Trump Top But Sanders Surges As Hillary 'Hope' Hammered In New Hampshire

Tyler Durden's picture

A stunning 78% of Democrats in New Hampshire view Bernie Sanders favorably in the latest polls. As The Hill reports, Hillary Clinton was viewed favorably by that percentage in April, but that has dropped 15 percentage points among Democrats. With Sanders topping Clinton by a 44 to 37 percent margin (VP Joe Biden garnered 9%), and Trump support among Republicans at 35%, it appears serial lying is not paying off for the Oligarchy (for now)...

As The Hill reports,

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is dominating the crowded GOP field in the early-voting state of New Hampshire, holding a 24-point lead over his nearest rival, according to a new poll.

Trump is supported by 35 percent of GOP primary voters in the state, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich (11 percent) and businesswoman Carly Fiorina (10 percent), according to the survey released Tuesday from the left-leaning Public Policy Polling.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker each take 7 percent, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 6 percent. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio each have 4 percent, while Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul has dropped to 3 percent.

The new poll has found a drop in support for several candidates, including a major drop for Walker (17 points), who has similarly seen his Trump recently steal his lead in Iowa, another early-voting state.

Bush and Trump duked it out in New Hampshire last week, before the latest figures were recorded showing only 38 percent of primary voters have a favorable opinion of Bush compared to 41 percent with a negative one.

On the Democratic side, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is leading longtime front-runner Hillary Clinton by 7 points, 42 percent to 35 percent. That's the same margin found in a separate poll in the state earlier this month.

Nearly eight in 10 Democrats in New Hampshire, 78 percent, view Sanders favorably in the latest poll. Clinton was viewed favorably by that percentage in April, but that has dropped 15 points among Democrats.

While Clinton is ahead 51 percent to 34 percent among seniors, Sanders has a 45 percent to 29 percent advantage among everyone under the age of 65, according to the poll. The two are closer on ideological metrics.

It is still a bit early but the next play in the Republican book will be to attempt to hit Trump with is the, "Unelectable Candidate" stick. The only folks more worried about Trump than the Republicans are the Democrats and Press. What so many occupying the current power regime fail to recognize is Trump's ability to conjure, congeal, and conduct public opinion in bearings previously unthinkable, unattainable, or even unmentionable. Some folks call that leadership. And rightly so. Trump is leading the way out of the stinking miasma of inane political correctness and double speak that have come to personify the nauseous "messaging" and "talking points" spouted by ALL members of the droll politico tribe and frenetic, babbling media. I make no claims regarding the wisdom of Trump's path (and have seen no hint of wisdom for more than a decade in the languishing masses that will follow him, or the one preceding him) What I will say is that Trump has whipped into a frenzy, and is riding a groundswell of support, that is nearing the tipping point with only two possible outcomes.... Either it will metastasize into an unstoppable force or will melt away as quickly as it appeared... In either case, it would appear to be unwise to ignore the scope and scale of the pent up tectonic forces brewing. Whom will finally call the elemental compulsion into being, and what result will be harvested or destruction wrought remains to be seen... One thing is certain, Nature and her Creator will not be denied. The tremors are getting stronger.

Trump, believe it or not (or at least the Trumpening itself) was predicted by the Fourth Turning book / theory. It's called te Regeneracy and it is a resurgence of Nationalism and Civic Pride which grips a nation that has long despaired of ever finding any real solutions to any of the problems they have faced. Strip away the negative connotations, and with a few caveats - you can figure that this is 1935 and we are Germany and a really Popular politician has exploded out of nowhere to take center stage. Note I DO NOT consider Trump anything like Hitler but I think his popularity and willingness to lead are a phenomenon that we have seen many many times in history before. A People, tired of having shithead weasels for leaders are about to rise up - after all, what do they have to lose ? You're going to be able to vote for Biden or Trump in the Fall of 2016. Is that really a choice ? AND - I will further point out - Trump, the resurgence of the men's rights, GamerGate, the fight back against PC-ism (finally !) these 'movements' are ALL inter-related and part of the same changes that are part of the Great Pushback.

