AAPL Suffers First Death Cross Since 2012
Following The Dow's recent 'death cross' - when the 50-day moving average drops below the 200-day - it fell 2000 points. So will AAPL triggering its own 'death cross' warrant "no brainer" buying-the-dip or will investors remember what happened in 2012...

Looks good.
Well, she did take a bite of the Apple.
I thought a Death Cross was 200SMA crossing 50SMA. Is it really 50 crossing 20?
you guys have to check out Jesse's Cafe, (to the left of the page), and check out that fucking Cramer on how the Apple Email Affair worked out the other day. bastards. somewhere in the first quarter of this video, the prick says he "wouldn't be telling this if it was going to be on tv". dated video, but extremely insightful. good luck.
… not so loud!
ever hear of hear plugs? and put your shades on while u r @ it. there's a reason, i'm using a braille keybord dammit.
2012? Most people can't remember what they had for dinner last night.
I remember what I had for lunch yesterday, and it was delicious. Thanks for the sandwich.
Any time, my friend.
Well, not ANY time. Just when I lose a bet to you.
2 strips of bacon, 2 Old Folk's sausages, 4 free range organic eggs fried in bacon grease....but no apple.
Terrist.
There's so much drugs and other garbage in our foods it's a wonder we can remember anything,,, now what were we talking about......
death crosses, hidenburg omens... over and over and over and over again and guess what? nadda, no massive crash. these so-called "technicals" are little more than numerology, in other words, it's poppycock.
@laomei I am right there with you.....maybe, just maybe all the bullshit technicals are really relative anymore because they were are true when the market wasn't a complete pharse. I have been walled up in my basement for 3-years waiting for a massive crash.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Rule 48, where are you!?!?
Anybody seen how the miners are getting hammered!?!?!!?!??!?
Down 20% since friday!!!!
Silver down 4%.
Me thinks I'll be a buyin'
Firesale!
Technicals, like findamentals, don't matter anymore for many market that include USA, the EU and China. Australia and Canada with their massive house subsidies are up there also.
Most kids in finance in their 20's and 30's wouldn't know a "free market" if it head them in the head.
… the ONLY question left is:
Whose debt gets repaid and whose is defaulted upon?
'xsacktly
I'm still waiting for my e-mail from Tim. I'll get back to you as soon as it arrives.
Cramer… is that YOU ?
FUK YOU, FANBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
300 points up again... just like before.... sigh........b-o-r-i-n-g....
Hey, Ms. Wizard,,, can you at least give us a little variety!
It's not in the way that you ramp it,
It's not in the way you say care,
It's not in the way you've been treating my friends,
It's not in the way that you ramp in the end,
It's not in the way that it looks, or the things that you say or you do-
HOLD THE LINE!
Afternoon ramp must be on time!
I wonder what real capitalism would be like, one in which there were a 100 AAPL instead of one.
So I ask my financial guru..should I buy these "dip" sh*t stocks or should I sell this crap...my financial guru says he is going to flip a coin and let me know the answer...damn.. it landed on it's edge..
Apple's major product is iPhone, the premium cellphone brand name. But how long will that last?
Someday cellphones will be sold on the rack at your local drugstore, just like hand calculators. Remember when people really cared about the brand of hand calculator you used? HP was the premium brand, but now nobody cares at all.
The only question is how long it will take to get to this point. Unless Apple can originate another entirely new product with as much sales growth and profit, it is a slow descent into a commodity market.
Remember Apple isn't an electronics sweat shop employer, it is actually a hedge fund - Braeburn in Reno. I think the Tylers did a story on it a few weeks ago.
Anyone who puts one of these on has reached the pinnacle of jerk-offness...
