Is This The Stock That Set-Off Today's Collapse?
With some of the biggest hedge funds - including Greenlight, Third Point, Glenview, Lone Pine, Fir Tree, Steadfast, Omega, York, and Canyon - all heavily invested in Sun Edison, we can't help but wonder if the total and utter collapse in the stock from yesterday's highs indicated forced liquidations that smashed it another 18.6% lower today with dramatically escalating volumes into the last hour (when stocks collapsed...)
SUNE is now down 27% from yesterday's bounce highs...
Complete Carnage...
For all of these illustrious shops...

Thomas Jefferson was concise in his early warning to the American nation, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Does it matter anymore ? We are in a glorious downturn and people don't realize the full impact yet. They will soon be "surprised, no one saw this coming". At that time, you look to the person who is surprised and say to his or her face ---- "Fuck You".
maybe it would be better if you asked the surprised one..hey,how about a selfie of just the two of us...priceless,i tell ya,priceless...
"Put your hands in the air like you don't care....."
Derivatives will save us
I don't deserve this.... I was building a house.
If it all comes apart it will be a bittersweet victory.
We all know a lot of people, friends, family who have their life savings and hopes tied up in this market. Most have no clue what's going on, and they're going to get screwed hard.
Only hope a phoenix rises out of the ashes, should it come to pass.
Are these the same people laughing in my face as I told them for the past 6 1/2 years that this is all a sham? I feel nothing for them, especially after the crashes in 2000 and 2008. Pure greed
So many people I want to say fuck you to.
When the water recedes all the ponzi s are exposed as in
SUNE
LMAOOOOOO +1000!!! Comment of the day!!!
Smart guy that Jefferson, when he wasn't busy screwing his slaves.
stupid comment
Anything that will sully the idea of "liberty" will do.
Ha ! - Like you wouldn't be screwing the slaves.
And what do you think our government is doing,,, ?
excellent.
please stop pushing that faux quote. he never actually said that.
Totally agree. It makes us look like idiots to keep pushing known wrong quotes.
Attributed to THOMAS JEFFERSON. Although Jefferson was opposed to paper money, this quotation is obviously spurious. Inflation was listed in Webster’s dictionary of 1864, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, but the OED gives 1920 as the earliest use of deflation.
I like the one he made when his negro maid came into his chamber- "booty call"
I don't know what irritates me more, the fact that people keep posting that phones Jefferson quote, or the fact people keep up voting it thinking it's real
A statement Jefferson made in a letter to John Taylor in 1816. He wrote,
"And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.
anti semite! and raycist slave owner/fucker!! he hated everyone that wasn't a white, gentile landowner!!
Maybe they're upvoting it because it is true.
For anyone who actually cares about facts... Thomas Jefferson never made the above cited statement. It is from a letter of an unknown source addressed to Secretary of Treasury Albert Gallatin in 1802.
Here's the truth regarding that quote:

thank you
Thomas Jefferson could've been a Jacobin. Like Lenin, Jefferson was a revolutionary who was profoundly influenced by the Great French Revolution and firmly believed in grand social violence against those who control the establishment. During the Great French Revolution , the US government banned any books and revolutionaries (even carried out mail censorship) coming to America from France. Jefferson's letters sent home from France (the US Ambassador to France) got censored and some burned too.
I really like this quote of his a lot: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
I rather like the quote TJ made in 1821 when he addressed a hall of dignitaries that had gathered to express concern at the growing hostilities and civil infighting. He said "Fuck you to all banking mutha fuckas.. bitchez"
Then why would he and the others can the Articles which held the states and citizens sovereign and implement a constitution that held a strong national government sovereign with the states and citizens subservient? A constitution, I might add, that was written without any safeguards for the privileges and rights of said citizens. The so called Bill of Rights was added only after some of the more astute states refused to ratify. Then after ratification,,, almost the first thing done was to enact a central bank! That went sour so they enact another! That one got the boot by apparently the only sane person that ever existed in this nation. And as they say,,, the third times a charm. We all bow and lick the Feds boots in the hopes of getting lower rates while it has purchased not only the government, but well over half the assets in the nation with it's worthless paper.
According to the chief architects (such as Hamilton and Adams), the Constitution was absolutely necessary to put "The Beast" (aka the People) back into the cage. The entire superstructure of the US was established on some sort of hierarchical structure. Hierarchy means top down control and it also means anti-democratic in nature because it excludes people. In fact, the Founding Fathers ‘found that by creating a nation, a symbol, a legal unity called the United States, they could take over land, profits, and political power from favorites of the British Empire.
Perimetr -why in th FUCK did you get all those down arrows?
I am convinced there are a bunch of paid shills on this list that want to deny history, facts, and almost anything important. Fuick them.

It's not only the direct oil plays that are killing investors, it's all the indirect energy plays that are also getting "bitch slapped" by lower demand and cheaper commodity prices. These clowns are so levered up across the board.
