People don't raise boys to be men nowadays. I expect tons of grief for raising my boy to grow up and be a man. I'm sure I'll be called every name in the book for it.
thank you divingengineer.......I get it, in America it is unacceptable to believe in any distinction between a man and a woman...so, raising a boy to be a "man" is unacceptable.
Chinese people waffle...sometimes they surprise us all...like in an Earthquake response. Where, most of the world would cry for help, the Chinese will step up to the plate and take care of business. Yet, they also have a pathetic pair of blinders on when it comes to helping fellow citizens even in life threatening situations. My Chinese friends say this goes back to the "cultural revolution"....but even today, my Chinese friends tell me, they won't help take someone to the hospital because the person might say the good samaritan harmed them and then they will have to pay for all the medical expenses. This is something hard for us westerners to understand....particularly us westerners who believe in human decency and the virtues of helping others in emergencies.
Actually the right thing to do is wait a little to figure out what to do or even wait for professional help. You dont want to be moving people with broken bones. It is also very dangerous to be standing around a sinkhole like that. The ground around the hole may cave in too.

Is it just me or do these 'cctv' cameras always seem to be aimed at strange places right where the action is, and always seem to be moving? Remember the Thai bomber video that was centered on his face as he dropped the backpack while the camera moved as if it were being held by a person?

What the fuck does that mean to us today? What am I supposed to do with that info? Am I supposed to condemn anybody that celebrates "Pass Over" or has "stein" in their last name? I guess what I'm really asking here is, Does it really matter where the evil is coming from? Shouldn't the fact that the guys screwing over the world are evil - shouldn't that be enough? Is a lie somehow worse because of it's source? Is the Matrix we live in, somehow worse because of who created it, rather than that it exists at all?