Don't underestimate those the Democrat Bases who are just as pissed as the GOP Base.  I don't think Biden can beat Sanders.  From many a base Democrats perspective things are WORSE than in 2008 when they chose Obama (the faux Lefty) over Hillary.  Well now they have a real Lefty (whom I agree with on many issues even though I skew libertarian) running against Uncle Joe, who doesn't have the gender card Hillary played and is a part of what is considered a failure of a Democratic presidency by the base.

Trump v Sanders would likely be the most representative (of the people, not the oligarchy) election choice we've had since before WW2.

Hmm.  There is a lot of calendar between now and the election.  Everything we see televised, hear on the radio, the polls, the pundits, the talking heads, its all kaibuki theater.

The banksters have their manchurian candidate picked out, and the Diebold machines have been programmed to proclaim the victor.

If The Donald isnt their guy, watch for a nail gunning accident.

The canklesaurus is having her lies and deception aired out now.  Probably to bring her back in line.  One wrong move, or thought that she might be in charge, and the media death of a thousand cuts will continue till shes gone.

Saunders and Biden are carreer politicians that know their places and have their hands out for campain bucks, just like the 16 other RINOS.

Elections are the same shitshow as the markets.  Deep pockets are pulling all the strings.

Doing the right thing is a dedication that few would pursue (and I agree, dangerous!).  There's no monetary reward in it for the person, but the personal reward would be great.  When people realize that what's in the heart means more than what's in the wallet, maybe somebody like that will emerge.  Right now, they would be an anachronism. Still,  I hope to see it in my lifetime.

I agree that it will take someone with the simple desire to do the right things, while acknowledging the the devil is in the details of what is "right".

We will have to magically get our version of Gandhi or Martin Luther King, who can rise up from the ranks of ordinary men lifted by a strong moral reputation....or, someone like Trump.  Someone who has little more to gain personally from acquiring more financial rewards, little to fear from competitors & detractors, and a genuine desire to "Make America Great Again".  Is Trump the one?  I have no idea, but he at least presents an alternative to the shit show of American politics since the JFK assassination in 60's.  If Trump truly gets the idea in his head that his life's work now is to save America, he will be an amazingly powerful force.  The man is brilliant when it comes to getting things done.  He knows how to beat the crap out of his competition, and do it quickly and decisively.  This instills fear in his enemies, especially the pandering, politically correct, weak-kneed human garbage we have selling us out for campaign contributions and petty favors so they can enjoy a life of luxury living off the tax payer.  Just look what happens to anyone that gets in Trump's cross hairs.  Just 2 little words forever has put a brand on Jeb Bush - "low energy" - and he is toast.

None of these out of touch candidates understands marketing, promotion, modern communication....or, how to win, like Trump does.  He is killing them with free air time, drowning their carefully crafted, focus group tested messages.  Then, when their names do get mentioned, he makes them wish they hadn't been.

The next few days will be very interesting, as there seems to be an new GOP/Fox News coordinated campaign coming in to play.  Trump isn't finished with Meghan Kelly, I guess, and now Roger Ailes is forced to come to her defense.  Lindsey Graham has now presented his tired old butt to Trump and is begging for a good reaming, which I imagine will come very soon, assuming Trump will even bother with him.

This is just too much fun.  The most excitement in a political campaign since 1968.

@Froze25,

If a 'real' man were to occupy the whitehouse, he'd dispatch 'them' post-haste to a grim conference with poseidon.

the modern-mind is so facile and naive.  upon the initiation of any 'truly' dynastic change, the old order is summarily exterminated...hence, there will be no need for food-tasters.

i maintain that the code of Hammurabi remains en force...common law ain't too bad, neither.  but when it comes to the battle of thrones, the ancient order & rules are the only way to ensure legacy.

when King David assumed the throne, every single member of the house of saul were hunted, captured & butchered in the clear light of day, for all the people to see -- with one lone exception, mephibosheth the cripple (brilliant PR move by the savvy young king.  i'll bet all the young damsels' hearts were set aswoon after hearing of David's chivalrous charity & compassion).  now THAT'S how you punctuate magisterial assumption.  and then, well, you party like it's 1999.

