population.

What is the point of this article?  Should I care if those people support the treaty?  Does it change my view of the treaty?

If John Skarry and Barak O are for it, it is a BAD TREATY.  That's all I need to know.  I could care less about what those other people think of it.

You might want to check those names against the list of dead/made-up Chicago voters.

Yeah!! The Democrats are selling us out. The Republicans would never play politics and lie to support the MIC just because of political donations or for post political jobs supporting the defense industry. Remember all the WMD we found in Iraq after the 2nd Gulf War?? Obama is a traitor, the Iranians are weeks away from deploying nuclear weapons. We need to BOMB IRAN NOW!!!!! Anything Obama says is a lie. Everything the Republicans say is the truth. Period!!!

MISLEADING ARTICLE GEORGE!!!

These guys are mostly retired fucks.  Some have been retired from the service for over 10 years. Just because they USED TO BE generals and admirals gives them zero cred today. Yet the casual observer reading this would think that they are serving NOW and responsible for the protection of our country TODAY.

You just lost your credibility with this one.

Are those military guys retired - like in the ground cause they would have to be brain dead to support a treaty that allows Iran to self inspect and self report like the side treaty does? Furthermore, iIf anyone in the active military, supports such a side treaty, they must be serving in the Mullahs Military.

Then, I see, Ziggy supports it and that clears it up. They're hoping for war. There, not here. Yet.

(2) We dont have the time

(3) We dont have the money

Look, let'a get something straight,

"Jews are fundamentally liars. They lie mercilessly even to themselves. Jews lie about everything. Meaning by everything literally “every single thing”. You can’t have a simple truth from aJew. Even or the most insignificant thing. I guess there must be some psychiatric, anthropological and sociological explanations for that lying compulsive behavior. There’s no more racist and disgusting slogan than “the chosen people.” It looks like derived from that slogan, they are taught and trained in the synagogues not to try and do anything but oppress peoples. For that purpose they lie again and again. Jews give God a bad name"