The question is how to keep food trucks rolling during a currency collapse? The "just in time" delivery system we've adopted doesn't respond well to long periods of supply line disruption. Population reduction is going to happen regardless of some plan by the elites unless/until they solve that problem. 3 days of food in stores, assuming no panic. we haven't had a real President in some time  -just puppets selected by the elites and serving the elites.

When Obams said Biden was his best political decision, how could anyone see it as anything but the kiss of death to the Hillary campaign?

re Sanders Surges... Hillary Hammered....

Bernie, a word of advice:

- Don't even think about sneekin' off to Fort Marcy Park to smoke a joint alone.

Better  make that two words of advice:

- Swing by your local Geriatric Center and get yourself a body-double. FAST.

Sanders is controlled opposition imo... but people can believe what they want hes like the socialist evil twin of rand paul... some good things mixed with a lot of potentially toxic ideology.

Donald Trump is crazy enough that he might just win if people dont take him seriously he has the man vote for sure, the women will buy the bullshit that hes anti-women, hes not anti-women hes just a man who calls it how he sees it on a case by case basis.

Give me a president that calls it like it is over some bullshit artist who just tells everyone what they want to hear any-day but in anycase, no matter who wins..... well nothing changes... the fed will still dictate what your government does, what your markets do, what your bank charges you for your mortgage...etc... nothing changes until we start holding elections for Federal Reserve Chair-persons.

The three branches of govt dont really have a say in anything that goes on in this country, the only thing they can do is make your life harder with more taxes (since taxes never go down).

He has enough excellent lawyers on retainer to run herd on the Senate, properly motivate the CONgress and check the Corte Suprema tacos. If he goes Independent, think Ron Paul. Boner has got to go.

I am still having trouble believing the donald actually wants the presidency.

Almost all of the candidates have no idea what the role actually is.  Some actually think they can affect change.  Some actually think that they can get elected without selling themselves out.

The donald is just a competitor.  He doesn't actually want the job.  He might even play more golf than the obamoid if he does get the job.

You’ve barely got 300 hundred teeth among the whole state.
Your front lawn, it looks like trash. You have ZERO golf courses.

I saw Sanders video on youtube today, to get familiar with him. All the comments were like crazy, totally supporting him. He does have a good tone and overall it sound like a right way... if you have no clue whats the right thing to do.

He support minimum wage which is a job killer. He speak about whats wrong and he sounds(and often is) right, but beyond that I noticed he never gave specific solution. He say he want US companies from China back, without even hurting relationship(he still want China to do well to add to it), but gave no specifics as to how exactly he want to do it. At least with Trump for example we know, whether we agree or not. And how he want them back with minimum uncompetitive wage, with free guaranteed medical and education security etc. when country is basically at the default debt level I dunno. I did agreed with Iran policy though and that war is no solution.

So he is deceiver as far as I am concerned and people once again fell for it. They clearly forgot how Obama sounded right and cool back then. Oh and btw, he is jew so as sure as I was about Clinton being winner, now I have to add Sanders to the list so either him or her will win elections. Regardless, in the end either of them will kill the country.

Another Israel dual-citizen in contol of the USA?

America will never learn.

Dual citizenship is treasonous if you are in control of anything public.

I told you guys a couple times in the past month that it is March 1933 all over again.

Isn't that when the Frankfurt School left Berlin and landed in NYC, and brought with

them their cultural Marxisim. They also created political correctness later as a tool.

Uranus/Pluto conjunction in 65-66 was their big win, and this cycle correlates to both

of those times.

What was riding high in 66 is now being attacked.
